the catalog-name is "King Qing’s Window"
Installation: just put all the files in your packages-folder, the usual way, merging is no problem

Hey Simmers, Rudi has a small fix for you today: it's time for my eleventh mod 🦙
While I built my asian mansion, I stumbled over this pretty cool looking paper window, which just emits no light. For no obvious reason. So I fixed it. With this mod, the asian window (catalog-name: "King Qing’s Window") from the World Adventures Expansion emits a realistic level of light.
How to install
Installation: just put all the files in your packages-folder, the usual way, nothing special required, you can merge them as well
requires the World Adventures Expansion Pack to work
merging is no problem

Get Wild Mod by MathModder (In Progress)
What you need to know:
This mod introduces wild animals into your game map that spawn naturally in beetle spawners. It includes birds, small mammals, amphibians, more insects and reptiles in nature zones. Birds can fly and land in random locations and ground animals can be seen walking around the map.
You can choose ONE from various versions that best suit your world. Select the version that spawns specific animals suitable for your World's location.
Here's a list of potential versions that will be included in the mod:
All Wildlife (City World)*
All Wildlife (Medieval / Country town)**
American Wildlife (City World)*
American Wildlife (Medieval / Country town)**
European Wildlife (City World)*

*Versions for cities will have additional specific effects that help create a more beautiful environment for your city, such as planes in the sky, fireworks, sunshine rays during the day, and sky lanterns for the All Wildlife and Eastern Wildlife version. **Versions for Medieval/Country towns will feature additional specific effects to enhance the beauty of your world, including hot air balloons in the sky, sunshine rays during the day, and more.
These additional effects mentioned above will appear rarely and randomly in your world.
Can I place individual animals in specific locations, such as on rocks or tables?
In a future update after launch, this function will be added, for now they will only spawn where there is a beetle spawner. Ground animals on the ground and birds in the air.
Is the mod heavy to run?
Within the game I am optimizing it so that a small number of animals spawn at the same time and only spawn at a maximum distance of 500 meters from the player's camera.
How many files will there be?
Because there are many animals and specific animations for each one, the files will be heavy, will be a maximum of 2 to 3 files. In tests in my game with 150 other mods from other creators, I didn't see any loss of performance due to the optimization I'm doing within the game.
It is worth mentioning that some files will need to be placed in the Overrides folder and others in the Packages folder, they will all be specified at launch.
Is this mod compatible with other effect mods?
Yes, it will be compatible.
Bugs:
Depending on the location, there may be some bugs such as birds landing in the air or animals walking a little above the ground, this is due to calculation problems on certain game surfaces and physics, whether hills or mountains, but over time I will update and see What can I do to reduce this. In this case I depend on the engine the game has and whether it is possible to correct certain errors.
Release date:
Between January and February 2024 (It is in the testing phase)

Betting Mod
Big thanks to @cheejer for the mod idea!
Make your trips to various town competitions more exciting by placing bets. Sharpen up your sims' gambling skill!
Your sim can make 4 different types of bets at the grocery store. Buy:
Horse Racing Tokens
Star Player Tokens (For Sports Stadium Games)
Bot Competition Tokens
Food Lottery Tickets
Tokens must be used within 5 days after purchase otherwise they will expire.
Who wins:
All sims have a base (5% or 10%) chance of winning.
Chances increase or decrease depending on certain traits or buffs (such as lucky, genius, equestrian, bot-fan, loser, unlucky...).
How to check winnings:
Food lottery tickets will be automatically used after shopping at the supermarket.
Star player tokens can be "redeemed" by watching the sports TV channel on game days after the match has started.
Read the newspaper on weekends (Read/Check Current Events).
Otherwise attend the competitions at the relevant rabbithole.
What's won:
Food lottery winners will receive 10 random ingredients.
Otherwise, the prize is a random amount of money between 100 and 500 simoleons.
Other:
Participating in betting will increase gambling skill if you have the required store content installed. It will also contribute to win and loss statistics.
You can discuss your bets with other sims : Friendly -> Discuss Bets.
If you want to buy tokens from a lotto machine, apply this script: Sims3.Gameplay.Objects.Miscellaneous.PhoebeJaySims.Betting.BettingMachine
Tuning:
Most values can be tuned in the XML including win chances and prize amounts.

2024 Update!
Hello all, it's me again with this ghost mod. Never thought I'd be updating this but here we go:
I finally found a solution to the non-shuffling issue (see 'Known Issues' section in the original post): and that is pretty much the only thing that has been rectified in this mini-update, no new musics added.
For those of you who had downloaded the previous version and wish to install this update, you may either
(a) add in the needed files for the music to shuffle properly by manually importing them using S3PE following the instructions included, or
(b) re-download the updated package file (~400MB) and replace the older version with it.

Idle reducer and/or phone idle killer

These are two little mods that change the tuning of the idles in the game.
Idle reducer The Idle reducer halves the chance of an Idle animation happening. Good for people who likes the Idles, but think they are to much sometimes.
The reducer changes the IdleManager XML and conflicts with other mods that changes the exact XML.
Smartphone idle killer The phone idles are one of the many Idles EA disabled by default by one of the updates for some reason. The Gameplaycore mod from Simler90 brings all these Idles back (And ofcourse the phone idle too).
The phone idle killer is here relevant for people who have Sim Simler90's Core mod or any other mod that reenables these disabled idle animations.
The idle killer changes the Idles XML and conflicts with other mods that changes the exact XML.

Hey Simmers, Rudi has a big mod-achievement for you today: it's time for my tenth and biggest mod yet
Just recently I play tested my new awesome house, that's cramped up with clutter and plants all the way up to the roof, just to realize, that my Sims are walking in the garden to interact with each other, cause many of the spaces are too tight. But no more! With this mod, those issues will forever be a sorrow of the past.
Explanation - how the mod works This mod reduces the space that sims need for doing things, similar to my other mods. It does this by overwriting the jig size for each sim interaction. A jig is an invisible object that’s auto placed on the ground, while e.g. two sims are talking to each other. Other sims will walk around the other sims talking, cause the jig (placed under the sims talking) obstructs the routing-way for other sims. By default all jigs are quite big, in most cases even way bigger than they need to be. But if you reduce the jig size by a mod, than those interactions are possible even in tiny over-cluttered rooms.
Now these mods do the same for all sim interactions.
How to install
Installation: just put all the files in your packages-folder, the usual way, nothing special required, you can merge them as well

if you don't have the expansion pack, it's just doing nothing, but it won't cause any other problems

The chair is compatible with the Ambitions Styling Career; you can fulfil hairstyling jobs (even without going to CAS) and gain XP.

Recommended: Consort’s Age Mod. Also, if you have FloTheory’s Just Sit Mod, sims may autonomously relax in hairdresser chairs. Keep an eye out and your hairdresser can shoo them off the seat.

I was eating one of my absolute favorite foods, Chicken Alfredo the other night, when the realization that I know how to make custom recipes sunk in, and I had a new idea. And that idea turned into this!! Here are 3 new Fettuccine Alfredo Recipes for the Sims 3!!!!
The Recipe Details:
These all require Level 4 Cooking Skill and can be served during Lunch and Dinner.
Fettuccine Alfredo: Requires Garlic, Butter, and Parmesan Cheese
Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo: Requires Shrimp, Garlic, and Parmesan Cheese.
Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo: Requires Chicken Breast, Garlic, and Parmesan Cheese.
Please Note: The Butter, Parmesan Cheese, Chicken Breast, and Shrimp ingredients come from various cooking mods, but because all 3 of the recipes have Garlic, a Base Game included ingredient, they are also Base Game Compatible and you don’t need to download the mods if you don’t want to. However, if you want the custom ingredients, they are listed below:

Insane trait name change - default replacement

Maybe it’s because I’m not a native speaker, but the ‘Insane’ trait name has always seemed so... needlessly rude to me? That’s why I changed it to ‘Zany’ which, in my opinion, is still fitting for the trait and blends in well with the more light-hearted tone of the game. Now sims with this trait will only be called ‘insane’ during rude interactions when the other sim is deliberately insulting them. In every other instance they will be called ‘zany’.

The mod is completely standalone and overwrites only a few text strings, and therefore it should not conflict with any other mod that doesn’t replace these exact text strings. But if you run into any issues, please let me know.
