How to make?

You need three official Funko Pop figures!

Batman (2022) - Bruce Wayne (Suit) #1193 Head for S3 figure, body for S4 figure

Westworld - Dr. Robert Ford #460 Body for S3 figure (thanks for the recommendation @lokinightfury)

Dune - Paul Atreides #1026 or #1493 Head for S4 figure

On youtube you can find tutorials for creating custom figures. I recommend you do some research.

Anyway, by soaking the figure in hot water you can soften the plastic of the head and it is easier to separate (beware of hot water, it will also flow into the head of the figure, so don't burn yourself!). But you might be able to separate the figure heads without it. The neck joint can then be snapped back.

If you get the Paul with #1026 you win, if you get the #1493 version you will have to repaint his eyes. Hopefully you'll have more talent than me for that, haha. 😁

Obey Me! custom figures (made by me)

Here's a few more of my Obey Me! customs, since the feedback on my last post was really lovely 🥰 I appreciate everybody's kind words so, so much! All of these figures were made by me, and (besides Satan and Solomon) were commissions that are currently in the possession of their new owners.

A while ago I made a quick design for a proposed MLP style line, but it's snakes. I called this character Melon.

Well, I'd actually started sculpting an actual figure of Melon the Snake, but then forgot about it. Only found the sculpt I'd started when I went looking for my air-dry clay. So I finished it and got her painted.

I might one day (if I feel like it) try again. I don't really like working with air-dry clay. It's hard to get smooth, takes ages to dry, and it shrinks, which can distort the sculpt. I struggled a lot and can't say I'm 100% happy with the results.

Still, I'm glad she's done. Kinda reminds me of something Moriah Elizabeth on youtube might make lol.

Another Custom. Not Baxter this time. No it's my other evil murderous blorbo. I had been wanting to make this for a while now & the body finally came so I got to it. This was a mefex action figure body & the head sculpt I used was actually a Winter soldier/Bucky head. I felt it did Brad more justice than the Grima wormtongue others used. Happy with the outcome

Custom Tactical Takedown. Y'all know I had to do him. I told y'all I honestly love him. Granted there wasn't really much to work with on him given that he's just a TV screen so I got a miniature TV (no cart sadly) and put his face on it. But that's not it. I also decided to get another mirage & paint him into his avatar form I gave him a while back.

Custom Zilla figure

Completed customising Master Team's Leon 1/6 scale figure based on the RE4 Remake's in-game models for as close an authentic look as possible.

Painted the t-shirt with acrylic paints. Payne's Gray for the main body, and a mix of Payne's Gray & Prussian Blue for the shoulders & sleeves. Mars Black was used on the collar detail.

The jacket was soaked in cold tea for 25 minutes to darken the fleece lining. The zip was painted with Brass coloured acrylic paint, and the zipper was swapped around.

The harness straps were shortened to raise the holster & pouch above the waist for an overall better fit to the body. Additional button details were added to the front & back.

Additional leg and belt pouches were darkened with watercolour paints.

Destructor Rex

A long time ago I grabbed a Lightyear Zurg figure at a Ross for around $8.

Lightyear bombing has been a bonanza of cheap, cool starships and custom fodder at Ollie's and Ross stores. I have the O7 Test ship currently being piloted by Evil Lyn (It's just a skosh too small for Origins guy characters).

I loved Zurg's huge figure's design, but have zero connection to that version of Zurg, so he was always going to be a custom. A Zuru Smashers Dino-Skull was a recent Bday gift, and it gave me an opportunity:

Zuru's high-end stuff is cool and comes with a ton of stuff your action figure collectors would be into, and one of the things that makes them cool is that they don't really blind-bag anything over $10. There's always a bone or claw or dino-head sticking out of the package that's color coded that lets you know what you're in for. In this case, a really huge hollow rubber dinosaur head.

So I popped it out of the nostril, traced the nostril hole onto some paper, used that to trace that onto the decapitated Zurg, dremmeled out the shape, made sure it was hollow enough for the plug, and boil-and-popped the head in place.

When it comes to boil-and-popping, be careful, the head is hollow and will hide hot water. But it also squishes nicely once heated and then hardens very solid once cooled, so I'm confident this connection is permanent.

The base of the head is D-shaped, so articulation isn't really possible, and you have to pose him kinda hunched (but that looks cool anyhow) but you don't need articulation when you're a foot taller than any other figure around.

The small Buzz that came with the ship I mentioned is in-progress with his own head transplant (from a smaller egg) but he will require some glue and I'm presently out.

I finally found a place for them and a few other things from my collection with Five and Lila. 🍓🧡 Well I would imagine it's a bit different, but finding space for all my collections is a bit complicated sometimes. I'd need an inflatable room.

Now I'm waiting for a new stand for Lila and then it will be perfect...
