”Always so messy.”
Caleb speaks to himself, voice a low amused mutter as he deftly clears off the kitchen counter. You were staying the weekend in Skyhaven, evident by the random items strewn about his massive home. 
Yet, Caleb can’t help but smile as he eyes your belongings carelessly discarded all over his kitchen and living room. Your favorite fuzzy blanket draped over the couch’s armrest, grazing the floor. Your shoes haphazardly taken off by the front door, right next to, but not on, the dedicated shoe rack. Coasters left behind on the kitchen bar, still sticky with dripped apple soda.
You were a menace. But he wouldn’t trade your specific brand of chaos for anything in the entire universe. 
You were the one that made this lonely empty house a home, after all.
His grin widens as he remembers just how clean your own apartment in Linkon always is. Naturally, he comes to the conclusion that you only act like this when you know he’s there to pick up after you. To take care of you.
The most important job he’s ever had. 
The sound of the shower continues to run upstairs while Caleb tidies up the living spaces. He quickly returns ingredients back to their designated cabinets, abandoned after you so thoughtfully cooked dinner for him last night. As he shuts the cabinet, he sighs, eyes catching sight of the various vitamin bottles you’d left on the counter, nearly hidden by the rice cooker.
He gathers them up in his large palms, finding a spot for them in his own cabinet of medicine and supplements. 
One by one, he meticulously puts them onto the shelf.
Omega-3, vitamin C, collagen, creatine, prenatal gummies, vitamin B-12—
Wait.
Prenatal gummies?  
Caleb’s violet eyes widen, his breath stuck in his throat, as he reads those red words over and over.
Prenatal gummies for pregnant or nursing women. With folic acid and DHA. Whatever that meant.
His heartbeat quickens as his mind races a mile a minute, his thoughts landing abruptly on the only plausible explanation.
Were you really…pregnant? 
Was it possible? Yes. 
On more than one occasion, definitely way more times than he could count on two hands, he hadn’t been…careful. You’d begged for it, but he should have known better. It was his job to protect you.
But it’d always been on non-fertile days, or that’s what your little period-tracking calendar had always said. 
No, Caleb thinks in a sheer panic. Please no. I can’t be a dad. Not right now. Maybe not ever. 
He’d barely been able to protect you at the lab. He couldn’t possibly let down someone else—a child, a baby. Your baby. That you’d made together. 
He would not survive failing your child. Through heaven and hell, that is something he’d never be able to recover from. 
Caleb runs a shaky hand through his dark brown hair, his normally controlled and collected Colonel’s mask completely and utterly shattered at his feet.
Right now, he was just Caleb, the man who dedicated his entire life, who’d give up anything and everything, to protect you—and would do so until his last breath. 
And this Caleb had never been more terrified in his entire life. Through an entire life of experimentation, through traveling the Deepspace Tunnel, through an explosion that nearly claimed his life, he’d never been more scared than he was right now.
Fatherhood.
The world felt like it was closing in on him—every time he’d failed you replaying in the ever expanding black hole that was his mind. 
The lab. Losing you during the Chronorift Disaster. Every bully, every knee scraped. Ever. The Toring chip. The list goes on and on. 
His chest tightened until he could hardly breathe, his knuckles white with the force at which he gripped the bottle of prenatals. 
He wasn’t equipped for this. 
And yet…he couldn’t deny how many times he’d thought about this life, with you. A life of mundane and blissful domesticity. No Fleet politics, no Wanderers, no imminent danger at every fucking corner. 
A life you’d created together. When he’d grown up thinking there was no such thing. That there would never be a world that the two of you could truly call yours.
“Caleb?”
Your voice pulls him out of his all-consuming thoughts. His head snaps up to see you coming down the stairs, your hair wet, body swimming in one of his big shirts. Your face, beautiful as ever, is laced with concern as you see how uncharacteristically pale he is.
When his eyes meet yours, you can’t help but smile, always so happy to see his face and sparkling nebulous eyes—even when he looked like he’d just seen a ghost. Your smile doesn’t fade as you approach him, palms instinctively coming to rest on his chest when you reach him. 
And just like that, he wasn’t so scared anymore. 
The thought of a little you running around. With that smile?
A mini version of the most precious thing in his life. One that’d undoubtedly drive him insane with that same attitude he loved so dearly. 
That had your laugh as he pointed out different types of planes soaring through the sky. Or your mischievous curiosity as he taught him how to fly his very first jet.
Yeah. He could get used to the idea of that. 
“Did something happen? You look like you’re about to be sick,” you raise an eyebrow at him. It’s then he finally releases the plastic bottle of supplements, setting it down on the counter with a soft ‘clack’. 
Your eyes immediately drift to the source of the intrusive sound, widening when they see what he was so fixated on.
”Caleb it’s—”
You’re cut off by your own squeal, Caleb’s big palms gently but firmly gripping either side of your waist, pulling you so close you could hear his pounding heart. 
“Am I—I mean are we actually…Are you pregnant?”
You can’t help but giggle at his frantic words, stumbling over himself with none of the usual poise and polish of the Farspace Fleet’s revered colonel. 
Caleb’s hand moves from your waist to your tummy, his thumb stroking softly against the fabric of his ratty shirt. His palm cups against your naval without thinking, already instinctively providing a protective barrier between the most important things to him and the rest of the world.
”I…I don’t know if I’d be any good at this,” he whispers, nebulous eyes bright with emotion, “I don’t know if I’d be a good dad.”
Your eyes widen at his vulnerable admission, not expecting it in the least. You’d never expressly discussed starting a family that extended beyond the two of you, but it’d always felt like something Caleb wanted. A stark contrast to his words, you always knew Caleb would be an amazing dad, if that was what the two of you decided you wanted.
Before you can interrupt, Caleb continues, “But—God help me…I will never let anything happen to you. Either of you.”
Your heart flutters at the sincerity of his solemn vow, and you find yourself unable to form the words you should say.
”Caleb…you….” you trail off with a gulp, unsure how to verbalize the torrent of emotions you have for this unbelievably incredible man.
“You’d be the best father.” Your quiet whisper rings whole-heartedly, voice thick with adoration and a bubbling anticipation for your future with him.
Caleb watches you with rapt attention, his heartbeat still hammering like the thrum of a hummingbird’s wings amidst the silence between you two. You’re about to open your mouth again—tell him you’re not pregnant, when he picks you up and backs away from the kitchen counter so he can spin you around. His strong hands are secure under your armpits, the smile on his face so effortlessly Caleb.
Behind the thin mist of fear in his eyes, this was the brightest you’d ever seen Caleb.
You can’t help but burst into a fit of giggles, clutching his muscled shoulders.
“Caleb, put me down!” you demand through your unabashed laugh of delight.
”No,” Caleb grins, “You’re never walking anywhere ever again—never lifting a single finger. Not while you’re carrying our baby.” He suddenly swings you so that his arm is hooked under your knees, carrying you like a prince would a princess.
You smile so wide your cheeks hurt, but you know you have to tell him the truth. You couldn’t bear to disappoint him, but what’s worse was giving him false hope.
Reaching up to tenderly cup his face with your hands, your voice shakes, “Caleb…”
Caleb smiles warmly at you, his cheeks leaning into your touch, “Yeah, princess?”
You bite your lip at how adorably he resembles a happy puppy, his earlier fear seeming to have evaporated into pure excitement. 
You find tears inexplicably forming in your eyes, grieving a pregnancy that was never even there to begin with. Blinking them back, you rip off the bandaid.
“I’m not pregnant.”
Seeing the befuddled expression in his features, his amethyst eyes squinting with unanswered questions, you continue, “The prenatals aren’t for that. A friend recommended them for my skin. Since work’s been a little stressful and I’ve been breaking out.”
You clutch his jacket, staring at his chest—waiting for him to speak. To express disappointment. Maybe even scold you for letting him believe, even if only for a minute. 
“You’re stressed? How come you didn’t tell me? What’s going on at work?”
Caleb only stares at you with genuine concern, still not setting you down, holding you tighter. Your heart hammers at the worry laced in his voice, drowning in emotions that that was what he was most concerned about. 
Your troubles.
“N-Nothing serious, it’s just workplace politics—anyways! The point is I’m not pregnant, okay? I’m sorry. Please don’t be mad.” 
You can’t stop the apology from tumbling out, even when you know you have nothing to be sorry for. But just seeing how excited he’d been is enough to make you feel like a monster for being the one to squash it. 
Caleb sets you down so that you’re sitting on the counter, his thick body positioned between your thighs. Your heart can’t help but sink at the simple action that felt like it signified so much more. That he was disappointed with you.
But suddenly Caleb flicks your forehead with his index finger.
“Hey!” 
“Dummy,” he mutters, thumb soothing the area he’d flicked, “Why are you sorry?” 
“I—you were so excited,” you say sheepishly, “I probably should’ve mentioned I started taking them before you found them yourself.” 
Caleb chuckles, almost in disbelief, hooking your hair behind your ear. Before he can respond, you whisper, “You’re really not mad?”
“How could I be mad?”
His hand abandons the edge of the counter, once again coming to rest over your stomach. His thumb strokes you reassuringly.
“Just knowing that you think I…” he trails off, his own voice murky with emotions. 
“That I’d be worthy of being the father of your children.” 
You place your hand over his, squeezing gently. It felt almost comical—the two of you in the kitchen, hands pressed over your stomach like there was anything there. 
“Besides, I’m not in a rush,” he smiles gently, taking your chin into his fingers and brushing his lips against yours. 
“We have a whole lifetime to make our own little pip-squeak.”

maintaining ur health by taking supplements is something that i do and its made a big difference in my health. because im taking my vitamins and supplements i feel a lot better and i dont get sick often at all.

i take a daily multivitamin in the morning and at night i take magnesium + D3 because its helped me fix my sleep schedule and just have better quality of sleep. plus its a better alternative to melatonin ᡣ𐭩 •。ꪆৎ ˚⋅✍🏽

♡ chia seed water every morning

make sure that ur not consuming more than 1-2 tbsp of chia seeds a day but i put 2 tablespoons of chia seeds in my water every morning cuz its an amazing source of fiber, and they're rich in omega-3 fatty acids and other vitamins and minerals.
♡ if im experiencing inflammation i'll take some warm water, turmeric and some lemon
♡ chlorophyll water (bonus points if u add a lemon wedge)
chlorophyll is an internal deodorizer! it helps to detoxify the body by binding to and eliminating toxins, heavy metals, and harmful substances. it also helps with skin concerns like acne 💕
♡ dry brushing
dry brushing is something else that i do that has an impact on my health. dry brushing unclogs pores in the exfoliation process. it also helps detoxify your skin by increasing blood circulation and promoting lymph flow/drainage. so not only am i exfoliating for softer more princessy skin, im also promoting my lymph flow and increasing my blood circulation.
THE IMPORTANCE OF HYDRATION ;
i know everyone always talks about how important it is to drink water and its lowkey overdone but its TRUE. water is so SO important. if u have difficulty drinking enough water invest in a cute water bottle with a straw. i say with a straw cuz i feel like personally, im more inclined to drink water if its out of a straw.

YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT ;
when ur eating, try focusing on how the food ur eating is making you feel. everyones body responds differently to different foods so by noticing how u feel after eating something, you can have a better idea of what u should continue eating and what u should steer clear of. with that being said, lets get into this section. 🗒️
something else that i wanted to yap about in this section is that there is a difference between restricting urself and self control. eating shouldn't be bringing u anxiety and ur allowed to let urself live. so eat to feel satiated and happy, dont eat to the point where you feel sick and like u can barely move.
something that has helped me be more conscious of what im choosing to fuel my body with is the 80-20 rule. choose the healthier option 80% of the time and the 20% of the time eat yummy pastries and cakes 💕
if ur someone who has difficulty eating vegetables, try cooking them in a different way and seasoning them adequately to make them yummy, masking them in different dishes. OR if that doesnt work for u get ur veggies in smoothies. cuz u gotta get in some fruits and vegetables.
im someone who loves to have a fun drink in the mornings and during the day so i've been super obsessed with making my own smoothies. my smoothie formula is super simple and it has never failed me.

whether thats going to the gym, stretching, playing a sport, going on walks, dancing etc. there are literally SO many ways that u can move ur body and enjoy urself ᡣ𐭩 •。ꪆৎ ˚⋅ some things that i like to do to stay active are →
♡ dancing ♡ stretching ♡ jump-roping (my favorite) ♡ walking
the trick to this is using the stair master machine OR if u dont have one in ur gym, u can just go on the treadmill at an incline for like 30 minutes or however long u can, and putting ur hands up to ur head and keeping ur posture straight. aim for at least a 5-10% incline, but you can go higher depending on your fitness level…💬🎀
or ofc u can go on walks with ur pet or ✨hot girl walks✨ and walk while listening to a podcast, literally whatever u prefer.

saw your post about chronic pain and thought i'd give some pointers (from someone who is developing chronic pain themself and is learning how to deal with it)
stretching is important. yes i know this is the most basic ass response someone can say but trust me here. i am an artist who has been in shrimp position for more than 50% of my life (thus far) and just doing simple shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand stretches before/after working helps a T O N in the long run. it will be painful at first! it always is! but stretching does help to prevent even more pain down the line. i am unsure what pain bothers you the most (mine is my feet, lower legs, lower back and arms), so i'd suggest starting with some simple stretches in the regions where you tend to have pain.
collagen. if you don't know what that is, i can give you a summary without the science-speak: its the stuff in your joints that keeps your cartilage from breaking down. best way(s) to get it? if you are simple, and can afford it, they sell the stuff as vitamin supplements. if you're looking for a way to just naturally get more into your diet, i would suggest bone broth. (yes you could buy bone broth, but if you go through meat on the regular, and are able to cut bones out of them, don't toss out the bones! make bone broth with em. i would give an entire guide of how to do it but i would be here for much longer)
waterrrrr. the drinkerrrrrrrrrrrrr. hydration is also really important for preventing joint pain (or really pain of any variety). making sure to get proper hydration is important. if you live in a city area where the tap water might not be good, please be sure to get mineral water and not pure distilled. while distilled does taste better, it lacks a lot of minerals that water can naturally have that would be of benefit to your health.
don't overexert yourself!!!!!!!! please please PLEASE be sure to sit down if you need to (and are able to). repeated overuse of your muscles/bones/tendons can have a negative impact in the worst ways possible. (also getting a walker or cane is ideal!!! most walgreens and/or cvs's have an asile dedicated to mobility aids!!! do not feel ashamed to use it if you need it!! please!!!)
in terms of short term solutions, ibuprofen will not kill you. just be sure to rotate tylenol and ibuprofen. doing this will prevent you from unintentional ODing. (you may have heard this one before. if so feel free to ignore it)
going to an arthritis clinic sooner rather than later is a good idea. i don't know what your physical/insurance situation is like, but as someone who just recently was told by a primary care that the symptoms i am having is similar to rheumatoid arthritis [which runs in the family] (and really needs to move into a different state or city or town and get a different insurance that can cover the cost of multiple arthritis doctor visits AND a doctor who will take them seriously), it is important that you go to an arthritis clinic as soon as possible. If you do not know where to go, and are able to ask your primary doctor for a referral, most primary care doctors will refer you to something that is on your healthcare plan
i do apologize if this was really really long and winding... i am not the best at keeping things short
well i just realized i am living badly because
- i never stretch
- i am comstanrlh underhydrated
- i am always up and out and about hyerexerting myself
- only use ibuprofen

sooo im going through of phase where i randomly decided to take a bunch of supplements which we have in the house lmao which i thought was kinda ridiculous and i was doing it somewhat for the shits and giggles w my mom but i be damned its been a week/ week and a half and ive been waking up not feeling as exhausted!!!! which is very rare for me and only happens a few times of the year. and also my brain hasnt been as foggy!! my digestion also seems better!
in case this helps anyone (i have eds chronic fatigue pots chronic pain) i have been taking b12, magnesium, food multi vitamins, another multivitamin liquid thing which also contains collagen (yes this is overkill), d3 and cordycepts mushroom extract. yes the multivitamins and the drink stuff also contain this stuff so all together im probably taking pretty high doses and i also cant say Which of these things have helped bc theyre all together so this isnt exactly the most scientific review lol. but. maybe it helps someone to know that Something seems to be helping. if anyone wants i can send photos of the lables

Gut health -> all that is related to your stomach, intestines and this area. (very simple definition)
-> basically it is about the food that you put in your body
Symptoms of an unhealthy gut
bloating
high stress level
lack of energy
difficulty to lose weight
no sleeping beauty
skin issues
You can clean an unhealthy gut by adopting some habits. This a long process, it takes time. But what takes time is beautiful at the end. You need to love this process, that why you need to eat food that you love. It is not a diet. You can have cheat meals, eating cupcakes and everything. Don't put too much pressure on yourself
Solutions
Sleeping beauty - again. Your sleep is important. 7-8 hours you know that. How many hours do you have concerning your sleep ? 12 pm is not like 8 pm even if you have 7 hours at the end lol. Be careful about that
Eat slowly - omg this is hard to this. I like to eat fast. But this important so that your brain can understand what's happen. Moreover, you're gonna be full slowly instead of eating fast and THEN take another potion.
Drink water - you know this part
Supplements - before anything else, you should go to the doctor, to see if there is something that is missing. Do you need a prebiotic ? you're body doesn't like gluten ? What causes you bloating ? good to know good to not make an useless investment
NOW 👹
Your diet - what do you eat on a daily basis ? Always junk food ? Only sweets ? Do you feel full after one plate or not ? What is your favorite meal ?
The gut is more about the food you eat unlike your cortisol level. Here is some examples
High fiber foods -> veggies, nuts, fruits, rice, quinoa, beans
fermented foods -> kimchi ( omg so good !), sauerkraut, yogurt, miso, garlic = rich in probiotics
Collagen -> eggs, bone broth, fruits,
Cranberry -> very good for woman. It helps with 🐱 issues
Tea - I really like ginger tea and mint tea. There are also shots that you can take.
This is a non exhaustive list. Look up all the foods that you want the benefits of. For your skin, hair, weight loss. Most importantly take the one that you LOVE
Obviously eat your fries and your pizza there is no restrictions ! Practice the 80/20 rule
Enhancing your gut health is going to be crucial for your level up journey. Food is important. What we put inside is a reflection of the outside.
I heard someone said eating poorly doesn't us in all aspect of our lives! You can have long nails, a good skin, hair just by eating good and this so true. I struggle a lot with sugar, especially chocolate. A lot with fries pls if I can eat this for the rest of my life. But I have to make an effort otherwise I would not be my higher self.

Could you make an example post about what you eat in a day? I'm not asking for exact portions, or anything, more like meal examples, like what is for break fast, snacks, lunch and dinner. Like, how and when do you fit all those collagen drinks and yogurts and supplements and veggies and all nutrients that we need
Of course!
Every morning when I wake up, I have a glass of hot lemon and ginger water, a celery juice, and a shot of ginger, turmeric, and sea buckthorn. I take my supplements for the morning, and then I take my protein shake with me to whatever exercise class I have booked for the morning, and have breakfast when I get back.
My breakfast is much the same every day: I have a bowl of homemade yoghurt with seasonal fruit and local honey, eggs and patés with vegetable sticks, a green juice, and a cup of collagen matcha.
I drink a variety of beverages throughout the day, and I aim for around 2–3 litres of infused water alongside different herbal teas and juices. I add gelatine and tremella to my hot drinks, and also take sips of a cup of Dioralyte throughout the morning to boost my hydration levels. I don’t tend to snack between meals, but if I do, then I usually have something simple, like some nuts or dried fruit.
Lunch is usually my biggest meal of the day, and I try to incorporate organ meats and fermented foods into my lunch if I can. Lunch is the most varied meal for me, and I eat something difficult everyday—it’s my excuse for trying new recipes! I have a cup of herbal tea and some sparkling infused water with my meal, and then a shot of pure aloe juice afterwards to help with digestion. I have another cup of matcha mid-afternoon, to keep my energy up, but always before 4pm so that I can sleep well.
My dinners are quite small, because I don’t have much of an appetite towards the end of the day, and I struggle to sleep with a full stomach. It’s pretty much the same thing every day: I have a broth of some kind to start, and then fish or seafood with steamed or roasted vegetables.
Before bed, I have my evening supplements and a cup of sleepy herbal tea. I don’t like to eat anything at least 2 hours before bedtime, because it really disrupts my sleep and makes me bloated in the morning. I make sure to have a bottle of water (with a pinch of salt and lemon) beside my bed overnight, in case I wake up especially thirsty.

MORNING RITUALS ;
the rituals that i do in the morning are PREPARATION for the day ahead. i like to get up early so that i have plenty of time to just be present and cater to my own needs and preferences.

morning supplements and cleanse drinks
first thing in the morning i like to drink a glass of chlorophyll water and i'll take all my supplements like collagen, vitamin C and D and magnesium. doing so is me taking care of my health and putting first.
morning sweat session (a rly rly good workout session)
working out in the morning is so so GOOD. it gives me so much energy and rly helps me start off my days on the right foot. i'll do either a light workout or pilates depending on how my body is feeling.
EVENING RITUALS ;
the rituals that i do to unwind and prepare myself for a restful night. some rituals are for preparing for another successful day and some rituals are simply to take care of me in that specific moment.
drinking a cup of tea
i always drink the same tea every night (peppermint/spear mint tea). sometimes i'll add other tea bags to my teas and do a cool blend, but something about a simple cup of tea always brings me the most comfort.

reading every day is so good for ur mind and it makes for such amazing entertainment. buy urself a rly juicy and interesting book and commit to reading before bed every single night instead of scrolling on ur phone.

having a juicy show to look forward to at the end of the day is so much fun and lowkey like a reward system/form of comfort. i've just finished all eight seasons of desperate housewives and im going to start a new show soon, but sometimes i watch my comfort shows.

I don't know about Dogwhistles™ specifically. I know that fascists are obsessed with the Roman Empire, that they commonly idolize masculine Roman figures and art and use Latin names like "Aurelius," and that when someone shows you an image of something old-fashioned like an austere 19th century European scene with the comment "Look at what THEY took from us," THEY, the majority of the time, is Jews. I checked this person's (blue-checked) X account and all they seem to post about, despite presenting themself as an account for a... collagen supplement(?), is how porn and veganism are degrading the men of our society, the "scam" of 2nd wave feminism, family, God, the evils of alcohol and sunscreen, and how "everyone was hot before the 1970s."
The triple parentheses is a fash dogwhistle they put on Jewish people's names to reference how our last names echo through history, which is not something I have noticed (and I would know about echoing names). When I refer to myself (or Jews as a group) with the triple parentheses, it's reclamatory, tongue-in-cheek way of saying "it's important context that I'm Jewish when I call out this fascist."

Raia's diet is extremely healthy, rich in fiber, protein and fluids. She doesn't smoke, drink alcohol nor coffee, prefers teas without caffeine such as honeybush. Drugs are absolutely out of the picture, the only additional supplement she is taking is fruit flavored collagen powder mixed daily into her water.
Her exercises are personalized, fine tuned to her limits by her: cardio, weight lifting, different kinds of martial arts and yoga, breathing exercises, stretching; this combined with her diet not only allowed her to look youthful but also to not lose anything from her abilities even in her 40s

She doesn't feel her age the slightest, never slows down, can't sit still; she always has to do something with the amount of pent up energy circulating in her.
Thankfully her exposure to drugs during captivity wasn't overly excessive as the Don wanted her to be lucid during sessions, to not allow her the mercy of unconsciousness and to see her break. He didn't get to see that. The damage however is slowly creeping up on her, she is slowly developing tachycardia and ventricular tachycardia. She is aware yet she doesn't lessen the stress on her body; after all she has to die in something.
Raia had undergone multiple surgeries regarding her mauled/tortured/ruined right hand, the best surgeons, neurosurgeons managed to restore full dexterity, despite how hopeless it looked, motivated by the triple of their usual salary. It was 80% successful, she has to warm it up after every rest, needing near constant blood circulation. The worst is after waking up and in cold weather.
She has a ridiculously high tolerance to heat. Most of her workouts are done outdoors, usually 8-12 am, warming up as the weather does. Her most comfortable weather is around 95 F / 35 Celsius (can be higher) with clean air and an occasional breeze. She does just fine in tropical conditions as well.
However, she does not like the cold the slightest, meaning anything below 77 F / 25 Celsius. Her joints are stiff, harder to maintain their fluidity, flexibility which is crucial to her skillset. Therefore if her job calls her to colder climate, the price is usually the double than she would ask for a ‘jungle expedition’.

She definitely doesn't skip leg day. Yes, she can crack a watermelon open with her thighs; tried it because the gang kept nagging her about it.
Her balance is past extraordinary, sometimes she practices in 6 inch stripper boots; if she can execute a move wearing that, then surely she can with more...combat appropriate footwear as well.
Raia is all about finesse regarding combat, she is a graceful, elegant, agile and acrobatic fighter. She isn't defenseless without daggers/knives/swords, well versed in mostly eastern martial art styles and many joint locks, breaks. She is precision and aims to kill first and foremost, the type to bring a knife into a gunfight and win. She strongly resembles to a feline the way she moves, strikes: fast, fluid and fatal.

Hey so reminder that if you start taking a supplement and notice something off look it up, don't just ignore it. I started taking a collagen supplement yesterday and noticed some indigestion that came out of nowhere. It went away by morning but then came back a couple hours later this morning. Which prompted me to look up online if indigestion could be caused by collagen. Answer is yes, collagen supplements are known to cause indigestion for some people. It is not a dangerous side effect but it is a very uncomfortable one and a reason to stop taking it.

Okay so... Face Care.
Skin care in general. So @gaphic has more and better thoughts but I saw a post from a gay porn blog that got me thinking so.
There are A Lot of skin care products out there, just like.... So Fucking Many. There are toners, serums, exfoliators, scrubs, soaps, oils, supplements, creams, vitamins, masks, combos of all these and more. However MOST are nonsense, completely useless.

This is collagen
It is Very Large, as proteins go. It Cannot Fit In Pores. Unless they are injecting it directly into your skin collagen does Nothing, zip zilch Nada. If you consume it, the collagen is broken down like any other protein and is not reconstituted back into the same amount of collagen. It may be used partially to create some collagen, but it is the same amount your body normally produces. Your body is producing collagen and maintaining collagen, it does this using food you eat. Eating collagen is not going to trick your body into making more.

Vitamin serums, these can be beneficial depending on the person, more often than not though it is an Oil and the benefit is the fact you are applying Oil to your skin because Your Skin is Leather.

So there are differences between your skin and the skin of an animal in laboratory settings where medical research is done. But when used as leather human skin is Very Similar to any other animal skin. This means that it has similar Needs. You don't clean leather with Water you apply Oils.

These are essential as shown above in cell protection. Allowing only a specific amount of liquids in, it is essential that cells do not have too much or too little water in them. When we wash our hands we break down this lipid layer of Hopefully harmful pathogens, corona virus for one. This is why handwashing is essential in medical settings and for lower disease transmission. But, that is because your hands touch EVERYTHING. They have a specific set of rules that apply to them for that reason, you aren't going to rub your eye with your knee (if you do weird flex but okay).
So with all this being said what actually does something for your skin. Let's look at what our skin does first. It grows, it sheds by flaking off slowly, it has pores that release oils and sweat, and has layers. As skin cells age they start drying out and flake off. These are pressed off by the new skin being produced underneath, like a tree producing bark. Dead skin cells and dirt and any other contaminants are prevented from harming your skin by a layer of oil. This is commonly where white heads come from, dead skin and dirt and bacteria aren't carried away and congeal in this oil and block a pore. So skin needs to have this top layer of dead skin and oil removed while leaving the oil in our skin and not harming the new skin.
Soap. Soap breaks down oil, it breaks it down really really well. Thats great for dishes and hands and messes all over the house. For your Whole Body it is ATROCIOUS. You wash off oil and dry your skin to then apply moisturizer aka replacement OIL. Your skin uses OIL to protect against bacteria and contaminants.

Your skin cannot absorb all that water from the shower, if you use soap all over that strips the oil that retain said water and dries out the cells, which you then need to drink water and apply oils again so they can start refilling.
What we will instead do is assist this massive organ in what it already does really really well.
First, exfoliating. Exfoliating just means removing dead skin and the oil that has already done it's work and now has bacteria, skin, and dirt just waiting to be whisked away. Warm water will warm up this oil and fats and your hands or a cloth can remove it. Your hands are rather abrasive so for more sensitive skin or daily washing hands work well and you can wash them after. I use those scrubby gloves they feel Great, I have well oiled skin so the extra scruff just drags away dead skin. I also Highly recommend micellar water for your face. On bad days you can look at the cotton swab and see it become skin colored, just whisks away dirt, makeup, dead skin. Just a cotton swab with some micellar water while in the shower. That's it btw, no lathering needed. You can use soap for spot cleaning or if I work on a car I'll literally have black grease on me and only soap gets that off. Also, I use soap on my ass but I'm gay so there are additional needs being met.
Second, toner. Toner is something I did not think did anything. It does, a good toner will help rebalance the pH of your skin after it getting fucked by a bunch of water, presumably heavily chlorinated water. A good toner will also help reduce bacterial growth in your really sweaty areas like between your legs and pits, reducing harsh smells. I use diluted apple cider vinegar, works great and the smell of the apple cider vinegar when applied to skin goes away in a few minutes. Salt water is also a form of toner in this sense, the salt is antimicrobial and helps stabilize your pH.
Third, oil. Oil is your friend. Oil will change your skin for the better. I use jojoba, it is very similar in consistency to the oil your skin naturally produces. Apply this everywhere, you want it everywhere and it will lock in moisture and assist in protecting your skin throughout the day. I apply a moisturizer before the oil, you really don't have to but I think it feels nice. Most moisturizes will do the trick, just get what you like and is cheap, much like wine.
Fourth, sunscreen. Yeah, listen sunscreen does work. It is real and genuine and you will honestly probably notice a reduction in acne and skin problems once you start. The sun is a deadly lazer. Australian made sunscreen works Really well they have strict standards for efficacy. Don't trust those 150 SPF that's an insane factor that isn't really achievable, they are fibbing usually.
I barely use soap now and my skin is amazing, it feels good. I of course use soap where needed, I work in healthcare so I wash my hands like a fanatic. I have never smelt better, I have never felt cleaner, I save so much money by just not succumbing to this cavalcade of tinctures and potions and snake oils... (Actually snake oil sounds nice) it's hard to describe fully but my skin feels Better.

It feels like this. Moisturized, full, warm, clean. Thats another thing I'm Warmer since I started doing this, my skin feels warmer and keeps me warmer when I'm well oiled. I don't flake skin like crazy and I itch rarely. I oil my scalp and my hair is thick and luscious and my dandruff went away. I can buy most of these things in bulk, I also don't have a twelve step thirty minute long morning and night routine. I know we hear over and over and over again "omg you don't scrub every inch of your body with soap every day???????? Thats so grooooosssssss thats unhygienic!!!!!!!!" But there just isn't evidence to support that. Yes if you literally do not wash yourself that is unhygienic. You are not making yourself less covered in bacteria by scrubbing with soap. You Are Mostly Bacteria By Volume. You are COVERED in living things, you are ALIVE that is just how it is. The conditions to render something sterile are the conditions required to kill All Living Things. Boiling water, extreme heat, radiation, or a series of some of the harshest chemicals we have. You are not benefitting yourself or others by committing a mass slaughter of your non pathogenic microbiome. You are just gonna be itchy.

have u ever woken up from a vivd dream and thought "what does that even mean?" yeah same. so i decided to dive into this for this catalog and here's what i found. dreams represent unconscious desires and wishes. we have dreams that mirror our emotional state.
three of the most common dreams that people have are falling, being chased, and dying. which are all inherently negative things. when u dream of falling, it shows a loss of control over an important situation. when u dream of being chased, thats ur brains way of telling u that ur stressed out. and when u dream of dying, it could represent a part of you that is dying or something you'd like to escape.

blake is getting called out for how shes been acting during her press tour for it ends with us and her past actions and behaviors that rly showcase how tone deaf she is. the movie is based on the book it ends with us that was written by colleen hoover, and in the book it explores topics such as domestic violence, emotional abuse etc. because of the serious nature of the movie, her saying "grab ur friends, wear ur florals" was a tone mismatch.

a clip of her is going viral where she was asked by the interviewer on, what was the best way someone who understands the themes of the movie, could talk to her. and she responds with literal sarcasm. leaving everyone confused and kind of put off. furthermore during the filming for the movie about literal DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. she launches a haircare brand. which could just be unfortunate timing but i feel like with how good marketing is, this wasn't a coincidence but thats just my opinion.
the last thing i wanna talk about is an interview a while back when blake was pregnant. the interviewer congratulated her saying "congrats on ur little bump" which is so sweet. blake responds "congrats on YOUR little bump" which was SO uncalled for because one, the lady wasn't pregnant and two, the lady literally couldn't have kids. throughout the interview blake just continued to be absolutely obnoxious, ignoring the interviewers questions and just being such a horrible guest.

one of my favorite marilyn monroe outfits was her gorgeous deep burgandy silky dress in the film how to marry a millionaire. in this film we get the ICONIC diamonds are a girls best friend and honestly they're right. marilyn sports GORGEOUS diamond jewelry in this movie that rly tie her outfits together and give the air of luxury and opulence that is so so hard to recreate which is why no one can do it quite like marilyn.
marilyn rly made the iconic 1950s glam what it was. everything from her signature platinum blonde bob to her gorgeous, feminine allure. in her film gentlemen prefer blondes shes wearing an absolutely stunning orange dress that shows off her body. it has a super flowy mermaid cut at the bottom which compliments the snugness of the dress around her waist, hips and chest.
