Hello. I'm liking your green tea and matcha mod and was wondering if there was any way to make it compatible with ani's tea mod. It would be cool to be able to have green tea from an actual teapot.
Hi, glad you're liking the mod!
It might be possible to do that but I don't think I'll be working on an update for the matcha mod in the foreseeable future, sorry :(

Hi, Good morning/afternoon. I had an idea regarding your water well mod. I wanted to throw the idea to you to contemplate. How about making a container of some sort to collect "rain" water for the medieval worlds. That way they could have them on each lot for when it rained and would be able to use them during "rain" seasons. It was just an idea. I don't know how to make objects so I couldn't make it myself but it was just an idea.
Have a great day!
Well I do like that idea :D
I don't plan to work on that mod at the moment, but if/when I do, I'll look into implementing this!

4to3 Myshunosun's Rosa Bathroom Conversion
Started this a little while ago and finally got round to finishing this set. I converted all 8 items: toilet, shower, sink, mirror, towel holder, creams, lotion, and cleansers.
Original set: Rosa Bathroom by myshunosun
Tumblr media
More details and download below!
CASt:
Objects have one preset and are fully recolourable.
Tumblr media
Object Details:
Toilet: 782/679 polys, 225, found with other toilets
Sink: 1440/1123 polys, §120, found with other sinks
Shower: 1396/994 polys, §500, found with other showers
Mirror: 172/135 polys, §95, found with other mirrors
Towel Holder: 716/708 polys, §100, decor>misc decor, bathroom>accents
Cleansers: 414/241 polys, §40, decor>misc decor, bathroom>accents
Creams: 348/258 polys, §40, decor>misc decor, bathroom>accents
Lotion: 94/92 polys, §15, decor>misc decor, bathroom>accents
Notes:
The shower water effect does not come out of the right place - it seems like it can't be moved by moving the position of the bone and so is always the same as the EA showers, but if anyone has any idea of moving this effect let me know!
As always, any problems let me know :)

(Also for anyone curious about my other WIPs, I haven't been so productive with modding lately but the plan is to release Flower Arranging V2.0 very soon after cleaning up some small issues and a feature for use with the pottery mod, then returning to work on the pottery mod/material state editor!)

WIP Update (Pottery Mod etc.)
Heyo, figured I'd give an update on my WIPs, especially as I mentioned previously about making a post about the pottery mod and proceeded to not do that...
Long story short, I had to take a break from working on the pottery mod for a little while, then I didn't pick it back up when I could, became afraid to look at it, started other WIPs including a cow mod and a script modding tutorial project, and now am working on a project tangential to the pottery mod - a material state editor tool! I'm pretty excited about it because I'm diving into using S3PI and I'm honestly just surprised it's working out so far. This tool should make it less tedious to add all the glaze types to the ceramics for the pottery mod, and maybe someone else will find it useful too! At least my future self will if I make another mod that involves objects with material states... otherwise it's me spending 50 hours working on a tool to automate something that might take 5 hours! Yay technology...! I'm also hoping this post will help get me back into working on the pottery mod itself... I already had to fix a problem I so kindly left for myself in the code before I stopped working on it, in order to finish getting the screenshots, so that's good?
Anyway here is an overview of the pottery mod so far, and my plans for it:
Interaction
I have a Make Ceramic interaction, with the converted sims 4 pottery wheel, where you can pick the ceramic to make and the sim will sit at the wheel, and make it! I still have more animations to convert but I might not do all of them for simplicity's sake.
Skill
Currently just have a basic pottery skill, which will determine which items your sim can make, but I could add a couple of skill stats and maybe challenges.
Objects
I've also made some progress on converting the sims 4 pottery objects, but it will also be easy to add other objects to the XML file if you want.
Glazing
I also have an XML set up for selectable glazes, so you can pick in game which sims 4 glaze you want for the sims 4 objects, as well as a default one which will be fully CAStable. It's therefore possible to add selectable glazes to other objects, but you'll need to be comfortable adding the textures as material states rather than regular presets. But CASt has you covered anyway :p
Kiln
The kiln object is where you finish the ceramics, either choosing a sims 4 glaze or a normal CAStable version. Sims 4 has the kiln process be almost instant, but I have it so the ceramic will take a few hours to finish and your sim can come and pick it up later - like the nectar machine from WA.
Still to do:
Finish converting the sims 4 ceramics
Set up the glazes for them
Add more pottery animations
Skill improvements
Add sounds to wheel and kiln
Mod in action:

Turns out it was because I use Games4theworld Store Fixes. They have you put a copy of ccmerged in your Mods/Packages folder, and they needed to match in order for it to work. So I was able to fix the cherry and blackberry pie recipes along with the plasma cobbler. It lists plasma as an ingredient but it’s actually called VampireFruit internally. I wasn’t able to get the package file to say Razzleberry Pie, but it at least has the proper ingredients now.
Ah nice! Had no idea about the plasma cobbler :D

Hi there! I had a question regarding your Baker's Station fix and was hoping you could possibly give me some insight as to what I'm doing wrong. Every time I update the RMLS in my ccmerged to fix the cherry recipes, my Baker's Station no longer appears in my game. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Heyo! Not really, I can't think of a reason why editing the ccmerged would stop the Bakers Station showing up entirely... Maybe if there's an error in the XML then the recipes might not load at all but not the whole thing...
Are you sure it's the edit of ccmerged that's the problem? If you want to send me your edit I could have a look but I'd also make sure the bakers station definitely appears in game otherwise and it's not actually a different problem altogether.

sooo I caught that casual mention of a pottery mod... def needing deets🕵🏽‍♂️ are we talking abt a ✧ hobby immersion ✧ kinda thing, like @greenplumbboblover’s ts2 sewing mod? Or more of a straight TS4 conversion situation? Or maybe something ✦ in between ✦?? 🧐
I have a draft post in the works to give some more info on how it's going, but in short it's more of a straight conversion of the pottery activity. I don't want to make it too complicated so it will actually get done 😁
Hope that's not too disappointing!

Mod Update - Buzzler's Scribbling Pad - Fixed, fixed more!
I updated my fix for the scribbling pad mod to make the Write Comic interaction show up properly. Before you couldn't write comics with it and a broken version of it with a missing string showed up under the menu with the other novels (a different problem to the original missing strings issue). So now that's gone away, and you can actually write/continue/scrap comics as you could on the computer :)
And in case you didn't know, to write comics you need either painting or street art skill as well as writing. Never done it before testing the fix for this issue :p
The file has been updated on MTS here.

A heads up to anyone who uses the Tiny UI Fix mod: once you install this update, you need to regenerate the tiny ui fix package, otherwise you will get an error/sim reset when trying to make a flower arrangement. Thank you @twinsimming for figuring this out!
Hopefully everything else will be running smoothly :)
Flower Arranging Mod V2.0 Testing!
Took a little longer than expected after my last post but v2 of the flower arranging mod is here! Because it's been so long since the last released version, as well as when I actually worked on the bulk of this update, I would really appreciate some people testing it out before I upload it officially.
Just FYI, this post isn't rebloggable because I don't want this testing version to be spread around too much, just in case changes need to made for the official v2.0 and it causes confusion.
More information about the update and for those who want to test it below.
Key Features:
Better flower arrangement selection menu. Instead of the insanely large pie menu, you select an arrangement from a dialogue window. You can reorder them, filter by flower, and view either all learnt arrangements or only available ones. You can even see a thumbnail of the arrangement, as well as what flowers are required and what you have already!
Tumblr media
More effects from arrangements. Arrangements now have categories (Basic, Joy, Romance, Wedding, Funeral, Insult) and sims will react differently to them (new moodlets) depending on the type and their personality.
Scenting arrangements. If you figure out the requirements, sims can change the properties of arrangements to make them be fresher for longer, change their category, or provide life-giving/deathly effects!
Skill Journal Additions. You can track your stats, and complete two skill challenges for flower arranging perks.
Tumblr media
Things that are not there (not that important, skip paragraph if you don't care :p):
Like I mentioned in my last post about it, in order to get this update out of WIP purgatory I had to not get caught up in too many features big or small. This includes having an autonomous version of the interaction, and some things that don't work quite as polished as I'd like. I've also had a few comments/messages on things like selling the arrangements in a business situation, and an issue with the arrangement ending up in a family inventory, as well as other random things - these are things I'd like to look into but it probably won't be for a while. I do plan on going through the MTS comments, and any messages people have sent me with issues/ideas so I can make a list and address them when I work on this mod further. If you have already messaged or commented about something, please feel free to do so again to make sure I don't miss it. Also custom dreams and self employed career - I started working on both these things and they would be so cool but that's like v3.0 so...
Info for Testers:
Because it's a big update, I recommend testers make a backup of your save just in case there's an issue, particularly with replacing an older version of the mod and even more so if you don't have nraas error trap. And make sure to delete your scriptCache!
I didn't come across any big problems, but I also didn't have a very established flower arranging situation going on. If you do, it would actually be helpful to know your experience with arrangements made pre-update and anything else that might be affected.
Finally, I don't want to spoil anything for people who want to explore the special scented arrangements feature organically which is why I didn't go into detail about it, but if you want to just be told how everything works so you can test it more directly, let me know.
Testing version of flower arranging 2.0 here (SFS)
Thank you!

Hi! I have flower arranging and knitting and seem to be having a similar problem with both. The flower arranging mod does not let me create arrangements, no matter how high the skill level. I can only stock and open the inventory for the table. The knitting mod also does not show me any of the objects to knit. I'm figuring that I must have something wrong in my mods folder to cause this effect to both mods. I think one time I edited the knitting XML file to try to fix but it didn't help. Thanks!
Heyo,
If you have Eca's prank calls mod, it could be that. The latest version on MTS seems to have an issue which affects the flower arranging mod and possibly the knitting mod for the same reasons.
They made a fix for people who had issues with infinite loading, which you can find in the comments of the mod, and this version resolves the problem that affected my mod(s).
If you had an error from nraas traveler when loading the save, it's probably this issue.
Hope this helps!

4to3 GUA's Dragon-Boat Festival Table & Chair
On a whim decided to convert some objects, and found this set which I really liked the table and chairs from.
I planned to convert the teapot and cup too, but I would want them to be recolourable and didn't have the motivation to deal with that so it's just the table and chair for now...
More info, pics and download below
Table:
962 polys for both LODs
Recolourable, 1 channel
Price - 275
Chair:
1492 polys for both LODs (high-ish)

Found this in my simblr cc upload drafts, not sure why I never finished uploading it :p
So reblogging just to say that this can be downloaded from SFS or simblr.cc now, download links updated above :)
Nothing new, so if you already have it installed you can ignore this entirely!
Don't Bee Stupid - stay in your bee hat please
Tumblr media
I found it really annoying when my sim is tending her bees and she keeps changing in and out of the bee hat at the beeginning and end of each interaction. Stacking up interactions on just 2 boxes is already 8 lots of switching in and out of the bee keeping outfit, and so to get this bee out of my bonnet, I decided to edit the interactions to stop this :p
This is a pure script mod, which replaces the 4 beekeeping interactions with custom ones that stop the sim from changing back into the regular outfit at the end. So if you start a set of interactions on the bee box, your sim will change into the hat, and carry on with the interactions until done - no changing out of the hat and back in again every time.
Tumblr media
This does mean that you need to manually change back into everyday clothes afterwards, as the sim will stay in the hat once the interactions are done, but that's a small price to pay.
The rest of the beekeeping functionality should be exactly the same.
The interactions that are replaced:
Smoke Box
Clean Box
Feed Bees
Harvest Honey
So this mod will conflict with any other that replaces any of these.
Also note that ITUN and XML (XMLs should be fine) tuning mods for the original interactions will no longer function, and so if you want these new interactions to have those tuned values, you will need to edit the ITUNs provided in the package.
If there are any issues, please let me know. Also, if you have any suggestions for more tweaks/improvements of the beekeeping interactions, feel free to let me know and I can look into adding them.

Getting back into things & flower arranging mod update
Heyoo,
I thought I would write a little update mainly for my own sake but maybe others are interested in my plans too.
I haven't been doing much playing or modding this past year or so, so I'm kind of out of the loop with the game and my past progress on mod updates.
However, I'm hopefully at a point now where I have some more time to get back into things and try to enjoy sims 3 again, as well as return to my older mods and WIPs.
To start, I NEED to finish Flower Arranging 2.0. It's been SO long since I worked on some (imo very exciting) updates, and I just need to get it done and release it. I ran into the problem of occasionally trying to work on it, but getting overwhelmed with the features I planned and then realising that some are kinda useless anyway so working on them was a waste of time...
So the plan is to finish off and release the original features I was working on, and then I can figure out what other features are actually useful and doable. Because otherwise it will just never happen at all.
Features for Flower Arranging 2.0:
New flower arranging interaction with a dialog/LAYO instead of the pie menu, so you can actually see what the arrangements look like, as well as filter by flower and available arrangements
Improved skill journal, with stats and skill challenges
Arrangements have different styles which give different moodlets when viewed (e.g romantic ones)
Arrangements can be scented with flowers to give special effects, some useful, some deadly.......
Maybe some smaller changes, but if they are holding me back from releasing this version then they might banished to v2.1+
So hopefully this will happen soon and you guys will like the update.
Also if you have any tips & tricks for getting back into the game and being inspired again, let me know cos I need it. I miss sims 3 so bad but idk how to play anymore 😢
ok bye

Hi! I downloaded your Matcha Tea mod and the mortar and pestle pop up in the game but I can't find the tea leaves. I checked the store and they aren't there.
Heyo, do you not have uni life installed? It doesn't look like I thought of this when I uploaded the mod, but the tea ingredient is cloned from the basil from uni life, so it won't show up without it.
I'll try to remember to fix this soon - wow what a great simblreen gift that would be :D
If missing uni life isn't the issue, then I'm not sure what it could be.
