I was hunting for presents with Nt a few days back, and we happened to talk about DBH on our way back. It was fun and all, and then we began to discuss android costs and mass production, and this was the ending:

Me: ...either way, I don’t think we’ll still be alive when androids finally come out.

Nt: Maybe they can invent efficient brain data extraction by that point, who knows.

Me: Oh, imagine if they could download that data into androids?

Nt: ...and then sell them? I had a lot to think about at home.

I’m sorry if you’ve answered this but I was wondering about the numerical system for your comics? Why aren’t they consecutive or start at 1 then like 2,3,4 ? Of course they are yours so you can number them however you want! I was just curious

Initially, there were supposed to be 4 comics united by the same plot - started with ‘elan’, followed by ‘lev low’ and then two other comics. However, an independent image squeezed its way in while I was working on part 3, and I realized I wanted it to be connected to everything else as well. Since it was a fragment of Lance’s and Keith’s distant future, it couldn’t be labeled part 5, so I named it ‘part 56′ instead (according to my calculations it would take approximately as many comic parts to get to that point), and left it hanging.

Days later I came up with the ‘what are you staring at‘ comic, and this system became both very convenient and unavoidable.

Yeah so uh I’m liking this series thing ya got goin on but part 56,,, concerns me. My heart needs a break from angst and I cannot get invested in this if someone dies so uh do you have plans to kill a character off and/or if you don’t can you promise that you won’t I need a lifetime guarantee season 7 destroyed me

I’m definitely not killing Lance or Keith in this series, but I’m planning to throw everything I can at them to make them bond as strongly as it is possible. Eventually that might lead to someone else’s death or even deaths of many (like Lance’s entire family back in lev low and part 3 that hopefully is to come).

Here’s the masterpost I promised to some people a few days ago. Posting it later than intended, I know, but vld se7 aired right after I got home… and we all know how that went.

Anyway, let’s get down to it. As I’ve already mentioned somewhere, all Klance comics or drawings I’ve come up with so far are parts of the same story. The numbers below each of them are more of a rough timeline than actual story parts.

“What are you looking at” (-64) is the first comic in the line so far.

“The Healing Embrace” (-26) comes next, much later.

“elan” (1) happens a long time after that.

“lev low” (2) follows “elan” immediately.

“Fingerguns” is an addition to “lev low”, shows the training session Keith and Lance had right after that conversation.

“You died” comic is not yet attached to a particular time point, but it happens nonetheless. Somewhere.

“Good night, man” (56) is currently the last thing I’ve contributed.

hey i saw your most recent comic and it said 63/? at the bottom and so I'm wondering if you have a masterpost or anything for the series cuz i'm really confused and I don't know where to start

I’ll make one as soon as I come back home, anon (that’ll be this Thursday). Those numbers below the comics are more of a rough timeline than actual parts (as long as I don’t draw them all… but knowing me, I might).

For now I can say that “what are you looking at” (-64) comes first, a long while later happens “elan” (1), immediately followed by “lev low” (2). At one point in “lev low” (easy to figure out which exactly) happens the fingerguns comic. The “good night, man” (56) pic is the last one in the row so far.
