• x2 5kg hand weight (hw)
• 10 kg hw
• 20kg barbell (bb)
• 9kg medicine ball (mb)
• 16kg kettle bell (kb)
• Step with 2x risers each side




Complete as many rounds as possible in 4 minutes:
- 6x alternating lunges
- 6x sumo squat, into standing with arms above head
Complete each set 2x before moving onto the next exercise. Each exercise is 40 seconds with a 10 second rest. Complete the whole circuit 2x.
- W/2x 5kg hw: Laying down on step, alternating shoulder press
- W/kb: On one side, suitcase lifts. Switch sides for the next set.
- W/10kg hw: On one side, bent over back rows. Switch sides for the next set.
- W/mb: Medicine ball slams
- Russian twists. Second set, lying leg extensions.
- W/5kg hw: Bicep curls
- W/bb: Sumo Squats

7.22.2025.
I was BEHIND all day. . . . I'm leaving tomorrow for a multi-day backpacking trip with a friend so I've been scrambling all day to find my gear and get organized. But, I also had a cake to finish too. I added hand-painted pieces and I shouldn't have spent so much time, but I wanted them to look a specific way.
Here's hoping I didn't forget to pack something important.
I did get a few miles in and some circuit training today. A few days of hiking is gonna be great.

Today's circuit:
Using *step *1 5kg hand weights *resistance band (my step has 2 risers added each side)

Each set of 3 exercises are done 2x
Each exercise is done for 45 seconds with 15 second rests in between
Set 1:
- *With hand weight (hw) held up at your chest* squat, right lunge, left lunge, repeat
- *With hw in the hand on the side with the leg you are balancing on* one leg deadlift on right side
- Repeat the above exercise on the left side
- *With hw in your hands hanging down in front of you* sumo squat into a calf raise
Set 2:
- *With step (s) and hw held at your chest* alternating step downs
- *Using s as an incline* pushup alternating shoulder tap
- *Using s* tricep dips
Step 3:
- *With resistance band (rb) centered under your feet, cross the ends into opposite hands and hold your hands at your hips* squat into alternating side leg lift, repeat
- * Leaving rb in the same hold* standing rows
- * Leaving the rb under your feet but uncrossing the band* bicep curls
Step 4:
- Dead bugs
- *With w on your hips* bridge pulses
