What do you think about.. Rumi getting elected as the next ruler of the Demon Realm, replacing Gwi-ma wether she realize it or not?

I'll explain:

So... You guys know how Huntrix girls manages to defeat Gwi-ma eventually right?? You guys know how they did so because Rumi came back to weave a new Honmoon, possibly thinking to do so by herself because at that point? All hope was lost. She probably never though even once that her friends would snap out of it even on her way there right?

But guess what happened? She snapped them back to reality, out of the whispers of hatred and shame in their head, saving them from Gwi-ma.

Now, who else did she managed to save from the voices with her voice by singing? Jinu.

How about, Jinu had a talk with the Saja Boys after Gwi-ma bring him down and he's like, "I guess I could never get out of his control huh? Dumb of me to think that I was already free from him.."

And than one of the Saja Boys are like, "Now why such a thought came up to you?"

"Because his voice was gone. Until Rumi eventually left, apparently." Jinu said with a broken voice.

And than the Saja Boys growing a bit uncomfortable because.. Because woah.. Did that really happen? Maybe they ask what happened before and Jinu admitted that he was singing with her and Gwi-ma's voice just.. Gone..

They than remembered that Gwi-ma said he had absolutely no control over The Hunter, and JInu also mentioned that she can't hear his voice.

Imagine this information got spread from mouth to mouth, maybe the demons growing a bit sour because woah, the Hunter who is also half demon can't hear Gwi-ma. Except that part of the information isn't the focus at all.

It was the part where when Jinu sang with Rumi - and even stretched until Rumi left - that had gotten everyone's focus. For some reason, suddenly the demons gained this tiny bits of hope sparked in their empty soul, entwined and forever be enslaved by Gwi-ma. Maybe some of the demons told to go to the other side of the Honmoon to get more souls also start to search out for Rumi and those who ended up in a fight with her just kinda focusing more to her to inspect. While none of them got as close to her as Jinu did, it would do enough to satiate their curiousity.

And than Your Idol performance at the Namsan tower happened, Gwi-ma happened, The Hunters finally break apart.

Until Rumi came. With her haunting voice, agreeing with Gwi-ma and declared to weave a new Honmoon.

Than the song happened, What It Sounds Like happened.

What if, during the part where the fans sing along to the Hunter's new harmony, the demons who are there - maybe to watch Saja Boys perform and to witness the end the Human's world - also sung together. Suddenly, their souls are back just like Jinu's before he died and than they powered the Hunters with their voices and souls.

And than Gwi-ma died (In this house, bro is absolutely death, not just banished >:( )

Suddenly, they are king-less.

No Gwi-ma, no voices to fuel their shame, and their souls back absolutely in tact. It was a miracle for sure, but the Demon Realm will still need a ruler to rule over the realm and even to held it from breaking apart. The ruler need to be someone strong, does not matter wether everyone in the Demon Realm agreed or not because the strong is the one who came out on top. Except even the strongest demon left does not has a power strong enough to withheld the Demon Realm from collapsing.

With no demon strong enough to bear the title, they decide to fall back to one of the old rule of choosing a ruler - is that whoever defeated the ruler shall be take the throne.

Except it was the Hunters who had defeated Gwi-ma, hence why they doesn't went back to the old rule no matter how valid it is. They are only deciding to go back since they have no other choices.

Beside, one of the Hunter seems fitting to bear the tittle of the Demon King- (Uh... Queen?? Lord???) and she's also Half-Demon! That'd make their new Lord still being a Demon, right?

Except they can't exactly reach her since the Honmoon, while it seems to have different rules from the previous one, is even stronger and doesn't let any demon to pass. So they can't exaclty go and inform The Huntress that she had been elected the new Demon Lord - going as far as the whole populance of the Demon Realm to use their soul and believe and voices to connect them to The Half-Hunter Half-Demon to make it official through the threads in the Honmoon, exactly on the threads where the purple line often shone to shows the combined dark into the light.

At least their realm does hold better, even the one beyond Gwi-ma's solemn and dark throne, the real world of the demon realm where forests and other biome exist despite the sun and the moon having a very questionable cycle since it doesn't exactly do a normal day-night cycle. It seems like the Huntress has enough power to held strong the Demon Realm and the Honmoon.

They will tell her about this eventually...

Meanwhile, on the other side of the Honmoon, Rumi felt a sudden surge of power and energy - though she's unsure if it's the kind that take or give. She doesn't know what it is, but something in hear scream that something important had just happened and she had no idea what is it.

She also feeling awfully drained sometimes, only when she's feeling particularly down though. When she gets more used to her demon side as she starts to accept herself, the draining feeling also eventually gone.

And it seems like her demon side also growing stronger?? As if something powered her... Even if she can feel the little feeling at the back of her head that whatever powering her also take out from her. Not as much as it gives in comparison, feels weirdly similar to the Honmoon while also.. Not..?

She chalked it up to the Honmoon being new and having possibly different rules. More so than what she might expected before hand.

When she met a demon who is trapped on the human side of the Honmoon when it closed and when she and her girls get their weapon ready and it suddenly.. Bowed??? And called Rumi their lord while begging for mercy to the hunters and telling them that they hadn't been stealing any souls because the lord's power is enough to feed not just the Demon Realm but also enough to give the demons back their souls and therefore the need to feed on souls just dissappear because the reason why they did so was because they are basically soulless since their soul was tied tightly to Gwi-ma during his reign.

Rumi, Mira and Zoey are absolutely confused and decide to change the plan from kill to interogerate the demon.

Imagine their surprise from the demon's full explanation on what had been happening in the Demon Realm - or at least what they know from the very subtle and weak but there nonetheless connection between the demons.

Rumi is genuinely unsure what to do with the information that she may or may not had been elected legally by the demon rules to be their new King/Queen/Lord.

Mira and Zoey are also unsure how to proceed from here.

A long time ago, Takumi had promised to protect Karua. He had broken that promise. He could still remember holding her in his arms. Her finally calling him Takkun again... The scar on her stomach. Everything that he had learned about Nozomi... Her mother being a researching, her father dying... It had all been so similar yet different. The same with their personalities. But it didn't matter. Nozomi and Karua were the same person. Even if she didn't remember it.

But somehow... She had been the one to save him this time. The guilt of it clawed at him. Sure... He had gotten injured trying to protect the others but... If things had gone wrong, his recklessness could have gotten them into even more trouble. Hindsight really was 20/20. But it worked out. Barring an infection... He should be okay. Hopefully. But as long as he was on school grounds, he could die and come back. He still didn't want to die though.

She explains what has been happening without him. It was a relief to know he hadn't missed too much time. And also that the others were doing well without him. At the mention of talking about something else... Takumi's brain stalls.

"Uh...." Well, this is awkward. He doesn't want to make her uncomfortable. He doesn't know what to talk about either. Were there differences in the types of things Nozomi likes vs what Karua liked? He searched his brain for something mundane that could distract them from all of this.

The question... One he should not ask... Comes out of his mouth before he can stop it. Blame it on the fact he was hurt or that he had lost too much blood.

"Did you have any friends in the TRC? Anyone you really want to see again?"

     She keeps her hand there for a moment longer before returning it to rest in her lap. There's something about this that feels... familiar, but she can't quite put her finger on it. Maybe it was something her mother had done long ago or something else, but it makes her feel... content. There's a warmth she feels and it makes her feel at ease around him. It's... nice.

     Nozomi doesn't say anything as he eats. She simply watches him, sees the shake in his hands and can't help but be reminded of the reality of this situation. That despite everything, they're still just teenagers. Teenagers who were living ordinary lives before being thrown into this situation. It's awful and yet... they're here, doing what they have to. They're the only ones who can do this, but it doesn't mean they have to like it.

     And well, considering what had happened, it only just goes to show what can happen. She had been worried, and that hasn't gone away, even now. It's part of why she wants to stay by his side, but it isn't just that. She doesn't want to leave him alone and... she cares about him.

     "You're welcome, Sumino-kun." There's really no need to thank her, but she appreciates the words all the same. She's just doing what she wants to do. It's her own decision to be here.

     She notes that while he didn't finish the food, he has eaten it at least. It's a good sign. Slowly but surely, he'll get better. And she'll be there to help him if needed. If not her, then someone else for sure. They were all worried about him, after all.

     Lavender eyes watches him as lays back down. A small smile crosses her face as he looks back at her, as if to reassure him, or maybe herself, that what happened before is over. That they're both back here, alive. That it will all be okay, in time.

     "Of course we can," she replies, thinking for a moment before speaking again. "It hasn't been that long, only a couple of days at most. So not a lot has been happening. The others have been handling things, and we've been taking turns looking after you. We've been okay." There's been worry for him of course, and worry about what could happen if the enemy attacks while he's still recovering, but she doesn't want to make him feel bad about that.

     "We don't have to just talk about that though. It can be about anything. Whatever you want." She can still remember what he said when she found him, but she doesn't know if it's right to bring it up now. Maybe some other time.
