food packets, scraps etc.

i get bored easily when cleaning, so i like to split things up by picking up colour-coded things too! this has helped me the most when keeping a tidy space.

It's crucial to make others feel heard, even when you might not share their viewpoint. Never cut someone off on purpose whilst they're speaking, it can really hurt someones feelings. if you accidentally cut someone off, always apologize and let them finish speaking once you've said your point.
O3 πœ—πœš π“ˆ’ ݁ β‚Š learn how to say no.
i know it's hard not to be a people-pleaser, but learning to say no to things that don't align with you is so important. It can help you avoid uncomfortable, awkward, and even risky situations. Setting boundaries is hard but being taken advantage of is harder.
O4 πœ—πœš π“ˆ’ ݁ β‚Š nourish yourself.
Make it a habit to eat meals regularly. Reduce your sugar intake. Embrace healthier food choices. Establish a skincare routine. Treat yourself to a shower after a long day. Stay hydrated. this is super cliche, i know. but it truly has a significant impact. Picture this -> you're sitting for a math exam, and you glance over at your desk partner's work, only to see completely different answers. You've always admired this person, so you quickly assume your answers must be wrong and decide to change them to match theirs. When the results come back, you discover that your original answers were spot on, but now you've failed because you chose to follow someone else instead of trusting your gut. Just because others are taking a different path doesn't mean it's the right one for you, or that the other person is necessarily "correct". It's important to remember that comparing ourselves to others can lead to unnecessary stress and self-doubt. Stay true to yourself and your own journey!

talking ill about others is possibly the most unattractive thing you could possibly do. Afterall, what goes around comes around, and it will come to bite you back.

smile at strangers, say hi to people you know in the halls. engage in light conversations and share compliments with those around you. Being recognized as "the friendly one" can lead to countless opportunities for friendships and relationships. Step out of your comfort zone a bit! to improve physical appearance , health and hygiene are a must.
water β™‘
water. please , for the love of god , drink water. get up rn and go drink some water. water does so much , want clear skin? water. want to lose weight? water. want to feel more refreshed? water. ITS SO HELPFUL!! you really don't want to be dehydrated, it has so many negative effects.
i would aim for around 2 liters (8 full glasses) a day , but you can slowly increase your water intake over the span of a few weeks if you're not ready for that. if you like me and forget to drink , set alarms or reminders for when you need to.
apple cider vinegar β™‘
okay , yes, it tastes gross, but it's so good for your PH!! just drink 2 teaspoons everyday (dilute with water first) , trust me it will make your body sweat and kitty smell (and taste) soo much better!! it can also help u lose weight , decrease waist size and is so good for your skin!!
easy oral hygiene β™‘
brush your teeth at least 3 times a day. i normally opt for brushing my teeth twice in a row morning and night , and once during the day (yes , even if i'm at school). also , don't forget to floss!! most importantly u wanna b scraping/brushing your tongue, along with brushing your gums and the roof of your mouth!! If you're not brushing regularly and not brushing your tongue, your breath is gonna stink.
another tip - mints > gum. no matter how minty your gum is , if you're chewing it all day it's gonna make your breath smell bad. a sugar-free mint that specialises in good breath every morning helps so much for me.
shower/bath care β™‘
please wash behind your ears and your belly button. every part of your body should be clean!!! you don't want build-up.
exfoliate before and after u shave. this will leave u feeling SO smooth and helps avoid razor bumps , if you have sensitive skin (like me) it can help avoid irritation (i get SO itchy and my skin gets covered in red bumps if i don't exfoliate when shaving). personally, i don't suffer from oily skin , but if u do, exfoliating afterwards helps remove any dirt from clogged pores and any residue build-up!
use different clothes depending on what part of your body you're cleaning!! use a softer cloth for your face and kitty , and use regular clothes for the main part of your body and bum. NEVER wash your face in the shower! you want your face to have its own personal time for you to clean it so you can really focus on it. also , hot water from the shower can damage your skin and make it dry. your shower head also probably has a lot of bacteria hiding in it, so please wash your face separately after your shower.

never go to the bathroom with your phone. It's gross , wastes time , and spreads germs.
are you a forgetful person? set alarms and reminders for things you need to do (drinking water , homework , showering, etc)
be kind! always say hi to people you know and smile at strangers. don't be afraid to compliment people too!!
cant be bothered exercising? try dancing instead. this could be learning a new dance , a Kpop choreography , literally anything!
put screen-time on your phone/devices. maybe start off with 10pm - 7am being the time that you shouldn't be on any devices, and then gradually increase it. it will help you be more productive and sleep better.
if you have a sweet tooth like me but are still trying to be healthy , try starting off the day with something sweet! fruits and oats , honey and porridge , french toast , pancakes , etc.
try cooking/baking/making something new each week. i allocate a Sunday each week to looking through a recipe book , walking down to a grocery store , coming back and baking something! cooking is a very helpful skill.
double cleanse your face every morning and night. even if you don't wear makeup , it helps get rid of any excess dirt and leaves your face fresh and clean!
when using skincare (more specifically moisturiser), never rub the product into your skin in a downward motion! it can drag your face down over time. try an upward or circular motion instead.
keep your house tidy , especially your room / workspace. tidy space = tidy mind.

01, WATER .ᐟ
Staying hydrated is crucial for your health and wellbeing. While the recommended daily intake is 8 cups of water, you can gradually increase your consumption over a few weeks if that seems too overwhelming. Drinking enough water provides numerous benefits, from clearing skin and flushing out waste, to boosting exercise performance and supporting weight loss. Despite being the very essence that sustains life, water is often underappreciated.
02, FOOD .ᐟ
I used to skip breakfast, thinking it would help me lose weight. However, studies show that those who eat breakfast tend to lose more weight and keep it off longer. The truth is, food is incredibly important. It's best to regulate your eating habits by consuming at least 3 meals per day, even if they're only small portions. Some food is better than no food. If you want to go on a diet, that's fine! but make sure you research healthy dieting methods. At a minimum, eat one serving of fruits and vegetables daily, and try to increase that to five servings per day if possible. Proper nutrition is key for your overall health.
03, HOBBIES .ᐟ
i have this previous post regarding hobbies you could try! It's so important to find fun activities that you genuinely enjoy and look forward to doing. Hobbies add fun to your life and pose as a nice break from technology and the stress of work and school. They also greatly improve symptoms of depression and anxiety. You could do some physical activity, such as a sport you like, or something more calm and creative, like painting or writing.
04, SLEEP .ᐟ
a lot of people struggle to fall asleep at a decent time. Try getting ready for bed early. Personally, I tend to take off my make up and do my skincare immediately after i come home for school/work so i don't have to worry about it before bed.
Technology is probably your sleeping schedule's worst enemy, as the blue light from the screen keeps your brain awake, so try to pause screen-related activities at least an hour before bed. Also, try not to snack 2 - 4 hours before you go to sleep. This is because lying down makes it harder for your body to digest food, which can result in sleeplessness.
Forcing yourself to go to bed super early isn't helpful either. Like I've mentioned in my other points, take things slow and gradual!
05, SOCIALIZATION .ᐟ
Engaging in simple social interactions, such as conversing with family, seeing friends, or greeting people on the street, is incredibly important. Isolating yourself in your room all day accomplishes nothing.
There was a time when I dreaded spending time with friends, convinced I lacked the energy or mood. However, once I forced myself to make plans, I realized how much I genuinely enjoyed their company. Other people are what make life truly worthwhile. So why not reach out to a friend right now and invite them to hang out tomorrow?
06, ACTIVITY .ᐟ
you don't need an exercise routine if you don't want one, but simple physical activity is still a daily necessity! At least 30 minutes is recommended. Personally, i most enjoy plugging in my headphones and going on a walk around my neighbourhood for an hour or two.
07, SELF TALK .ᐟ
Arguably one of my most important points, quit the self-deprecating talk. You never realize how much it affects you until you quit it. Yes, you can absolutely get that assessment done. Yes, you are a likable and amazing person. Just keep affirming and reminding yourself that you are worthy, and you will attract so many good things. Trust me, it will help you so much in the long run.

this is optional, but for me, i have very limited flexibility in my legs. flexibility exercises (like the one above!) were recommended to me by my physio! if you're the kind of person who cant touch their toes or can't put their feet flat on the ground whilst doing downward dog, this might be something you want to try!

having good posture will not only drastically help you in the long run, but is also a super attractive trait that people tend to take notice of! this workout is probably my favourite and the one I've seen the most results from. I know a lot of other people on this app have recommended it too!

i feel like we normally don't do much to help our ears , so here are some ear cleaning tips and tricks to have fresh, clean and good smelling ears!!
qtips β™‘
never use qtips in your ears , PLEASE. they just push the wax further into your ear. i would recommend wetting a qtip with warm water and swabbing around the outside ear crevices , but never stick them into your ears.
cleaning β™‘
when in the bath or shower, use a soft cloth with a small amount of body wash to clean the surface of your ear , along with the back, top and underneath of your ear. heck , even better , clean it twice. rinse off the soap and then dry your ears immediately with a dry towel to stop bacteria from growing.
smelling good β™‘
having my ears smelling good is a MUST!! if someone hugs me , it's usually the first place they smell. here are my tips to avoid ear odors!
obviously , you wanna be washing the outside of your ears regularly (preferably with a nice smelling gentle body wash) . if behind your ears is ever sweaty, make sure to wipe it with a towel! i also like to exfoliate behind my ears twice a week, as i notice i get dead skin build up sometimes. a small dab of perfume behind your ears each morning is sure to keep them smelling good the whole day too! if you have piercings, make sure you're cleaning them regularly. β™‘ but please remember , if you notice an odor coming from your ears, always go to a doctor , as it could be a sign of infection!
please note β™‘
you don't really need to clean the inside of your ears at all! obv you wanna get rid of any excess sitting on the outside of your ear , but earwax catches dirt from reaching your ear drum and other more sensitive parts of the ear, so its best to leave it there to do its job! it will eventually come out naturally anyway.
if you do feel the need to clean , (whether it's causing you discomfort, there's too much wax, or you're struggling to hear) please go to a professional ear cleaner or ear specialist! this is way safer as they know what they're doing.

now , obv u wanna be brushing your teeth 3 times a day , flossing , mouth wash etc .. but here are some extra things that can help improve your oral health , breath and teeth!!
oil pulling β™‘
you can use coconut oil , sesame seed oil , or sunflower oil. swish a teaspoon of said oil around in your mouth to coat all your teeth , spit , and then repeat. @/ally.renee1 on TikTok recommends adding peppermint oil , this helps it taste better and also acts as a natural mouthwash!!
floss your teeth before brushing β™‘
use either waxed or woven flosses! never use glide flosses , they have Teflon (Teflon is a chemical , it's used in stuff like non-stick sprays , flosses with Teflon literally don't do anything but glide between your teeth). try flossing as if you're flossing both teeth instead of the space in between!
water flossing β™‘
for this you'll need a water flosser. hold for about 5 seconds in between each tooth (don't water floss after brushing teeth because you want the fluoride in the tooth paste to stay on your teeth!!)
tongue scrap β™‘
self explanatory. get a tongue scrap , and scrap from back to front 5 times. it's really gross what kind of stuff comes off , so you wanna make sure its all gone!
mouth wash β™‘
i'd recommend a teeth whitening one but any will work!! (obv you can use whitening strips too). swish for 30 seconds then spit.
brush teeth β™‘
personally , i use an electric toothbrush bc the rounded brush head gets rid of plaque better , but its okay if you don't have one! manual toothbrushes are fine , just make sure you brush extra good!
i brush my entire mouth once , spit , and then brush it again, just to make sure i get absolutely everything. make sure you're brushing the teeth at the very back , your gums , the roof of your mouth , and your tongue!! brush for a total of 3 minutes.
extra β™‘
why do i use mouth wash before brushing? because i don't want to wash away the remaining fluoride from the toothpaste that's still on my teeth. If it's morning , i use mouthwash again around 20 minutes after brushing, just to make sure my breath smells good.

as someone who suffers from eczema, dermaveen helps me sm! i love their lotion and unscented soap! they never flare up my skin, break me out or anything of the sort! i especially love their lotion after shaving , which i usually use in par with a scented one !!
O2 , philosophy
philosophy has the sweetest smelling body washes ever! my favourite is birthday cake !! super sugary sweet and leaves my smelling good and feeling fresh!
O3 , frank body
their sugar scrub is the best exfoliator i've ever used! gets rid of all the dead skin, and leaves my skin silky smooth! i use it before shaving for the best effect!

SUNDAE BODY UGHH β™‘β™‘β™‘ my personal favourite whips of theirs are 'very vanilla' and 'cherry on top' !! the scent lasts SO LONG and it has such fun cute packaging !! i always get compliments that i smell good even if i'm not wearing perfume !!
O5 , miss dior body milk
not necessarily a brand more a single product,, but god this stuff smells good! leaves me smelling elegant and is super moisturizing but without the sticky feeling after!
