every day at work lately is just locking in as deep as i possibly can. kinda gave the soft promise that i will be wrapping things up on this site in july, at least insofar as getting to meaningful testing goes.
like im already sorta entering the refining phase since from here it's kinda just adding more and more and more connective tissue to everything.
but there is a lot of connective tissue. so just gotta grind grind grind grind grind at it
i would love to be able to get my coworkers in on doing more bits and pieces but i just dont think there's a way to get them the necessary context?
#like basically a really huge one that ive been putting off#is making sure we can basically arbitrarily download anything without doing much hands on#i think this might be less cooperative than i want but i did do a PoC early on so i do have options#and there's the various pieces of data that need to get snapshots at regular intervals#and ofc reused in places where there was once 'live' data#and then the few dozen reports still not done#the dashboard#the actions on save#testing the emails (thankfully ive added many of them just no testing)#and i would really really like to get in the capability to edit forms and tables from the admin area#but i think that might need to wait post-launch#i have the framework set up so that it WILL work without having to change the forms/tables#just going to be building on top#oh and the fucking PROXYING#truly think that one is going to get rough#like i may need to roll my own means of proxying (again)#HOWEVER!!!! again i think ive set things up in a way that don't make this impossible. i got plans and ideas and options
