luke fumbling in recruiting percy has to be one of his greatest failures. a beautiful thing the show does regarding luke and percy's relationship is building rapport between them through shared moments like settling into camp, eating meals together, but especially through swordfighting lessons. the swordfighting scene at the beginning of episode 8 not only reveals that percy and luke already share similar beliefs about the fear-based system the gods have cultivated, but it's clear the conversation stays with percy when he fights ares and later calls out zeus on his waning skills as a father and a king. however, luke's plan fell through the moment percy learned that the winged-shoes were meant to drag him to tartarus. not only that, but the shoes nearly killed grover, a friend percy cared for deeply. if nourishing loyalty and trust was the key to ensuring a partnership with percy, then it was luke's faulty planning, arrogance, and impatience that cost him the greatest ally he could ask for.

Why Is Tom Hollands Telemachus Outfit all brown????? PEOPLE IN ANCHIENT TIMES LOVED COLOR, ESPECIALLY ROYALTY!!

Give this man some Purple or Blue! He’s supposed to be playing a prince and you put him in all brown? When did we forget that color has been around for generations and is so important to so many different cultures; I hate when Hollywood makes their movies about ancient times so bland in color when it wasn’t like that.

Yes, they didnt have the exact same color as we had but in the original odyssey Odysseus was literally described to be wearing a cloak that is Purple, BECAUSE HE’S A KING!!!

Telemachus also probably had a cloak like that because he isnt any old pesent on the street, He is the prince of Ithaca!

I think they could make this work is if Telemachus is trying to disguise himself to stay hidden and Under the radar but besides that there should be no reason for him to be in this get up. Maybe the movie will have an explanation but who knows. Bring back the color of our world, being back the color of ancient times because it wasnt all Red, Brown, and White.

How are Animators able to bring life into a concept musical better than Hollywood?? Make them the costume designers and they would do great! i mean look at any other Telemachus design.

i yet again do NOT understand why people think that what happened to steven in future came out of nowhere. the main show beats it into the ground how fucked up all this stuff has him! just cause he ends the main show in a good place doesnt mean that everything was solved! he solved the gem stuff but not himself, that was the whole point!

like. those people show that they didnt even pay attention to the show AND they dont understand trauma. like. shut the fuck up !!!!

8x17 and 8x18 would've landed so much better if they'd had buck isolate after the funeral. eddie's "you're not the only one who lost bobby. we all lost him." would've been a reminder that buck wasn't alone. it would've been a parallel with karen telling athena that they're family rather than a contradiction. eddie could still get upset with buck because buck is functionally absent! and eddie could still have his speech about having to process the loss on his own. then his big hero moment to make up for not being there for bobby would've been impactful for buck, too, as proof they can come full circle and move on, like there's a light at the end of the tunnel. which would lead to chim stepping up and pledging to keep their family together.

Since the election I have deactivated some of my social media. Blocked some people I never should have ever engaged with to begin with, and unfollowed several accounts on IG that just don’t bring me joy.

They start strong with solid good storytelling. But then..eh we’re bored. Only whatever we do absolutely can not make sense!

New season? Let’s start by putting Bobby and Athena through to some major disaster! Hey it worked last season! Let’s do it again! (Do not even get me started on that fucking drug cartel shit..what the hell even was that??)

We are only allowed to have one character or couple drama free at a time. And if we can’t come up with a plausible way to create discord or havoc, we’ll just do some stupid shit instead!

Spend several seasons showing the deep strong bond between Eddie and Christopher. Gavin’s family moves? Just make it something dumb..but fast! I know let’s have him get mad at his dad and ask to move in with his grandparents!! Never mind he’d never do that!

Hmmm. Karen and Hen..the fans would revolt if we broke them up. So let’s go after their kids!! And we can’t make it about them being gay! Let’s create this over the top villain Councilwoman Ortiz. Who’s the mother of that drunk coked up dude from the accident. Only we absolutely cannot have Hen or anyone defend what happened or shut that shit down by saying “Your son was a fucking menace and maybe if you hadn’t kept covering for him he would have gotten some fucking help and not caused an accident.” Also do not mention Hen was cleared of all wrong doing. Ok so the fans have been clamoring for Buddie. But Eddie Diaz is straight. Period.

So hey! Let’s make Buck bisexual. And tell everyone we are getting him off the hamster wheel (because really, we’ve given him the emotional depth of a teaspoon for a while now)..And his love interest/boyfriend should be Tommy Kinard, who used to work at the 118, and we will invest time to give him a compelling backstory, and lay a ton of Easter eggs showing how richly we can mine this pairing and these characters.

And make them HAPPY for several episodes. Blissfully in love. And then totally out of the blue, let’s break them up. But the reason has to be complete bullshit, totally against character out of left field BULLSHIT. Like they should start out the episode great and about 80 percent in..wait! Let’s also make him the SAME Tommy Abbie from season one was engaged to before she started banging Buck! And then let’s make Tommy who is so into Buck it’s palpable, dump him because he’s afraid of getting his heart broken! Even though it’s one of the most tired, overdone, stupid tropes ever!!

Yeah. I don’t know WTF is going on in the writers room I would swear it’s like there’s this talented group of writers who start stories, and then they go out in Wilshire Blvd and ask some random person on the street to write the ending, but they have to do it, right there in the next 20 minutes.

No I am not going to stop watching 911 forever. I just don’t really want to see them on my IG. This last stunt, sparked only incredulity and scorn.
