I would love to see every school of magic have a different type of healing spell!

Of course, it would be easier to decide what healing was of there was any true agreement on what hit points are. Most everyone plays them as indications of damage, but then somebody gotta be pedantic and pull out the flavor text that says they indicate all sorts of factors and a hit doesn't mean a cut, blah blah... Except mechanics like poison and damage reduction have the underlying premise that hit point loss does equal physical damage.

Game is a hilarious mess.

Last session Ash got to lead a cavalry charge against a bunch of ghouls, which means I got the rare chance to use their paladin mount in context.

Ignore the fact that they ride a flame-antlered stag into battle. They're not an evil character pinky promise!
