another naruto note, the fanfics have convinced me that head canon for Ino's mom was an oiran valid. especially pre-shippuden Ino. i refuse to accept any other opinions in regards to this matter

lowkey really wish the characters kept some of that edgier style from the early stages of the series.

i've been recently trying my hand at shippuden era redesign for ino, but something didn't sit with me quite right. i went back and redesigned her with inspo from some of the earlier episodes and it was much fun.

show later overall improved quality and consistency of the style, but from then onwards a lot of the character design felt like it had less character?¿

the edge of the designs from the early series is something that i wish stuck through the rest of the story. i feel like overtime the character designs became less out there and honestly i think I miss it

I am currently working on another fanfic (rough draft layout stage). it is an AU hurt/comfort fanfic but i cannot decide for the life of me it should end with hurt or comfort. idk if i want characters and readers to suffer or let them have a happy ending.

this is so real! i think it is nice when ship makes sense, its cool, but sometimes i just want to indulge and i want it to be fun. how much fun can really you have unless you have a nonsensical couple??

“ships should at least make sense.” no. ships can make sense, sure. but they’re just fictional characters we play with for fun. they’re fantasies, not a fucking thesis paper. so no, they don’t always have to make sense. they just have to make you happy (or horny).

let people enjoy (fictional) things however they want to enjoy.

it was my own fault that i decided to start digging if I could find my old fanfic account via one of my fandom searches, but I did not expect to find myself on the 4th page when looking for tags about my favourite character. i still have not re-read my old stuff. i am exited and terrified. i looked and half the stuff and had no idea i wrote it.
