I have the need to read a Rom-com where Reader and Bruce have been raising the kids together but aren’t in a relationship. She is his assistant, a good friend if you stretch it, and the tension has been visible to everyone. Bruce knows that she knows he is Batman, but they’ve never acknowledged it. They are so committed to maintaining a good work dynamic that their feelings have remained unspoken.

The kids want them to be together, but both are so stuck in their dynamic that no plan works. Even the old ladies of society have bets on when himbo Brucie Wayne will realize he has a winner at his side. They absolutely take offense when manwhore Bruce Wayne invites another lady to a gala.

“I don't know how you keep up with him, sweetheart.”

Reader thinks they’re talking about work, but the ladies just keep glaring at Wayne (sometimes even Jason joins them. Bruce has a hate club? He's in).

Here’s where the K-drama plot twist comes in: she sends in her two weeks’ notice. Bruce is devastated, trying to throw money at the problem, and everyone thinks she’s quitting because she’s tired of cleaning up Bruce’s mess and waiting for a man who’s never told her he’s in love with her. But that’s not it; Reader has finally reached her money goal and is retiring 15 years ahead of schedule! She’s going to travel and drink so many daiquiris!

Even after she shares her plan, everyone insists she’s leaving because of heartbreak. But she’s fine! Yes, she loves her boss, but she never deceived herself into thinking they’d start a relationship. She loves him, but her life doesn’t revolve around that. She’s perfectly fine on her own.

So while she’s at her happiest, Bruce is at his lowest. Still, he does nothing, because he believes she’s better off without him.

What makes Bruce get his act together?

“Where are you going, kids? And in tuxedos?”

“God, you never listen!"

" To the wedding. Jason is walking Reader to the altar.”

Bruce? devastated.

The kids? confused by his reaction while Cassandra signs to hurry up.

It’s not a real wedding; it’s a school project, a short film for Damian’s art class. None of the other moms from his classmates wanted to be filmed, so of course he asked Reader. She has acted like their mom at school events for years.

While everyone enjoys the day filming, Bruce is spiraling, gripped by a fierce need to disrupt the wedding... but does Reader even love him? He knows he hasn’t been fair, dating other women and expecting Reader to always be there.

But this is nothing like the two weeks’ notice. He at least had the assurance she’d stay in his life through the kids. But a wedding? That’s it... if she marries is over, it’s really over.

Before he knows it, he’s running, takes his fastest car, and calls Barbara, begging for the kids’ location. (She’s so confused by the urgency; didn’t anyone tell him where the shoot was?)

So Bruce Thomas Wayne storms into the church barefoot, in sweatpants, a white T-shirt, messy hair, and screaming at the top of his lungs.

“I love you! I’ve always loved you! Please don’t leave me...”

A loud noise resounds. Reader’s wedding dress starts to turn red with blood, and Bruce loses it, screaming for someone to call 911. He gathers her in his arms, ugly crying, begging her to forgive him, to stay with him.

“Damn it, Father! You ruined the scene!”

They were filming a horror film.

“Please tell me you filmed everything!” hollers Jason. “The old crones are gonna love this!”

“Does this mean Bruce is a pick me girl?” asks Duke.

“Nah, this means he is an idiot,” answered Stephanie.

Cass just kept giggling quietly with a big smile.

“I waited years for this!” proclaimed Dick in tears.

Tim? He just sips his coffee, satisfied that Damian asked him to be his photography director, because sure as hell he got all the right angles.

So while Bruce is catching that all this is a production, Reader is laughing in his arms with delight.

“I love you too, Bruce.”

The kids know he is gonna forgive the humiliation, because the next thing the camera is filming is both of them kissing.

So while Reader doesn’t get to take her long trip, she ends up drinking daiquiris with Bruce on their honeymoon.

Traveling with them, their mother’s corpse neatly packed in a suitcase. They just wanted to find a safe place for their beloved mother to finally rest.

Bloody Painter — “Don’t be excited for tomorrow.” — Helen Otis sought out Slenderman after realizing the police were hot on his trail. The pressures of life had built up, and all he wanted to do was create a new world from scratch. One filled to the brim with beauty and art. The world will bend to his will.

Ticci Toby — “Follows…” — After moving from Wisconsin to Alabama, Toby Roger’s life spiraled out of control. He had endured countless hardships, and the death of his sister was more than he could take. After burning it all to the ground, Slenderman gave him a place to seek refuge.

Jeff the Killer — “Go to sleep.” — Some people are dealt a shitty hand. Jeffery Woods’ life was standard, but that didn’t make it easy. In high school, things only got worse. At the hands of his peers he was burned alive. He survived, but his mind had completely shattered. He wants to pick up the pieces.

Homicidal Liu — “Today’s a better day.” — Liu Woods had always done his best to be a proper older sibling. He wanted nothing more to protect his younger brother. Maybe that’s why he barely fought back when his brother attempted to kill him. There was a moment of hesitation, and in that moment he ran. Slenderman had found him bleeding out, he promised he could keep him alive.

Eyeless Jack — “Do no harm.” — Jack Nyras had his whole life ahead of him. He was at university studying to be a doctor. However, unexpected things can happen at any moment. What was supposed to be a college party had turned into nothing short of cult activity, Jack being their ultimate sacrifice. He doesn’t remember much after their torture, only that Slenderman had found him bloodied and fundamentally changed in the forest.

Kate the Chaser — “Don’t look…or it takes you.” — Sometimes Slenderman sees potential. Slenderman saw great potential in Kate Milens. But not just anyone can become a proxy. Kate had gone through multiple trials without even knowing, always coming out favorably in the Slenderman’s opinion. Being so close to Slenderman, however, comes with symptoms… consequences.

Nina the Killer — “Go to sleep, my prince!” — Childhood friends with Liu, Jeff, and their friend Jane, Nina Hopkins was always a bright and cheery force of nature. Despite her efforts to get along with her peers, rumors had a way of creeping up. It was a good thing she had her friends to lean on. She always had her friends. She’d always have her friends. Friends don’t give up on each other.

Eyeless Lulu — “Gimme your eyes.” — Lucille-Tiffany Greatfeild never had luck making friends. It seemed no matter what she did, her peers found her weird. Growing up, she was a lonely child, however, going to college filled her with determination to break out of her shell and at least make a few acquaintances. She was befriended by a group of peers who were seemingly kind and caring, but sometimes things are too good to be true. Having heard of an new internet legend, they pressured Lulu into playing a stupid game, performing a silly ritual. They all paid the price.

Clockwork — “Time’s up.” — Natalie Ouellette came from a broken home. Ever since she was young, she was starkly aware of how unfair life can be. She had poor health as a child, often in and out of doctor offices due to various reasons, a bad flu or broken bones. Every time she exited the hospital, she heard the tick in her head, like her time was running out, being wasted, rotting away. As she grew up, this tick only got louder. Time was against her, and the abuse was getting worse. She had to do something. And she did do something. And then she ran.

BEN Drowned — “You’ve met with a terrible fate!” — Benjamin Lawman was a very lively boy. He loved making friends, drinking soda, and of course, frequenting arcades and internet cafes! Life for him was simple, it was perfect! But there are things that are out of your control, circumstances one is born into. Divorce is hard for the whole family to go through, but Ben had hope, an optimistic outlook. The look in his father’s eyes was scary as they drove to the lake alone, but his father was a rational man. Surely there was a rational explanation for all of this.

Sally — “Wanna play?” — Sally Williams had just turned 12! Her birthday party was held in Loblolly’s very own, new and shiny park! The year was 1973 and the summer air was warm and inviting. Sally had just finished opening her gifts, her favorite being a new teddy bear from her mom and dad. A true friend, soft and kind. While many kids showed up to her party, they didn’t have good intentions. One girl suggested they play a game before Sally got to the piñata. They blindfolded her, giggling and exclaiming, “We’ll guide you!” Really, they just wanted to see if they could get her lost. What they didn’t account for was the truck barreling down the road as they told her to cross it.

Lazari Swann — “I can do this!” — Lazari Swann never knew her mother and father. Her mother had died during childbirth, leaving her to the care of foster homes. She did her best. She made the best of any situation, always selfless, always helpful. But as she grew up, it gnawed at the back of her mind. Her father… where had he gone? Who was he? What did he look like? She only had one clue, a picture from her mother’s photo album with a location marked: Loblolly, Alabama. She’d get her answers one way or another.

Masky — “Always watches, no eyes.” — Tim Wright is a man of few words now. Not many know of how he came to be so reliable in the Slenderman’s eye, why he’s so guarded and keeps to himself, why he’s so close with Brian. They just know that his word is to be trusted, he knows what he’s doing. He is regarded as the most capable human in the mansion, and despite his attempts to keep everyone at a distance, many of the mansion’s inhabitants look to him for guidance.

Hoodie — “Can’t run.” — Brian Thomas is just as reliable, but because of his elusive nature, many don’t know how to read him quite right. He is more personable than Tim, handling most of the talking when the two of them are together. Brian is easy going, despite his circumstances, and can even crack a few light hearted jokes. But no one really knows much about him. Still, people in the mansion recognize his survivability and will take his guidance if Tim isn’t around.

Nurse Ann — “It won’t hurt… much.” — In the 1800s, there was a hospital in the woods of Loblolly, and Ann Lusen Mia worked there. She was a dutiful nurse, very caring and dedicated to her job. She believed in the good of humanity, and cherished being able to care for the sick and injured. A doctor within the hospital, a colleague of hers, informed her that he was working on a new method of care and asked her to be a part of it. She agreed, enthusiastic for the progress of medicine. Little did she know she would be the experiment. As she felt herself dying, she pleaded with any entity she could to help her, save her, and that was enough for Zalgo to offer her a deal.

Laughing Jack — “Round and round the mulberry bush…!” — The Laughing Jack is a mystery to many. He is a demon, taking the form of a monochrome clown with many nonsensical traits. He speaks in riddles and rhymes for the most part, always eccentric and mind-bending. He thoroughly enjoys being a nuisance to humans, a pest, a bother, but when it comes to more sensitive people or children, he can actually be quite a sweetheart. His morals are unknown to anyone as he is not tied to Slenderman or Zalgo and acts on his own accord. He seems to favor Slenderman though, for whatever reason, and so he has become a trusted ally!

Slenderman — “…” — The Slenderman’s origins are unknown. He has existed for thousands of years. After a gruesome battle with the underworld’s ruler, Zalgo, Slenderman was severely weakened. The battle ended in a stalemate, though it was surely in Zalgo’s favor. Too close to a victory for Slenderman’s liking. At the end of their battle, Slenderman had used most of his energy to lock Zalgo in the underworld dimension for good, but his seal wasn’t perfect. Many zalgoid creatures can still access earth, but as long as it’s not Zalgo himself, he has time. He started taking in lost and weary souls in hopes of building an army. He feeds off negative energy, his mansion feeds off negative energy, the forest feeds off negative energy. But what he didn’t expect was that these beings, human and possessed and undead alike, have started making him feel. He cares for them. And this care might be just what he needs to get rid of Zalgo for good.

im curious on ur opinions of armada starscream? or just starscream ever getting a "redemption" in general

I haven't watched Armada yet, but I absolutely love Starscream's redemption arc in idw.

The moment when Starscream goes out in public and loudly and honestly and clearly lists everything he's done and every crime he's guilty of? Oof that was strong and that was awesome.

And everything leading up to that? His gradual realization that he's his own biggest problem? And that in order to make things better around him, he has to change himself first? The way he tries to do the right thing with his old "evil" methods and gradually comes to the realization that you can't build a new house out of old moldy bricks? It's beautiful. I'm a big fan.

Starscream from Earth Spark, however...well...even if we pretend season two and three don't exist, I think his arc is still terribly underdeveloped. Is Starscream doing something good a new behavior for him or has he always been like this? I don't know, the show hasn't given me any basis for comparison. I don't know if he's gotten better, because I've never seen him be worse in the first place.

Something like that.

Little side note, If I could magically remake Earthspark I would make it about Dot, her husband and Twitch doing adventures with the Autobots and Decepticons. Cut out all other Terrans and Maltos. Give their screen time to Screamer and Megs and Tarantulas and Idk. Croft? Croft was so underdeveloped I kept forgetting she was even there.

Another side note. It was some time since I watched tfes and read Idw. I may be remembering some things a bit wrong

the fact that vinsmoke j*dge called his kids (- sanji) “his masterpieces” implies that judge only sees the vinsmoke siblings as a project and a thing to show off rather than his children who are human beings (genetically modified or not). one could argue that instead of judge loving his children, he loves what they represent: power and science. they’re merely just extensions of his research

still doodling btws, just very distracted by the new loom. My headcanon is that Yor just, gets knitting. Like dude it would be so fucking cute if she was taught how to knit when she was young, even better so if her mother taught her the very basics. But then war happens, parents die, she doesn't have the time or money to spend on buying yarn. But then years later, she picks it back up. Teaches Anya the basics, same as her mother once did. Maybe takes a class at a local yarn shop, gets better and better, dude she can even go and knit and hangout with the Authens. And this old craft helps her reach out and bond with more people.

And then Loid inexplicably doesn't get it. He definitely tries, but like..... he thinks he can go and like. watch tv or read something while he knits. But like he can't like, balance his attention incorrectly between the tasks and will drop stitches or add them randomly. And his perfectionist ass wants to frog everything and start again but he would literally never get anything finished. He gets an impressive 20 rows in once and realizes he added a stitch forever ago and he just decides fuck it we ball and just keeps going. Don't even ask about finishing and binding off a project, he tries once and its painfully tight, he undoes it and asks Yor to help him.

And of course Yor takes the scarf and loves it

On days when I struggle with kindness, I think about Xie Lian and Yin Yu.

The thing is kindness is hard to execute. It's even harder to think. On days when I imagine mean things to say to mean people, I fear I'd become cruelty. The more mindfulness I cultivate, the more aware I am of my own ability to be just like them.

Xie Lian asked, "You didn’t think that I might have harbored those thoughts deep down inside? Maybe I do have some resentment hidden.”

“Thoughts are thoughts. You wouldn’t have acted on them,” Hua Cheng said.

And isn't that the Truth? Coming from Hua Cheng, one who had seen Xie Lian almost choose cruelty in his lowest moments, knew, knew more than Xie Lian himself, that he'd always choose kindness.

'Thoughts are just thoughts. Cruel thoughts don't have to lead to cruel actions.'

Kindness is also very lonely. In a world where people act without compassion and speak without restraint, everything feels harsh some days. No one offers you the consideration that you work so hard to hold for others.

The State Preceptor rubbed his forehead. “... trust me, people will carry on doing what they need to do and will not be touched by your actions nor use you as an example."

But they were touched by his actions. Even if it didn't change fate, it changed people. It touched their hearts.

When I am frustrated, thinking why am I the only one who cares, deep down, I know it's not true even if it feels like that some days. Many care.

'I am not the only one in anything in life.'

Still, I fear some days. I fear the world will steal my kindness. Funnily enough, those who care are always scared and ashamed. After all, there's no reward or motivation for it. It's hard to think, hard to execute, and therefore, hard to choose.

Xie Lian said, "I just don’t think it’s right for someone to have been kind but still meet a bad end. I don’t think it should have ended up this way."

I've held the same opinion and been bothered by it a lot over the years. It's unfair, isn't it? Despite being the right choice, why doesn't kindness lead to a good ending? I don't know the answer, to be honest.

'Maybe it does, and I am not able to see it because "the good" doesn't always take the shape I am aware of.'

Overall, it's quite inconvenient. So, why choose kindness?

I guess, the only way to know why choose kindness is to walk The Path. If I have already made a choice, might as well see it through.

Like Yin Yu, I have always wanted to be perfectly kind. It's an impossible dream. I can't be. I have regrets and resentments. I have biases and emotions. But I am learning that following my principles is enough.

Xie Lian smiled wistfully. “San Lang, things aren’t always that absolute. Sometimes, it’s not up to you to decide if the road is easy to walk.”

“I might not be able to decide if the road is easy, but whether I walk it is entirely up to me,” Hua Cheng said quietly.

Even if it's frustrating, it's the only path worth taking (to me).

Y'all know about those fanfictions where Nico (with Reyna and later on Will,since it's mostly done in Solangelo fanfic) and the Seven are the best of friends?

Yeah,I hate those.

During MoA and HoH they were extremely judgmental and scared of him,all of them,even Hazel (it was one time thing at least for her),and having ffs where they are a large group of inseparable friends takes away from that. I can understand when those are AU or a different retelling of the story,but when you put it in a continuation of the canon narrative in HoO....it's a big N O for me.

Let me explain.

Jason –> until Cupid decided to be an ass and making Nico coming out in front of him,Jason's didn't trusted him. Percy told him his whole story life (which is completely wrong and out of character for Percy to do so,I don't know what Rick was thinking when he wrote this) but Jason still was doubtful about him. We all know that in MoA he and Leo argued about whether or not taking a risk to save him,because they don't know where his loyalties lie. That's another famous plot point talked about to this days. And while I can understand their reasoning,I don't like it. Especially because Nico was dying,Hazel was in front of them worried about her brother,and almost 3 different gods told them already that Nico had the key to the Doors. The fact that Percy had to tell Jason about all the shit that happened before,so that he could understand him better,is a bitter factor. And even after that,he thought it was Nico's fault when the "betrayal" in TLO happened (again,Hades's fault). Like the fuck? They rescued him and then? Half of HoH,when it cames to Nico,all of them,not only Jason,commented on his physique and way of eating after he was released from a jar,where he had been locked up for a week and had to balance only 5 seeds to stay alive. He probably developed an ED,but who cares when we can comment on how creepy pale and silent he is. Jason had to witness Nico having a traumatic event happen,in front of him,to start to see him more than the scary son of Hades. After that he started to be nice to him. Not before,after. Nico had every right to snap at him when they were blocked in the palace of that wind God. Jason was better later on with him,but his behavior wasn't a good one.

Leo -> together with Jason he is usually bashed because of the whole "Can we really trust him?" deal in MoA. And again,while I can understand their reasoning for this,I don't like it. Jason didn't know Nico,even if he sometimes popped out to visit Hazel,before the whole switch and memory loss,he still didn't know him. But while CJ was clueless of him while CHB fucking knew him. Before they realized where Percy was at the end of TLH,Nico was running alongside Annabeth into trying to find him. While they were out on their quest,Nico and Annabeth were still trying to locate Percy. And while Leo might not be really familiar to him,in 6 months they proprably met. Even if Nico's relationship with the whole Camp is rocky,they all still know him. Only a few were really his friends,sure,but they fought a war together not even half a year ago. And Leo also had a connection with Hazel. You think the guy that had a crush on a girl tried to help her into saving her brother,especially if said brother is part of his same camp,but nope. And after the rescue,he was always unsettled by his presence and often pointed out about how little he eat. They didn't had an interaction alone,and during group meetings,again,he pointed out how silent he was. Almost invisible. And mewhile,Nico was worried about him during BoO,especially after his "death". Didn't read ToA yet and I'm planning too,so I don't know if they are better in it.

Frank -> another one that was constantly scared and unsettled by him from the start. In SoN he compares Nico to Hazel,and specifies how Hazel is different from him,because she is nicer,he doesn't feel scared and he like her. Again,no one at CJ really knew him and Frank's thoughts are also influenced by his feelings for Hazel,but at least try to not be so....judgmental? Like,Nico is all of those things too but a few people know about it because they all judge him,and shun him away the first chance they get. In MoA at least he was on board to save him,and proprably would have shot Leo on the spot for suggesting something that upset Hazel. Again,he accepted for Hazel,not because there was a live in danger,and said demigod was their answer to the whole Doors problem. Then HoH happens and he also comments on how scary Nico is,and how creepy is the fact that he try to be one with the shadows all the time. How strange right? Especially after a whole ship look at you like some freak. Nico's fault,my bad. And the trip to Venice? If Frank was going alone with Hazel then everything is ok,but if Nico joins? Dear gods,Frank is unsure of going somewhere with a child of the Underworld with him,as if Hazel herself isn't one. The funny part? The only reason Nico ever went with them was because they needed help. Every single time. Venice? He could speak italian and asks the locals for informations,Venice is where he was born and lived before the war and Zeus. Croazia? Only a child of the Underworld can have the scepter and he didn't want to risk Hazel. In the House of Hades? That's his father temple,his home turf. But no,let's not talk about that. And when Hazel got hit by that katoblep? First thing that he thinks about is wanting to hurt Nico for even have let this happen. As if Hazel can't take care of herself and Nico wasn't fighting for his life too. Coming back to Venice with the acknowledge that he lived there and doesn't have his memories about it,mixed to the fact that he was still weak from Tartarus and the jar,the days of flying (while Hazel felt always sick in the ocean,Nico is more sick in the air),and could barely use his power without almost dying again is already traumatizing enough,what the fuck do you expect? It's a miracle that he was able enough to go on in that city. He also got turned into a plant,again,just because of who his father is. It's not only the demigods but also a random god in his own hometown that treat him like that. And Hazel's whole speech about the fact that "Nico might be a little unsettling sometimes but he is still my brother" to him? Nah,Frank shouldn't even had a speech to try and be a decent human being to him,like everyone else on that ship.

Hazel -> speaking of Hazel,I already talked about how her relationship with her new found brother is a little bit complicated,because of ghosts from the past,but in the end they will kill for each other. Hazel was ready to do anything it takes to get Nico back after she found out Gaia captured him. From SoN to MoA she was worried sick about him,both for his suicide mission and for the fact that he was captured. But that speech she gave to Frank? That was so out of character of her. They are both children of the Underworld,and during SoN she specified how both of them got treated (Hazel's a little better than Nico let's be real-) for who their father is and their powers. She knew about the pain of being different from the others,since she experienced heavy bulling by her classmates (not counting her mother's abuse too) before dying. They both share that pain together. And while they didn't had years of knowing each other,they understand and adapted to each other pretty quickly. And the whole speech of "I know that my brother can be scary and unsettling,but could you still try to be nice to him?" when Frank pointed out how Nico prefered to be alone and staying outside,instead of sleeping in Percy's cabin? I would understand if it was a situation of "Listen,my brother is like that and he has his reasons,you have no right to judge him for that." but it wasn't. Hazel herself thought that her brother was unsettling. As if she wasn't the same. I love her,I do,and their sibling bond is everything,especially during HoH,but this is something that she would never do. It was so out of character and Rick fucked up with this.

Piper -> Piper and Nico never had an interaction together,and if it's happen in ToA I don't know of it because I haven't read it yet. She was angry at Jason and Leo when,in MoA,they decided to talk about saving or not Hazel's dying brother and she was also on board to save him. When they saved him from the Jar she was the one that tried to get to him and protected him,while Jason and Percy dealt with the gaints. But again,in HoH it's everything about his pale skin and how underweight he is. And this is the same thing for Leo,Piper also knew him before taking off for her quest to save the world. She told Jason about how some of her sisters and campers think that Nico has a crush on Annabeth,since he was always there to help in her search for Percy. As a child of Aphrodite she is pretty empathic and when it's came to Nico's "love problem" she probably knew about his crush for Percy,but she never told anyone about it. After meeting Cupid and the whole forced coming out,Jason also has a feeling that Piper knew about it or that she suspected it. She proprably was one of the few that wasn't that bad to Nico,but still,her thoughts on his appearance weren't nice.

Annabeth and Percy -> those two weren't there with the crew during HoH,they were fighting for their life in Tartarus. Again,both of them were on board with saving Nico without a second question,even if Percy was still bitter about the fact that he lied to him (not his fault,if he told him the truth a whole war was going to happen before they could do something about it). I saw a lot of criticism for that scene since Percy is protective of his friends,and would had tried to punch Jason and Leo for even suggesting that Nico can't be trusted. While I can agree with that,Percy and Nico don't have that close brothely relationship that the fandom made out of them. They have their up and down, especially down,and blamed each other for things that weren't really their fault. What I can't stand is the fact that Percy decided to tell Jason,a stranger he just met,Nico's life story. Maybe he wanted Jason to understand that Nico was a good guy,or something like that,but this only made Nico's situation worst with him. The rivalry between Big 3's children wasn't enough,now a guy he didn't like tried to give him life lessons on his own life. Percy would never do that,no matter the situation or how much fractured his relationship with Nico is. Annabeth and Nico worked together for a couple of weeks. They both wanted to find Percy and Nico probably helped her a lot with how much areas his power can cover. She also thought that he had a crush for her,but she didn't like him because of his personality,and she already has Percy. When Nico confessed about his crush to him,in front of her,she even give him an high five. She wasn't that bad. And she,like Percy,knew him. She was there for (almost) everything that went down in his life. Both of them were saved,indirectly,by Nico. If he hadn't been a good friend to Bob,they would proprably be dead not even half away into that hell. And at least they both acknowledge that by the end of HoH. I firmly believe that,if Percy and Annabeth never fell into Tartarus,Nico probably would have lived better on that ship.

I can see people that like to headcanon that they are all pretty close,and maybe in ToA some of them are actually close to him,but they were all horrible to him in one way or another. Either they were scared of him,didn't trust him or judged him or pointed out his eating habits and how much thin he was. Which sucked because Nico had to endure extremely traumatic experiences because they needed his help. And he still went on with another suicide mission after HoH because they still needed him to win the war. The Seven didn't treat him nicely,all of them fucked up,some more than other,and only a couple of them tried to make it up to him. The Argo II crew was on a whole field week when it cames to Nico di Angelo.

And I will fight however say otherwise because it's true.

I hate the insistence in pushing Jason into the batfamily.

If he doesn't wanna go to dinner, he doesn't have to. If he doesn't wanna hang out with them, he doesn't have to. If he doesn't want to see them, he doesn't have to. If he doesn't even want to contact them, he doesn't have to.

It's so annoying to read fic and always see it presented as his Family Knows Better. Jason is just being silly by not realizing how much they love him and he just needs to let them break into his home and comms and life because they want him there.

Given that Belobog is so full of snow, I'm kinda sad we never get to see any snowmen anywhere. Like that would have made for such a cute bg decoration!

And I think it would be especially funny for Sampo to make them, not out of pure, innocent whimsy and joy, but like specifically to be a menace smzhnsjd

Like Gepard keeps finding little snowmen out around the frontlines. And normally he would just turn a blind eye to this like he does with other things (like the shitty amateur distillery no one thinks he knows about); war sucks, their own damn leader is trying to kill them and Gepard is treading water just trying to keep Cocolia from using his guards as cannon fodder. If his soldiers want to make some snowmen in their downtime, then they should be allowed that. God knows they've earned it.

BUT SOMEONE IS MAKING SNOWMEN THAT LOOK LIKE HIM, DAMMIT!!!

Gepard keeps finding them down the back alleys and more hidden parts of the frontlines! And they all have the same grumpy little face, with blue-painted rocks for eyes and sometimes even gold-colored bullet casings for hair! And he knows who it is the second he finds another little blue haired, green eyed snowman next to it! Fuckin' Koski is sneaking in here, and easily enough that he has the time to taunt him!

Gepard once found a little Snow Geppie with angry eyebrows and red roses stuck in its blushing cheeks that was handcuffed to a weapons rack, which was when he realized someone had pickpocketed his handcuffs. He punches the head clean off the little Snow Sampo nearby, only to discover that it is also holding his wallet, minus all the shield he'd had in it that morning. Gepard kicks it for good measure.

One time he found a little Snow Sampo offering roses to a little Snow Geppie, and he quickly knocked those over too before anyone else could see them or his red face. He swears he can feel Sampo snickering and mocking him nearby.

Sometimes, Gepard finds little Snow Sampos with tiny sacks thrown over their shoulders, all filled with items that are SUPPOSED to be in the depths of the guarded Silvermane storehouses. Sampo technically isn't even stealing anything, he's just showing Gepard that he could if he wanted to, and poor Gepard is going to pop an aneurysm.

Pela: Good morning, Captain. Have you been outside of your tent yet?

Gepard: No. ....Why.

Pela: No reason. Say, have you heard of any break ins recently?

Gepard: No, why.

And Pela holds open the tent flap and there's a ton of tiny little Silvermane Guards snowmen in tight neat rows, all with their little stick arms up in salute, and each one with an actual, stolen official helmet-mask.

Pela: You run a real tight ship out here, huh.

Gepard: (looooong weary muffled sigh as he drags a hand down his face)
