Soulmate AU where words that other people think about you appear on your skin, but over time they disappear. And only the words of the person destined for you remain.

Ivo walked around with bullying and insults all over his body all his life. First in the orphanage from children who considered him strange, not like everyone else, a freak who would never be taken away. Then - at school and university, from classmates to teachers who envied and were surprised by such intelligence and such anger. Sometimes these words were diluted with small compliments, but they were so rare and disappeared so quickly that Robotnik did not even have time to feel a drop of warmth from them.

It got worse in the military. Angry words practically never left the skin, constantly changing. And Ivo hit back, laughing at how primitive they were. He knew that the words of his soulmate were capable of covering the skin from them, but he did not believe that she existed at all.

And then one day, words of admiration appeared on his skin. The Doctor would not pay attention to them, you never know what kind of naive intern read his articles, but there were more of them. At first they appeared once in a while, and then almost every day. Ivo feels dissonance, but continues to ignore them. They will disappear, all this slightly good will go away and will be replaced by dirt again. But one day, the man notices that one of the very first good phrases has not yet disappeared and, intrigued, he decides to more carefully examine his entire body. Until he discovers that most of the skin of his chest and back is covered in words of adoration and love.

And when, after 8 months of loneliness, he returns to earth and hears the words "I knew you would come back, Doctor", and just a second later, on the inside of his shoulder, the phrase "I missed you, Doctor" appears, Robotnik allows himself to smile, thinking out loud "Me too, Stone".

Now in the fandom of Good Omens, and others where there is NG, not very good times. And I want to say a few words. Perhaps after that someone will consider me an enemy, haha.

But, every time I see a scream that the series should be closed / canceled, I watch and remember other people. Yes, I absolutely understand why they say this and I am just as upset and disappointed with all the news, but remember ... Remember that not one person, but hundreds or even thousands work on any series or film. NG is just one of. Yes, he wrote the script/produced. But remember that the series also consists of a cast of actors, a film crew, cameramen, editors, costume designers, composers, post production team, advertisers and a huge number of other wonderful people. Some of them just worked, some of them burned with this project, be proud of it and want to put it in their resume or portfolio. And for them, this news is also heavy. The closure of the series can hit them even harder than the fans. They are not to blame for other people's mistakes. It's not their fault that someone turned out to be so bad. They don't deserve to be closed because of someone.

Remember that Good Omens are also the memory of Terry. And those characters are his, like NG. And Terry doesn't deserve it to end like this.

Remember other people who shouldn't suffer because of those who acted terriblely.
