Ok, i know there are some people who aren't compleatly into the whole (other fandom)/DC trope, some examples being DP/DC or SM/DC or ML/DC.

But let's talk about ML/DC, Miraculous Ladybug and the Batfam.

I don't exactly love it, but i don't hate it, actually, it has much potential to have very interesting fics, but it just goes wasted.

And i think one of the main reasons the potential gets wasted is because of the same reason the potential in the actual ML series gets wasted too, we're focusing way too much and only in the wrong main character.

I'm talking about Adrien, please let's talk about how much potential that has.

I'm not saying i don't want Mari in the fics, it's just that normally, She gets adopted by Bruce, and then she dates one of the Batkids, or sometimes even Conner, and i feel like that's it.

But if you're gonna put Mari with the Bats, at least give me Adrien Kyle.

Yes, give me a Cat Woman's sidekick Chat Noir.

And then we could even keep going with the Bat&Cat dynamic but now with Mari and Adrien.

I want Selina adopting a traumatized French kid, i want her mentoring him, i want her calling him her kitten, i want people to notice how alike they are in many ways.

Because honestly? I'm surprised i have never seen or heard anyone talk about this before, why hasn't anyone seen it?? It's rigth there!!

So yeah, i need somone to write an Adrien Kyle fic, please. I am on my knees. I am begging.

I've been reading a lot of Batfam crossovers and I really enjoy them! Danny Phantom, Spider-Man and Miraculous Ladybug.

Right now, I'm reading miraculous Ladybug because I have younger family members, and they love that shit. However, I've noticed that with fics that the main character would usually be Marinette.

And I was like, "????" Because one person fit better, and to me, that's Adrien. Kids got so much trauma that he'd fit right in!

Imagine Adrien telling the batfam that he was a sentimonster. That his father used rings to control everything you do. Imagine him telling them that his father was practically severely abusive and neglectful to the point he'd thought some of those things were normal.

Imagine him just randomly acting like a cat due to the miraculous side effects. I love him just having a lot of cat features to the point that he's considered a cat meta.

Imagine him mentioning Chat Noir stuff. But casually, to hide his identity.

Adrien: Dying wasn't too bad.

Batfam, concerned: You’ve died before?

Adrien: yeah atleast *counting how many times he could remember* 5 times... probably more

Batfam: w h a t

Like I'd love Adrien to be in the Batfam instead of Marinette, don't get me wrong, I love her, but imagine.

Tim trains Chat Noir in the Bo-staff, Catwoman teaches him how to be sneaky (he becomes her favorite). Dick and him make puns every battle. Damian uses him to attract as many cats as possible.

Duke is no longer the only meta style teen, Jason has another member who has a more destructive way of dealing with things.

Cass has a new member to bond with, terrible fathers who cared but not in a good way. Steph sees another goofy member who knows how to lighten up. Bruce sees a boy young and innocent but has still seen too much. Like every child he's come across.

Give me more Adrien in Gotham fics. He's literally perfect for the Batfam. If anything, Marinette should go to Superfam. She's the day to Chat Noirs night like how Superman is the day to Batmans night.

Very, very long rant. I like Adrien, I need him to have an actual father figure who won't completely fuck him up.

Anyways... I'm actually begging for a fic to be made... someone spread this to someone because I know this app won't spread this to the people I need 😭

Yes, yes I do. Thank you SO much for asking!!! *realizes I don't remember any off the top of my head* Hold on one sec while I gather my thoughts

They. Are. Cat dads. A tabby here, a tux there, they have lots of cats in their apartment, and a few of them probably aren't even theirs. Jason's not sure if he's a fan, but he can live with a few cats if it pleases his favourite person. On the topic of cats, Adrien is Selina's favourite child, and Jason just absolutely looses it every time she brings him up. She's their Number 1 fan, but Adrien is canonically oblivious to EVERYTHING, and Jason straight up thinks this dude don't like him. Selina shakes her head because she's got dozens of cat friends, she knows their body language. They're head over heels.

Jason hates Gabriel (usually more angst if written in a bad dad Bruce fic), as he should. Has he tried to kill him multiple times? You can't prove anything. Has he had to lie to him to keep him away from Adri? Absolutely he has. Gabriel Agreste can go die in a hole for all he cares. Bring back good mom Emilie.

Sometimes Jason will have panic attacks in the bathroom, looking in the mirror, days where the Lazarus rage is boiling inside him, threatening to break through. Days where it's bad enough for it to show in his eyes. Those days, Adrien sits him down, tells stories about running across rooftops, bantering with his friends, helping people. Those days, Jason has to remind himself that it'll be okay, because Adrien has green eyes, and he's the kindest person Jason knows.

Matagot AU

Adribat + GCS Headcanons

First time he met Harley and Ivy, like really met, not just a quick "hello," was after his dad got arrested.

Adrien was only going to stay in Gotham for a few months, a year at the most. For the first month or so, he would shift between hotels, shelters and staying on the streets. Sleeping in the morning and staying up at night under the care of Catwoman.

Selina knew something was up with Adrien and ended up doing her own investigation. After some gentle nudging, she was able to get him to tell her what was happening, confirming what she learned, and after some more gentle nudging, got him to agree to live with her, Harley and Ivy.

Harley liked Adrien as soon as she saw him. Selina may have called dibs, but like hell was she just gonna let the cat have him to herself. She'll be the best aunt he ever knew!!

They walk Bud and Lou together. It took some time for Adrien to get used to them and for them to get used to Adrien, but Harley's happy to have another walking buddy.

He's never even met the Joker, but after hearing about him from Harley, Ivy and Selina, Adrien knows it'll be on sight. Fuck the Joker.

Ivy does her best to answer any questions Adrien has about her plants. Doesn't matter how simple or complex, she's willing to answer.

She also gets him into gardening. He has a small area he can work on. They work together to get plants he can keep. It's mainly venus flytraps and a lot of cacti.

While Matagot is mainly seen with Catwoman, sometimes people spot him with Harley and/or Ivy.

People are used to seeing a new bat/bird added to the Batfam. There are socials dedicated to spotting a new one and figuring out if it is a new one or if it was an old one with an upgrade. So when they saw Matagot, they thought he was part of the Batfam (which, technically could be correct, depends on who you ask).

↑ No one was expecting him to be waiting on Catwoman. Some thought he was waiting to catch her, but when she handed him a duffle bag and they both booked it when Batman and Robin showed up, they realized: ah, the cat adopted a kitten.

↑ that officially got the tag Batdad VS Catmom to trend. People were fighting over who was the better parent for "strays."

Harley takes advantage of her psychology degree and offers to give Adrien some well needed therapy.

It takes him some time, but he does eventually open up to her. His sessions usually happen when they're taking Bud and Lou out for a walk. Harley listens as he opens up about his childhood, the expectations put upon him, the constant disappointment, feeling like he wasn't really worth it despite there being people (Marinette, Kagami, Felix, Chloe at one point, etc.) who told him he was. How he felt lonely even when he wasn't alone. How he was never given the answers he sought out, they didn't have to give him the full answer if it would risk something. But, was he that untrustworthy that they couldn't even let him in a little? Somedays he wonders if taking the cat miraculous back was worth it. Because somedays, somedays he's scared of falling asleep and waking up to Plagg being gone again. Only this time there would be no one on his side to help him fight for his miraculous and kwami back. This time, the horse miraculous might be used. It'd be a quick voyage and...

Being into DC and not ML is really funny when looking at AO3, but it does force me to ask why Marinette always ends up adopted by the bat family (black hair and blue eyes, i get it) but Adrien never ends up adopted by Catwoman. His name is literally Chat Noir (Black Cat). Its Right There. He has mommy issues and everything.

Gotham's New Stray

Gotham Menagerie Menace AU: 1 | 2

-Lila swore off the ‘sausage tails’ hairstyle but by god she’s breaking that vow if only so she could use them to strangle Marinette.

-The past month has been an absolute shitshow circus.  Somehow, LB managed to defeat Hawkmoth who turned out to be Gabriel (jfc, just when she thought the asshat couldn’t sink lower) but *gasp* CN has betrayed her! Worse, Adrien is gone!

-So far, no one, not even LB herself, specified what ‘gone’ meant. Was he missing? Was he dead?? Nobody knows and it’s killing them.

-Poor Marinette is naturally heartbroken & worried sick and oh, it’s so romantic how she’s holding onto hope. Just look at the shrine she made for Adrien!

-(Lila will bet her entire Venetian Mask collection that she isn’t the only one who wants to burn the embodiment of a stalker’s delusions & entitlement to the ground.)

-Chloe was throwing money at PIs but with the Hawkmoth revelation, Andre wanted nothing to do with Gabriel, much less his son.

-Felix doesn’t believe he’s dead. Call it stubbornness, call it desperation, call it faith: Adrien was tenacious long before he got the miraculous with an animal said to have 9 lives.

-More importantly, Adrien would Cataclysm himself before betraying Paris (yes, he & the others know bcz secret IDs are bloody overrated).

-Lila, Chloe, Zoe, Nino, Nath, Marc, Felix & Luka are determined to get to the bottom of this but where do they start?

-Their first lead comes in the form of Nathalie.

-Nathalie, who tells them the instructions she gave Adrien; who also shows them the peacock & butterfly miraculous.

-When Adrien Cataclysmed his sperm donor (damn it, all of them would’ve paid to see that), Nooroo barely hid inside his miraculous in time to avoid damage. Luckily, his dormant state made it easier for Nathalie to snatch him & Duusu before LB could.

-Although very suspicious, they begrudgingly accept her help. An adult would make a better scapegoat cover anyway.

-While the others prepare to leave, Felix reaches out to his Gotham pen pal.

F: I’m coming to Gotham. D: And others say my humor is lackluster. F: I’m not kidding. D: And I’m not laughing. D: You’re also not the type to do something without reason. F: Damn right I’m not. I need your help.

-Before leaving, Nathalie tells them one last thing: she’ll hold onto the peacock (she’ll be damned if she lets another kid suffer for her mistakes), but someone has to wield the butterfly. It’s not combat-orientated but being able to empower someone in a place like Gotham? A boon they can’t waste.

Nathalie: Which one of you will accept this responsibility? Chloe: .....just to clarify, Hawkbitch was wearing that like, 24/7? Nathalie: Yes. Chloe: I love Adrien but ew, no, not it. Others: Not it! Nathaniel: Not- damn it! Lila: Twas fate.

-They could’ve sworn they saw Nathalie smile.

Meanwhile in Gotham.......

-Adrien was adapting.

-He’s found a decent building to stay in (Gotham was full of abandoned buildings), got a job at a hole-in-the-wall café & even better, the city was a fresh start for his alter ego!

-Rather than mope around, he’s more determined than ever to continue being a hero. His dad being a villain means he has more to atone for & Gotham may be a slaughterhouse but she never dictated who could play savior.

-He’s established a routine. Whenever he doesn’t have to work at the café/ run errands, he’s prowling around as Stray. He wanders around, helping wherever & whenever needed; saving a stray cat from cruel assholes with nothing better to do, stopping a mugger, befriending other kids who have it rough, he goes where there's trouble which happens to be everywhere.

-(Lots of crime means lots of work that requires lots of focus! Lots of focus means lots of time & less to be spent lingering on many repressed issues/traumas waiting to bite his ass.)

-He becomes a bit of an urban legend. Slowly but surely, he’s welcomed into the community. It’s imperfect & dirty but the slot he’s carving for himself fits him so much better than Paris’s ever did.

-Back home (...? Dare he call it that?), he’s trying his best to take care of all the kwamis. Each were unique & there was never a moment’s peace but Adrien loved them. These tiny gods gave him companionship & guidance despite what his father’s done to one of their kin. 

-They try to teach him everything Fu didn’t & he’s lenient with them. His territory has more paraphernalia for their interests than his. When Adrien’s gone, they use fractions of their powers to chase away any would-be-robbers, giving Adrien’s building the ‘haunted’ status.

-Whenever someone he saves offers compensation, Stray usually asks for some food to feed himself & the kwamis.

-(They probably don’t mind giving food bcz there’s the saying abt feeding strays. But hey, him hanging around means extra protection. It’s a fair price to pay.)

-One night, while feeding a bunch of strays, he gets a visitor.

-Catwoman (he's totally not fanboying, he is.)

-Stray is surprised & a bit scared bcz shit, what if he’s done something wrong? Was he trespassing? Was he unintentionally mistreating the strays?!?!

-Catwoman was simply curious. She heard rumors of a ‘Stray’ lingering around the Narrows. She half-expected the mini menace to be some hotshot punk in over his head but-

-She knows.

-She knows how to spot the signs of abuse with a certainty as familiar as it is painful. She’s seen them all: abused animals, abused women, abused children, abused partners.

-The kit covered it with puns, cockiness & charisma but he wasn’t fooling her.

-It wasn’t just the matching theme. They clicked & before he knew it, they were sitting together on rooftops every night to feed & pamper the strays. Some nights, they sat in companionable silence; others they gossiped & bantered each other into a friendly spar.

-Maybe it was the loneliness & lack of human companionship but Stray found himself looking forward to their nightly hang outs.

-Selina knew it wasn’t her place to take him in like Batman would've; but she tried to teach him some tips before the city’s cruelty could. The first time he appears with a cut on his cheek & a split lip, she doesn’t hesitate to treat his wounds.

-Stray wouldn’t call her a maternal figure (she's neither Emilie nor Nathalie), but he comes to view her as a reliable cool older sister/aunt figure. She was nothing like LB. They were parallel lines: heading in the same direction but never intersecting.

-He’s glad that he’s made a friend.

-But some nights, when he thinks the kwamis are asleep, all of them can hear him cry for the friends & lover he never got to bid goodbye to.

Or how Adrien found out his bio!parents were American furries., And his mother was a famous cat girl.

MLB and DC Bat fam batcat, Adrienette and ladynoir,

" imagine as a subversion of the Marinette bio daughter of Bruce. We have Adrien being BATCATS biological child.

Born before Helena, and before Bruce and Selena were ready to tie the knot for realsies.

Selina was young, Bruce wasn't in the right mindset after Jason's death. Boundaries were drawn and lines were crossed.

She thought she was fine. Until she started puking in the morning during her Trip to France

It was positive

She was pregnant.

During her trip she stumbled across a loving family. At a swingers party (this was during the early stages before she decided)

At one point she wasn't going to keep the pregnancy but then while her trip around France found a lovely couple named Emile and Gabriel.

They were so loving and kind to her. Emilie even joked that they could be twins.

)she had decided to grow her hair out and stop dying her hair black. Nobody would recognize her and on the plus side Selina had absolutely ravishing blonde hair. )

She wasn't planning on keeping the pregnancy but then she heard the couples plight.

Emile was infertile. And Gabriel too. But they really wanted a child

they were so loving and kind and supportive that Selena felt it would be best she gave her child the life of a child that was wanted.

Both were deeplly loving. But they didn't want to be intrusive , They argued against the idea but Selina made up her mind.

she would keep the pregnancy, give the couple a chance to raise a bouncing baby child that they would love and adore.

Selina never felt like she was cut out to be a mother butShe still visits.

At least once a year for his birthday.

She even was Even labeled godmother of her son should both the parents be unfit for her sons. She was still a part of her child's life.

All was going well until the incident

------years later----

Now imagine, Selina Kyle finds out her son was in a worse position, his father is emotionally neglectful now and is in a downward spiral trying to find a way to save his wife at the cost of his own son's happiness.

and get the bat family to help , (save Adrien, fight Gabriel advocate for him to be taken to either home or emancipation. )

imagine him being the Only blonde in the family other then Steph and Bette. (Who I will keep in the family)And they all thinks he's the normal one."

Imagine what dick (who is fully grown and married to Starfire) would think about his mentor having a blonde bio child

And she only takes him away after he hires her to steal the miraculous.
