I finally made one, comprised ONLY of my work and without you all supporting ZINE I wouldn't have even come this far in the blogging world. So for the sake of creativity, support, the wonderfulness that is tumblr and a follow back if not already, please follow away and enjoy! Thank you <3 Elke

Usually people in this man's position have given up hope. Maybe this gentleman has too, I don't know, but he hasn't given up his sense of self or his sense of expressing something about himself to the world. In my quick shot I had noticed his pale blue boots, what I hadn't noticed at first were the matching blue socks, blue trimmed gloves, and blue framed glasses. This shot isn't about fashion - but about someone who, while down on his luck, hasn't lost his need to communicate and express himself through style. Looking at him dressed like this makes me feel that in some way he hasn't given in or given up
Scott Schuman (2009).

Bert Is Evil
Back in 1998, Dino Ignacio received the Webby Award and the People's Voice Award for Best Weird Website at the Palace of Fine Arts auditorium in San Francisco, for Bert Is Evil: a website dedicated to proving that Sesame Street's character Bert is not in fact an innocent childhood character but a badass criminal. Bert Is Evil channels manipulated images of Bert buddying up with the baddies of our history, at the scenes of assassinations and in jail with the worst of the worst peeps in the world. Read More
You can even upload content to Bert is Evil to their personal email, as along as you are happy that your image will be used as evidence to their case (you fucking nerd) and are aware of the unsignable terms and conditions that your image may be printed off in Bangladesh where people who don't know what Sesame Street is will use your poster for pro- evil-dude campaigns, which may or may not be globally broadcasted.
Nonetheless, if you want to be culturally engaged and join the active people's train to wherever our contemporary media convergence is taking us to then feast eyeballs here.

There's been some heated filmmaker on filmmaker insults passed around the table over the past decade: to see Jean-Luc Godard back-chatting Quentin Tarantino's production company and other bitchin' and moaning between Spike Lee, Tyler Perry and Stephen Spielberg to name a few check out Flavorwire's 30 Harshest Filmmaker-On-Filmmaker Insults In History ⦿
