It’s not Powder vs Jinx.

It’s past vs present.

When Silco says Jinx needs to “let Powder die” he’s not trying to get Jinx to “kill her inner child” or that he only wants Jinx to be Jinx. Cuz Jinx and Powder are the same person.

He means you need to let the past die. Move on (or at least gaslight yourself into thinking you’ve moved on). So that you can become stronger and more capable from overcoming it. Untether yourself from the past so that you can accept who you are in the present.

So that the past can’t hurt you anymore.

And Jinx’s choice between the Jinx chair and the Powder chair isn’t about her choosing between two split personalities. It’s about her wondering if she can ever go back to the innocent person she used to be. If she can shrug off the present and revert to the past.

But this is of course impossible. She has grown up to become a very damaged person. You can’t just flip a switch and go back to the way you were pre-trauma and pre being raised by a guy who enabled all your self-destructive behaviors.

And Vi cannot enable Jinx the way Silco has. She won’t shoot Caitlyn for Jinx. There’s no way she would have “passed” Jinx’s messed up test. And even if she had, enabling Jinx’s violence would never have brought Powder back. Because Jinx is just who Powder has grown up to be.

Silco is right. Her name is Jinx. She’s not that girl anymore. Vi is still holding out hope that Jinx can revert back to her past innocent self. But things have changed too much. Some things can’t be undone. There’s no way to go back to the way things were. So might as well embrace the present, no matter how tragic and shitty it is.

So here’s to the new us.

i had a tunnel vision about sae earlier today that i thought i was having a brain aneurism so you ALL have to listen to me about him rn..

if you and sae reach a certain level of closeness in your relationship, you two start having conversations through your eyes. something about it is just sosososo intimate and i have to hold your hand as you walk with me with this

his eyes speak louder than words. certain glances, looks even, could mean a lot from the red head. like you just get it!!! sae can't explain it either but he personally thinks that you are his soulmate because of it lmfao. he can just give you a blank stare that could translate into a million different things but somehow you understand

it's like how that one saying that goes like "eyes without speaking confess the secrets of the heart" thats so sae. maybe that's why he likes to look away immediately the moment you catch him staring cause maybe you can see a certain glint in his teal eyes that means a million words

now if you two were in a private but not secret relationship and you are obviously in the crowds of his games, you don't even have to tell him good luck because meeting your eyes before he kicks the ball is more than enough for sae

OH ! or when you two are out and about and he gets recognized on the streets, he will just watch your reaction if you're okay with him taking pictures with fans (this only happens when he's in a really good mood or when you insist that he should take pics with his fans because most of the time he denies any picture LMFAO)

now if you two are public figures and your relationship is open to the public, when you two are asked about your relationship through an interview, sae gives you a look as his answer that the camera catches and it goes viral everywhere.
