Astro Observations pt. 3

Hi there! So here comes another astro observations post. But before I have to rant. Man…uni is kicking me in the butt (average engineering student). Like wdym I have a month till my finals and I have a research paper, 3 projects, 2 lab reports, 2 Tests and one lab exam due. And I have to start studying for my finals as well. ߹ ᯅ ߹
These observations are based on my personal experiences so don’t take it as full facts. These placements can also be influenced by other things in someone’s chart like degrees, houses and aspects. Also if u have any suggestions for what content you’d like to see feel free to let me know. English is not my first language lads so don’t drag me for grammatical errors. xoxo

Venus trine Ascended aspect: how does it feel to be life’s favourite . Like these people just have it like that. They are genuinely beautiful people and while that can manifest as conventional attractive, from my personal experience, their beauty is very unique , depending on other aspects in their chart. But whatever style of beauty they have, they embody it fully and they turn eyes wherever they go. Also these are the type of people who’s beauty is influenced by how they feel about themselves so if you practice self love and acceptance then that’s when you radiate the most.
Pluto 10h: huuuuge issues with authority figures. Mostly these people fall into 2 categories. First one, they always feel suppressed but push back therefore getting into arguments with those authority figures. Second one, they feel suppressed but don’t say anything, they prefer to lay low and not confront those issues. Overall for each case it’s a heavy placement and causes heavy friction in your life. These people also almost 100% have (or had) a lot of arguments with their parents. BUT, if you channel this energy by learning how to play the cards you’ve been dealt and manipulate situations without coming so upfront then this placement is so powerful, especially in regards to career. CEO energy. These people rlly would much rather work for themselves. I could go on hours talking ab Pluto, but I’ll leave it for another post because this planet is so interesting and people need to learn how to harness its energy better.
Lilith Gemini: worst nightmare for these people? Being perceived as dumb. They will rather be called ugly, weird etc. than being called stupid. And the best part? They aren’t stupid at all. Their most cunning aspect? Their intelligence. For some, they might’ve actually been perceived as slow when younger but worked hard just to not be associated with that imagine anymore.
4th house in Gemini: for a lot of these people, their home never felt that welcoming when young. This placement indicated a home/environment where growing intellectually/academically was very important (more important than their emotional state). Geminis 4th house experienced a lot of shame regarding their grades in their home/school or faced immense pressure to be “the first in class”. Also, this placement can be harder to navigate because due to the lack of support they might’ve felt in their environment. I wanna give you guys a big hug, seriously. You are more than your academics. Lots of love to yous xoxo
Venus trine Pluto: these people are magnetic. They are also mostly perceived way differently than they are (kinda sad tbh). So many people with this placement are hard to approach, even if they are genuinely nice people, at least once in their life, someone told them they look intimidating. This placement might not get hit on as much because of it. People tend to have fantasies regarding this collective, specifically in the house of your Pluto. For example if you have a Pluto in the 2nd house, they might fantasise about you taking them out for a shopping spree or them taking you out and spoiling you. If you have Pluto 10th house, then maybe they are very attracted to your work persona and might fantasise about some forbidden work love. You get the point. This placement is very intense but it can attract unhealthy relationships. You need to learn your toxic pattern and make sure you do not repeat it.

I hope you guys enjoyed this as well! I will be diversifying my content soon, I just had some more placements I wanted to talk about before I start smth new. Also I don’t have that many observations today since I have been focused on writing another Astro blog that is coming soon (I am so exited). Before my next astro observations post I’ll need to gather more info (aka psychoanalyse all my friends and the people around me)
Till next time xoxo

Heard the astro weather of March is supposed to be intense but I don't want to perpetuate that. I intend that you still make the best of it regardless of circumstances.
So I did something new for change 🤍
Have a good month ahead retrogrades or not xx
To book a personalized reading with me in regards to the coming months or any query you have in mind dm or email me at [email protected]

Tips are appreciated 🧡
Picture 1
For you,
March whispers secrets to those who listen.
This month, you stand at the edge of knowing. You might find yourself looking through a hazy veil initially but it won't mean that you're being blinded. Will you trust what you feel before you see?
Your intuition will sharpen and dreams will whisper answers.
You will have no other choice but to nurture yourself from within. Be it eliminating certain foods or fluids or adding them. You will also be reminded that growth is quiet before it flourishes. Something within you (an idea, a love, a version of yourself) will begin to blossom into fullness.
You'll feel as though some event has cleansed your path, there will be a reckoning that brings clarity. What was once uncertain will its rightful balance. Whether you believe in karma or not it feels as though a karmic justice will play out for you.
You shall be offered emotional steadiness, either from someone or it will come within yourself. A sense of emotional maturity. You'll find yourself being less reactive or in simple terms 'less crash outs over circumstances'.
Where once there was confusion, there is now control. You hold your heart like an anchor soft yet unwavering.
Subconsciously, you're being asked to dance with change. March brings shifts, but they do not shake you. They will teach you rhythm instead. You will juggle choices, emotions, and revelations, but you will not longer feel lost.
What does March bring?
A deepening. An unfolding. A knowing. This is the month your soul speaks, and for once, you listen.
Picture 2
For you,
March arrives like a storm and a sunrise all at once.
Spring cradles you in abundance and here I want to remind you, where you focus dominantly, whatever it is, will see an increase. Remind yourself this each time you find yourself wavering to a thought that feels unfavorable.
You'll find your mind being sharp as well.
You'll also learn to establish firm boundaries. I feel as though some of you may have been feeling like their authority is being challenged or are being subtly bullied, I want to remind you that you will emerge victorious not those attempting to dim your glow. They feel threatened by that's their problem to solve, not yours.
There's softness and steel, both alive within you. And you see that clearly now, even if that clarity isn't necessarily comfortable.
You will be shown the knots of your own making, fears that have kept you still. But March is not a month for stagnation for you.
You will surge forward confidently. It is important to hold your ground if you believe in something even if it's just you. You might consider travelling or make plans for the same this may not be a short distance travel either.
This month, whatever falls was never your foundation. Let it crumble, and you will find yourself standing stronger. It's okay.
At the root of it all, I'm seeing you build a wealthy foundation for yourself. Instead of slaving away for money, learn to harness it for what it is that is, energy.
What does March bring?
A breaking. A building. A reclamation. This is the month you take your power back.
Picture 3
For you,
March turns the wheel.
The tides shift
where you were once waiting, now momentum sweeps you forward. You'll find yourself being aligned with destined moments. A lot of quick confident decisions or communication will take place. I feel some of you might be musically inclined and this month will be significant when it comes to that. Since it's a general reading I can't be too specific but music plays a crucial role for you this month be it literally or symbolically.
Be mindful of what you tell yourself as well as the media you consume. You can feel a certain emotion but not make it a part of yourself.
Your once empty cup will overflow, offering love, renewal, or a heart cracked open in the best way.
Your desired business or career will begin to flourish as well. Expect wealth. A good amount of it. Beautify yourself and your surroundings please. Your environment plays a very important role in attracting what you seek and becoming who you desire to be.
I want to remind you that your patience has not been in vain. You are moving forward now, with no hesitation. You are ready.
At the core, this month reminds you that good things take root in time, it's already inevitable so why worry? What you have sown begins to bear fruit.
What does March bring?
A turning. A revelation. A harvest. This is the month your patience meets its reward.

Which Type of Witch Are You? (Based on Your Moon & Mercury Sign)˚˖𓍢ִ໋ 💫 ✧˚.🔮⋆

Your Moon Sign can indicate the type of witchcraft you may be naturally attuned to. Unlike your Sun or Rising sign, which respectively govern your purpose and the traits you project–your Moon sign reflects the hidden aspects of your nature, what feels intuitive.
If we really want to get precise, you could also use your Mercury sign to learn more about your magickal blue print, due to Mercury symbolizing energy manipulation (which is CRUCIAL in magick).
In witchcraft, there are intuition and personal resonance playing a huge role, and your Moon sign can reveal the magical practices and elements you’re drawn to instinctively, even if you haven’t explored them directly.
🎃 Also, HALLOWEEN ASTRO READINGS are available! Spooky season calls for spooky readings. Grab yours HERE. ๋࣭ ⭑🕸🦇

𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄 𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐋𝐎𝐆𝐘 𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐊𝐒 𝐈 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐃 𝐀𝐒 𝐀 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐅𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐋𝐎𝐆𝐄𝐑

ABOUT ME
Hello! I’m Skylar if you’re new to my page and I got my diploma in astrology from Kepler College (the #1 best astrology school in the world)
I’ve been studying astrology for over a decade now as well and these are the books I recommend

☆ BEGINNER BOOKS ☆
The Only Astrology Book You’ll Ever Need by Joanna Woolfolk
Goes over all the basic information for beginners and has interpretations written in as well. In the beginning of the book it focuses a lot on Sun Signs but gives more insight on other placements later in the book don’t worry
Astrology for the Soul by Jan Spiller
Another great book for beginners. I like the interpretations
The Inner Sky by Steven Forrest
Written by a very renowned astrologer. He goes over signs, aspects, etc and breaks them all down really well
You were born for this by Chani Nicholas
I love how this book goes over how to use astrology in your daily life and isn’t just cookie cutter definitions of placements like many other books. It’s also interactive and you can write in some pages which is always fun. It’s one of my favorite books for beginners
Aspects in astrology by Sue Tompkins
This is a great book for people curious about what each aspect means and how they can manifest into your life
☆ INTERMEDIATE BOOKS ☆
Predictive Astrology by Michele Adler
This book is definitely worth the price. It gives lots of information on techniques you can use to make predictions in astrology. It’s based on Western Astrology
The Art of Predictive Astrology by Carol Rushmam
Another great predictive astro book that talks about how to make predictions based on transits in your chart
Medical Astrology by Judith Hill
This is a great book with information on body part astrology and medical information. Although I do want to note when reading this do not be afraid if you share one of the transits that the public figures mentioned had during their health issues arising as astrology is a polarity. Meaning you can take on positive traits rather than the challenging ones often
☆ ADVANCED BOOKS ☆
Asteroid Goddesses by Demetra George
Goes over all the major asteroids in astrology. This can help you a lot if you’re interested in learning basic information on asteroids
Planets in Composite by Robert Hand
There are not many books out there on Composite compatibility so out of all of them this is my favorite even though it’s very basic it’s still a good read if you’re learning about Composite charts
The Psychology of Astrocartography by Jim Lewis
This is the best book about astrocartography I’ve found so far and very informative. The only bad thing I have to say about this book is that the print is really small. It’s amazing other than that though
☆ OLD AGE ASTRO BOOKS ☆
Mastering Traditional Astrology by Mychal A. Brian
If you’re more interested in old age astrology then this is an amazing read. You can purchase it on Amazon
Astrology of the Tree by David Frawley
This is great for beginners in vedic astrology and goes over all the basics. Really anything by David Frolly is great if you want to learn about vedic
The Nakshatras; the Lunar Mansions of Vedic Astrology by Dennis Harness
It’s a short read and goes over all the meanings of all the nakshatras
Light on Relationships by Hart De
A very comprehensive read that goes over synastry in Indian astrology. It gives lots of interesting techniques that can give insight on future marriages as well
Mayan Calender Astrology by Kenneth Johnson
This is extremely hard to comprehend so don’t purchase if you’re new to astrology. Even I had to read it a few times to fully get it. It discusses the astrology that the egyptians wrote in their hieroglyphics
☆ BOOKS I STUDIED FOR MY DIPLOMA ☆ [these aren’t all of them just some of my faves]
Sky and Psyche; the relationship between cosmos and consciousness by Nicholas Campion and Patrick Curry
This is an extremely underrated book and one of my favorites by far. This book goes over not just meanings of the planets, houses, synastry aspects, etc but also why the planets manifest in certain ways
The planetarization of consciousness by Dane Rudhyar
This one isn’t a basic overview like the other books I’ve mentioned it’s more psychological type astrology which I found really interesting
History of western astrology volume 1 & 2 by Nicholas Campion
This goes over how astrology has been used throughout history and why it was used in the past
☆ OTHER ASTRO BOOKS ☆
Moonology by Yasmin Boland
This is a manifestation astrology book. It gives an amazing story about the authors life before using astrology and manifestation and how it impacted them. Great for learning how to manifest using the moon cycles and astrology
The Handbook of Chinese Horoscopes by Theodora Lau and Laura Lau
My favorite Chinese astrology book. There isn’t many good ones out there
Birth Time Rectification by Paul Manley
There are some things I would’ve added to this book that weren’t mentioned but other than that it’s pretty good in helping find the right birth times using vedic astrology

Notes on Krittika Nakshatra
*Krittika nakshatra is a Sun ruled nakshatra located in Sidereal Taurus.

Krittika’s shakti is the ability to burn or purify impurities. Krittika is ruled by Agni, who is the God of divine fire. From my own research, I’ve seen Agni as destructive or as nourishing. Fire can cook food, warm people, and in a spiritual sense, motivate people. Fire can burn, kill, destroy everything in its path, and in general, cause harm. It’s all about how the power is wielded.
On Astro Tumblr and Twitter, we’ve seen a few people mention Krittika’s connection to the vampire, which can represent a tempestuous bodily desire that makes one feel unclean, dirty, immoral (i.e Nosferatu, Interview With the Vampire) and the need to find discipline, control over one’s power/ability to cause chaos (i.e Twilight). In conjunction, it should be mentioned that the Sun is an enemy to Venus (those pleasurable comforts, for brevity) and friend to Mars (harnessed power, ambition, and action). Therefore, Krittika often has these dilemmas on morality (good v. bad), how to properly conduct themselves, how to not succumb to their own desires and their image. And if we follow the understanding of Krittika as the first man or Adam, it makes sense!
Many Krittika natives will be able to understand the feeling of being unable to keep up to the moral standard / personal and societal expectations, debating whether or not they are acting in good faith. This could lead to going the path of a lone wolf, nomadic, not beholden to the obligation of any tribe / being afraid of taking care of their responsibilities. The Sun is prideful, but ultimately provides light to everyone. It has to show its face and is aware of their duty and power, their potential to rise/fail. Krittika natives can often be self-critical, anxious, and want to burn away all of their impurities to show a better version of themselves to the world. As a result, they may be highly self-conscious, when underdeveloped. Potentially, this could lead to having very strong feelings / reactions and then rationalizing them because Krittika’s symbol is, of course, the knife. They make sense of the world by cutting through their beliefs, trying to get to the root of themselves and being self-aware.
And, for a real world example, I think it’s interesting that Zion Williamson, an American basketball player, (AA rated birth time) has Jupiter conjunct Saturn in Krittika (3H). Williamson is often mocked for his weight, being overly indulgent with food and women, being undisciplined and not being a team player (he didn’t even introduce himself to a new recruit for the New Orleans Pelicans.) Williamson was highly lauded in the beginning of his career, but did not know how to take care of his power, and became prone to various injuries that kept him out of commission. To be fair, he has a Purva Phalguni Moon, but it’s something to look at.

Astro observations
These are based on my own experience 😄 very general bc this is my first observations post ❤️
- Mars-Uranus conjunction could manifest as disrupted movements if energy is not properly put to use, for example shaky hands if they stay still for too long. This placement moves unusually, they can make great performers
- Mars conjunct Mercury have great fast-response time, they instinctively use their hands/body to communicate in fight or flight mode. In detriment this can cause someone to have a quite domineering/commanding communication style
- Heavy Gemini and Scorpio in a chart makes a person have very well developed opinions about what most don’t talk about, what they converse about gains a lot of attention
- Pluto in the 8th battle with being obsessed with sex while simultaneously repulsed by it, they may have a thing for impossibly exaggerated sexual images/positions
- Pluto in the 12th can grant someone with secret power, they can harness control over the collective unconsciousness easily which can make them get away with shady behavior. For ex. Donald Trump
- 9th house placements always look like they got somewhere better to be lmaoo
- the thing about Virgo risings and smiling weird is true, as a Virgo rising we smile strangely because we are constantly calculating, even when told to relax
- Scorpio moon/Pluto in 1st house are acutely aware of everyone’s secrets in the room while they hide theirs
- Pluto square a personal planet individuals can have a hard time understanding their intensity and battle with how to put it to use for good
- Cap moons and cancer moons are by far the most savage. Sagittarius/Gemini moons close second
- Venus in 7H are prone to get taken advantage of
- Saturn in 9H may manifest as insecurity over personal beliefs/world view, they might over assert their beliefs
- 3rd house placements absorb information like a sponge, they may compare themselves to their siblings or have a fixation on transportation/maps
That’s all for now 🖤🖤🖤

Hello River! Have you ever noticed patterns between the different mediums that people prefer expressing themselves creatively in terms of their/yours astro placements? 👀 I think everybody has the potential to enjoy creativity. It's just a matter of HOW they like to explore & express it. Tysm for reading this! 🤗
Hello, thank you for such an intriguing question. Here is a gross generalisation. I might make a more detailed post in the future.
Astrology and creative mediums
*Note: My knowledge about different types of creative mediums is limited so take these with a grain of salt. Let me know if there are any specific mediums that you want to know more about.
Creativity is usually linked with your Sun/Moon/Venus. But when you choose to express it, I think it has to do with Mercury. Mercury can tell us about the skills we harness, the channel we choose to communicate our creativity.
Other planets' influence on Mercury:
Painting: Moon, Venus, Jupiter and Neptune influence
Designing: Venus, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus influence
Photography and filming: Moon, Neptune and Uranus influence
Acting: Also Moon and Neptune influence
Music: Venus and Neptune influence
Writing: Moon, Jupiter, Neptune and Uranus influence
Dancing: Sun, Mars, Saturn, Pluto influence
Any crafts that require manipulation with the hands: A strong Mercury, Mercury in 5th house
Some observations:
Taurus and Libra, Venus ruled signs, usually excel at music and visual art. People with these signs in their charts usually have lovely voice and a distinguished sense of colour and harmony.

Angst time guys.
What if during the outbreak when distractor reader is leading Twisted Dandy away, Cosmo chases them because duh, he's in love and wants to help and has to watch the very first twisted transformation knowing he's next.
Bonus: Reader sees him just as Dandy acts.
Double Bonus: Sprout and Astro are the first to happen upon their twisted forms and are turned since they trusted Reader and Cosmo blindly 😌
Anyway no one asked but I did say Blu was based off of my irl cat and this is her. Her name is Talia. <3 she recently learned to go on walks with her harness outside (she's an Inside kitty)

astro notes: the 10th house 💚
Traditionally, the 10th house has been hailed as the abode of career pursuits, embodying the aspirations, achievements, and public image of an individual. Here, one encounters the gaze of society, their actions scrutinized against the backdrop of societal expectations. Authority figures, including the father, loom large within this realm, their presence symbolizing guidance, discipline, and influence over one's path in life.
Yet, beneath the veneer of career ambitions and worldly success lies a deeper current of nurturing and protection, intricately woven into the fabric of the 10th house. In exploring the concept of mothering within this astrological domain, we uncover a profound connection to lineage and inherited traits. Here, individuals find themselves tasked with nurturing not only their careers but also their aspirations, goals, and sense of responsibility.
The 10th house emerges as a crucible of transformation, where individuals engage in the sacred act of "mothering" various aspects of their lives into being. Whether birthing creative endeavors, nurturing professional aspirations, or safeguarding their public image, individuals navigate the complexities of this domain with tender care and unwavering dedication.
Modern astrology further enriches our understanding of the 10th house, expanding its scope beyond mere career pursuits to encompass broader themes of legacy, impact, and societal contribution. Here, the house of career evolves into a sanctuary of purpose, inviting individuals to embark on a journey of self-discovery and fulfillment.
Moreover, the 10th house serves as a mirror reflecting the intricate tapestry of lineage and ancestry, unveiling the threads that bind individuals to their past and shape their future. Through the lens of this astrological domain, we glimpse the echoes of past generations, their wisdom and struggles reverberating through the corridors of time.
In delving deeper into the essence of the 10th house, we encounter the archetypal energy of Mars, symbolizing protection, courage, and assertion. Here, individuals harness the martial spirit to defend their aspirations, carve out their path in life, and confront the challenges that lie ahead.
Yet, amidst the pursuit of career ambitions and societal recognition, the 10th house beckons us to ponder the fleeting nature of worldly success. In the face of mortality, it reminds us of the intrinsic value of love, connection, and spiritual fulfillment, transcending the confines of societal expectations and material pursuits.
In conclusion, the 10th house emerges as a celestial crucible where career aspirations, ancestral legacies, and the nurturing spirit converge in a symphony of self-discovery and fulfillment. Through its hallowed halls, individuals navigate the complexities of life, forging their path with courage, determination, and unwavering devotion to their higher purpose.

💀⚔️🖤 Zodiac Placements with Necromantic Gifts (The Ability to Talk to the Dead)⚰️🕸️🦇

Hey everyone! Welcome to today’s post. I’ve been exploring some mystical concepts with my best friend (@witchyianuarius), and I can't wait to share with you insights about the Zodiac placements and how they might align with necromantic gifts/necromancy.
🎃 Also, HALLOWEEN ASTRO READINGS are available! Spooky season calls for spooky readings. Grab yours HERE. ๋࣭ ⭑🕸🦇
First of all, what is Necromancy?
Necromancy is a form of magic that involves communicating with the dead, typically to gain insight, predict the future, or harness the powers of the deceased. Historically, it has been associated with rituals to summon spirits or raise the dead in various cultural mythologies and magical traditions. While it often carries a darker, more occult connotation, necromancy in a broader sense refers to any practice involving the dead or death-related magic.
In some interpretations, necromancy also includes working with ancestral spirits for guidance, protection, or wisdom, and may not always be tied to negative or malevolent practices. The term itself comes from the Greek words nekros (meaning "dead body") and manteia (meaning "divination").

SCORPIO
Scorpio placements—Moon, Rising, and Pluto—are often associated with necromantic abilities because of their connection to death. These placements are tied to the power to navigate the boundary between life and death. With these placements, you may be naturally equipped to navigate these areas because you possess the tools to engage with this energy. You live in a psychological underworld where others fear to tread, and that’s exactly where necromantic abilities would thrive. These placements make you a natural conduit for what others consider mysterious or forbidden. It’s not a gift to be taken lightly, but it’s one that gives you the power to see beyond the surface.
SCORPIO MOON
The Moon governs your internal world, so when placed in Scorpio, it opens a window into the mysteries of life and death. Scorpio’s influence means you feel things others are afraid to acknowledge. You have a natural connection to what is hidden—whether it’s your own shadow, other people’s emotional undercurrents, and in this case, even the lingering energies of the deceased. Necromancy, the practice of communing with the dead, finds a symbolic home in this placement because you don’t fear death, it feels natural for you to explore these spaces, even if it's just on an intuitive level.
SCORPIO RISING
As a Scorpio Rising with Gemini in the 8th house, you may have a natural inclination toward transformation and exploring the unseen, including a deep interest in the ways you can communicate (Gemini) with energies beyond this realm (8H). With Scorpio Rising, you may also be drawn toward what others ignore or bury—often involving pain or unresolved issues from the past. This interest can extend to ancestral matters, which ties directly into necromancy: working with spirits and bringing the past into the present.
PLUTO IN SCORPIO
Pluto, as we all know, is the planet of death, rebirth, and transformation. In Scorpio, this energy is amplified to its highest potential. Pluto's placement here suggests a strong connection to the forces that govern life and death. You may feel a drive to control or understand these realms, even subconsciously. Pluto’s influence encourages you to embrace these energies, often leading to personal transformation through encounters with death or crises. This energy pulls you into the depths, demanding that you face death— metaphorically, through constant cycles of death and rebirth in your own life.

CANCER
Cancer placements, especially Moon and Rising, have a deep connection to necromantic abilities because of Cancer’s connection with the past and the unseen. Cancer is ruled by the Moon, which governs emotions, intuition, the subconscious–these qualities naturally align with necromantic practices, which involve communicating with the dead and understanding the subtle energies that linger beyond physical life. Your ability to feel what others ignore makes you a natural conduit for communicating with the dead, though it often manifests emotionally or through visions.
CANCER MOON
If you have a Cancer Moon, your emotional world is tied to memory and deep emotional currents. Cancer Moon is the most intuitive and emotionally sensitive of the lunar placements, making you highly attuned to what’s hidden beneath the surface—emotions, unspoken words, and energies from the past. Necromancy, at its core, deals with the dead, but it also involves retrieving what has been buried, either emotionally or spiritually. Your Cancer Moon allows you to feel these energies, often sensing unresolved issues from the past, whether they come from family, ancestry, or even the lingering presence of those who have passed on. This emotional receptivity makes it easier for you to connect with spirits or the dead because you can tap into these unseen emotional frequencies.
Additionally, the water element of Cancer, associated with intuition and the emotional body, plays a role here. Water signs are known for their psychic receptivity, and Cancer, in particular, has a lunar connection that heightens this. If you have a Cancer Moon, you may find that your dreams are filled with symbols or messages from the past, from deceased loved ones, or even from ancestors you’ve never met.
CANCER RISING
Having a Cancer Rising represents a deep pull toward the past. You’re drawn to ancestral roots and the emotional imprints left by those who came before you. This inclination toward lineage places you in a natural position to engage with necromantic practices. You intuitively seek to heal or resolve what has been left unresolved.. So, as a Cancer Rising, you might carry the past with you and instinctively work to reconcile what lingers.
You might find yourself emotionally connected to old places, objects, or stories that carry the energy of those who have passed on–your natural empathy makes you a bridge between the living and the dead. You may even feel a pull to comfort or care for the spirits of those who still linger in some form.

8H PLACEMENTS
The 8th house is traditionally associated with death and the mysteries of the unseen, which gives it a strong connection to necromantic abilities. When planets like Mercury, Jupiter, and the Moon are in the 8H, they draw your attention to these themes and influence how you engage with the occult. Mercury gives you the intellectual curiosity to explore and communicate with the dead. Jupiter expands your understanding of death as part of a larger spiritual framework, and the Moon connects you emotionally and intuitively to the energies of those who have passed.
8H MERCURY
With Mercury in the 8th house, your mind naturally gravitates toward the unknown and the taboo. Mercury governs communication and thought processes, and in the 8th house, it’s drawn to secrets and the unseen realms, including death and the afterlife. Necromancy, at its core involves communication with the dead, so your 8H Mercury can give you the ability to explore these areas intellectually and intuitively. You might even be fascinated by the idea of what happens after death, and you can sense unspoken or hidden energies, which is critical in necromantic practices. This placement allows you to connect mentally with the energies of those who have passed, whether through active rituals or simply an attunement to the energies that others might ignore.
8H JUPITER
Jupiter in the 8th house broadens your understanding of death and the occult. You’re likely to see death as part of a larger, interconnected cycle, or you may feel drawn to study ancient practices or spiritual systems that involve communication with the dead. If you do have necromantic abilities, Jupiter’s influence might also attract opportunities for you to learn or teach about these hidden aspects of life. Overall, I’ve noticed that 8H Jupiter makes for great occultists.
8H MOON
Moon in the 8H pulls you toward the emotional depths of transformation and death. You may sense the presence of the dead on a gut level or feel emotional/psychic echoes of those who have passed. 8H Moon can make you sensitive to the emotional residue left by others, whether it's spirits or the emotional energy tied to past events. You may also find yourself emotionally attuned to ancestral energies or feel that you’re carrying emotional patterns from those who have passed. This emotional sensitivity allows you to tap into the unseen energy that lingers after death.

PLUTO CONJUNCTIONS
Pluto conjunct the Moon and Mercury conjunct Pluto strongly indicate necromantic abilities because these planetary alignments connect deeply with themes of death and communication with the unseen. They allow you to engage with death on both emotional and intellectual levels. The Moon’s emotional depth and Pluto’s transformative energy make you sensitive to the unseen, while Mercury’s intellectual nature combined with Pluto’s power over death helps you articulate or understand the energies of those who have passed.
PLUTO CONJUNCT MOON
This conjunction creates an emotional connection to what others fear: the darker aspects of life, death, and what lies beyond. Having this placement opens up your emotional sensitivity to the energies of those who have passed, into the spaces where life and death blur. The Moon governs your subconscious and instincts, and with Pluto’s influence, those instincts naturally turn toward the mysteries of the underworld.
Pluto conjunct the Moon also amplifies your ability to engage with the concept of death on an intimate, personal level. This placement may bring experiences where you confront death directly, not just in a literal sense but emotionally and psychologically. It can lead to a heightened awareness of ancestral energies or unresolved emotions tied to those who have passed. This deep emotional connection to death is where necromantic abilities start to show themselves, therefore you may have the emotional depth to communicate with or feel the presence of those who are no longer living.
PLUTO CONJUNCT MERCURY
Mercury conjunct Pluto links your communication and thought processes directly to the occult. Your mind naturally gravitates toward the deeper, hidden aspects of life. You’re drawn to mysteries, secrets, and what others avoid discussing—death, in particular. You have the ability to mentally process and understand the unseen, perhaps even receiving messages from those who have passed or intuitively knowing things that others cannot explain.
This Mercury-Pluto conjunction also gives you the power to communicate beyond the physical. Your mind becomes a tool for navigating these hidden realms, making you capable of deciphering hidden messages or energies–and your communication abilities allow you to bridge the gap between the living and the dead, even if that happens more intuitively than explicitly.

NATAL MERCURY RETROGRADE
Mercury governs the transmission of information, while retrograde periods shift the flow of that energy inward, often causing disruptions or delays in the external world. However, these disruptions also open pathways to the past, hidden or unresolved matters, and to what lingers beneath the surface of our usual conscious awareness.
Mercury Retrograde can be seen as a window into necromantic abilities because it draws you into communication with the past—whether that involves unresolved emotions or even spirits. Think of how during a retrograde, Mercury’s usual forward motion is reversed, metaphorically pulling you backward in time. This reversal can make you more attuned to subtle energies, including those left behind by the dead. Mercury Retrograde also slows down communication, and this slowing effect can be useful in necromantic work. Communication with the dead, or with energies beyond the physical world, often requires patience, stillness, and the ability to listen deeply. The external confusion or delays during retrograde periods might be irritating in daily life, but they also create space for introspection and spiritual attunement. When you’re less focused on rapid, clear communication in the physical world, you have more energy to tune into subtle, often overlooked messages.
In archetypal terms, Mercury is the messenger, traditionally seen as the guide between worlds, including the underworld. When retrograde, Mercury’s usual role as a straightforward communicator shifts into a more "shadow-y" one, making it more likely to bring up messages from the unconscious and the dead.
