This is why supported housing is so important. But how does supported housing help those with learning disabilities or autism? Zetetick tenants, Nathan and Rosie, share their stories. Grenfell | Forever in our Hearts 14th June 2023 marks the sixth anniversary of the Grenfell Tower fire. On 14th June 2017, across the nation, we listened to news broadcasts and watched helplessly as the London Fire Brigade battled one of the worst disasters in British peacetime. Whilst the public inquiry has now ended and it is anticipated that the report will be published later this year, the devastating impact of the fire is still felt by survivors and the bereaved. Today we take a moment to remember the 72 people who lost their lives and those whose lives were changed forever. We thank the London emergency services who worked tirelessly ...read more on our charity website:

A Tribute to our First Tenant At Zetetick Housing, we recently said goodbye to someone very special: our very first tenant. Her memory continues to shine brightly in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was the kind of person who lit up every room she walked into. With a deep love for tattoos, Bob Marley, and an infectious sense of humour with a wonderful way to make you laugh whenever the team saw her; she truly was one of a kind. Being in her company was always a joy; her presence brought warmth, humour, and a glow of something unique, leaving a lasting impression on all of us. Despite the very 'British' weather the community came together and emersed themselves in festive activities. Children could visit Santa’s Grotto; families could take part in a Christmas shopping trail and there was live music and food and drink stalls. A big thank you to all the volunteers that helped make this event happen. Zetetick Housing relished the opportunity to open its office doors to allow ...read more on our charity website:

Tenant Involvement at our housing charity Tenant involvement at Zetetick Zetetick Housing is a registered charity, a housing charity not a housing association. For us our 'Bedrock Values' mean tenant involvement is central to everything we do. As a charity specialising in supported living for people with learning disabilities or autism, we recognise how vital it is to give our tenants a voice and ensure their views shape the services we provide. However, the nature of our work brings unique challenges. Many of our tenants face barriers to traditional decision-making processes, whether due to behaviours that challenge or limited capacity. ...read more on our charity website:
