After storming the company’s headquarters and engaging in a series of battles for the ages, Cloud and his companions leave Midgar behind and set out for the wider world. Once in the grasslands, they hop aboard chocobos and embark on a journey with an unknown destination.

Meanwhile, Zack—beaten and battered from his fight against an army of troopers—hobbles across the wastelands into Midgar with a mako-poisoned Cloud on his shoulder. Though he has managed to escape death for now, the ominous rift in the sky gives him little reason to rejoice.

That is hardly the only threat facing the world, however. The Shinra Resistance Committee, backed by Wutai’s interim government, declares war on the company; figures shrouded in black robes carry with them the corpse of Jenova, a veritable calamity from another world; and the Weapons—fierce and monstrous guardians of the planet—have recently awakened.

She strings together swift combos while utilizing a variety of martial art techniques. Her ATB fills quickly, allowing for the use of multiple abilities in rapid succession. She also boasts several skills that deal more damage to airborne or staggered foes.

Aerith Gainsborough (voiced by Briana White in English, Maaya Sakamoto in Japanese)

“Just look at it all… A living, breathing planet. Even after everything we’ve done to it, it’s still going strong.”

A flower seller who lives in the Sector 5 undercity and the last remaining descendant of the Cetra, a people known for communing with the planet. Shinra takes her prisoner in their efforts to reach the Cetra’s foretold “promised land,” but Cloud and company come to her rescue. She escapes Midgar and embarks on a journey into the outside world of which she has long dreamed.

Utilizing the power of magic, she casts spells from a safe distance and launches attacks that home in on her foes. She can also conjure beneficial wards and warp between them, as well as restore the party’s HP with her limit break.

Red XIII (voiced by Max Mittelman in English, Kappei Yamaguchi in Japanese)

“I may be clad in fur…but that doesn’t mean I’ll purr.”

Red XIII is a beast with a flaming tail, crimson fur, deadly claws, and the ability to speak. Cloud and company help him escape Professor Hojo’s clutches, and he decides to join them on their journey. His species is known for their long life spans, and he is no exception. As this Cosmo Canyon native is the eldest member of the party, he offers its members words of wisdom from time to time.

He sets upon foes with an unrelenting assault, laying into them with a beastly ferocity. Guarding against incoming attacks will feed his Vengeance gauge. Once it is full, he can unleash his inner beast, but sufficient skill is required to maximize its potential.

Yuffie Kisaragi (voiced by Suzie Yeung in English, Yumi Kakazu in Japanese)

“If I win, you get the honor of serving yours truly!”

A member of Wutai’s elite corps of ninja operatives, Yuffie infiltrates Midgar on a mission to steal the “ultimate materia” from Shinra. Her plan ends in disaster, as she fails to claim the materia and loses her partner Sonon in the struggle. Just as working alone begins to take its toll on her, however, Cloud’s group comes into the picture.

Using her throwing star and ninja skills, she excels at both long- and close-range combat. Elemental ninjutsu allows her to exploit enemies’ weaknesses without relying on spells. She also keeps opponents on their toes with a variety of aerial attacks and tricky techniques.

Cait Sith (voiced by Paul Tinto in English, Hideo Ishikawa in Japanese)

“Alright, everyone! By popular request: a fortune or two to steer you true!”

A wisecracking, feline-shaped robot often seen poised atop his big moogle pal. One of the Gold Saucer’s most popular mascots, he is well loved for his fortune telling—a service he also offers to Cloud and friends. His adorable appearance also belies access to a surprising amount of insider intel on Shinra.

Sephiroth (voiced by Tyler Hoechlin in English, Toshiyuki Morikawa in Japanese)

“Don’t be afraid. It’s not death—it’s a homecoming.”

A former SOLDIER: 1st class of legendary renown, he is said to have died in the line of duty in Nibelheim five years ago. This is proven untrue when he appears at the Shinra Building and absconds with a research specimen known as “Jenova.” He now toys with Cloud at every opportunity, seeking to change the course of destiny and rule the planet.

Zack Fair (voiced by Caleb Piece in English, Kenichi Suzumura in Japanese)

“I dunno—hopes? Dreams, maybe? Something like that! So long as we’ve got those—and hold on tight and never let go.”

Zack may have worked with Sephiroth as a SOLDIER: 1st class, but he trained under a different operator, and it is from this man that he both learned to take pride in his work and received his iconic buster sword. After a grueling battle in which he overcomes the odds and cheats death, Zack returns to Midgar—where he hopes to see his love Aerith—with a mako-poisoned Cloud in tow.

new idea for a TADC OC that came to me in a dream (sorta)

GeMini (pronounced "gem-mini")

Bio:

Gem (the cat on the left) and Mini (the dog on the right) are twin siblings, and were two separate people before they entered the Amazing Digital Circus.

One day, they discovered the headset. Gem was the one to hesitantly try it on. When it started glitching out, Mini tried to grab the headset off him, but it was too late. They were both simultaneously transported into the Digital Circus, and spawned into one avatar together. Now they both must co-inhabit one body for all eternity. (or until they somehow manage to escape, if they ever do...)

Gem and Mini share a very close bond, even before becoming one entity. Despite this bond, they have very different personalities. They are both neurodivergent, but Mini is more outgoing and tends to "mask" more, where as Gem is timid and prone to breakdowns and moments of nonverbalism. In Gem's moments of distress, Mini is usually the one there to advocate for him and try to help him calm down.

They both have a penchant for arts and technology, but Gem is more fond of reading books and practical computers/programming, where as Mini is more fond of visual arts and playing/creating video games. Despite their tech and programming knowhow, the Digital Circus remains an absolute enigma to them, and they're unable to decipher the strange and unique programming it uses.

Being literally inseparable now, they sometimes struggle with the fact that neither one of them can truly have alone time. They're able to pick up on each other's thoughts and this sometimes becomes overwhelming. Despite this, they continue to love and care for each other as they always have.

They have two separate voices, one belonging to Gem, and the other belonging to Mini. They usually both take turns speaking and taking the "front seat" when it comes to actions.

Sometimes their consciousnesses become perfectly at one, at which point both their voices speak at the same time. During these moments they cease to be "Gem and Mini" and truly become "GeMini."

I played with the State of Illinois and the province of Queensland (Australia) to learn about exports from those areas, and then decided I needed to be more disciplined to learn anything useful.

Worldbuilding:

Emmet got shrunk on his way to Hisui, due to the Rift's distorted power affecting him on the way out; he lands on Prelude Beach, drowning in his Depot Agent uniform now that he is teeny tiny

Arceus, panicking a little bit, communicates more directly with Emmet, urging him along on his mission

Emmet's memories are messed up, and his conduct is an odd combination of a child and an adult. By which I mean he can be disconcertingly clever and mature, but also the poutiest little guy with a habit of crying

Young age plus being overwhelmed plus stress equals one mute boi; this does not change his penchant for causing Problems

Jubilife is a lot more lenient with him because of how young he is, but Laventon, Cyllene, and Kamado suspect that he isn't supposed to be like this due to how he was found

Emmet is in an awkward position as far as finding living conditions go, being too odd for most parents to want to take in but also much too young to live on his own

Akari and Rei are assigned babysitters. Let the stressing and development of gray hairs commence

Emmet is Perfectly Behaved and causes no Problems at all, of course, why would he? Why would he?

A new OC! Meet Blackshock!

You know what? It took me SEVERAL MONTHS to finish the disign. It was so fkg difficult (I'm not used to draw robots) that I almost gave up on the idea. I'm pretty sure that I will never do the same oc's card in digital, so I will publish the sketch (with finished disign though). I didn't add colors cus there's almost everything black except for the faceplate, the optics and some frame details. All thanks to mtmte and lost light comics, I finally got enough inspiration.

Some additions to page:

Blackshock is brutal and ruthless decepticon, but still has sorta pride. She isn't like the most of her collegues, she doesn't kill just for fun. Nothing personal, just the orders

Blackshock transforms into the small cybertronian jet

She upgraded her initial frame and got more armour to appear atleast a bit bigger and ofc for defence

She uses metal whip (keeped under chestplates, near to Spark Chamber) and machine gun (attached between wings in bipedal mode) as weapons, but still can fight with bare servos

Another weapon and userful tool are connecting cables. Blackshock uses them to get the information from the opponent (like mnemosurgeons, but less delicately and with more dangerously for other's processor) or any device. They can be keeped completely in her helm, but she preferes others to see it and to look more threatening. In fact outside the helmet the wires can have the length of her hight

Also has rockets in her pedes, but they can be used only in jet-mode just to fly

Her decepticon insigna is on her shoulder plate

To the lore

Now Blackshock is decepticon's executor, walking poligraph and scout. Initially was sent to DJD, but after some months demanded Megatron to get her back to the base. Usually she executed captured autobots, traitors and just examined the suspicious collegues. And every session was under Megatron's supervision. Blackshock took and reported about ordes only from and to Megatron. Sorta personal watchdog, and he had the reason to keep an eye (optic) on her.

She doesn't remember (Megatron does though), in past she worked in public security sphere (kinda police officer) with her twin-sister and Conjunx Endura. But the office was under attack, everyone had died there, except for Monochrome. She was transported to the Institute (correct if i'm wrong, I read the comic in another language🙏🏻) and supposed to become another bot, more suitable for Senate (and supposed to have a fate like Senator Shockwave). But during exctraction of memory block she suddenly woke up and had to fight for her dear life to escape. After panic had stopped, Monochrome found out the lack of any memory, but she was spotted by bunch of decepticons and presented to Megatron (who actually recalled her and her abilities).

So, thats why she became a decepticon and changed her name. Now she uses her cables to find any piece of information about past-self cus Senate had deleted every piece of documents about her existence. She rememberes her experience in Institute, so is affraid now of anyone who can have an access to her helmet and memories (and covers this fear by agression). Also due to processor damage Blackshock is kinda mentally sick, so she has panick attacks and mental breakdowns and can't indifference her own emotions from time to time, which makes her more unpredictable for teammates and opponents. But mostly she is playful, flirty and threatening at the same time, likes to take risks and test opponent's patience and will to live. Also finds cute that she can be underestimated by others cus she still has small frame and hight.

Hope it wasn't too long, I tried to write all this shortly, "me" and "shortly" aren't in the same universe, so... Well, yeah, longposts.

Description:

Formids are a genus of centauric hexapods and were the first alien sophonts encountered by Terrans.

They posses an endoskeleton primarily consisting of sodium chloride, with a pair of vertebrae-like structures each containing a notochord. Each limb girdle is made up of three bones holding the first segment of the limb and attached to the twin spines. Beneath each girdle is a trio of large plates derived from osteoderms, serving as both protection for the organs and structural support. Each limb is made up of four segments, with a ball and socket joint at the base of a single bones followed by two pairs of parallel bones which in turn connect to three wrist bones. Four digits attach to the wrist, with 3 internal bones, four external bones and a claw in each finger. The hands represent the more basal zygodactyl structure of their ancestors, where as the feet have become digitigrade to better support movement on the ground.

The skull is made up of a solid block containing the brain to which 18 jaws are attached. In the digestive system, two ancestral pairs have fused into the dorsal and ventral primary jaws, two pairs evolved into the masticatory jaws used to help break up food and push it down the throat and a pair into molar jaws used to crush and grind food. Food then passes into a stomach within the rib cage of the second limb girdle before passing into an intestine-like absorption structure. The respiratory system is made up of their iconic through-lung with an anterior and posterior air intake and a hind air vent. Taking in air through a nostril on the outside of the dorsal primary jaw it then flows into the olfactory chamber containing the olfactory jaw before being drawn past the anterior valve jaw into the cephalic lung by the diaphragm jaw. It is then pumped primary anterior lung before either being expelled from the posterior air intake through a voice-box like structure or transferred to the secondary anterior lung, where it is drawn into the posterior lung before being expelled from the respiratory vent. The other jaws of the skull are made up by the two pair of eyes, two pairs of eyelids, a pair of structures similar to the mammalian inner ear, a pair of antennae, two pairs of stridulatory jaws and a pair of tridactyl cephalic limbs, with each digit being derived from an ancestral tooth.

Formids have two circulatory systems. The primary circulatory system is pumped by a single heart in the rib cage of the first limb girdle and transports oxygen carrying blood cells, most immune cells, inorganic ions and hormones dissolved in water. The secondary circulatory system is pumped by a trio of hearts in the rib cage of the third limb girdle and transports simple sugars, amino acids, lipids and immune cells dissolved in water.

Formids also posses a series of kidney-like structures in the rib cage of the third limb girdle closely resembling the malpighian tubules of Terran invertabrates whilst a pair of liver-like manufactory organs between the second and third limb girdles.

They are covered in a thin layer of translucent, mildly iridescent keratinous structures analogous to mammalian fur and derived from ancestral osteoderms, allowing the colour of the skin to be seen underneath. This was key in ancestral collumacephala to both allow them to retain heat but also for their chromatophores to be visible through their integument. In formids and their relatives many of these chromatophores have been lost alongside much of their UV vision in a burrowing ancestor, in addition the development of iridescence common in fossorial species. In modern formids functional chromatophores remain solely on the skull where they are used to convey emotions, although the introduction of ink into the vestigial chromatophores of the body has been and continues to be used as a for, of self expression through fluid tattoos, however it is a very delicate process and the tattoos fade as the cells die. Most emphasised in species from the southern continent but common to all formids is the development of a winter coat should below average temperatures be encountered for a long enough period, being shed should the temperatures warm.

Like a majority of cetocnidarians formids are hermaphrodites. Typically a single infant is born from each parent, typically in early spring, clinging to the back where it feeds on a specialised organ developed from the ancestral secondary circulatory system. Born blind and furless, they feed from this organ for roughly half a year before developing fur and being weaned, however they still cling to their parents fur. After another half year of their eyes have opened fully and they under grow a rapid stage of development, being fully capable runners two months, however their brains are still far below adult capacity and are highly instinctual. After another year they undergo a second growth spurt where they rapidly gain cognitive abilities equivalent to a human child. Typical formids are most often considered mature in the modern day by sixteen years old and independent from parents at around twenty, however the tundra species are often a year or two behind their northern relatives and the two giant species may not be considered mature until their early twenties. Despite their neotenic features, Xenosapiens insula has a similar rate of development to its mainland relatives.

Ancestrally formids typically lived in clans made up of immediate family, members from neighbouring clans and wandering individuals. Despite the sedentary nature of many of these communities (the most major exclusion being two tundra species and many clans from the two plains species), these wanderers maintained connections between clans and allowed the spread of genetics and ideas, hence how almost all modern species of Xenosapiens can still produce fertile offspring, although this comparative isolation and long timespan has lead to significantly greater variation than amongst Homo.

Despite having entered space shortly before humanity, Xenosapiens is a much older clade than genus Homo, with some estimates placing their common ancestor as far back as six million years ago, with some modern species existing as far back as two million years ago. For the majority of their history, formids have been isolated to the twin southern continents and some surrounding islands, though a small population of appears to have reached the westernmost island of the shattered continent after their ships got caught in the westerly current upon which they survived for a minimum of several hundred years before seemingly going locally extinct, although reports of shipwrecked sailors and wild men joining later colonies have been thought be some to represent the last of this distinct culture. Throughout their history formids have used a variety of complex tools constructed from wood, stone and bones, independently domesticating a variety of fauna and flora and living as nomads or agricultural communities as slowly trades of raw materials and manufactured goods developed across the continent, only becoming global a short few hundred years before the first formids flung themselves into the stars to land upon their twin moons.

The first sophonts the formids encountered were the Terrans, when two scientific missions to study an unusual solar system encountered each other. Following this formids joined the Terrans (and unknowingly a number of other sophont species) in the Great War, the conclusion of which lead to the formation of the USS (Union of Sophont Species).

(Since this is a single-muse blog, I'm going to include muses I've played on other blogs. I'm not going to include every muse I've ever written though because 1. it already feels funny talking about muses that 99% of my followers have never seen me write, and 2. some of them were very short-lived. So I'm only including the ones that I've written most or were most significant, plus my newest one that I haven't written yet, since they've been on my mind a lot lately.)

1) Rank your softest Muse and your toughest Muse. (Personality-wise) - Strictly personality-wise, softest to toughest: Ted Logan (Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure), Max Caulfield (Life is Strange), Izaya Orihara (Durarara!!), Amaimon (Blue Exorcist), Satoru Gojo (Jujutsu Kaisen), Negan, Levi Ackerman (Attack on Titan.) This is kind of funny though because aside from Ted and Max, none of these characters can really be considered "soft."

2) Which Muse would blow through $1000 quickly? - Gojo. But he's also rich rich, so $1000 is nothing to him. He canonically owns shirts that cost more than that. Aside from him, I think if you gave Ted $1000 he could easily blow it all on music gear and albums pretty quickly lol.

3) Do any of them have nicknames? Is there a meaning behind them? - Negan has been called "Neegs" by a few, but not many can get away with that. "Ted" is short for Theodore, and "Max" is short for Maxine (never call Max by her full name, she hates it.)

4) Are any of them up-to-speed on the latest trends? Anyone more old school? - Ted, Gojo, and Max are most likely to be up-to-speed on trends, but Max appreciates the old school stuff (she prefers analog cameras over digital for her photography, for instance.) Levi and Negan are more old school, though Negan might attempt to learn trends to seem cool to his students/the kids (it rarely works.)

5) Who has the best relationship with their siblings? - Three of them have siblings: Ted, Izaya, and Amaimon. Ted and his little brother probably have the best relationship, at least as kids, though he deals with insecurity and envy as their dad clearly favors his brother. Izaya has two sisters who are twins and about ten years his junior. Their parents were abroad for work so much that he basically raised them, but his bad influence played part in them turning out eccentric. Their relationship is complicated and a bit love/hate. Amaimon has six brothers and a sister. They are all demons (literally, they are children of Satan lol.) He's only seen interacting with one which I interpret him to have a neutral to positive relationship with. I don't see him having a close relationship with any of the others. But I also haven't read or watched the series in years, so I have no idea if more has been revealed.

6) Karaoke night! Who is likely to grab the mic first and bust out a tune? - Ted. Max will join him with some encouragement. Negan if he's had a few drinks.

7) Who is least likely to enter a beauty pageant/model? - Levi (he could actually probably do well as a model, but suggest this and he'll vehemently deny it.) Also Amaimon because he doesn't spend much time on Earth and probably doesn't even know what a beauty pageant is.

8) If your Muses visited a haunted house where actors scare you, who would panic and who would be unfazed? - Ted and Max would be panicking (but they're having a blast.) Levi and Amaimon are unfazed.

9) Are any of your Muses particular about taking certain modes of transportation? - Not really. Max does get nervous about airplanes and Izaya prefers to walk or take a taxi/public transport. Gojo doesn't drive and either takes the train/subway, has his assistant drive him, or teleports/warps short distances since he can do that lol.

10) Share a little-known fact about any Muse. - So I can't really think of anything, but I have twd verses for most of my muses that I never got to use/talk about so I'mma ramble on about little things about them here. Ted - and Bill - were following a band on tour that summer, and were at a music venue in the Atlanta area when the outbreak hit. Bill's dad died saving them the first day, and they and Missy go on to survive traveling around in their RV for a while. Max found an old vintage photography store shortly after the outbreak and took as many packs of polaroid film as she could realistically carry. She continues taking photos, not just to document the new world but to also capture small moments of beauty and happiness within her group. Gojo acts nonchalant about the apocalypse until he loses his best friend to a walker bite, after which he essentially shuts down and locks himself in a room with the (restrained) walker for days, refusing to let anyone in. He even attempts to remove its jaw/hands to keep it with him (kind of like Michonne did), and it wasn't until after that he finally killed it. He puts on a big smile and acts fine, but the unresolved anger and grief come out in spades whenever he goes up against walkers. Izaya and his sisters are in an airport preparing to fly back to Japan when the outbreak hits, and get stranded in the Virginia/DC area. A group takes them in out of pity, despite Izaya giving them the creeps. But when his sisters are eaten in a large walker attack, the group abandons him, and he's presumed dead. Months later, cue The Saviors showing up with Izaya at Negan's side as one of his lieutenants. Surprise! Levi meets up with his uncle, the only family he has, when the outbreak happens. It doesn't take long for them to start butting heads morally - his uncle is much quicker to warm up to the idea of stealing and killing. But they stick together until they're separated while fighting a horde, and Levi's been on his own ever since, unsure if he's alive. He's eventually taken in by Alexandria, but has a hard time adjusting. I don't have anything set for Amaimon, but he's naturally violent and off-putting and very likely ends up with the Whisperers or becomes a cannibal or something lol.

Disney's “Tron: Ares” To Begin Filming

After more than 40 years since the original film was released and after several cancellations, the most notable being in 2015, where Garrett Hedlund and Olivia Wilde would have returned as Sam Flynn and Quorra respectively, Tron 3, which we already know will be Tron: Ares, is going from strength to strength and is doing so driven by its director, Joachim Rønning, who was also in charge of Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge as well as Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. Its filming, as Collider has progressed, is will resume after the Christmas holidays. Who will we see in Tron: Ares? Although the details of the plot are still somewhat vague, we do know that it will revolve around artificial intelligence and what it means and is required to be human, recovering the words of the scriptwriter himself on his Instagram account in the publication where he announced that production was taking a break due to strikes. The Tron: Ares script is by Jesse Wigutow and is considered the sequel to Tron: Legacy, which was directed by Top Gun: Maverick‘s Joe Kosinski. We also already know that Jared Leto will lead a cast where we can also enjoy the performances of Evan Peters (Kick-Ass), Jodie Turner-Smith (No Remorse) and Greta Lee (Past Lives), who will play a video game designer and president of a technology company. Likewise, Cameron Monaghan, known for his role as Ian Gallagher in the comedy-drama Shameless and his double role as the twins Jerome and Jeremiah Valeska in the series Gotham, has also recently joined the cast, but who many of you will know for being the voice and image by Cal Kestis in several of the later Star Wars games. What is Tron about? The Tron saga is a science fiction franchise that explores the interaction between the real world and a digital universe.
