P:EG Medieval Au - Ulysses Wilhelm

Ulysses is a worker in the castle; he works in the castle's store of knowledge as the caretaker for all the books and documents he had taken over the job after his mother; the previous caretaker had passed away; Ulysses barely leaves the library and has been working in the library since he was 16. 

“During the first day of Ulysses working he had been dusting off the bookshelves when a boy had walked in and had looked around confused as if looking for something or someone now that he thinks about that make sense since he had just only replaced his mother this week the news of her passing probably was yet to reach others due to the lack of importness (sorry Mrs.Wilhelm 😔) as ulysses stares at the boy a thought pass through ulysses mind that he recognises the younger boy but he just can’t put his finger on it”. 

That’s basically how Ulysses meeting with Damon would go from there I’d see them building trust and Ulysses being a type of teacher/mentor to Damon helping with his education knowing that Damon is trying to improve his knowledge knowing one he will have too overthrow Tozu and step up as king even though Ulysses isn’t the best of teacher Damon is quick to pick things up and always asks questions which he is always delighted to answer as he isn’t use to people taking interest in the subject and knowledge that he has.

The Wilhelm family has been caretakers of the king’s library for generations; they have been trusted with generational secrets of the kingdom and the royal family, they are the keepers of all and the information will be taken to the grave with the Wilhelm’s

Project Eden's Garden Medieval/Fantasy AU - Damon Maitsu

So unlike with the first post I made for this AU which was more like suggestions and ideas, this post will have more detail for what I’m fully picturing for the whole AU and I'll be releasing these for the characters individually to make it more easy to read cause a lot of these are gonna be really long.

Ps. I don't edit things so sorry if there's any mistakes also these are going to just be drafts

Damon Maitsu

Starting with Damon, his story line in this is that he lived in the slums with his family but around either 8 or 16 years old his family is killed in front of him by the king's knights as he is being dragged away to become the kings ward as Tozu was not playing on having his own family he just one day had taken a trip through the slums and pointed at a random houses first houses was empty second not having any kids just a dude and his wife but the third house had Damon and Tozu was basically just like “Okay found an incompetent peasant who’s young enough kill his family and we shall go back to the castle” keeping with this is random but has reason like with the blackmail Tozu choose the receives at random but the reason for the blackmail was for a motive. In this case it’s he choose Damon at random but he purposely took someone from the slums because as a tyrant his actions are not to benefit his kingdom and as some who isn’t planning on a family anytime soon he choose the next person from the slums to just fuck them over unfortunately for Tozu though Damon was most definitely the wrong choice as Damon had made a resolve in that moment to take down Tozu and would later on become the leader of an uprising rebellion to take down Tozu. 

Tozu had appointed Damon as his ward and this creates hope for some of the kingdoms citizen for a possible better future but majority of the people that had their lives ruined and destroyed or had witnessed Tozu’s corrupt actions as king have associated Damon with Tozu and his actions and don’t see Damon as new hope or a victim instead seeing as another pawn for the tyrant king or the one to follow in the king’s footsteps.

While Damon had been taken to the castle Tozu didn’t give him an education or freedom in fact the castle became more of a prison than anything all he could do is survive in these new circumstances and adapt, learn and educate himself while he does miss his parents he knows that they wouldn’t want him to give up so he chooses to take the weight of the responsibility of this kingdom to change and improve it but he has to overthrow the tyrant king so over the years he tries to make allies and gather those already trying to rebel.

(don’t know which age I should go with yet but for now I’m gonna type this like it's 8 years old when talking about it in the other characters sections of whatever this is. Either way my boy still gets the lovely gift of ✨trauma✨. He’s my favorite therefore he gets the most angst)

Okay so I’d like to just say a theory I have about the Project Eden’s Garden so people have been talking about who Damon’s support character is and just want to say that Damon doesn’t have a support character cause he is the support character cause think about in danganronpa games the support character is the one who guides the class/the protagonist through the class trial and everyone thought it was gonna be Eva or Wolfgang after the prologue and then after chapter 1 everyone thought that it’s gonna be Kai or Diana but they haven’t guided Damon at all in fact Damon has been guiding them and just to solidify my argument on this think about kyoko kirigiri she was makoto neagi’s support character and she was the main voice of reason in the first game and she wasn’t fully on anyone’s side and this is what makes Damon pov so different from other protags it’s because while as much as he’s tsundere he is we’re kind of playing from the support character pov this and as far as I know this hasn’t really been done before and another thing that aligns Damon with this even more is that he sure of himself he has faith and confidence in himself the same way support characters usually do

DAMON IS THE SUPPORT AND EVERYONE ELSE IS THE PROTAGONIST

(this is probably wrong but Damon being the support feels like it fits so well)

Anyway had to put this out there please share your opinions on this theory I’d love to hear your opinion and thoughts about it!

Project Eden's Garden Medieval/Fantasy AU

Idk if it's supposed to be referred to as fantasy or medieval au, also I'll probably talk 'bout this more later just not now cause I spent like 3-4 hours just brain vomiting the ideas in my head and i didn't even put them all down. T^T

P.S. this is just my spin on the Fantasy AU because I've come across fanart and fanfiction for Fantasy au's but not involving all the characters and brain just decide to analyze and think about who would fit what kind of role based on what we know about the characters so far and I ain't even done a deep dive yet cause I haven't had the time or motivation so this has just been in the back of my mind for a long while.

Kai - Servant boy or sold of by his family either way probably got cast astray; I base this of the theory I've seen of kai not having a good relationship with his parents and considering he was trying to pay rent by working part-time jobs when 16 considering that Kai had gained his title two years ago when he was 16 so the idea of a parents who love their kid letting them live on their own doesn't exactly match up so... him having bad family relations makes sense. Therefore I place Kai as some kind of servant boy considering we don't know much of his family this feels the most along the lines considering I see Kai as someone who would of worked in customer service considering that he's quite sociable

Diana - I would make her the queen's personally maid or the one who handles the queens outfits expect Tozu has no bitches lol jk we have no idea but I have this thought floating around in my head that Tozu is an AroAce so no queen, no Mrs.Tozu; instead Diana is a noble lady who works in a boutique and is like the pinnacle of women's beauty in nobility which matches nicely for her

Jean - Sailor obviously

Eva - an unsuccessful scholar cause no-one takin our girl seriously, she spends her life on research but she often gets either looked down on or her research stolen from her cause the world is just like that and in this kind of century she would have a difficult time perusing her passion; I don't know much about her family but I'm gonna place her as a noble cause that fits

Mark - I would say a famed bard but no, not exactly. I think while mark would be a bard but considering he goes by Mayhem and doesn't have a proper public image of himself I see him doing one of two things; 1. doing street performance and hiding his identity while doing it; or 2. he performs/plays at specific time during the day everyday and doesn't realize he's unknowingly become a famed musician that people are trying to figure out the identity of but never can; I personally like option 2 but ultimately up to you for what ya prefer. I'm unsure what his day job would be maybe a craftsman apprentice but I more see him a high noble son who is ill so he choose to experiment with music cause he ain't got much to do considering he's barely let out of the house?? Mansion? idk the place he lives

Wenona - Merchant no explanation or over explaining/analyzing needed like Jean it's the obvious option as Wenona is the ultimate entrepreneur

Toshiko - A young noble lady who definitely doesn't eavesdrop on noble drama and have all the tea on how the state of nobility is going and all the drama in it, nope totally not

Ingrid - I don't think I need to even say it because again no explanation needed she is literally the ultimate blacksmith so…. moving on!

Damon - family low birth so likely he was taken and sold off or parents died and he got taken in by nobility of sorts at least that how I see it playing out as people usually place Damon as a prince in fantasy type au's (I would of written more on what I place Damon for this au but I want it to remain open for interoperation cause I'm hoping this spawns some fanfiction)

Ulysses - he would be 'the Lord Chancellor' which according to google is what the name used for the person in charge of the kings storage of knowledge and if not that then he'd probably be a librarian or servant boy cause I doubt there would of been a library or bookshop of sorts since books where often only accessed by those of nobility or something along those lines (idk much about history or medieval times just know that paper was really expensive so therefore books)

Wolfgang - this motherfucker is most definitely nobility, I could see his dad being apart of the kings court or something and being corrupt and Wolfie hating his father for it, his mother I could see either dying when giving birth or falling ill when he was a child or just straight up leaving. I could see Wolfgang getting the same occupation as his father due to being force into it and trying to make a change

Grace - I think she would be a noble lady who choose to go down the path of a knight, I believe that she would have most definitely struggled like she did in her career in golf and considering she's a noble lady it would make it even harder for her due to sexism and the standard for how a noble is "supposed to act"; We don't know much about Grace yet so I don't have much to say for what her family would be like but based of how she acts in the game and her 2025 birthday, imitation and echo art post on twitter I see her having certain really close friends in this case Diana and Wolfgang; I see as people who would be childhood friends to Grace, she's also someone who I perceive as fiercely loyal to those she cares about and someone who will always stand for what she believe is right so probably doesn't agree with orders that Tozu makes to the knights most likely causing riots every now and again

Eloise - She would also be a knight but considering she her talent is the ultimate fencer she would and could fly through the ranks; and would fight those being sexist honestly could see half the knights being scared of her and the other half having admiration for her just becomes a rule for most of the knight to not fuck with Eloise; Eloise would also be one of the people I see not having a very high social standing as her becoming a knight is what provides her family with more money but unlike in game her mother would still be working unless she falls ill cause that depends if we learn more about Eloise mother and her sisters either also working or got married p,s. I think her mother would be selling bread on the market

Desmond - An archer in the knights army dude could probably use a sword considering we've seen him holding a sword in official art but for obvious reason from the game he prefers the bow and any other long range weapons; He would probably come form a noble family who've had a long line of knights and due to this was pushed hard to succeed and his family line probably over time became nobility from past awards for their work in the kings army.

(A lot of these are so obvious I don't even know why I'm still going T^T )

Cassidy - I personal really want to place her as a jester for the king cause of Cassidy behaviour and oddish actions during certain scenes in the game would go into detail but for now not going to, she could also be a street performer but this could probably change later based on how the game plays out so she can be a street performer; idk for Cassidy really the role of a jester feels right and with my thought pattern on Cassidy seems correct but i don't wanna explain it at the moment cause I'm tired so moving on to the next thing

Jett - Carriage driver who also works at the stables; also in this I see Jett being a carriage driver for the king and as Tozu being a Tarrant I imagine that a person who is a rebel against the king or is taking vengeance against the king and knowing that Jett is often the driver for the king Jett is driving the carriage back to somewhere and the Rebel sets a trap thinking Tozu's in the carriage when it's really just our boy Jett alone driving it back and they set the carriage a blaze thinking Tozu's inside but he's not so our boy Jett is suffering for no reason here p.s. this is only really implemented the if ya want the canon event of Jett nearly dying in a fire due to a driving accident less of a accident in this case

Tozu - Man is our lovely Tyrant King with Mara being his right hand of course

Mara - The King's Advisor or personal knight? (idk whichever u like more) would defiantly still be Tozu's right hand even if she were just his personal guard
