Tired of people hearing my symptoms of autism and equating EVERYTHING to “NORMAL” people things. Like, NO CASSI, Losing your speech after a meltdown because it was too loud is not the same as you getting mad at a driver on the street and calming down after they leave!!!

I really hate when people do that shit!! It’s so annoying, dude. Like okay, You don’t think i have autism. BUT BY YOU demeaning every Symptoms if autism in The DSM-5, You Are probably demeaning a lot of other autistic people. People with higher AND lower Support Needs. IT’S A FUCKING SPECTRUM. IT’S NOT LINEAR. Do. Not. Make it. Linear.

Serious question and im sorry if it’s a stupid one, I wanted feedback not from google n people who weren’t HOH.

If you have FND or Auditory processing disorder, would that count you as hard of hearing? Especially if you have trouble distinguishing sounds?

I’m not sure if being hard of hearing is only “available “ to those who have a hearing disorder like.. auditory neuropathy or smth ?

I’m quite scared to go back to school tomorrow.. My tics have been more noticeable lately and last time they were like this, a classmate made fun of me and tried to armchair diagnose me 😭 I ignore them but it doesn’t mean it didn’t hurt a lil. Especially since I go to a Special education school!!! -???

(Does anyone have tips on how to manage anxiety and tics? I can’t suppress them forever and I’m gonna work in a quiet place for a job starting next week ): ) -???
