it's going to be klance in the end but it's mostly about lance (i hate the farmer ending for him but i decided to be canon compliant)

with the announcement of sbr's anime i'm yet again thinking about my shitty 2+ year old gyjo au which is very wonderous to me and me only...... lmao

this is a redraw of a drawing from jan 2023 - original + au yap under the cut!

the original and the new one that matches its color palette for better comparison:-)

so this au started because in late 2022 i was a big fan of kim dracula's cover of paparazzi. the concept of paparazzi mixed with kim drac's more dark vocals made me want to write a somewhat fucked up (like dead dove do not eat type deal) fic about gyjo (just because i happened to be reading sbr at the time).

in this au (which takes place in the late 90s, no stands/powers), they're both college students. gyro is a premed student and johnny is a vet student, johnny being an incoming freshman and gyro being a junior. they first meet at orientation when johnny is left behind by his unwilling roommate, diego. (aka, this scene i drew wasn't even canon to the story lmfaooo) basically johnny is mentally ill and unstable (this is so ooc but honestly i only made him that way because i headcanoned him as bipolar (because i'm bipolar) and i took it several steps further) and has bad social anxiety and ended up having a panic attack, to which gyro this reliable upperclassman helps him out.

then yada yada johnny becomes obsessed with him and starts following him around under the guise of "i just want to find the right time to thank him for how he helped me" and that just spirals into taking pictures, watching him while he sleeps, and eventually, kidnapping.

basically tldr i find this au of mine incredibly cringe and INCREDIBLY ooc but it still (somehow) holds a small little cobwebbed corner of my heart

ps if anyone is reading this and would be interested if i started commissions, i should have my price sheet up within the next week and will be open for business as soon as that's up, so stick around and watch out!
