Read the tags on the latest post, honestly, you did nail the kind of mentality that would be common in soviet countries and is a bit common in post soviet countries. We do usually keep to ourselves. Does Heavy have a more backstory reason for why he doesn't share much about himself or more just that's how he is?

To be honest I really think it’s a mix of both for BLU heavy specifically. Now I don’t talk about him at ALL but y’all are gonna get some lore outta me. For this question. (As for the first comment thank you so much! Though funnily enough I didn’t intend for that, funny how I still hit the mark though! What a compliment)

First, you may boo me if you like: I believe in the clone theory—I know I know it’s common! I like to think specifically the Red team +Blu engineer are the originals while the Blu team +Red Engineer are the clones.

How I think it works is that one day they just kinda spawned in with the other original guy’s memories and said “welp time to continue life”. Some of their looks varied a bit (engineer and sniper) but most of them stayed physically the same. Mentally and emotionally however they are VERY different.

They react and act the way they do due to the fact they’re still, technically, their own person with their own thoughts and feelings, and interestingly enough they formed their own mentality. They may have the memories and the looks of their original but mentally wise they think and act differently.

Heavy is an example. BLU heavy and red heavy react differently to their teams. Red heavy is very empathetic, yes, he’s quiet and only really speaks when he feels he needs to, and he’s a pretty stern looking guy—but he’s genuinely very kind. He’s an empathetic person, if he were to give advice he would. He’s just a down to earth person. BLU heavy however is apathetic. He would rather keep to himself than help others—he has morals sure, he thinks he COULD help, but that doesn’t mean he SHOULD. He’s very big on the mentality of “that’s not my business” and just leaves it alone. Which is basically what you’re saying with the Slovakia saying. He’s a very morally grey person cuz he chooses to keep to himself rather than help others even though he knows of wrongdoings. Now, there are two reasons for this:

His backstory in general. He remembers he has a family back in Siberia (for more context, they are just memories. BLU heavy isn’t related to heavy’s sisters or mom, nor does his family know of BLU heavy. BLU heavy just knows he has a family, that’s it) and he does care for them, however unlike RED heavy’s constant need to be supportive and the thing that protects others, BLU heavy is sure of himself that his sisters and mom could take care of themselves like he is with himself. He worries about him and him alone. Just the mentality he grew as he started living.

Now for the other reason.

He just doesn’t like his team. 💀

That’s it. He fucking can’t STAND them.

He doesn’t necessarily hate them let me rephrase….he just genuinely thinks they’re all pretty insufferable and would rather stand in the corner and act like a pillar than talk to any of them and potentially start an argument. The entire BLU team is a RECK with mentally unstable men and BLU heavy would rather keep to himself than deal with their bullshit.

He doesn’t SAY or speak up about the fact he finds them all annoying, he just stays quiet and that’s that. But the others don’t mess with him mainly cuz, one, he’s a big fucking guy, and two cuz he doesn’t cause any problems so they don’t have a reason to really pick at him.

However that doesn’t mean heavy has his opinions on THEM. Specifically however, the people he CAN tolerate are the order of Engineer, Pyro, Soldier and Medic. Engineer cuz he realizes he’s a decent man, he just doesn’t have a spine. Soldier because he yells a lot and is loud, but he means well, and he does a lot to protect his team, Heavy respects that. Pyro because—well everyone else tolerates pyro as well considering pyro keeps to himself all the time. He really would prefer to watch paint dry just cuz he chooses to. No one messes with pyro cuz pyro ain’t much. And medic? Medic has the fiercest anger issues known to man and is quite literally insufferable as hell, but heavy’s very patient with medic cuz medic DOES have good ideas, it’s just nobody listens to him. Medic in turn finds Heavy tolerable, but that doesn’t mean he likes him. Vice versa with heavy and you have two co-workers who tolerate each other’s presence.

But with everyone else? Heavy has strong opinions. The strongest one being Sniper…..Now Heavy once again isn’t talkitive, keeps to himself and only himself, but he’ll be damned if he doesn’t stay away from sniper cuz he genuinely feels SUPER uncomfortable with him. And heavy’s a big guy—he can absolutely win in a fight against sniper physically—but he just…doesn’t like him. At all. Sniper is the HUGEST red flag to heavy.

You ever have that feeling towards someone who, hasn’t necessarily done anything bad? Like they haven’t done anything despicable so you don’t have a reason to really hate them, but you just have that feeling in your gut something ain’t right about them? That’s what heavy feels towards sniper. It’s REALLY strong. He REALLY doesn’t like him and prefers to stay as far away as possible from sniper. Heavy doesn’t say anything, but he definitely says it with body language.

TLDR: Heavy keeps to himself, due to mentality, and also because the BLU team are collective morons.

merlin's role in arthurian canon is very funny & interesting to me cause he seems to tick every stereotypical 'who will betray the king' box. royal advisor. sorceror. extremely morally questionable. literally half-demon. appears to have an incredibly dangerous level of influence over arthur to the point where he can tell him to enact his very own massacre of the innocents cause he isn't sure which may day baby is mordred and arthur just DOES. not to mention that contrary to modern popular canon he has basically zero personal beef with morgana and remains pretty tight with her despite her attacks on camelot. so you see all this and you think well your majesty surely he means you harm!! but NO it turns out this weird little wizard who the king keeps around for moral support is actually the single most loyal person in court. i mean king arthur is like betrayals georg the way he is collecting duplicitous individuals. guinevere lancelot mordred morgana briefly gawain truly ALL his nearest and dearest backstabbed him at some point but not his no. 1 magic freak. he's his only real ride or die. anyway bbc merlin is maybe the closest I've seen to really capturing this dynamic

Sorry if this comes off as rude, or too personal, but how do you still have the mental strength to be like you are, after everything you've gone through? Like, not to make suffering a competition, but from what you've shared, it seems like you've had to deal with so much more than most, and yet you're still able to create, engage in the things you love and enjoy, and even wish better for the people who'd only want the worst for you. As someone who hasn't been able to do any of those for a while now, or feel anything beyond a sticky sense of resentment, I'd appreciate the words of someone who's been in shit miles deeper, if that isn't too much trouble. Sorry if this whole thing sounds weird, and thanks for being one of the weird funny guys on my dash, you've given me lots of laughs when I've needed them.

Oh, wow. Uh.

I think first off- not to minimize my experiences cause my therapist says not to do that- but I have a LOT of friends and loved ones who have been through much worse and are also doing good now, so that kinda helps. Knowing that if they got through things, I can too, and they don’t think less of ME for struggling.

Secondly… I think I used to not be so happy about life. I was really angry, really sharp and ascerbic, and when people who met me matched my energy, they’d be sharp and ascerbic back. And so I’d trap myself in this place where life ALREADY sucked, and then everyone around me was awful, so I’D be awful, and it would turn into this absolute mire of bad feeding bad.

And then one day I think after a long good cry in a public toilet, I just felt… better? Not BETTER, because I still had all my problems, but I think I was riding that post-cry high you get sometimes and the sun just looked brighter, and the annoying kids around me were just… less aggravating. The dumb teen boys being idiots were less “stupid morons with no depth who don’t care and can’t think” were just… regular old dumbasses having fun. And then I said hello to someone with a smile, and they smiled back, and we had this great conversation I never would have had otherwise, and I figured out that people are kind to you when you’re kind first.

Which seems obvious, but like… it’s hard to see anyone else when you’re hurting. And so when people are cruel or rude to me, I just think… wow. People probably see you being an asshole and treat you like an asshole. You probably see your own bad attitude reflected back at you everywhere you go, just like I did, and you probably have no idea. Every stranger you meet is a rude bitch who hates your face, and you’ll never be able to go anywhere that isn’t full of tense, defensive, cranky bastards until you figure out that YOU are causing the bulk of it. Like a dog trying to run from the shit on its tail.

And the idea of living your whole life where nobody is happy to see you, nobody truly enjoys your company, everyone is walking on eggshells and waiting for you to snap on them…. That’s a pretty sad and painful way to live your whole entire life.

So like. I try to treat people kindly, and in return I get to see happy people wherever I go. I try to make them laugh, and listen to them talk, and once they do they aren’t frightening or annoying or strange anymore.

most people, at least.

So like… I don’t think “look on the bright side” is the right answer, but maybe… find something good to believe in, and hold on.

I believe that people at large are good and kind or at least trying their best, and that those who can’t or aren’t are… sort of pitiable.

They don’t know where their pain is coming from, and they can’t make it go away, and it’s been like that so long they probably think the whole world is just LIKE that. So they never really get to experience the good things. And that’s… kind of like a hell, I think, in a way.

I don’t believe in karma. I don’t think I’m religious. I just think that we all want similar things, and we all fear similar things, and the ways we go about getting to or running from those things is different.

Tim and Damian piss Jason enough that the next week Jason is their Literature teacher in the School

HAHAHAHAHSDFSHKSD OMG YES

Tim and Damian may not be close, but they're always willing to team up and mess with Jason. They think it's funny. Jason does not. His frustration has been slowly building throughout the past few weeks until finally, he gets glitter bombed after a rough patrol. Post clean up, post shower, about to get into bed, he opens up his clothes drawer and BOOM. Glitter. He has had enough.

He sends a text to them reading 'I'm done with this. Pray for your fucking lives' and gets to work on coming up with a revenge plan. Beat them up? A classic, but too basic. Screw with their patrol routes? Nah, that would just piss Bruce off, and he's not interested in that right now. He knows a few of Black Mask's goons.. maybe he can use them to mess with them? No.. the last time he used Mask's henchmen for revenge behind his back, he was sent a very strongly worded text message. He had to apologize with freshly baked cookies.

He remembers Tim and Damian talking about a literature project. Something about having to choose a book to read for class work. Apparently, Tim is struggling with his book and Damian hasn't even started his. He can steal the books? Tear out a few pages so they don't get the full story?

Wait.

Wait just a minute.

Jason has a degree in English.

He.. he can use this.

He does end up getting help from Mask's goons (with permission, of course), and suddenly their teacher is nowhere to be found and they're stuck with a substitute. They think it's great. Damian uses that time to draw and Tim brings his switch to school for the week and it's awesome.

On Monday the next week, Tim gets a very bad feeling while walking into school. He asks Damian if he feels weird, and he admits that something feels a bit off. They wander into class and find it completely rearranged. Where there used to be a silly alphabet poster, there is now a Hamlet quote. The bright red curtains were replaced with black. On the desk, two books- are those Tim and Damian's books??- are stacked on top of each other, a skull resting on top. The sub isn't there. In fact, Damian swears he saw them walk into a different classroom.

They sit down at a desk, not their usual one, seeing as the desks were moved from groups to lines, and wait. The bell rings and the door slams open, Jason strutting in. They both sit there in shock as their brother sets his stuff down and writes 'Mr. T' on the board. He turns around and smirks at them before turning to the rest of the class.

Jason: "Hello everyone, you can call me Mr. T. I will be your new English Literature teacher for the year."

Student: "You don't look like a teacher.."

Jason, narrowing his eyes: "And you don't look like you're going to pass my class."

Student:

Jason: "That's what I thought.. everybody up. I'm assigning seats."

He switches everybody around, placing Tim and Damian in the front row on opposite sides. He claims he heard something about a project, and he will be collecting it now, seeing as the due date was that day. Tim and Damian watch as the majority of their class hands in the work in shame and slight fear. Jason calls on them for their work and they have to admit to the class that they didn't do it. They receive ten fat F's.

When Jason begins his teaching year, he uses it to torment his brothers. He makes them read aloud, calls on them to answer questions they don't know, curves the lessons to ones they struggle with, etc. Eventually though, he finds that he actually enjoys teaching. His class seems to like him too. He's a fairly young guy who doesn't try to act like he's all professional, and he teaches the lessons in a way that makes them interested. Tim and Damian hate it, and are the only ones who seem to not like the new teacher.

When he leaves at the end of the year, he receives a bunch of flowers and gifts and cards from his students. He cries.

Years later, the kids will come up to him when they see him on the street. He gets told about what new books they're reading, what they're majoring in, how they're doing. A couple kids tell him that he inspired them to study English Literature, and he feels like he's on top of the world. He gets invited to the wedding of two of his students who he assigned together for group work. He's invited to college graduations. They even have a book club that he occasionally goes to.

— Mafioso won't necessarily... care? Sure, he acknowledges your existence but that's about it. What's so interesting about a kid running around harming other's when c00lkidd himself also exists? Nothing special here.

— But he's also petty. I don't think he'd usually indulge with talking to kids but you should at least be hitting puberty? You could definitely talk like an adult! Which was the most brightest thought he had before personally getting taken aback.

— Perhaps the only one who actually wants to be around you. To c00lkidd, a kid a bit above his age doesn't matter to him, all that matters is that you both can play together and have fun!

— Your remarks barely take effect on him, worst you can get out of him is a pout with a whiny "you're so mean!" comment. That's just your way of having fun, right? C00lkidd happily attempts to come off just as sassy as you just so both of you can share the same fun, isn't that just generous of him?

— Of course when you do actually go off on c00lkidd with whatever anger reached its peak, he backs off or either stares like a deer caught in headlights, eventually his expression morphing into one where he almost looks like he's about to cry.

— This can also be the only instance where you can be open with one of the killers. C00lkidd is, well, a kid himself. Maybe still really childish, but he passes enough to lend an ear. — Again, with the hypothetical of two killers in one round, c00lkidd practically beamed. He can impress you how good he is at roughhousing, even offering on "ganging up" one of the survivors so it's fair play for both of you! But, well, your way of roughhousing was a bit extreme. Even for c00lkidd.

— It's fun when you catch the survivors off guard! They hadn't seen you around the corner so, obviously, c00lkidd is gonna give them a punch or two in a way to say "better be more attentive next time". Anything else just... Somewhat awkward?

— While it only sinks in slowly for c00lkidd after the round is finished that this was not some sort of game, it immediately sinks in that the survivors are not napping with the way you stab them over and over again with a knife in hand.

— He could really only stare. Perhaps awkwardly shuffle away to leave you to what you were doing. You were just a bit angry at that person! Surely you'll play less extreme next time.

— c00lkidd really just wants to play, even if he's a little slow on understanding your behavior. He doesn't have any malicious intent. He's just trying to have some fun with someone who's also considered a kid!

— A creation made out of hatred, I think you can guess what type of feelings they have towards you.

— Kids are already annoying. c00lkidd wasn't even an exception for 1x1x1x1, he's just a natural hater. It just adds more into his hatred with how easily you get angered. Compared to Mafioso, they aren't gonna bite their tongue, in fact they snap just right back at you which ultimately turns into a screaming match. 90% of the times both of you had to get seperated before either of you got physical. (Isn't even annoying, 1x1x1x1 would just get made fun of for getting riled up over a kid)

— With that, she just ignores your existence entirely. Getting upset over an angsty teen? Not her style. One glance and they're immediately sending daggers your way.

— Fortunately (or unfortunately), everything either of you do is what everyone receives. Perhaps this would annoy him even more cause how dare you act similarly with others, if not perhaps you're going more extreme on him specifically too!

— But she can shrug you off, even though she practically starts fuming without barely having seeing you. He's getting upset over a kid, a kid! Obviously that's unbelievable. He can't be standing this low. So you're existence is basically nothing to them.

— Till the hypothetical two killers in one round starts. They're not having it.

— Begrudgingly, they tell you to stay out of their way, receiving not only an eye roll from you but you also flip them off. Just great.

— The round went smoothly. They haven't seen you yet which is great! It's so positive that 1x1x1x1 starts hating it too. What's even more annoying is how suddenly easy it is to kill a survivor cause they blindly run right into them.

— It's annoyingly too easy. Not even that, they're running into her while looking like they saw a ghost! They should be running away from him and not look like they're purposely running right at him.

— That's before they found out the source. And of course, it just had to be you.

— For someone who still is so young, you were oddly more violent than c00lkidd. It's not like he was purposely seeking you out, no, they just stumbled upon you while chasing down a survivor.

— Not only did you snatch their kill you also don't even get off the survivor! Stabbing them so many times they practically become unrecognizable. 1x1x1x1 could just awkwardly leave the scene, since when are kids so violent..?

— When the round was over, everything goes back to how it was before being paired up, by not acknowledging you exist. Making the round too easy? Unbelievable.... Okay maybe they were a bit impressed with how quickly the round was finished, but that faded away so quickly she immediately becomes negative about it.

— Eventually, maybe, perhaps never, she'd actually voice a bit that you've impressed him. Even though it might come out condescending. You can't really get any positivity out of them....

— They're just a hater in the end. Gotta suck it up.

The fanon of Dick resenting Jason and disliking him before he died is baffling to me because in the actual canon, he was just not there often because he was a college-aged kid who lived away from home. We also have canonical proof that he and Jason still managed to hang out while he was busy with the Titans considering they went skiing together (which kinda tells you they probably hang out more times than we see on page).

Dick feels guilty because he wasn't there NOT because he was awful to Jason when they interacted. He wasn't. He actually was very mature considering his problems with Bruce at the time.

Also, I don't even think Jason would think that. He has problems with Dick post-death because he doesn't have the full picture (ie: the things he doesn't know about like.. that time Dick did exactly what he has been asking Batman to do this entire time for him and Tim and Barbara) and because of how he sees Nightwing and batman's relationship and Dick in general but it's not about how he was treated before his death.

The guy shows up in Dick's city, decides to be a more violent Nightwing to try to reconnect with his older brother (that's so funny to me for some reason). This isn't the way someone who thinks their older brother hated him would react.

Right before the end of PIDW Airplane posts an update that basically says "Hey due to a mix of health and personal reasons I won't be able to post for a while sorry!!"

SY, who is in the hospital with horrible food poisoning isn't happy about this!! Something like this right after a cliffhanger??? Really??? And he's not got a lot else to do In the hospital, so he kind of... accidentally... doxxes Airplane...

He was just looking for an account that he thought that hack author would check since he's obviously not looking at zhongdian, honest!!! But it turns out that this person lives somewhat nearby where SY does and is much cuter than he expected some hack author to be

So he maybe goes to wander around the area (its nearby!! He's allowed to go on walks isn't he!!) And as a matter of fact finds Airplane!! Right on the sidewalk!!!

And starts off with a rather aggressive introduction before realizing that his favorite shitty erotica author 1) has obviously healing electrocution burns, 2) is?? Way too skinny? Like on par with SY himself and hes chronically ill, 3) is standing outside a social services office and 4) appears to be carrying everything he owns with him on his back

He immediately feels so guilty that he pivots from angry ranting to guiltily offering him a place to stay or, he can at least pay for a hotel room?? SQH does a very brief amount of mental calculus on if he'd rather deal with government bureaucracy or getting kidnapped and axe murdered by a crazy fan, shrugs, and chooses the latter.

When SQH point out that he can't pay SY back in any way SY tells him that he can pay him back by writing a better novel!!! SQH teases him about being a devoted fan and offers to let him read some unpublished extras and backstory stuff (like SJ & YQY backstory, that sort of thing). Predictably, SY likes this a lot more and complains that it wasn't in the novel, in turn Airplane laments that if more readers were like SY he wouldn't be in this situation in thr first place.

Related: SQH can't update because his laptop is fried. SY claims "to know a guy". SY does not know a guy, but he has money, so... (the files are fine and saved in like 3 different cloud locations, Airplane already learned that lesson)

But PIDW ended on a cliffhanger! SY doesn't want to wait!!! So he bothers Airplane until he finds out that Airplane actually haS two endings waiting in the wings and he still hasn't decided which one to post. Reason being: he's kinda 80% done with writing a sequel of sorts, but he knows if he posts it it will basically get his zhongdian account nuked and remove his chances of making money from it ever again, because the current readers of PIDW would HATE IT

Sy eventually argues that *he's* a reader and that Airplane should let *him* read it and if he deems it good then it's certainly good enough to post!! SQH finds this very funny because SY is not the average PIDW at all, but decides to allow it

The sequel in question is a slow burn romance from Mobei-Juns point of view that leans heavily into drama and political intrigue. He stands by Binghes side and quietly pines and remains loyal and Binghe slowly discovers that devoted loyalty and understanding is actually the thing that makes him happy (vs empty relationships with his many wives)

(Mobei Jun is written in a very grey-ace way, not understanding the carnal desires of other demons but would do anything for Junshang if asked etc etc)

SY ADORES this book and thinks that if it were posted online it would be his #1 favorite. He really relates to MBJ as a protagonist and Binghe is still the best!! And then he is completely blindsided when the two of them have tender emotional gay sex

Being SY, he absolutely tries to justify this to himself as like, aha,what a clever subversion...! You can tell because this sex scene was way better written then all the ones in PIDW, but obviously they aren't gay (He is too flustered to bring this up to Airplane in person despite having no problem doing so with the het stuff)

The novel ends with, like, Bingge sealing away Xin mo and promising to be just as loyal to his general as MBJ is to him, and is very obviously romantic to the point that even SY can't miss it. So he goes back and rereads it to make sure it was actually meant to be a romance (...danmei) novel all along. And then again just to make sure and he's kinda losing his mind a little because he really related to MBJ in this book and... MBJ had gay sex??

Of course you also have the "and they were roommates" situation going on at the same time. The rituals are intricate. Airplane is aware that's he's giving SY some kind of sexuality crisis but he has no idea how intense! He's genuinely fine having an unrequited crush on SY. Homoerotically teasing him is fun and it doesn't have to go further than that! Hes not really in a place to be doing any dating anyways and bro-cuddles have him covered!

Side note: I like the idea of SY being very proud when Airplane gains weight bc its Physical proof that he's taking good care of his friend and also maybe catering to what he finds attractive

When SY finally gets to the point where he asks about his sexuality, Airplane pretty much gives him the "I don't see a point in labels, I just like who I like" speech.

SY who loves categorizing and labeling things: can you do that?? Is that allowed??????

He then gets pointed to Baby's First LGBTQ resource website, and after determining that he's maybe not gay but maybe is something else immediately jumps into googling "how to date your best friend who is also your roommate"

-> 007n7, 118o8, and 226w6(is that their name?) have pixel voices and use their respective gui as a dialogue box! (Ex: undertale/deltarune dialogue)

^^ But 007n7, mid-forsaken, created a command so that he can have a voice. Unfortunately it's a little bit-crushed since his abilities are limited, but it gets the job done. This does make him a little more tired since it takes up a lot of energy so he only uses the command when needed

-> c00lkidd knows sign language! He practiced real hard on it so that his dad wouldn't have to type out all of his responses just to talk to him. He uses that knowledge to chat with Jason!

-> 1x1x1x1's voice is heavily bitcrushed during rounds, but is slightly clearer when they're outside of rounds/not actively killing the survivors. If you listen closely, you'd be able to pick up on an accent (up to you to decide on what that accent is, I personally think it'd be funny for them to have a cockney accent lol)

-> John Doe has a ring attached to a necklace that he keeps safe at all times. He doesn't remember why it holds so much importance, but he still takes care of it anyway as it's the only link he has to his past.

^^ Additionally, Jane Doe is mainly seen with her ring in the lobby. She takes care of it to the best of her ability to keep his memory alive. She does remove it when doing certain tasks to avoid it getting scratched

-> The killers occasionally huddle around for "game night" to decide the order of killers for the upcoming rounds. It's mainly games between c00lkidd, Jason, 1x, and John Doe (with a little help since corrupted body and stuff), but they occasionally play team games with the rest of their "counterparts" (skins). Monopoly is banned as a game suggestion due to a few unnamed incidents and a hole in the wall inside of their shared cabin

-> Unreleased killers can spectate the rounds to get a grasp on the survivors' skillsets. The only problem is that they don't know what they'll be capable of when it'll be their turn

-> 007n7 and Noob bond over their shared love for vocaloid. He shows Noob "classic" songs whilst they show 07 the more "modern" songs. If they had access to the internet, they would've sent mv links to eachother every day for the other person to listen to

-> Vanity Jason's first appearance was a big shock to Noob. They got distracted the entire round because "BUTCHER'S VANITY REFERENCE?!?!"

-> Similarly, Jason was distracted when they first saw Party Noob's outfit. They then spent the rest of the round talking (well, one talking while the other signing) about scene and Jason proceeded to wear the scenecore outfit during their next round. Noob loved the outfit :>

-> 007n7's music taste is worrying. Not in the freaky or scary way, moreso in the "do you need a hug?" kind of way. Its not obvious at first since most of it is in a foreign language (ref to my multiligual 07 hc) but if you search up the meanings of the songs there you'd be concerned with how depressing they can get.

-> Shedletsky struggles with negative emotions. He thought he could get rid of all that hatred and wrath by storing it in another vessel, but it only made things worse. He constantly wonders why he continues to have some sort of hatred left inside of him, but what he forgot is that hatred for oneself exists and it will continue to gnaw at his mind with each passing day until there's nothing left.

-> 007n7 flinches at the sounds of Chance's gun as it reminds him of his last "good" decision before being forsaken'd. He also isn't great with loud noises because of it.

^^ "Good" because all he could see was how people hated him and would rather see him dead, and for once he agreed with them and he made it happen.

-> Two Time can never rest, as every time they close their eyes all they can see is them watching, looking at them, asking them why'd they go through with it. "Are you happy with the results, my dear Nightshade?"

^^ They have to bandage their hands constantly because all they can see is their blood. No matter how much they wash and how hard they scrub at them it's still there.

-> Taph has nightmares, constantly. They keep dreaming about the mobs that criticise their works, how they intend to harm them, and how they wish they didn't exist. They never say anything because, well, they can't. No amount of sign language and emojis can explain what's going on in that guy's head.

Image one of them seeing Grim getting held, smooched on his cute little face, and being told what a handsome little man he is. The boy wants that to be him so bad. 🥲

I love the misplaced jealousy trope so much. It's about the contempt, embarrassment, and guilt all rolled up into one package. Anyway have a list:

Not Jealous

Kalim- the only thing he is jealous of is that he is not the one spoiling Grim, he wants to let him know what a special little boy he is too! Look he even brought some crackers-

Trey- has kid siblings, knows how fun they can be to spoil so he doesn't mind. He saves his actual jealousy for other people that try to monopolize your time and assume that since he is so laid back he will just be ok with it.

Lilia- he is too old to be jealous of a practical child, but he is a bit hurt Grim won't let him spoil either of you with some food. He worked really hard on it ˙∧˙

Rook- watching you interact with Grim is truly beautiful, he has so many pictures of the two of you together from different angles in different light and he loves them all. Also I feel like he would be the type to actually like feeling jealous? Like he would write excessively about how beautiful he finds his feelings for you to the point you wonder if he is actually jealous or just... really extra with his obsessions.

Rollo- he doesn't see Grim as competition. Point, blank, period, there is no reason to be jealous of a monster because he doesn't want you to see him as someone who needs babying. If you are going to pepper his face with kisses and tell him he is handsome he wants that to be for other reasons (and hopefully in private he isn't big on pda.)

Deuce- he has this little game with Grim where Grim tries to get him jealous but Deuce waits his turn like a good little boy and gets twice as many kisses and compliments as Grim does. Idiot falls for it every time and Deuce is way to smug about it for Yuu not to notice.

Only a Little Jealous

Ruggie- is aware enough of himself to know he has no reason to see Grim as competition. Everyone likes spoiling kids, even bratty ones, but hey. Ruggie is a greedy guy and he wants to be spoiled by you, even if he is a bit too shy to admit it.

Cater- you spoiling Grim is very camable and Cater loves taking pictures of it; even if he doesn't have your permission to post them he just likes to have them to look at. But on days where Cater is a bit more depressed it can be hard to watch, he needs some tlc to recharge and he will never say he hates seeing it go to Grim- he does hate seeing it go to Grim.

Epel- really wishes Yuu would hang out with him because they think he is cool... but cool guys like being told they're handsome and getting kisses too... right? Well doesn't matter because he does and he is torn between playing cute to get it and hoping he wakes up buff enough to flirt with Yuu the way he wants.

Silver- he isn't aware that he is jealous because he knows why he shouldn't be, he has animals following him around everywhere so it would be hypocritical of him to be jealous of the attention you give Grim. But he is, he really likes your affection and is jealous for it.

In Denial

Vil- world famous super model Vil Schoenheit does not get jealous, people get jealous of him. And he certainly does NOT get jealous of monsters who aren't real rivals for your attention and he does not look at how you spoil Grim and think to himself how nice it would be to be able to be that free with his affection. On a completely unrelated note are you free in about an hour? He has some lipsticks he needs to swatch.

Jade- let's get one thing straight, Jade never gets actually jealous he just pretends to be because it's funny. He definitely is not watching you kiss Grim's little face and actually think of throwing him halfway across campus. Now if you could just look the other way for a second- oh why are you looking at him like that he would never actually hurt Grim. But just to make sure maybe you could buy him off with a kiss? Pretty please?

Sebek- thinks that he is above being jealous but has that ruffled wet cat look complete with the trembling lower lip as soon as he sees you and Grim. He isn't fooling anyone, please also spoil the croco he will call you an idiot but he is only doing that because he is too flustered to talk properly.

Jack- you are his mate, his one and only, the moon in the sky that is his life so why oh why does watching you spoil Grim make him want to die? Maybe it's because it is a bit hard for him to admit when he wants your affection so seeing you be so free with Grim makes those same words bubble up in his throat. Thank goodness he has a tail, otherwise you would never know when he wants a smooch.

Riddle- touch starved? Check. Proud? Check. Obsessed with rules to the point that it makes him a bit stiff when it comes to how he rationalizes his desires for affection? Oh you don't even know. He doesn't realize what he is feeling is jealousy and just assumes Yuu is breaking some sort of rule of social etiquette and that's why he is so mad at Grim. If he gets a kiss out of this he will probably pass out.

Visibly Seething

LEONA- is a petty bitch. He needs to feel like he is in charge and has a weird sort of competition with Grim because of how vaguely feline he is. Leona is the bigger cat so he should be the one Yuu is kissing on and not the whiny baby. leona says fuck them kids

Floyd- Floyd isn't always jealous. Sometimes he thinks watching Yuu spoil Grim is really funny! Just look at baby seal, all whiny and spoiled just like a real baby, so cute ♡ But when he has decided that he, Floyd, is the one who should be receiving kisses the eel is an absolute menace. Running won't help you.

Azul- he is touch starved and repressed and while it should be cute watching you spoil Grim... he doesn't think it is. Or rather he can't, he is too caught up in white knuckling his grip on his cane because oh seas he wishes that were him, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LET THAT BE HIM

Jamil- thinks he is playing it smooth and isn't coming off as jealous at all but he is. I once wrote that he would be jealous of the air you breathe and Grim is much more solid than that. He tries to play off his interruption as him just having had a rough day but Grim knows what he is and is not impressed. he totally sticks his tongue out at grim when yuu isn't looking what a loser

Ace- Grim has this weird game he plays with Ace where he behaves extremely well and gets a bunch of kisses and praise while Ace seethes in the corner until he finally snaps and whines for your attention. Ace does not wait his turn like a good boy and he and Grim are constantly competing for who gets the most kisses.

Malleus- Mal Mal is a bit of a spoiled brat. He hasn't had a lot of friends, so him wanting to be around Yuu and have their attention whenever he wants is natural but... he really isn't the best at sharing. But never mind that isn't his face much more kissable than Grim's child of man? (￣ε￣)

C-c-combo

Idia- no I didn't forget hims shut up. He goes through all four stages in that exact order. Not jealous because Mr. Grim is so cute he deserves all the kissies in the world, to a little jealous because he wishes Grim would let him spoil him too, to in denial because pssh there's no waaay you would ever want to give a weeb like him kisses or think he was handsome, to outright seething because Grim starts making fun of him. He is too brave enough to handle Yuu's affection! He instantly passes out after he gets one kiss
