More Kenny sketches and another try at a Mysterion redesign.

Kenny's design for a Sci-Fi/Dystopian Horror RP group that I'm writing him in. The characters were given a single sheet at the beginning for clothing, and Kenny made due. I was also allowed to age him up, so of course, I used my teen design

dude I just know I’m gonna be so hated for saying this but here goes: Kenny is allowed to be an asshole at times, and in fact at times IS an asshole in the show- just like literally EVERY SINGLE 10 year old boy on the show is at times. And that’s okay, and it doesn’t mean it’s out of character for him! Kenny is my favorite person in the show and at the end of the day I still think he’s one of the most wholesome characters overall, but goddamn some of the mental circles I see some folks go through on this site to try to paint Kenny as 100% heavenly with almost no flaws is baffling to me. for example I saw someone complaining that diken baus was out of character for him- like no, it wasn’t?? you can dislike it all you want, but it was in character (and I head canon Kenny made it up to butters later) 😭 I get that folks want him to be 100% heavenly towards butters, but he isn’t always going to be and never has been. (remember the episode where butters is on the tetherball pole? yes, our boy Kenny WAS one of the instigators of this bullying here). there’s a reason Cartman sought out Kenny specifically to be his partner in that episode. they’ve always had a fascinating relationship where Kenny mostly dislikes him yet still gets along with him on account of immature humor and pranks. This isn’t to say I don’t think Kenny knows the meaning of hard work, because I know he VERY MUCH does. But Kenny also very much fucking loves stupid 10 year old boy humor like their stupid drawing balls with ketchup on the plates and Cartman knew Kenny would be the one of his friends to appreciate this all. There’s also a reason in the vaccine special that it is Kenny who helps come up with the prank on their teacher with the ketchup. He was just as into as Cartman and he finds shit like that hilarious, sometimes not thinking through the impact his actions can have on others, because he’s fucking 10 years old. Kenny can do some bad shit and be an asshole sometimes and I promise it’s OKAY and doesn’t negate the good he’s done- it’s the nature of the show; all the boys in the show who are supposed to be the moral compasses or ‘good’ have these moments like Dicken Baus. This doesn’t erase all the overall good of his character just like characters like Kyle, Butters, and Stan fucking up don’t erase their wholesome moments. But it also doesn’t mean the times Kenny can be an asshole are out of character 😭

I'm in the middle of so many big art projects, including finally starting work on art for the upcoming Kenny Week, and instead of working on any of those, I've been making icons for my Kenny so I can RP him on Dreamwidth. A lot of these are just spruced-up doodles, but some of them are brand new or stuff I haven't shown before, and I put too much effort into these to just have them be icons most people aren't going to pay attention, too.

Not sure if anyone else would ever want to use these, but if you do, feel free. Just please give me credit for the art.

My first pass at making designs for David and Nichole for the @lazarus-spau comic.

As I've been working my way through the script, they've both developed pretty prominent roles (Nichole in particular, who's ended up taking over the majority of what was going to be Henrietta's role in the plot), so I wanted to start working on designs for them.
