Save the Grishaverse Campaign Overview

Hello! By now you have probably seen our posts floating around - but what exactly is going on? What's the 'Save Shadow and Bone' campaign, and how can I help?

Well ask no more - here is the master post to answer those questions!

Firstly, let's talk about the what. If you didn't know, the Netflix original Shadow and Bone was announced to have been cancelled after two seasons, followed by another announcement that the proposed Six of Crows Spinoff would be scrapped as well. The thing is, Netflix had paid for the scripts to be drafted for the SoC Spinoff already! What's more, it seems mighty suspicious that the showrunner Eric Heisserer was a big part of the recent WGA Strike coordination for Netflix, and all the writers were very vocal about their support of the WGA strike, and only after the strike was over did Netflix announce the cancellation of the Grishaverse related show and spinoff.

Now to be clear, we are not saying that there is any sort of big conspiracy afoot, but boy does it feel like it. The Grishaverse has a huge fan-base, the cast was extremely passionate about continuing their work, and yet the show was cancelled without warning. Allegedly, some of the actors found out through Leigh Bardugo's announcement post - and not from Netflix directly! So, fans got together and decided that no, actually, we weren't going to stand for that.

Thus, the Save Shadow and Bone' campaign was born. But what are we doing exactly? Well, let's discuss!

Firstly, we've been organizing Twitter parties to keep the discussion of the Grishaverse trending! Already we've been trending a majority of the days we've been at it, and this is only the tip of the iceberg. We have so many more fun days planned, so keep an eye out!

We also have a petition! As of writing this, it's exceeded 170,000 signatures and we've been told by the Change.org devs that if it hits 200,000 it will be featured on the home page of the website! It's been growing incredibly fast - keep spreading it around!

We also have a letters to Netflix campaign running with hundreds of letters already prepared to mail directly to Netflix's offices! We even have a tutorial on origami crows provided so we can flood the offices with paper crows! Again, for more information on how to get involved and where exactly to address these letters to, consider joining our discord for concise information.

We've also been organizing Watch Parties to keep the show trending on Netflix's end, as this is what we've confirmed they'll be paying attention to. These 'watch parties' are encouraged to be fun events, whether they become irl parties for friends or online liveblogging/livetweeting events. The goal of this is to keep the show relevant to Netflix's audiences!

We've been reaching out to news outlets and have made contacts with several magazines already, and the world is watching. This is not just about our favorite show being canceled anymore - the way intellectual properties have been treated by these mega corporations has gotten wildly out of hand, and we want to show that audiences are tired of this cutthroat attitude to media onscreen.

it's been on the shelf for a while, but i have another SPOP universe titled "She-Ra: The New Era" that's set approximately 150 years in the future after the war, with a new She-Ra named Seren, Adora's granddaughter and 2nd descendant.

i will admit, "The New Era" follows the same basic plotline of the original story ( OG show and reboot ), where invaders take over Etheria and bring corruption and domination to the homeland, but i want to handle it and make it my own in execution.

as to who the invaders are, they don't have anything to do with the Horde and are instead of a species i made myself, but are currently unnamed ( i'm looking through demon lore and whatnot for inspiration on name and lore ), so they're simply called 'invaders' for right now.

the plotline . . .

"The New Era" follows Seren through the path of redefining She-Ra's legacy and making a name for herself, fighting evil, discovering secrets of the past, and mending bridges long broken.

inspired by ATLA and LOK, especially in their parallel theming, Arcane, The Dragon Prince, and several other media relating to war, coming of age, past vs. present, etc.

the main protagonists . . .

Serenity ( Seren ) - Adora's Granddaughter, 2nd Descendant, She-Ra, 18 years old ( beginning ), She // He ( Trans Bigender ).

she is very matter-of-fact, having a tendency to come off as blunt and brusque to strangers, often unintentionally. but when people come to understand her, Seren shows she is compassionate, friendly, and protective for the innocent.

raised in a community that trained and prepared her for any future hardships, Seren is a highly-skilled fighter, seen as a prodigy of her time for how quickly she adapted to and developed her abilities, and is knowledgeable in a variety of weapons and magic. a lot of people tend not to think about it, but she is, in fact, a bookworm.

forever haunted by the past, Amlok strives to be better than his predecessor and remain kind, even in the face of those who heavily mistreat and abuse him. because of this, he's considered foolish and pathetic by many, even his people.

he doesn't know how to fight, at all, typically relying on words, taking the hits, or running away when in confrontations, but Amlok is determined and hardly knows when to quit, which helped him with finding his own ways to apply spells ( due to being a Horde clone // experiment, he cannot naturally have magic ).

Best Friend - Khaspian ( Prince of Salineas )

they're a handful, to put it bluntly. with only one friend ( Amlok ), Khaspian drives most people away due to their patronizing attitude and constant need to be the best. but, despite the rumors, they did not form a connection with Amlok out of pity or other ambiguous reasons.

beneath all of their bravado of superiority is someone who is aimless in life and doesn't know how to be more than their title. Khaspian has no hobbies ( that they know of ) and has their life entirely centered around being future King and trying to gain magical ability, which is a very sore spot for them. needless to say, they're not a people person.

Lunar - Glimmer's Daughter, Princess of Brightmoon, 18 years old, She // They ( Non-Binary )

adventurous, bright-eyed, and keen, Lunar desires exploring Etheria and beyond over becoming Queen, which puts her at odds with her mother quite often. like Seren, she is a prodigy, particularly in magic, but this leads her to be impulsive, a little insensitive, and seeking independence above all else.

in spite of her confident, daredevil attitude, Lunar is easily spooked and can be seen napping and // or sleeping for hours after her anxieties finally crash down on her. she's rivals with Khaspian, partially because they love to scare her.

the main antagonists are still going through conceptual writing progress ( so are the main protagonists, but less so ), and i'm working on the lore for the invader species, so this project will take time.

important to note! i referenced cultural irl foods, but i'm most confident in referencing African American dishes, as that is half of my ethnicity and soul food is very common. another part of the reason why this project may take a lot of time is because i want to figure out how to incorporate inspirations into my work without potentially offending others or generalizing too many details.

this is a high fantasy story at the end of the day, so i don't want to put too much pressure on myself to represent 100% accurately, but i want everything to feel authentic and inspired, not like throwing the diversity sticker on the cover for views.

unlike "To Be Loved", "The New Era" will take a much longer time to be produced and online, if it even gets to that point, but i will try my best to share the process, including concepts ( writing and art ), character designs, lore, etc.

DsaF 4 ( unofficial ) is most likely gonna be a thing. I already made some edits of Cake Jack and the plushies.

Undecided if i want to add the black eyes and mouth to Maldave, i probably will, but last time i played around with the idea with zero edits, Glitchtrap looked so freaky in the world of a liminal space or stock photo behind him. But ! We shall see.

Watermarks will be removed once i decide on what to do.

As for How I'm gonna make this: i am no game creator, and frankly i do not feel like making another account for the free websites. I also do not have money to hire someone.

So the plan was a tumblr blog game.

Before we had polls, i was gonna have the whole game be private posts, and everyone picks what they wanted to go with, and once people actually played i would release scenes pubically and whatever assets i felt like giving away ( ex: Cake Jack ).

but i may do polls for SOME answers.

You can link private posts to people, as long as tumblr doesn't change this, it should work. Especially if it works for me because i have had issues in the past.

There will be gif-ed moments, and things will have proper trigger warnings. Sadly, this means no Dave voice, but this doesn't mean people cannot dub it. I encourage dubbing with what i call consensual AI ( Dave's voice, Miku etc ) and real people. I do not encourage non consensual AI ( using Markiplier's voice etc ).

I will also try to have music play lists in the pinned post for viewers to choose a song to listen to while playing the game.

As for the kid, I'm thinking each character ( yellow, red, green and blue ) are different so people can experience different routes. Maybe some players aren't comfortable picking a shy and anxious character, or maybe they want to pick a character thats closer to them in gender or pronouns.

While the player won't be able to pick their own name, they should still get the option of something fun.

I don't want to spoil too much here, but the blue option will still be their adoptive ( adult ) Kid.

it won't be perfect, i may be a system but we are still one person, but I'll try my best.

I should say, if Doggo asks me to shut it down or not proceed i will. At most I'll probably just make art. Its not gonna be a paid thing at all so there shouldn't be any trouble?

*Squirrel, Squirrel and Hedeghog* is the official *berriuccino* version of *Squirrel and Hedgehog*. This series is a (insert year over 2024) remaster of the 1977 series, with the latter airing in North Korea.

Purely a fan-made project, this has no commercial intentions, and is just a fan-series based on "dumb" headcanons. The characters are more fleshed out, new characters, new stuff and more. Be warned, as it may have some more absurd scenes and ridiculous traits alligned to certain characters.It'll have most focus on the antagonists, but ocassionally, the protagonists will have a time to shine, too.

Unlike the original, the series will be fully in English, but it'll also have internation dubs, as well. Anything potentially violating the law of certain countries shall be censored.

Endless Conflict: Planet Card

The most important aspect of Endless Conflict, the planets where the “conflict” is happening. Each one is either a slightly different iteration of the original world while others are extremely different. As a result each planet will offer something different to each unit, item, and player overall. There will even be some worlds where certain units cannot enter or certain items cannot be used. This is something every player will have to keep in mind. Though there will only be one Planet Card available during each play through.

Again, here is the elements so you don’t have to look back and forth between posts. Especially since it's been a while since I've posted anything about my Endless Conflict Project, sorry by the way. A creator like myself should never abandon a project like this. But anyways, each and every one of these will be affect by what Planet is in play.

Attack (self-explanatory thought don't know the values will be yet, I'm thinking either 1-100 or 1-5000 will need to start making units first in order to see how it should all be balanced out first.)

Defense (same)

Perception (same but not as high numbers, this one is only required when a unit card is equipped with an item card. Some items cards will require a certain number of Perception or there will be items cards that will boost perception which can be helpful in certain situations)

Charisma (this stat can help a unit enhance social effects and spells, also higher charisma can allow a unit card to charm a near defeated enemy unit card to join your cause but only if they have lower charisma. Though beware units with high charisma that get defeated will leave a possible intimidation debuff on your other cards. I'll be sure to iron out the details later)

Intelligence (Hm... I guess I'll have this one function against charisma allowing your cared to resist the hypnosis or charm of a high charisma enemy card. Also allowing them to use certain high-tech items or magical items.)

Will (This one will help your unit cards better resist mental debuffs like fear and hypnosis the higher it is. The lower it is the more susceptible your card is to magical and mental attacks. Though high enough it can also boost certain item cards or attacks)

Health (self explanitory)

Resistance (There will be an element system in Endless Conflict and with that in mind you'll always want to know what element your unit cards can resist if any. There are some that aren't affected by any elements but be sure to focus on any they can resist or even nullify)

Weakness (This is definitely what you'll want to focus on if they have a element that affects them. Anything their weak to will do twice as much damage at minimum thought there are time where it will do three times the damage.)

Boost (Then theirs finally elements that can boost their power if exposed to it, so be sure to focus heavily on this one as even if your enemy card strikes this exact element on this unit card, it will allow them to fight back with twice the attack power for a single turn. Thought of course if you have an item card that grants the exact element, they are boosted by this will be a permanent buff so long as you have that item)

Level 2

Light / Darkness / Sound / Psychic / Gravity / Disease / Medicine

Obviously, the Level 1 being the simplest and weakest while Level 5 are more complex and MUCH stronger.

anyway this issue features mello being interviewed about the dating rumors between him and near (which he strongly denies)… except he just ends up making it 1000% worse LMAOO. he’s sooo weird about near it’s insane (same tho).

the writing part was actually so hard bc i���m not naturally a witty person so it took wayy longer than it should’ve BUT i survived 😭.

What Happened To Adora and Catra In STNE ( She-Ra: The New Era )

[ Rue Randor was the child of Adora and Catra Randor, two women who were seen as heroes for ending Horde Prime's reign and Catra deemed a reformed woman, who paid little for her crimes of the past, including the manslaughter of Queen Angella and the cause for Horde Prime finding Etheria and Adora.

Within the household, Adora and Rue were conditioned to live as unknown victims of abuse, suffering brainwashing through gaslighting, love-bombing, and veiled threats. every now and then, there was physical abuse, such as bruises and claw marks, but Adora was placing herself as Rue's shield, suffering most of these injuries. both were taught to be complacent and forgiving.

But when Rue was 19 years old, she was given the chance to view the outside world through a wider lens, it was around the same time Adora slowly began to drift from her abusive wife, intimacy of all forms leaving with her, resulting in Catra gradually becoming erratic and acting out in fits of rage and jealousy, shouting accusations of affairs, secrets, and abandonment, amongst other things.

At the age of 23, Rue visited her family house only to find both of her mothers dead and beginning to decompose. Adora was brutalized, tortured, multiple lacerations on her body and deep, dark bruises, before Catra took both of their lives by hanging them to death. Catra only had a few bruises and a single laceration from Adora's attempts at defense. by DNA tests, it was confirmed Adora tried to use a kitchen knife that was found on the floor by authorities.

In current day, Adora's body is buried, whilst Catra's was burned. there was only a single statement from Rue in regards to Catra's death:

"i will forever hate Catra for what she did to my ma."

this report was given permission to be published by Rue Randor and her family, including Queen Glimmer of Brightmoon, the Archer of Hearts, Bow, and the Dryll Scientist, Entrapta.

Endless Conflict: Item Card

This is the Item Card that will contain weapons, magic items, magic spells, cybernetic weapons, and other stuff that’s either super powerful Deviants or just common stuff within Endless Conflict.

These items will be able to do anything such as raise basic stats, grant unique abilities to whatever Unit Card they are equipped to, give elemental buffs or debuffs, act as armor, or can even be an entire building that grants any of the mentioned effects to ALL your unit cards.

And just so you don’t need to look between two different posts I’ll be copying all the stats stuff from the previous post here.
