long time no see you guys, I hope everyone on tumblr has been great! I’ve been working late hours  and I was just taking a breather, thinking about the deadpool movie and how great that was lol... and then I thought of something that would be really really cool that you guys might want to see!

so after watching the deadpool movie I got reaaalllyyy excited about Cable being in the sequel(yep you know me), and I thought of this personal project where I re-design Cable as if you were to see in the next movie? I’m thinking of doing a bunch of sketches of actors like Jon Hamm, Stephen Lang and Eric Dane(from last ship, that was my coworkers suggestion haha) as Cable. I have been trying to work on some personal stuff outside of work but I could never really find anything that I was really excited about until I thought of this thing hahaha. and I also think itd be really fun if I do like a cinematic illustration of deadpool and cable maybe like an action scene or any sort of scene that might look really cool? idk what do you guys think? I would really appreciate getting any suggestions you guys might have *v* *v* I know that I’ve been really quiet these past...few years LOL but I do have been following some of the deadpool/cable stuff (I read the split second a while ago and I LOVED it aaaaahhhh) and I’m so sorry I haven’t been so active here as often as before! I think starting on this project will really help me get into these cablepool feels again and also WILL help me in building my personal portfolio which I think would be a win-win situation! hahaha. anyways those were my random thoughts, feel free to suggest me any fun scenes or anything that you might want to see!! I would really appreciate it! oh and when I have time I will post up a bunch of those alla prima paintings that i have been doing... IF you guys are interested. u_u; sorry for the random rambling but I was too excited and just wanted to share my thoughts LOL. ok back to work!

Wow it's been forever since I posted here, but I just read the new Deadpool VS. X-Force series and I was wondering how everyone else was doing here. it does feel good to see the old cable with the metal arm again..  the drawings were super cool too which was a huge plus u_u <3

Anyways It's very strange to see people are still reblogging some of my posts lol, and if anyone was wondering about how I've been doing--

I dropped out of school and took a job as a concept artist over at Treyarch and have been busy working. But if I can, I wanna get back into doing some fan art on my spare time! Reading the series made me miss drawing Deadpool and Cable haha, those were super fun times!!

I'm kinda debating about starting a new blog where I can upload my professional pieces along with my sketches but I'm not sure yet--since I can't upload any of the pieces that I'm working on for the game that we are working on, I might just upload some of my old portfolio pieces even though I'm not completely happy with those. we shall see!

Anyways I hope everyone has been doing great!! gotta start looking into what some of my old tumblr friends have been doing. u_u One of those days I wanna try drawing some deadpool and xforce stuff. Once I do, I will try to upload some here.

Oh my god i missed it!!!! it was last year :( :( sigh. Edgar Payne is one of my favorite plein air painters

Two weeks ago, I blogged about a book by Edgar Payne that I read. It just so happens that there’s an Edgar Payne exhibition going on near me, at the Pasadena Museum of California Art.

I was there today. It was amazing. It had over 100 paintings/drawings/photographs. And I gotta say, seeing his paintings in person really made me realize even more that I have a very long road ahead of me. But at the same time, it was very inspiring and made me want to work harder! :) If you like paintings, go check out this exhibition. Even if you’re not into art, check out the exhibition anyways. You will not regret it. You have until October 14, here are the visiting hours of the museum.

Photography is not allowed so I didn’t get any pictures. There’s a book that I’m thinking about buying. It has every painting in the show included: Edgar Payne: The Scenic Journey.

This is one of the first (and silliest) mods I made for TF2 years ago. It’s based on the Gentlemen meme and replaces the Spy’s original head. It’s kinda broken now though, because I haven’t kept it up to date with the many updates Valve adds all the time.

I also found this video in which the model is used, which is pretty sweet.
