Been really enjoying X-Men 97` and especially Morph

I had watched the original animated series in preperation for it, and man I'm so happy about them bringing Morph into the cast properly

The @twicezinebnha zine mods have sadly decided not to go ahead with the zine so you guys get to see my unfinished (whoops) comic a little early! :))) It got put on the back burner amongst university work and I don’t know when I’ll have time to finish it so enjoy!

The vague plot is that Hawks chooses to knock out and save Twice (against his wishes) rather than kill him. He abandons the fight with the heroes in order to do this but still ends up losing his wings in a fight later. The League also end up turning themselves in after they realise Twice is safe and their various heroes convince them to give them their trust and help them rebuild hero society slowly and carefully rather than burning it to ashes in revenge. I had a wonderful writer also writing a piece to go alongside this- @mersdirty on Twitter! :))

I was just thinking some thoughts when a particular thought just came to me.

In-ho's apartment (what little we see of it) seems very, well, normal. Like, this guy won the prize, and maybe he spent a good deal of it, but he also became the Front Man, so I assume he'd be getting quite a bit of money there. And we know he stopped living in said apartment for three years after Gi-hun's win, but that still leaves all the time he lived there between when he won and currently.

I'm curious as to why he has such a simple apartment. Is it because he doesn't spend much time there in general? But then why get the fish? Is it because he wants to lay low? Possibly. Living in a super rich looking place would have probably drawn attention from Jun-ho. So why not have a second place? If he does, then again, bringing the fish to that apartment if he spends so little time there seems odd. Could it be he also feels a little guilty about using the blood money? Maybe a stretch, but maybe not. I mean, despite what some people say, he does have emotions. Like, he made sure not to kill Jun-ho when he shot him, and made sure he was rescued by that "fisherman" and brought to the hospital. When he goes back to get that bullet out of himself in his bathroom, he sees Jun-ho in the mirror. I'm pretty sure that shows regret/guilt. And obviously he shows quite a bit of emotion throughout the games in Season 2 and with Gi-hun, and his eyes looked watery when he talked to him over the walkie. All of that to say, odd as it is, I could see him feeling some small amount of guilt over using the money he gains through the games. It would be another mirror to Gi-hun, after all.

However, that's just speculation. I'm curious if anyone else has thoughts about this, though.

I’m glad you are showing appreciation to the intro bc it is everything. Josha’s name appear right when the golden strands appear (not just alluding to veins of gold but also subtly implying that Rand is the actual main character), the tension as the first strand stretches out implying not only that saidar and saidin are both sides of the one power but also the tension brewing in the world with the last battle approaching. I really love the intro so much and all of the symbolism of packed into it. I really wish it could have been in every episode and I would have loved if the tapestry could have evolved with each passing season.
