I almost commented the translation and then I saw the reposters name. I just want to say that I am... ashamed... and my day is ruined. /s

I finally have an excuse to rant about this!!! I'm going to go down the list of planets in order and then talk about the non-planets. This is probably going to be multiple posts though, sorry. Also remember that this is Fanon and most of these aren't 100% agreed upon, it is just what I think fits best!

Sun - Grian. This one is pretty obvious and doesn't need much explaining but I like to think of it as the planets orbit around the Sun, for it is their centre, just like how Grian is the "leader" of the Lifers. Also, in old Irish, Grian means Sun.

Mercury - Scar. Mercury is associated with the Roman god Mercury (His Greek form is Hermes), and some of his domains include trickery, trading and thievery. And guess who's right at home with all of that? With it being the closet planet to the Sun, it works well with DesertDou. Finally, it’s known as the great betrayer, but also the forgotten planet. Like when Grian leaves him for BigB in Double Life. He's forgotten. 

Venus - Skizzleman is most known for being the kindest person throughout the series, and he puts his love for his friends over everything else. Venus (Also known as Aphrodite) is a goddess of love and the theory works well with the Heart Foundation. Venus the planet, however, is extremely deadly, just like how Skizz easily succumbs to bloodlust. He may be loving, but he is not harmless.

Earth - Gem. This one is debated a bit, with some people thinking that Scar could also work but I think Gem fits better. Nature is extremely associated with Gem, and her cottagecore aesthetic is the biggest reason. But Gem also embodies the darker parts of nature- she is vicious and predatory, just like the Warden! She is life in all its parts, fitting for our living planet. She's also a great duo with Pearl, our local moon! Random fun fact: Earth and Venus are known as twin sisters so… do with that information what you will. I don't watch Skizz that much so I can't think of a way to tie them together.

This is probably one of my favorite parts of this fandom and I love outer space, so... thank you for listening to the first part of my TedTalk :) I'll probably post the rest later but hope you enjoyed my rant.

I need some help here guys. I'm pretty new to the Life series fandom (as of Wild Life episode 1 and have caught up with the other series since) and I'm only starting to dip my toes into the Hermitcraft videos (and the content creators involved in both series)

So, can someone explain the whole celestial body association people are making regarding the Life series winner and the fact that Joel breaks that trend?
