oki so lately i’ve been feeling rlly stressed and stuff when it comes to drawing

like, basically it’s felt like a chore? idk if that’s the right word or not but- basically i think i’m going to stop taking drawing requests

lemme just describe my feelings to y’all rq-

i love to draw, but lately i’ve been less and less focused on drawing what i wanna draw and more focused on i think y’all would like

and if i feel like something just- fails in some way, i get all upset about it (like the eye drawing i did, still not a big fan of it btw-)

i just wanted to let y’all know that none of y’all have ever contributed to these feelings (that ik of- but i srsly doubt it)

this is all me and my anxiety and perfectionism

it’s me getting scared of having my head bitten off because smth wasn’t of my usual standards or of my usual quality

anyways- enough ranting, i love each and every one of you so so much

3 june 2024—vroom vroom, i dare say ❤️‍🔥🏍✨️

this was the first day of my practical motorcycle driving lessons. hihi. i was so nervous but at the same time supah excOited!! we first had a litol written exam, and i got 9/10. hehe. i also found out that im the onliiiii beginner student sa batch namin since most of them went for the advance classes.

they told me (((classmates and instructors))) that im actually a fast learner bc i can now already ride both automatic and semi-automatic motorcycles. i learned how to ride both in a day!! hehe. srsly, though, even i was amazed and impressed with myself bc i rlly thought it will take me a while to balance, control, and maneuver a motorcycle. turns out, im a-okie. hihi.

ang funny nga pag ini-imagine ko yung first alone ride ko kasi it was similar to me learning how to ride a bike. yung instructor ko naka-alalay pa sa likod ko, telling me to turn on the engine blah blah blah tapos biglang na-notice ko na lang parang ang layo na ng boses niya kasi bumitaw na pala siya, my gosh. wahahahahahahaha.

enihoot, for the next three lessons, i'll be focusing on learning how to drive a motorcycle that has manual transmission since that's what im actually going to drive once i get my license.

ang saya-saya. huhu. ang saya-saya to the point na nakaka-iyak kasi ive been learning a bunch of new skills like puh-lease, as a matatakutin and a worrier, im just so happy na im finally taking steps to actually exploring new stuff.

p.s. i had lunch at peri-peri ugh ang sarap!! and then i did a quick grocery run kasi we ran out na pala of tissue paper and wet wipes for the furbebis whOops and then dumaan na rin me coco milktea bc why the hedgehog nawt 😘🧋

Lately Milgram has been spinning inside my head like the annoying sound of a fork scratching a ceramic plate and a hamster relentlessly and tirelessly running on its wheel and tbh I both love it and hate it

T3 was like. A jumpscare to me and I haven't been able to shake it off my mind, specifically the situation with Mikoto

Anyway, the situation with Mikoto's DID and crime has been on my mind a lot?? Like I think he has a lot of potential and despite him having fallen on the "omg my alter is a killer" trope at least John was represented to have his own thoughts and genuinely care and want to protect Mikoto

Like, I feel like they focused more on the dilemma his DID creates rather than on the seriousness of his crime in itself?? Regardless of like. Whether if John did it

Like if that massacre on the train actually happened idk ily John but I wouldn't forgive that

And I feel like I hadn't worried abt that ambiguity until now bc I'm here believing like a fool he only killed two people who had started a fight with him and already had a theory behind why double was so violent and it was a massacre even tho technically I believe he killed no more than two people

U see, I believe in that one theory that claims that Mikoto used to be in like a gang when he was younger and said gang stalked him and some members tried to get him back?? Somewhat violently?? A switch to John could've occurred and said members would've counted as "random people that we're bothering mikoto" in john's perspective. Then in double since John doesn't really remember how many people he killed, and Mikoto's scared of him and believes he probably killed a lot of people, that he's evil, that he's murderous.. John ends up believing he may have killed a lot because Mikoto believes that and he personally doesn't remember well

Or idk!!!! Now that I'm typing this out I'm scared the theory I've been following to vote for him sounds silly???

And honestly it wasn't until now t3 I *actually* started reading other people's theories and opinions and stuff and tbh idk what to think anymoreee

HII sorry i couldn't get to this earlier in the day- it's a lot of typing and rambling so i'm gonna answer this piece by piece! thank you soso much for your questions/message, i love yapping about milgram bc it too spins inside my head like a hamster on its wheel. and that hamster's name is mikoto and he needs to explode immediately.

i agree that it was a great call of milgram to focus more on the aftershock of mikoto's slow system discovery and john's guilt and pain.. i feel like if there *had* to be a murderer in milgram who had did, they did it in the best way they possibly could've. john, while unstable and violent, is a sympathetic character. and he did show many signs in t2 that he had the capacity to become more level-headed and functional. (stopping and taking a breath when he realizes he's getting too angry, talking calmly with es even though he doesn't want to, making a clear case (until mikoto possibly dying is brought up), etc). ghhhh non-milgram au john is my roman empire for this exact reason... i want to see him struggle with his nature but still push through for mikoto's sake, and becoming more at peace thanks to it. but uhhh. he just got too silly.

i'm really on the fence about a lot of things with 09's case, how many people they killed, exactly why and where it happened, if there's a third alter, etc etc. his case is still vague enough that it could take a bunch of different directions. i remember really, really liking the gang theory too before double!! i think it still holds some merit, and could explain a bit of why mikoto is so hellbent on working hard and making a good image for himself- i think it's interesting, but idk, it seems like it's too late in the story now to add in this huge new plot point (unless milgram decides for the third trial that all the prisoners are gonna have some huge twist.) that's just my take though!! i kinda just want t3 to focus on mikoto himself and all the emotions he's going through now that john is gone and he's still no closer to understanding himself. all he knows is that he lost something precious and it's breaking his heart. i'd also love to see him crash out john-style in the vd and then slap a hand over his mouth in horror while apologizing profusely. both to es, and to himself/"himself" that had to hold all of it in.

even though i'm not 100% confident mido/any "third alter" exists, (for the same reason i don't think gang theory will be added), my own personal theory does involve him. i think it makes the most sense for mido to have been the "core"/original in childhood, and had mikoto split second as a fawn response to his father/upbringing/supporting his family/anything you wanna add in there that explains why he's Like That. mido and mikoto grow up and get out of that environment, and mikoto becomes host as mido is holding a lot of trauma and now wants to hide away. but subconsciously, he pushes mikoto to work harder out of his own fear of going back to that traumatizing place. so mikoto begins overworking himself, getting roped into a black company in the process, and things hit rock bottom. at their wits end, mido decides to carefully kill a boss/coworker/someone who's complicit in making mikoto's life harder. this is what we see in meme. (the planned murder, hiding evidence, clean up, etc). however, at the same time, john splits from the stress of this new environment. still in a "newborn" and very angry and emotional phase, john knows what mido did, and assumes that this is just what must be done to "save" mikoto. john, fueled by anger and borderline psychosis from his job, sees everyone as a threat/annoyance. so he switches in while on their way home from work one night, and just takes out as many people as he can. (this is what we see in double).

my theory has some weak areas and some of it is teetering on fanfic, but it's what i think makes the most sense in terms of mikoto's story/themes and how DID actually works. (which let's be real is probably not gonna be followed to a T in milgram anyways, but eh i don't really mind at this point)

as for the t3 dormancy/fusion/etc... i think john is dormant, as promised, but mannnn it would've been cool if they fused. it would've made mikoto's case much harder to vote for- he was voted innocent in t2 because it was john who did it, not him, but now they're one in the same... would've been juicy imo but yeah idk. i think it's just mikoto now. (albeit very broken and scared to the point of being unrecognizable)

oh and last thing you mentioned- mido's voice and personality. i think that if he is real, he's seen a loooot of shit and is probably very numb to most of it. i think he'd have a very flat and airy voice, speaking in as few words as possible, and dislike being perceived. bro just wants to be left alone while mikoto and john are singing their duets about yearning lol

this is all pretty much me just infodumping about my favorite character but hey i looove that i'll take any excuse to do that!! like i said earlier, he is my hamster in a wheel in my brain and i hope he explodes. if you or anyone reading this ever wanna chat more about 09/milgram/etc, my asks and dms are always open!! tysm for your questions and your kind words TwT
