Something about even when Tommy is taking care of Buck there being this distance between them, Tommy is on the couch and turning off the lights while Buck is still trying to talk, Tommy is in the foreground of Buck having another “who are you without your family” moment in a graveyard, Tommy in the hospital, wearing a visitor badge, close but never touching, there but never there.

Something about Tommy being all over this episode and still barely there at all. He is in Buck- Evan’s- life but he’s not in it, he’s on the outside, always behind this invisible fence

I noticed a correlation here, and maybe I’m looking too far into it- But listen. In the comics, it’s revealed that Stanley once wanted to become a comic book author, having made what is known as “Lil’ Stanley.” However, as we learn in the comic, his dreams were crushed when his comic was turned away and he gave up on his dream. Now in the present, he sees the comic he once made as a reflection of his own disappointment and shattered dreams- Selling it for 3 bucks on sale. NOW HERES THE THING. In Stanley’s Lowest Moments it’s listed that his dad tried to pawn him off for- How much money? 3 BUCKS. Ima reiterate. Stan sells Lil’ Stanley- The comic that he put his heart and soul into and was seen as unsatisfactory- For 3 bucks. Filbrick Pines tries to pawn Little Stan off as punishment for a bad grade- And by extension his inadequacy- For 3 bucks.

I’m reading the three musketeers and found out that Brienne is a medieval French country and guess what the coat of arms was for the ‘Counts of Brienne’ was, a fricking lion!

I think I’ve seen a post about it before, but I’ve connected more dots and I feel like it should be talked about more because..

that guy from La Dee Dah Dah Day is totally Max right?

a couple things make me believe this!

- character is a jock played by Jeff, and Jeff was heavily considered for the role of Max before he got involved in other projects

- we see Peter (hot cocoa boy) is also infected during this number which could be a coincidence and they just needed an extra, buuuut….in the “Nerdy Prudes Must Livestream” livestream, Nick mentions how NPMD was the first completed work in the Hatchetfield trilogy

-we do see the same letterman jacket being used later during the working boys segment

however we know this is (very likely) a different character because of how Jeff’s hair is up and how the letterman is now buttoned

-bonus points for the “J” on the letterman possibly standing for “Jägerman”

-the demeanor of the character (even though his is infected) gives a very Max like energy and yes this could be Jeff just being an asshole jock, but NPMD was the first finished Hatchetfield show which means they would have known what Max’s checker was going to be like

I think this is fun to talk about because like….how the hell did max get infected??

I know this is a question that can pertain to many of the first few infected characters we see, but I feel like most of them can be covered by “oh yeah they went to the starlight that night”, but there’s no way max would have. we know he got infected before the rest of hatchetfield high because of the later scene of Alice being trapped in the high school, so that didn’t infect him. that means he was killed and then infected or some how infected unknowingly like the patrons in beanies. the ladder is more likely obviously, but imagine if it was the former and instead of Max coming back as a ghost after he died in the Waylon place, he came back as a part of the Hive.

this is a bit of a ramble but my friend and i were talking about 911 the other day (specifically the whole thing with tommy, buck, and eddie) and she causally said “well tommy thinks eddie is an experienced gay man” and i was like elaborate, and basically:

tommy left buck on their date pretty much because buck was still figuring himself out and was new to all of this and tommy didn’t want to wait around for him to ‘get his shit together’ so to speak. so it becomes clear that tommy is only interested in men who he believes are a) queer and b) aware they’re queer/experienced in some way; tommy’s not someone who would go after a man romantically if he wasn’t sure they were also gay/queer.

which brings us to eddie, because let’s be so real tommy was 100% after eddie and then decided if he couldn’t have him then he’d have buck. and why would tommy go after eddie if he didn’t believe eddie was queer and experienced (“i’m your first not your last”). he even scoffed at buck when he said that eddie was straight.

it’s also why he considered him competition in the first place, because eddie wouldn’t be competition if tommy didn’t think buck had a chance in the first place. then it’d just be one sided and tommy would be more focused on buck’s feelings than eddie’s ‘pursuing’.

and the reason it was so easy for tommy to believe that he was in a competition with eddie despite literally being in a relationship with buck is because he put himself in competition with marisol. tommy was trying to win eddie over with the helicopter rides, the wrestling matches, basketball, etc. so of course it would make total sense to tommy that eddie would put himself in competition with him because that’s the exact same thing tommy did.

but tommy was convinced he was going to lose so he left buck before buck could leave him. it wasn’t until “the competition was out of the way” that tommy thought he might actually have a chance with buck.

all of this is to say that i think tommy clocked eddie and that’s why he saw him not only as an option but also as competition, meanwhile eddie is absolutely none the wiser to any of this lmfao

Something about Nat [and Travis] failing to find anything to hunt during the winter. Something about the hunger and desperation leading them to consume Jackie’s body. Something about Natalie looking extremely distraught the day after, literally rocking herself as she stares at Jackie’s remains. Something about Nat taking it upon herself to honor Jackie’s body and give her a sincere thank you and apology because maybe this wouldn’t have happened if Nat was able to successfully hunt.
