Change Paradigme

The world always needs change and.. it is always changing. We would like it to happen faster, but the most important thing is that human societies always strive for the better. Once, slavery was abolished with resistance from some individuals, a few centuries later, equal rights for women and men were "unthinkable" for many (e.g. the right to vote or equal pay for work), and today another important change is happening faster and faster in what is supposedly impossible to change, and this clip is about it.

The Balladyna and Gotard project is a kind of decree about what is already happening. The message is very positive because this is the only way we can truly change the world; looking to the future positively with optimism and noticing all the changes that have already been initiated.

Soon it will be "Valentine's Day"... Do you know that St. Valentine doesn't have much to do with lovers?

He is the medieval patron saint of the sick, especially lepers (today the disease is a relic but for centuries it raged in European cities and beyond). As the patron saint of the sick, he is the patron saint of love, but understood broadly as love for one's neighbor.

Love between two people is beautiful, but it would be nice to make this occasion also about love for one's neighbor and even for all beings who feel the way we do. This is my little postulate for today ;)

the unique atmosphere of Japanese cities.

Today, in the era of the development of gigantic cities and the renewed race for the tallest building in the world or the most dazzling city center at night, Japanese cities still remain unique and fascinating for many with their unique atmosphere...

Tokyo with its narrow streets full of buildings of different heights and countless neon signs is probably the most recognizable example of the urban climate in this country, but it is worth remembering that in Japan itself, cities have a different character - from the noisy and impressive Tokyo, through Osaka, which combines what is new and old, Kyoto captivating with a large complex of priceless monuments and nature, to small towns that do not resemble these metropolises like Shirakawa.

In Tokyo itself and in most Japanese cities, next to the characteristic neon signs, we can also find a lot of old wooden city houses called Machiya. Looking at them, you can imagine what most of the urban buildings in this country looked like until the last war.

Poznań - a city of interesting experiences.

One of the largest and most interesting cities in Poland, with origins dating back to at least the 10th century, it was one of the country's first capitals. The well-preserved buildings of the old town and the exceptionally interesting architecture from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries are the city's main assets. The oldest point of the city is Ostrów Island with a Gothic cathedral and the nearby district of Śródka, which was once a separate city.

We return to the city of Łódź. This is a not-so-well-known historical gem of the European age of inventions (the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, the so-called belle époque). I invite you to a crazy walk around the city with timelapse shots, a short trip to this city in the heart of Europe, in Poland.

A walk through a cool city

Łódź is a city that developed the fastest in Europe at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. From a small wooden settlement it turned into a world-famous center of the clothing industry, famous for its record-breakingly large factories and record-breaking pace of urban development. Rows of decorated Art Nouveau and neo-historical tenement houses were built in the middle of nowhere, taking the place of villages. The peculiarity of the city was its development mainly along one very long street, the former route to the old town of Piotrków Trybunalski. Today, the main promenade of the city is this former route, i.e. the current Piotrkowska Street. It is the longest promenade in Europe (not in Edinburgh but here) measuring 4 km, and the entire street is 7 km long. To this day, Łódź, the former city of inventions and progress (electric trams first appeared in Poland here, and the largest factory in Europe powered by a steam engine and many others were located here) is distinguished by its "New York" layout of streets in equal cross streets, which is not common on the "old continent". I have always been fascinated by the "belle epoque", a period in which humanity invented a lot of things, dreaming of a world similar to the one we already know from our reality. No wonder that that era still delights today, causing trends such as steampunk. It is worth coming here to feel this atmosphere.

Who are we?

I would like to fly up and look at everything serenely like them :) Seagulls inspire and make me laugh and the sea itself has something about it that I can't stop looking at the horizon… It's a bit like looking at the stars, you look even though you don't know why and you feel an indefinable longing… For what? Maybe it's the search for the answer to what we long for deep down that pushes us to discover new things, to travel and to the fascination that we are lucky to experience.

Russia is committing barbarity people and animals as well. They are losing their families, homes and lives in a short, senseless war. What can we do? Every gesture, even a small one, saves lives, including those of dogs and cats.
