Oh, have I told you this? In my au only Dibble can 'see' Top Cat and his gang. He's the only human aware of their existence, it's hella funny.

I was bored at 3 am so I made an au of Top Cat being an eldritch entity/god of chaos (....Bill Cipher yeah I got kinda inspired with the new book), and I had so much fun, I made so many drawings. NO, NO, WAIT, HEAR ME OUT

He's pretty much the same silly boy but with a bigger obsession with "unmasking" Dibble. Which I think is kinda fair, he has trusting issues and he knows humans, so he just can't believe Dibble is a good guy. He is "hiding something" for sure, because "all humans do", "good person? There is no such a thing".

You get me, right?

I'm Absolutely down for this dynamic.

Charlie hasn't changed, he's literally the same.

Dibble is just existing, ok? He is a simple man with simple thoughts. The fact that the only thing he did wrong is being a decent person is so hilarious.

Ofc, the plot is almost the same, Top cat messes with humans, turns everything upside down (discord vibes) and Dibble has to stop him somehow.

I don't like that show and I think nobody I know likes it, but we all agree that song is a BANGER, it's just so good. The english version is the original song, the one I used is a male cover made by Zero on YouTube.

I'm thinking about making an animatic for the full song and add an english translation but I will need to rest first x'D

Oh and sorry, I forgot to comment before; your god of discord au really grew on me! I’m not normally one for AUs but I really do like that one. Top cat clinging to and making it his personal mission to break a completely ordinary guy like dibble, to the confusion of everybody else? Even letting dibble - his pet mortal - boss him around? Absolutely love it!

OMG AWW HDJDGKD sorry, this made me really really happy 😭😭😭 I usually think I'm just crazy and drawing things that only I can see the point in, I'm so glad someone else enjoys it as much as I do. I have more content I made for those guys! Little details I wanted to add like this Top cat being almost "tricked" by Dibble's good intentions and pure kindness

Ahem- I don't know how to give context of the movie without spoilers but I can give context of the drawing itself. It is inspired in "a lovely night", one of the musicals where the protagonists sing that they feel absolutely nothing for each other while they are aware that the stage is perfectly set for a nice and romantic night, but in the end they just don't give a f*ck and start singing how much they hate each other XDDDDD

Hey there! Sorry I was tired last night and didn’t see you had an ask box ^^’. Same question applies though; what do you think was wrong with Dibbles character in the movies? I think his best character portrayal was in Beverly Hills Cats.

Here we go! Again, glad you asked *Takes out the detective board* JDHDH /j. I also like the Dibble from the Beverly Hills movie btw! It's the best one so far. But the problem I mostly see is.... I'm pretty sure none of the writers think Dibble has an important role or they can't include him appropriately in the plot so they say “we don't need him, leave him away from the whole thing”. And he is in the background doing some stuff, being angry. Sometimes we see him helping but not too much so he doesn't take away too much screen, that hurts…maybe the writers think the kids could see him as a boring old man. Or they don't use him for anything more than humiliating him to make a joke (like in the 2011 movie). They don't seem to understand he is not the bad guy either and why he is not, I get they want the whole spotlight for top cat and his gang but they don't always do the right thing (money is always legal in Top cat’s mind even when it's not) and that's why we need the good guy with a good heart! The only one who can counteract this is Dibble, he can be harsh but also kind. But they don't show him like this in the movies?? Why? Acts like the average policeman when being a policeman is just PART of his personality. Sometimes he seems more relaxed/angry and not so paranoid when he should be, he knows them, he's known them for so long that I can't blame him for being paranoid (he said he is somehow married to them, time to understand how heavy is that), top cat is almost the meaning of trouble that’s why. And they can't expect me to not feel bad when they break their dynamic or not use it at all. So much potential….

Ehem, sorry, english is not my first language… there is a lot of stuff I want to write about them and how their characters can be used for more skdkd too much brainrot. I'm really thinking about drawing my own concept of what a good movie about top cat could be like!

I've been also thinking about giving an alt bad ending to this story. One where Top cat finally breaks him and proves that Dibble actually did have his bad side hidden somewhere. I need to polish this a little more.

It's kinda fucked up, I mean, imagine the worst thing a man like Dibble could do when he lose it. I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen but who knows?
