Resentment is such a big part of Benny’s motives towards House, feeling he’s underserving to rule and shouldn’t have the right to keep the title of Vegas just because he claimed it first long ago. Say what you will, Benny puts the effort in, through honest and dishonest work albeit, but he puts in the effort. Not saying House didn’t but House had the luxury of having a lot of that effort done before the war and subordinates to do so after. House is untouchable, something everyone wants in the Mojave, if not for the power, but because of the security. House takes that for granted seeing how easy he thinks it is to buy people. Benny, a Mojave native, has to be irate about that seeing how he has seen the heights and slums of both lives.

Also with the AIs it’s so telling because in a lot of ways, Yes Man has more autonomy than House’s major personality securitrons. Yeah, Yes Man has to be helpful but he’s aware and able to be snarky and coy. Benny has an issue with not being listened to but that’s the only perimeter Yes Man needs to act on. He can’t condescend but lord you can tell when he wants to. House’s AIs serves specific and highly detailed functions but are confined to act in accordance. They are subservient to a T and are extensions of House while Yes Man really is a creation that adapts further, hence his desire for the assertive upgrade. Benny made something, or at least was okay with a helper, that can progress for itself. House made things that replicate or facilitate an era of the past and don’t hold the power to contest it.

Heavy rain pours down, the droplets sliding down the glass windows. A crack of lightning comes up as a singular soul comes into the office, wearing a black cloak and clutching a piece of paper that's just as soaking wet as they are.

They shook their head, water droplets flying everywhere as their fox ears flicked and pink curls bounced before they suddenly stopped and walked over to the desk, shivering as they handed you the paper. A note.

"LOOKING FOR:: Post on how to draw sirens/mermaids. Cannot remember the poster, but do remember it had vague eldritch horror vibes and the idea was made by someone's kid who claimed that sirens/mermaids began growing inside regular fish like a parasite and slowly began emerging. The lower half of said siren is just a huge fish biting onto them, and they generally had green skin from what is remember. REWARD:: {scribbled out writing}"

"Thank you for the...he...help.." the person said hesitantly before pulling the hood of the cloak up and venturing back into the pouring rain, leaving the note behind.

this nervous fox-eared client walked into my office one night and handed me this request. now, this one was stumpin' me for quite some time. i didn't know where to start. and with the speed at which requests were pilin' up, i wasn't even sure WHEN i'd start. the days went by and this one continued to trouble me. but that's when the most shocking thing happened...

now, this next part is gonna reveal a shockin' truth that i wasn't gonna be revealin' just yet. but this story is so perfect i just had to let the cat outta the bag here.

see, i was just sittin' down to start my work when i got a notification. but shockingly, this wasn't a post case. no, this was on my second biggest blog. a notification... from @hellsite-hall-of-girlfriend. i took a look at the post i was tagged in, plannin' on rebloggin' it later. but that's when i saw it. the mermaids. the eldritch horror vibe. the green skin. i had just been tagged in the post that had been eludin' me for a long while. stunned, i quickly grabbed the post and filed it away before it could be lost to the oceanic depths once again.

THE SHOWS ARE HOLDING BACK!!!

Tw: mentions of sewer-slide, mentions of mental illness, mentions of trauma (I’m just putting this here for cautions)

And by that I mean holding back on angst

I’m not just talking about TSAMS or TLAES, I’m talkin’ ALL SHOWS (granted, i haven’t watched all of the recent show things but I do know they haven’t been to angst)

Now, you might think, “oh stardust, but we’ve had lots of angst! I mean think of Cassie on TRWAGS-“

Yeah, Cassie, the only one who has recently had a lot of angst, and it was only really her being mad her phone wasn’t working and talking a bit about her dad (im not including The Musical btw). I also feel like we should’ve had a lot more Gregory angst after Rocky’s death. I mean Gregory blamed himself for that, it wouldn’t just go away. And Circus Baby should be had more angst after Gregory almost frickin died!!! The characters recover so quickly and just go back to their goofy normal lives. Obviously I won’t cover everything for these shows but some of my main thoughts.

“uh but what about Glamrock Chica on TFFAGCS?”

Not. Enough. Glamrock Chica was easily back to normal after blaming herself for their whole issue because of stuff out of her control, having an exstistential crisis after being kicked out of the PizzaPlex, getting a message from her parents she doesn’t remember and so on. Also if ANYONE is getting angst it should be Funtime Foxy and his brother. Funtime Foxy almost drowned when he was around 10, Fexy (the brother) tried to stab FT.Foxy while screaming “THIS IS MY BODY, I WANT IT BACK” because they were in the same body at some point, he and his brother burned their house down because when FT.Foxy was running away from his brother they knocked over candles, then his brother literally tried to commit s—-ide by not leaving the burning building and saying “if I can’t have this I’d rather die” so FT.Foxy had to drag him out the house, then Fexy got sent to a mental hospital/asylum/psych ward (idk which one exactly) and lots of other things. And we haven’t seen ANY Lolbit angst whatsoever. Don’t even get me started on Mangle or Ray. (You can just tell this is my favourite show, can’t you?)

Tbh I don’t watch that one alot but FT.Freddy Deffinetly has abondonment issues, as far as I know we never find out where that came from, Shadow Freddy had a bit of angst, Freddy is doing loads of things that I’m not bothered to say and ‘The Evil Gang’ or whatever their name is are another case of ‘comic relief villains’ I think.

I already posted about this by rebloggin soemthing but ‘Sun gets Therapy’ was so disappointing, Lunar acts like things are normal, I feel like Solar should be seeing things after killing his Moon because as the Old Moon said “when you kill someone, they’re not there, but you can see them” or something like that, Moon just screams and gets mad at people for angst and he did apologise to Monty and have that whole “I’m a loser blah blah blah” but that’s it, Sun is hiding ALOT and other things.

which is why it’s my second favourite show. I’m just sad Foxy said him and Monty are more acquaintances than friends :(… I respect that show. If anyone else wants to criticise the angst there, be my guest.

When the front door shut a little too hard, though, even the kids were suddenly wary. Steve and Robin walked in looking pale, though Steve was streaked with dirt and had a grim clench to his jaw. He hurried upstairs while Robin drifted into the living room, and taking a cue from their demeanour, Dustin got up to turn the TV off. “What happened?” he asked.

no you’re absolutely right it seems that tumblr has no discretion when it comes to which blogs to delete. straight up nazis can remain on the site but i can’t post some lewd shit despite tumblr originating from a site that allows it… and then when i’m deleted, other blogs that post even MORE explicit shit than me stay up untouched. absolutely ridiculous. if my mutuals weren’t mainly exclusively on tumblr- and if their tagging/reblogging/sideblog system wasn’t good- i’d be sooo out. i’ve been on tumblr alternatives but none of ‘em seem to have caught on quite yet and others are not really comparable.

i’m sorry about your nuking, ik now frustrating it is, this has been like my 5th time in the past year. 🙄 i hope you were able to recover anything important!
