Thoughts on Pennyswaynes in which kid Bruce dies, Thomas becomes Batman, Martha the joker (? I dont fully understand the why of that, but im pretty sure she did that in that universe?) What does Alfred do? Besides suffering

You're talking about the Flashpoint universe, right? Martha ends up killing Alfred in that one.

I think in a Pennywaynes light, this is especially gruesome. Without Bruce, Martha loses it. But without Alfred, that's when Thomas starts to lose it and realize his wife is lost. She isn't just greiving, if she's willing to hurt Alfred of all people.

Something about how Jason Todd’s core character trait is how he lost faith. He lost faith in Shiela, in Bruce, in the entire concept that someone else can care about him and actually have his best interests at heart.

Something about how Catholic priest Flashpoint Jason Todd is someone who has such intense faith, who trust so heavily in someone basically unprovable. Something about how without Bruce, without being Robin, it was his faith that was his core character trait.

Something about how being Robin and the life he was led into changed him in such a tragic and deep seeded way. I don’t know

(For context:father todd was basically an au ver of jason todd introduced in a flashpoint comic where he wasn't found by batman thus continuing to live in crime alley and didn't become robin and eventually became a gang member but then left that life behind to become a priest)

I know about Flashpoint Batman, how that's Thomas Wayne who became Batman if Bruce was the one who died and Martha became the Joker, but I've been thinking about a what if Martha Wayne was the sole survivor and became Batwoman. She worked with the Amazons more over Ra's Al Ghul, basically slowed her aging down and through some wobbly dimension changes Beth and Kate's parents are killed so she adopts them.

Martha Wayne isn't how Flashpoint Thomas turned out, but her world isn't perfect. She deals with her own Joker, crazed admirers, and has a group of reliable Batgirls.

Barbara I'm debating on making her that world's Jason or Grayson. Carrie Kelley would be Damian's Robin and Stephanie would be Tim's Robin. As for the boys I'm thinking they have changed too.

I imagine Martha became a foster mother and took in young girls and boys. Harley, Selina, Diana she has helped or helped get better. When she arrives in Batman's world she's good at concealing her happiness at her son being grown up while also being concerned about his mental health, but not in a flashpoint Thomas Wayne manner.

She fights with him while in his world and Bruce is awestruck seeing his mother fight well and talks about how she became a great hero. Like I want this so much!
