VERSE OF THE DAY: ROMANS 10:14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?

THE MESSENGERS OF GOOD NEWS Pause for a moment and reflect on your role as a bearer of the good news. Are you actively sharing the love of Christ with those around you? Are you seeking to be a living testimony of His grace? You might read Paul’s call to "preach" in Romans 10:14 and think this call is reserved for a pastor, priest, or teacher. But our homes, workplaces, and communities can serve as pulpits of influence when we live surrendered to Him. In these seemingly ordinary spaces, we can share the love of Christ through a listening ear that brings peace to a troubled mind, a helping hand that lifts burdens, or a word of encouragement that rekindles hope. As a follower of Christ, you are qualified to share this hope and encourage others! What God desires is obedience and willingness to be a vessel of His Word. In the simplicity of everyday interactions, we become vessels of His love and messengers of the gospel. As believers, we have an integral role in sharing the gospel message of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit equips you. God chooses and empowers you. And the seeds you sow, even the tiniest ones, have the power to take root and spread the message of salvation.

God, use me to share Your love with those You have placed in my life. Give me boldness and grace. Direct my steos and actions to plant the seed of Your salvation. Equip and empower me with Your Spirit. In Jesus' name, Amen.

GOD'S GRACIOUS ABUNDANCE At the age of fifty-one, Ynes Mexia (1870-1938) decided to study botany, enrolling as a college freshman. Over her thirteen-year career, she traveled across Central and South America, discovering five hundred new species of plants. She’s not alone in her quest. Scientists discover nearly two thousand new plants each year. In Genesis 1, God took a formless, empty, and dark earth (v. 2) and created a place full of abundance. On the third day, God separated the waters to create dry land and began making it hospitable for humans by having “the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit” (v. 11). These were seed-bearing plants and fruit trees from which we could eat. God didn’t create just one type of fruit tree but an abundance. God isn’t only the Creator (v. 1); He’s also creative. He enjoys making different types of plants and animals and stars. If God cared only about giving us food, He could have made just one kind of seed-bearing plant. But God is extravagant and never does things in half measures. God’s abundance isn’t limited to His creation. He’s also generous with His grace. As Paul said, “The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 1:14). ACTS OF THE HOLYSPIRIT A STUDY IN ACTS ACTS 14 WHAT DOES IT SAY? Paul and Barnabas taught and did miracles in Iconium, Lystra, and Derbe and then went back through the cities to encourage the disciples to remain true to the faith WHAT DOES IT MEAN? God enabled Paul and Barnabas to perform miracles, which offered validity to their message of God’s grace through Jesus. Everything they did was in His name—the thought of accepting the honor for what only God could do caused their deep grief. Paul was willing to be humiliated rather than assert the rights of Roman citizenry after being stoned. When people came to faith in Christ, he did not steal the spotlight by looking for sympathy in suffering or personal praise. Instead, he remained aware of how God could use him, responded when led by the Holy Spirit, and gave God all the glory. HOW SHOULD I RESPOND? Modern American culture tends to be self-centered and self-serving. Most of us are quick to dodge blame and even faster to grab the glory. Even followers of Christ can fall into this kind of faulty thinking. To keep pride at bay, follow Paul’s example and shift your focus from personal praise to God’s purpose (1 Thess. 2:1-5). How willing would you be to volunteer at church if you received no recognition? What desire for personal recognition might God ask you to put aside for a greater purpose? Wholeheartedly give God credit for what He is doing through your obedience.

Daily Devotional:

Don't get tired of doing good

“Let's not get tired of doing good, because in due time we will reap if we don't give up. (Galatians 6:9)

Can we get tired of doing good? This may seem strange, but we can. The world oppresses every good deed that points towards Christ. How does he do it? Through ingratitude, debauchery, injustice and lack of recognition. Every time we don't get the expected response when helping someone we get demotivated and we may want to "throw in the towel." Keep calm.

Remember that every reward is a gift from God and not from men. We are saved by his grace, not by our actions.

When we measure our help we measure our blessings. Jesus did the greatest good without making sense of people or measuring efforts as to who he could help.

When we do good without expecting anything in return, we do what Jesus would do. He taught his disciples to practice good without brag in order to be honored by others. Many people may not recognize it, but God, who sees everything, will reward you. He is fair, he is faithful. Keep doing good!

It's good to do good:

*Talk to Jesus. Talk to him about what's going on in your heart. He is the source of all good.

*Do all things as if you did them for God. *Even if men don't recognize it, God sees all things and will reward you at the right time.

*Renew your strength by reading the Word of God. It is the right fuel to continue walking in faith practicing good.

*Practice good without expecting anything in return. This is an attitude that liberates, and God will surprise you.

To pray:

Lord my God, I confess that sometimes I have been tired and even discouraged. Father, I want to continue practicing good and helping my neighbor. It lits a flame in me that stimulates me to do more and more for people who need help, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

yeelight homebrige

紀錄一下 用樹梅派將yeelight燈泡弄成 homebrige 讓apple 家庭連結

步驟如下 :

安装 Node.js

wget https://nodejs.org/dist/v16.12.0/node-v16.12.0-linux-armv7l.tar.gz tar -xvf node-v16.12.0-linux-armv7l.tar.gz cd node-v16.12.0-linux-armv7l sudo cp -R * /usr/local/

2.安装 Avahi 和相关依赖软件包

sudo apt-get install libavahi-compat-libdnssd-dev

3.安装 HomeBridge 和相关依赖软件包

sudo npm install -g --unsafe-perm homebridge hap-nodejs node-gyp

cd /usr/local/lib/node_modules/homebridge/

sudo npm install --unsafe-perm bignum

cd /usr/local/lib/node_modules/hap-nodejs/node_modules/mdns

sudo node-gyp BUILDTYPE=Release rebuild

4.添加 Yeelight 配置文件

sudo npm install -g homebridge-yeelight

cd /home/pi/.homebridge/

sudo nano config.json

將下列程式碼貼入

最後執行homebridge

在第三步有機會遇到npm 與node 版本不符合問題，可以嘗試更新npm or node (或者直接在第一步的版本選擇較新版)

目前燈泡可以使用家庭 控制但並不穩定，有時候會出現無法連接的狀況

需要再yeelight app 中重新開啟區域模式，並且關閉yeelight app 才可以重新連接上
