It's been awhile
Also I haven't updated on a couple years.
MURDER U IS STILL ON GOING.
I just haven't had the time or energon to update. I will though. Sooner than later. I need to scan my 24 Hour Comics to get them up as well.
It's not as fun making MU because I can't get the website to be the way I want it for the maximum effect that amplifies the story.
But I'll keep at it. I'll just do it on my terms and around smaller other things.

I don't like Tumblr anymore. It's too much work. I don't mind Twitter and The Facebook though I am kind of embarrassed that I always seem to be on the facebook, mindlessly scrolling because I'm bored and just don't feel like drawring.
I LOVE MU to pieces, it's my favorite thing I've created, but I don't like being locked down to just 1 story at a time. Also, after work, I'm just tired
Lately I've just been just tired. So fucking sick of everything. I just need a break. I need everything to stop a smidge so I can catch up.
I'm just tired.

As Much as I Love Making Comics, I'm Just Not a Fan of Showing My Work.
I've got a close to a hundred pages of Murder U done and have two 24 Hour Comics I can upload, but I really just don't think of it. I LOVE having a Webcomic but I really like the process of working on it more than trying to build a website that looks and funktions the way I want it too, and don't care if anybody reads it. But thank you to those who do, and please keep reading.
I'll get around to uploading. I would love to make money off of it, but I've got other things that need to come first right now.
I will update a shit load of stuff soon.

A new novel series about Kyoshi has been announced! The first book in the “epic YA saga”, The Rise of Kyoshi, is hitting shelves in July 2019!!
This is a big surprise and a very welcome one at that! The author is F.C. Yee with Mike DiMartino consulting. The series will be two books long, and cover, as the title suggests, the rise of the Earth Kingdom Avatar we all know and love, with this synopsis to go on so far:
“The first of two novels based on Kyoshi, The Rise of Kyoshi maps her journey from a girl of humble origins to the merciless pursuer of justice who is still feared and admired centuries after she became the Avatar.”
The publisher for the books had this to say:
“Bringing Kyoshi’s previously untold story to life in original novels will be a major pop culture event, not only for fans of the show, but also for readers hungry for a new epic YA saga. The Rise of Kyoshi has all the hallmarks of what YA readers love — bold storytelling set in a rich landscape with a strong heroine at the forefront!”
Kyoshi was recently revealed to have “by all accounts loved men and women”– that is, she was what we would likely consider bisexual– so it will be interesting to see if that will show up in these books. And there’s just so much we don’t know about her life growing up, the people around her (meeting her Team Avatar is an extremely exciting prospect), and what her corner of the Earth Kingdom was like before her legendary exploits, about 380 years before Korra arrived in Republic City. For reference that would be approximately equivalent to 1500s China, but Kyoshi herself and the culture of Kyoshi Island take more inspiration from Japan, so it will be very interesting to see how the worldbuilding takes shape. Overall there’s a lot to look forward to here!
This is a really cool development for the franchise and will hopefully open up the avenue for more books about different time periods and characters from the world of Avatar, something we’ve been asking for for a long time!
The Rise of Kyoshi is 336 pages long, it’s coming out on July 16th 2019, and it can be preordered here.

Just Added Ads to My Webcomic Website Murder U.
Supposedly I need a minimum amount of traffic to get any and start to make money, so here's hoping traffic picks up again! http://murderuniversity.com/
It’s been a while since I’ve had time to actually sit with it and do some real work on it. It feels good to be producing myself again. Like my old pal Dominic always says, Living the Life One Nightmare at a Time! lol
I’ve uploaded my second ever 24 hour comic and am starting to reformat my first ever 24 hour comic, which is going slower since I haven’t used Photoshop in a long while and have to re-figure out how everything is done on this one. I’m not sure if I should upload that Zine I did for The Coffee Girl. I love it and she is a sweetheart, and just a very lovely human being, but I also want to keep it mine; I know I uploaded it here, but this seems like it’s a little different, plus now that I”m thinking about it, it would make more sense to make it more mine if it were on my Murder U site right along with the rest of my art. I’ll just sit on it, Potsie.
I’m excited to be finally able to supplement my income with my art again as ,long as I can keep traffic up. I might have to get out there and hustle hustle hustle! Maybe I”ll have to hit conventions and such. lol NOT before I get the kind of store on Murder U murderuniversity.com that will print stickers and t-shirts, and sweater vests, etc. for me to sell on Murder U murderuniversity.com.
We’ll see. But here’s hoping!!

Murder U is Up and Running Again.
Update has updated.
I figured since the site was down so long after it got hacked that it would be smarter to start over and repost every page from scratch.
I was also working on a buffer but got sidetracked when I joined another production that I've since dropped out of after piles of work. That's okay. I wish them luck and hope to GOD they make it work.
Also, I've been working on re-drawing the first seven pages in my art style to make MU more complete, though I created it completely from concept to design, as well as wrote it all and thumb nailed this story complete in a thumb nail book that was used to to do the final art for every page including the first seven, I don't see a reason to honour my Honey Pie with those pages anymore since that part of my life is over and she really just copied my art in her style, but bigger and cleaner, like if she re-wrote a story I wrote word for word/punctuation mark for punctuation mark in her handwriting.
New pages are coming and I'm really excited about that.
Also, I'm working on other ideas to have uploaded on other parts of the site as well as am formatting my 24 Hour Comics to be posted as well.
There will be piles more to read soon along with the main MU story!!

Slowly rebuilding the site. Gonna take the long weekend to start. Hopefully I'll have an easier time this time around after the nightmare that was the last time.

So my Murder U was hacked and has files with malware on it, so they shut it down for me. I've spoken to them and now know that I've got to read the list of infected files they gave me and delete them manually. Looks like I've got my Sunday planned...

Murder U has Updated.
http://murderuniversity.com/ I think it’s been at least a year since the last time I was able to update a page. I was SO sick last year. I went to the hospital for my allergies and eczema 3 times; August Long Weekend, September, then again in November, I think it was; might have been October. The eczema on my hands was so bad that I couldn’t hold a pencil sometimes. The creases in all of my knuckles split open and bled all over the place, then I lost the creases completely for a while, and my hands would just split open and bleed everywhere. I haven’t been able to update but I’ve been healthy for the past little while so here’s hoping I can make weekly updates. Here’s hopibng I get the forum up and the store up too!
I’m really looking forword to regular updates.

I Gotta Be Honest. One Of The Reasons I Have SO Much Trouble Updating is Working On This Particular Story Is It Really Hurts.
When I came up with MU all those years ago, it was with the notion that my Honey Pie was going to do the final art from my little Thumbnail Book. I did over 80 pages for her to do as I wrote; the first 7 pages are her art from my thumbnails and story, then the rest is all me.
It just drags up all of these feelings and memories, mostily of the good times but some of the bad times as well. It takes me right back to being there and it just fucking hurts.
I have been very allergy sick over this past year, in and out of the hospital a coupla times, and I have been fighting the software the site uses to try to get it set up the way I want it (right now it’s like the second Deathstar; operational but still under construction.) and yeah, I’ve got a huge buffer of art where I’ve got to just put the dialogue in, but it’s very hard to open it all up and work on it because it opens it all up when I work on it.
Yes I cry like a little girl everytime I open MU. Yes I know I’m a giant pussy.
I don’t care.
What I do care about is there’s no real update schedule aside from Sundays at noon when I’m supposed to have the new pages up. I realize probably nobody reads Murder U but I”m still failing the ones who have and myself.
I’m trying. But it’s hard.
That’s what she said.

Man I love this!! M'all time fave animated movie.
New page soon.
Akira Production Report (1988) / Line Tests / 24fps
Amazing line tests from the ‘Akira Production Report’ documentary. 30 years on, Akira is still the only hand-animated feature film to adopt such a high frame rate.

Looks like the art show at West End Comics was a big success for everybody, including me. Apparently I got a lot of positive feedback on this piece.

Again Trying to Set Up the New Murder U Website Is LIke Pulling Teeth.
I’m having such a hard time trying to figure out how to get ANYTHING set up. All these stupid Plugins and whatnot just seem impossible to figure out. They’re so counter intuitive. They don’t let you do what you want to do. It’s like they’re set up for people who know how to use computers but don’t know what they want. I can barely use computers but I DO know exactly what I want.
Spent the night trying to figure out how to get a Forum set up with Doctor Who playing on Netflix in the background. Yes we still get it in Canada, I’m guessing on account of CBC co-produced the 2005 serieses with the BBC. FUCKING hell do I LOVE Doctor Who now. It’s one of my favorite shows now ahead of Star Trek and right behind Star Wars. The Doctor gave me something to watch and take a breather on when I got to frustrated.
I don’t get why it’s so fucking difficult to get shit set up with these facacta plugins. If I’m having this much trouble with a forum, I can’t imagine how much trouble I’m going to have getting the store set up. I never had ANY Idea it was going to be this difficult getting a webcomics site set up. It’s almost not worth it.
But at least I’ve got my comic out there. At least I can make it. The more I waste time on all of this part of the comic, the more I can’t draw it and make it. Thanks god the main story has been written for years now. Even without all of my notes, I can still put it aside while I fight with BlueHost and WordPress trying to get my shit figured, then jump right back in where I left off and not have to get back in the groove or figure out what I was trying to say, and so on.
Hopefully it won’t take too much longer to get shit in order and have a complete webcomic site for everybody that I can pump out there and start to make a few shekels off of.
Also, new Murder U updates will be coming soon.
Sleepy time. Time for bed.
