Death is inescapable, especially if the Legion editor has decided that your powers are lame. I mean yeah, you could be married and then retired if you had the ability to bounce or turn into two people, but one of the fastest ways out of the book is death.

Well, maybe it will be okay. Just because Validus is going to attack doesn't mean anybody has to die. Heck, has Validus ever killed anybody?

Besides, Tharok is in prison. It's not like the Legion keeps components of Tharok's brain on display in Legion HQ. Oh wait, that's bad. And why is Invisible Kid standing in front of the statue of the dead Legionnaire Ferro Lad? Foreshadowing? Oh dear. But certainly they wouldn't kill Invisible Kid now that he has a perfectly nice and normal relationship with this girl Myla.

Maybe I spoke too soon. She's deathly pale, and lives in some spooky, misty region. But Lyle seems happy, so what could possibly go wrong?

I'll admit that this doesn't look good. But Tharok's brain components had spontaneously reassembled, and were commanding Validus to... well, it isn't exactly clear. Was he supposed to attack the Legion, or rescue the brain components from their captivity, or something else? I guess it doesn't matter as long as Lyle destroys the components, and survives the attack.

Dang, another pointless, not very tragic comics death. But at least the writers don't have to try to figure out what to do with the kid who disappears. But what to do with such a cheap death. Maybe tack on some poignant romantic angle. Hmmmn, he just met Myla so it's not like she's going to do a whole lot of mourning.

What the hell? Myla was a ghost girl, and Invisible Kid was somehow visiting her in the ghost dimension. So it's all okay really. Maybe they'll get ghost married, and have some ghost babies. It's not like this ghost girl ending isn't ripe for a strange plot twist at a much later date.

I gotta say, between the casting of RDJ as Dr. Doom, the rumors of Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson returning as Captain Hydra and Madame Hydra respectively, and Bob’s/The Sentry’s comics-canon ability to resurrect the dead the MCU is veering dangerously close to Death Is Cheap territory.

How we feeling about the realization I just had that Matt is probably drinking red wine in his apartment even though he prefers cheap beer because the smell of cheap beer is likely now tied irrevocably to his memory of Foggy's death?

A scent now mingled forever in his mind with the taste of sour fear, of death in the air.

I don't think Mitsuba will ever get a yorishiro. Or at least, I would personally prefer if Mitsuba never got one.

Every yorishiro so far have been related to the death of a loved one. An eternal grief.

If Mitsuba gets a yorishiro it won't be because of a sweet memory like the penguin keychain he got at the aquarium, it would be the an object that embodies his failures or his desperation, a regret that would haunt him: An obcession. A curse.

Kou needs to die for Mitsuba to get a yorishiro and twist all his good memories into a deep regret that will last decades and decades.

i am full of a lot of thoughts about them in lethal company. so many. like pomni being a designated ship bitch bc not only is she good at it but they cant trust anyone else on comms. zooble dipping out all the time via death just to avoid having to do anything ever. and also being stolen by the lootbugs and baboon hawks CONSTANTLY. they gang up on jax to lead him to snare fleas just to shut him up, otherwise he shouts and attracts the eyeless dogs. god.

Hi everyone,

For those of you who don't know, my darling cat Sage was diagnosed with lymphoma last week, by Sunday he couldn't walk by himself and wasn't eating and so we made the decision to have him put to sleep. He passed peacefully at home in my arms, and is now buried with his sister who died last November. I miss them both, and his absence is really hard to get used to.

I was already off work with my mental health so not getting full pay, and due to the time it took us to work out what was wrong with him, the diagnostic tests, medication, and ultimately having him put to sleep I've spent just over £1200 in vets fees. Because of his age and pre-existing illnesses his insurance won't cover it, and while I'm doing my best to negotiate with them I don't think I'm going to get anything out of it.

Regardless of how you feel about the action, the assassinations of Shinzo Abe and Brian Thompson have got to be some of the most materially effective assassinations in recent memory. Shit changed almost immediately in response.

Usually, changing societal problems isn't so simple, and one has to dismantle those issues piece by piece, over a long period of time.

But sometimes, one influential person's murder makes all the other people in the same position scared and so they start immediately trying to fix their bullshit so they don't face the same fate.
