I know not to try to diagnose people on TV but I'm watching The Great British Baking Show and my autism-radar keeps pinging.

The show is like: "Oh yes here is This Guy, he hates eye contact and is incapable of showing Normal EmotionTM to the point where the judges, other contestants, and hosts all chide him on it. Like every time they go up to him, they must joke about how he is Not Reacting Properly. He is almost annoyingly amazing at his special interest (conveniently baking) to the point where all the other competitors remark on him constantly knowing so much and stealing their thunder, but he is also the world's worst at accepting compliments (like they have to tell him to smile and relax his face from its "I'm being judged and thus dying" rictus expression). He does not like eye contact, at all, like really he doesn't like it. He is constantly stressed about everything even while doing the best by a mile, but it does not show on his face, such as when he appears still and calm but then says "I am a pressure cooker of stress that will explode any minute," which is practically identical to his "I am so pleased I cannot process it" expression when he inevitably does great. The hosts have picked up on his inability to do the socializing well, so they constantly try to drag him into their comedy bits so that when they prompt him they can see him go "oh...no.....no....." and freeze and stare at the ground until they leave. Like there's standard British stoicism and not showing American-level displays of emotion in public, and then there's This Guy. This Guy methinks might be one of us.

Doctor Who Football Match

Ages ago me and my sister thought: What if all the Doctor’s had a football match against each other? And this was the result. enjoy!!!!

TEAM A

1 completely criticises everyones technique and skill despite having none whatsoever himself

3 acquires multiple fouls for karate moves

5 tries really hard but keeps falling over. says its not fair!

7 mccoy. stands there pretending hes doing something, but he’s not

9 he’s against it at first, doesn’t see the point, but then gets really into it. but then has an asthma attack :(

11 same as in ‘The Lodger’, he’s pretty good. keeps kicking the ball out really far on purpose for a laugh.

13 LOVES the fun, is exhilarated, constantly chases the ball to no avail and only touches it like once in the entire game.

15 carries the team. is also moral support. secretly lets someone else get the ball just cuz he’s nice

TEAM B

2 little evil gremlin. he’s so small that nobody else notices him stealing the ball and running really fast with his little legs to the goal.

4 intimidates people and takes their ball. runs with the ball looking like a praying mantis with his arms up in the air. has a bunch of almost fouls, but always wins the heated argument with the referee

6 boast about his skills in game but in the actual thing does nothing. claims hes letting everyone else have the spotlight.// or, puts so much effort in, wants to win so bad

8 keeps getting hit in the head while he stands on the pitch, lost and thinking too much

10 is extremely determined to win. forms a plan of attack in a huddle. nothing goes to plan, so he gives up on everyone else and just tries to win by himself

12 breaks rules, uses hockey stick. argues with referee: “who needs rules?” *starts an anecdote about when he played football in the middle ages*

14 ten but worse. stinks up the changing room with his sweat. annoyed at everyone, and himself.

War- doesn’t give a hoot, but when chosen at random to do a penalty kick he absolutely smashes it out the park

Fugitive- really good but everyones too scared to pass to her

the canucks just had a florida panthers 22-23 szn which meanssss next year? oh u bitches aren’t ready. i didn’t watch most of the game so i can’t say if they fought hard or not but i like to think they did. i hope they know we aren’t upset at them, are we killing our selves bc we have to see more of the oilers? oh 100% but are we mad at the canucks? no. i’m so fucking proud man 😭 ykw what it’s like hearing they’re a shitty fucking team etc and then we make it into the playoffs? demkos out and everyone thinks it’s over and we MAKE IT TO THE SECOND ROUND?!? i’m actually getting a bit teary eyed bc i know that this team takes losses as a family and so so personal ugh god i’m gonna cry. canucks lb i’ll probably see yall in the stars lb if not i’ll see u guys in *shudders* october. i love all of u losers (affectionate) who have imprinted onto this whale team ❤️‍🩹
