Here's the lil bit of story I came up with:

They were going to have a party, but all their friends cancelled/nobody showed up. Skizz is upset bc he was gonna make Impulse play spin the bottle. Impulse jokes that they can still play, they agree to do it with stuffed animals instead and like,,, really commit to the bit. Full make-out session with a plushie. The idea tickles them so much they can't stop laughing. And then... well. Things don't go according to plan :) also skizz is so eager to spin bc he wants to kiss Impulse again

Just came to the startling realization that in the two seasons where Pearl wasn’t affiliated with Scott, he took out her allies. In Limited Life he killed BigB and in Secret Life he killed both Bdubs and Joel. Not to mention that he took himself out in Double Life and while they weren’t allies, she did want him to get to the end so she herself could. And technically he was also Pearl’s final killer in Double Life too, and she was her own only ally.

I feel like you could do something with that. With Pearl feeling like Scott still holds such a grudge from Double Life that he refuses to let her be happy with anyone else. Even if it’s not true, that’s how it feels. She knows that the actual logic is that there was only so many people left and Scott wasn’t her ally so they were the only people for him to kill, but is there not something a little bit like being soulmates there? Is destroying anybody someone loves, including yourself, not some kind of bond?

Do you think when he killed her in Limited Life some part of her mourned that the water he had chased her through had washed away BigB’s blood from his sword so they could not be together again? Do you think when he sacrificed himself to Gem in Secret Life that Pearl silently seethed at losing a chance to avenge Bdubs and Joel? That maybe when she finally got to kill him in Wild Life, she did it for the three of them as well as herself?

Most days it’s easy to forget that John was once part of the King in Yellow. His soft skin and charming awkwardness so far from the King’s many hollow facades.

But somedays Noel wakes up with a bone deep ache screaming down his limbs and a migraine hunting his steps. Somedays he wakes up and just knows that it’ll be a bad day.

Last week had one of those days. Noel tried to fight it off but the foul mood reached a crescendo after dinner. Arthur and Oscar were in the other room pouring over a new tome. John was idly sitting at the kitchen island while Noel finished up the dishes.

If you asked Noel exactly what happened next, he wouldn’t be able to tell you. The memory playing back like a broken record, skipping and distorting.

He remembers his head pulsing in time with his heartbeat, the feeling of the dirty dish water quickly becoming too much to bear and John’s voice.

The god fragment was asking him if he wanted to go see a film with him. When Noel declined, John’s tone shifted, becoming cough syrup sweet, golden, manipulative, he barely got a few words out.

Next, Noel remembers being on his knees on the floor. John beneath him on his back, staring up at Noel.

Noel’s hands around John’s neck. Squeezing, screaming that the King couldn’t take him back.

More hands, at his back, pulling, tearing. Voices muffled and distorted. “Noel stop!”

John’s hand, cradling Charlie’s face.

I randomly remembered that Miku (when she was first introduced) is a canon fan of SAMS in the show (and possibly the other shows, too), so I had this thought of: "Miku is just seeing Eclipse, her lover, getting tortured by the Mimic (during the whole Mimic arc) and she can do nothing but watch." So I made this :3

So I took a screenshot of Tenna in Castle Town to get his estimated height compared to Kris & Spamton (whose sprites can be found in the link below)

& afterwards, I realized the animation Tenna’s doing makes it INCREDIBLY hard to use it as a fair height reference (ie his shoes are pointed forward, his legs are slightly bent, he’s hunched over a bit, etc)

So

I decided to do something fun to solve the issue at hand.

I tried making the proportions match what I could estimate from his character model while also making them look

I think I nailed down his proper height, but I wouldn’t mind someone else going the extra mile & double checking (like maybe cross referencing a t posing Tenna to best fit his Castle Town size using his head as a basis, I dunno. I ain’t the height chart expert.)

Also I did this purely for shits & giggles.
