Father in heaven, we love and revere you. We recognize that you have the power and authority over all of heaven and earth. You formed the seas, you set the sun in its place, and you gave us life. Please forgive us when we think we have control and help us to surrender that illusion to you. We pray this all in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Daily Devotional
In the midst of life's trials and tribulations, we often seek solace and strength. Isaiah reminds us that our peace comes from God. This verse speaks of the gifts God provide us, particularly peace and security. It emphasizes that true inner peace is not found in our circumstances but rather in the acknowledgment of God's sovereignty.
When we meditate on God's goodness and faithfulness, we create a space for His peace to dwell in our hearts. This peace surpasses all understanding and guards our hearts and minds, even when the world around us is chaotic. As believers, we are called to cultivate a grateful heart, recognizing the daily blessings that flow from our Creator. Gratitude shifts our focus from what we lack to what we have, allowing us to experience deeper joy and contentment.
In practicing meditation on God's Word, we not only find inner peace but also build a resilient spirit that can withstand life's storms. We can reflect on God's past provisions, reminding ourselves of His faithfulness, which fuels our trust in Him for the future.
As you consider these truths, take a moment to reflect on your own life. Are there areas where you struggle to experience God's peace? What can you do to cultivate a more grateful heart? What can you do to cultivate a more grateful heart? Perhaps setting aside time each day to meditate on scripture or writing a gratitude journal could help you focus on God's blessings.
Let today be a day of intentional peace and gratitude, allowing God's gifts to fill your life with joy and strength. How will you invite God's peace into your daily routine this week?
ISAIAH 26:12 "LORD, You will establish peace for us, for You have also done all our works in us."

“📖✨ Living by Faith: The Message of Romans 1:17 🙏💖 Romans 1:17 reveals a foundational truth, "For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: ‘The righteous will live by faith.’" This verse calls us to embrace a life of faith, understanding that our righteousness comes not from our deeds, but from our belief in God's promises. How has living by faith shaped your daily life and spiritual journey? Share your experiences of how faith has guided you and the transformations it has brought about.”

Merciful Father, the depth of your unconditional and unceasing love is beyond my understanding; but today I respond to that love. As your love and your spirit lives within me . May my thoughts words and deeds reflect you at all times and in every place. May my soul meet you at a place of humility. May I draw closer to you every day. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Holy Monday - Jesus Cleanses the Temple
Throughout Holy Week, we will journey alongside Jesus as He guides us toward the Cross, deepening our faith and understanding of His mission.
According to the Gospel of Mark, following His triumphant entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, Jesus returned to the Temple on Monday and instigated a significant disruption:
“On reaching Jerusalem, Jesus entered the temple courts and began driving out those who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves, and would not allow anyone to carry merchandise through the temple courts. And as he taught them, he said, Is it not written: 'My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations'? But you have made it a den of robbers.” (Mark 11:15-17).
So what exactly was Jesus doing in this moment? Theologians Marcus Borg and Dominic Crossan assert that He was staging a powerful prophetic teaching moment, reminiscent of the prophet Jeremiah, who had confronted worshippers at the Temple.
The Temple system had devolved into corruption. The overly religious individuals of Jesus' time had begun to idolize the institution rather than worship the God who established it.
They had started to prioritize rituals, systems, and a rigid adherence to rules over the true essence of their faith, expressing love for God through acts of justice, mercy, and compassion toward the "least" in their society.
This dangerous trajectory had been warned against by Hebrew prophets centuries earlier, such as Amos and Hosea, who delivered God's message:
“I hate, I despise your solemn festivals and take no delight in your solemn assemblies….” (Amos 5:21-23). “I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.” (Hosea 6:6).
C.S. Lewis noted that this issue continues to affect the Christian church in our age. He asserted that when Christians begin to blur the lines between God and the systems, rules, and regulations of their faith, they may come to view the Christian life as a series of transactions, believing:
“...as the only thing [God] wants so that their punctual performance will satisfy Him without obedience to His demands for mercy.”
As we reflect on Jesus' actions in the Temple today, let us be called to faithfulness in our own understanding of faith.
It is all too common for Christians to perceive their involvement in the Church as a means to earn God's love. In this pursuit, we can easily lose sight of our true calling to be a light in the world.
May we strive to follow Jesus daily, focusing less on religious practices and more on our relationship with Him, who, in the words of the Apostle Paul, “loved the Church and gave himself for it.”
As we embark on this holy journey, may the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ accompany you now and always. Amen.

There’s something about the word glorious that stirs the soul, isn’t there? It’s weighty. Wondrous. But if I’m honest, I used to think God’s glory only showed up in the beautiful parts of life—the answered prayers, the sunrises, the breakthroughs.
Then I looked again at the story of the Exodus.
What should have taken the Israelites eleven days (Deuteronomy 1:2) turned into forty years. Not because God lost track, but because He was preparing them. He was developing obedience, trust, and dependence. That detour? It was drenched in glory.
Every morning of manna. Every night under the pillar of fire. He was there. Teaching them that His glory is not just found in the deliverance, but in the discipline. Not just in the promise, but in the process.
Sometimes the most glorious thing God can do is hold us in the wilderness long enough to strip away what keeps us from trusting Him.
Paul said, “And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.” 2 Corinthians 3:18
And yes, it’s hard. But this journey? It’s making us new.
Through Jesus, our greater Deliverer, we’re being transformed too: “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” 2 Corinthians 5:17
And one day, “the city has no need of sun or moon… for the glory of God illuminates the city.” Revelation 21:23
What (or who) is more glorious than that?

Jesus, I can’t wait for the day to meet you face to face. No longer will I be in this temporary body, but living in eternity with you. I don’t fully know or understand what that will look like, but my soul yearns for it. My heart aches for the day when I can worship you and the Father in the purity of heaven. I pray this all in your mighty, holy, and eternal name. Amen.

Daily Devotional
In a world filled with chaos and uncertainty, the promise of peace ais a profound gift. Isaiah reminds us that God offers perfect peace to those whose minds are steadfast, anchored in faith. This peace is not merely an absence of trouble but a deep-seated tranquility that comes from trusting in God's sovereignty. When we face anxiety, we often forget that God is in control. He knows our struggles and cares for our well-being.
Faith is the key that unlocks this peace. It allows us to shift our focus from our fears to the faithfulness of God. Just as a ship is steadied by its anchor in a storm, our hearts can find calmness in God's promises. When we hold on to our faith, even when challenges arise, we experience a peace that transcends our understanding. It's a peace that assures us everything will be alright, even if we can't see the way forward.
Consider this:
What areas of your life currently cause you anxiety?
Are there specific worries that keep you up at night?
Bring these before God in prayer. Ask Him to help you shift your focus from the worries to His promises. Take time to meditate on His faithfulness, remembering the times He has provided for you in the past.
As you do this, reflect on how trust in God might transform your perspective. What steps can you take today to cultivate a mind that is steadfast in faith? What actions will you take to strengthen your connection with God, allowing His peace to fill your heart and mind?
