Reading To Learn of The Organ Harvest

With the next full moon being a safe 24 days away he decided to mention organ harvesting, transplant tourism, and how often organs sourced from vulnerable individuals through exploitative means, sometimes even through forced organ harvesting, took place.

So he read a little on the subject and began to learn a little. He then wrote the findings of what he had learned a little of for others to also learn a little from. In one significant case he read of, a single organ broker was found to have committed 80 crimes within 5 years. This trafficking network of illegally got organs had involving over $4 million in organ payments. That was a lot of money and must have involved lots of vulnerable people.

He learned that the clandestine nature of organ trafficking networks made it difficult to track the goings on of them. It often involved sophisticated criminal networks and, unfortunately, it sometimes involved legitimate medical professionals who were rarely convicted for their involvement.

As he read further into the subject he began to understand that while direct illegal organ trading, within Korea for example, may have become limited due to stricter more recent changes in the law, the demand from Korean patients contributed to a transnational illegal organ trade. This demand encouraged a type of organ trade now known as transplant tourism. These trade routes had pushed more significantly towards countries like China where such practices were more prevalent.

Transplant Tourism is what he found to be the main concern within the militarised organ harvesting he had read a little into to learn a little from. He had read a little into a subject matter of a clandestine and delicate nature to learn a little subtle understanding from it.

Now he had mentioned their trade he wondered how the national hospital staff at his locality would be used to react. Now that he had indicated towards the organised involvement of their profession he wondered how long it would be before his attention span suffered. Would they again begin closing down the network routes. Would he again be blamed, blocked, disabled, then poisoned, as their past routines had been prone to the behaviour of?

So a system that tracks where all on duty heroes are located and can make requests to have heroes appear in specific locations - That seems like a big vulnerability.

If All for One wasn't an ancient street orphan without any formal education, he probably would have taken down hero society a long time ago. Somehow All for One never bothered to hire a hacker when even a youtube prankster like Gentle Criminal managed to have one able to get through UA's security. Beyond that, All for One had underlings with hero licenses and who probably had access to the network - Number Six and Aoyama at least and likely more. It's mind numbing that no villain was ever shown using this centralized system to their advantage.

seriously so annoying when ppl act like they can't do XYZ bc they'll "get into trouble" (9 times out of 10 the thing they're talking about isn't even enforced anyway). Like ok let's assume they're talking about something where there is a real threat of eg state retaliation, people do do that anyway and it is kinda just downright disrespectful to the ppl who have put themselves on the line in taking that action to suggest it's simply impossible to do things that you also would get into trouble for. if you personally don't want to risk eg prison or whatever then say that, cause there's plenty of people who feel otherwise. it's not physically impossible to break the law (not to mention that a lot of instances where this attitude crops up, the "getting into trouble" being discussed is not even criminal "trouble" lol).
