Aurora is not inorganic. She is not ai. She is a space moon made of flesh and blood and teeth and bone. She is not an ai. She is a body that was taken and stripped of autonomy, of the right to self identify, of the right to think- to be imperfect and organic.
The metal is a veneer that hides how messy and traumatized and unfixable she is. From the outside she is a starship. From the inside she can still bleed.
And this makes them fundamentally incompatible. But yet, they are in love.
And really, it's no wonder Nastya fell in love with Aurora. Let's take a look at Nastya's home planet, or at least home society:

Its safe to say the world Nastya was born into, from the very minute she was born, was ridden with technology. She has augmented reality interfaces inplanted into her from birth. It would stand to reason that being taken from this society, wherein technology is everywhere, inside and out, would stand for a bit of a shock.
Aurora too had been augmented by the Cyberia.
While it is stated that the last time Nastya had used the ports themselves was directly before her death — "The last time she had used the ports, her tutor had ripped them out of her as the rebels stormed the palace" — Aurora is laced with Cyberian technology. I'd imagine she has something of a 'bluetooth wireless connection' with Aurora, rather than the physical data transfer of files between the ports and Nastya, it may as well be similar enough.
Imagine being Nastya, going from Cyberia, wherein there is augmented reality contantly, transplanted onto a ship with metal blood, a jonny, and a vampire. To Aurora, where the only bits of augmented reality run through Aurora.
Of course she'd fall in love with her. Aurora is familiarity. Aurora isn't organic. Aurora isn't human.
And of course when the undeniable part of aurora that is organic, that is a flesh moon plated in metal with her brain hooked to machines, when so much has broken and been replaced, when, presumably, aurora is less of an algorithm, nastya leaves with the brand cyberia left on her.
Because Aurora healing, becoming more of herself and less of a starship, is messy, and organic, and human.
and hard for nastya.
‘Think how long she’s been flying you around. Think how many bullet holes you’ve punched through her and how many atmospheres you’ve dropped her through. Think how many alterations and improvements we’ve made, Tim to her guns and Ashes to her storage and Brian to her engines and the Toy Soldier to who knows what. How much do you think is left of her after all she’s brought you through?’ Nastya held up the ancient, battered piece of hull plating. Just visible under the grime and scars of particles of space junk was a fragment of the Aurora’s original logo and serial number. Jonny honestly couldn’t remember the last time he had seen a version that hadn’t been painted by the Mechanisms themselves. ‘So she’s free, now.’ Nastya gestured around at the spaceship they were standing in. ‘This Aurora can take you where you want to go. I’m going to take my Aurora somewhere else.’
Aurora was ship of theseus'd. Aurora was improved. Aurora was no longer cyberian. (both literally, and metaphorically)
So nastya left.

We’re all in danger.
Don’t tell me how I know, I just know. I’ve…I’ve seen it. Yeah, I know that sounds crazy, but I’m being totally serious right now. I have seen it. The sights. The faces. The sounds — all of it plays out crystal clear in my mind, just as it has from the first moment I was hit by it. The vision.
Anna in the middle of the corridor, her red hair flying around her, screaming.
Multiple hands holding her down.
Masked faces surrounding her on a table.
Flashes of the other boys’ faces — Ash, Levi, Alex — all of them.
All of them, shrieking, machines whirring, lights flashing. Red.
Red. Red. RED.
They’re not here to help us. 
That is the only conclusion I can make. The images, the visions — it was all too clear. Way too clear. It had to be real!
And if it’s real, then I have to warn the others!
That’s exactly why I’m sprinting madly down the corridor right now — because I can hear her, Anna, screaming. Her high pitched horrified wails are exactly like I heard them before. This is what I saw — and if I act quickly enough, I could save her! “Anna! Anna! Calm down!” “N-no, no, get away from me! Get AWAY!” My feet skid to a halt. All the other teens are gathered around her as she paces in the middle of the corridor, clutching at her head, shrieking, raking her nails down her skin as if batting off invisible bugs. It’s…nothing short of a nightmare.
“Anna!”
I push through the crowd, ignoring the gasps and exclamations as I try to reach her. “A-Anna you have to calm down! Don’t give them a reason to take you!” Wherever she is, it’s not here. She doesn’t hear me. All she does is wail louder. My blue eyes widen as I stare at her, helpless, before peering desperately at the others. “C-come on, help me calm her down!” “Dude, there’s no way she’s calming down!”
“Yeah, look at her! She’s lost the plot!” “Sam!” I grit my teeth tightly, shaking my head hard. 
“Guys, listen to me! You don’t understand! We need to get her calm or—”
“There! She’s over here!”
My stomach turns to lead.
T-too late.
The doctors and nurses round the corner. They immediately start trying to herd us to the side, blocking us off from Anna so that they can get to her easier. 
“Don’t crowd her — give her the space, she can’t feel threatened.”
“A-Anna…”
My eyes peer at Ash for a moment. His green eyes are wide with horror, pressing back against Levi. I know Anna is his friend — and I also know that he’s not like the other patients here. He…he at least listens to me.
Maybe…just maybe…he’ll have my back on—
“Will we be needing a sedative, Doctor?” “I think that would be best,” Dr Richards replies, shaking her head, “She’s a danger to herself right now. We need to—”
“No — get away from her!”
I take a confident stride forward, trying to block their access. “Leave her alone! I-I won’t let you take her!” “What on earth are you talking about, Trenton?” My eyes flicker to the other side. Dr Voss has joined us now, folding his arms, concern flashing in his gaze. “We just need to settle her down  before she hurts herself. If you can just step aside—”
“Not happening,” I retaliate, shaking my head hard, “I-I know what you’re doing to us — what you’re going to do to us.”
I swish my head back towards my open-mouthed wardmates, frantically gesturing. “Listen, you have to believe me! We’re not safe here!”
The others immediately start murmuring. A familiar red head scoffs.
“Oh joy, our resident schizo’s at it again!”
“What the heck are you talking about, Trent? We couldn’t be any safer here. It’s a hos-pital.”
“Yeah, what crap are you spouting about—” “This place — it’s not what you think it is!” I continue, yelling above their accusations as I point at Dr Richards, “They’re not helping us — they’re hurting us — and they’ll hurt her if we don’t—!” “Trent, I think you need to calm down—”
“No! I’m not crazy I—”
“The hallucinations have come back, haven’t they?”
Her voice sounds so soft…so concerned…
Could I be…wrong?
“N-no, I saw it! I—”
“I’m so sorry, Trent, but right now…”
Her eyes meet mine. “You’re not making sense.”
Her declaration cuts through like a knife, sending me a sad look. “I understand this is upsetting Trent, but you need to step back. We’ll take it from here.”
“No—NO!”
They start moving towards her. Before I’m aware of what I’m doing I leap at Dr Richards and claw my hand across her face. It only takes a second for me to suddenly find myself pinned against the ground by the other nurses.
“No — nngh — get off me! Get OFF!” I kick and yell, twisting viciously against them. My blonde hair flies in my face as I struggle and writhe—
“Sedative — now! Trent you — nngh — need to calm down! We’re trying to help you!”
Behind me I hear Anna screaming and struggling in protest. That only makes me kick up a fight even more. My wild eyes peer from face to face of the others, Dr Voss and Nurse Taylor holding them back. Not a single one of them runs to our aid. They just…stand there, watching, open-mouthed.
“Sedative ready!” “Good — Trenton, please stop struggling—!” “NO! NO!” I throw back my head in a terrified wail as the sharp tip pierces my skin. The cold feeling of the drug coursing through my veins soon fills me. Desperate, I lock eyes with Ash, reaching out one final time. “A-Ash! Don’t listen to them — DON’T LISTEN! THEY’RE PLANNING THINGS FOR US! BAD THINGS! Don’t…d-don’t let them…let them…hur…”
My words slur into an unintelligible mess. Fog crosses my vision. Colours pulse in and out. The last glance I get is Ash’s teary gaze before the darkness entirely takes over.

Concrete Blocks - Manufacturing, Classification & Uses
     Concrete blocks are nowadays replacing bricks in masonry construction, notably in many multi-storeyed buildings. They are available in three types namely solid, hollow and cellular, widely used for the construction of filler walls and boundary walls in RC framework.
Concrete blocks are usually made in large sizes to make blockwork faster and consume less cement in joints than the brickwork. If the percentage of the voids is more than 25%, then they are hollow blocks and blocks with voids less than 25% are only perforated blocks.
The cellular concrete blocks are generally referred to as lightweight aerated concrete blocks. All these blocks are extensively used for compound walls and non-loadbearing walls.
Hollow blocks are specially made for loadbearing walls, which are useful in reducing a dead load of masonry in buildings. Blocks can also be with cement and sand called cement-sand blocks or with cement and soil called soil-cement blocks which are of low strength and use for low-cost construction.
Manufacturing of Concrete Blocks
    BIS recommends a fineness modulus of the combined aggregate between 3.6 to 4 and coarse aggregates used are of size 6 to 12 mm. Lean mixes up to 1:8 are generally used. Concrete mix for concrete blocks should not be richer than one part of the cement to six parts of the volume of combined aggregate.

Concrete blocks can be handmade and also machine-made. The cast block is then cured in a water tank or yard for at least 14 days (water need to be changed at least every 4 days).
After curing, the blocks are dried for 4 weeks before being used in masonry construction. They should be stacked with voids in the horizontal direction to facilitate easy drying, or they should be steam cured and dried.
The whole process allows the complete shrinkage of the block to take place they are laid on the wall, which is very important for strong walls.
Classification of Concrete Blocks
Hollow concrete blocks
     Open and Closed cavity-type hollow concrete blocks are classified into three grades:
Grade A - They possess a minimum density of 1500 kg/m³ and are used for load-bearing walls.
Grade B - They have a density below 1500 kg/m³ and used for load-bearing walls.
Grade C - These blocks are used for non-load bearing walls and have density more than 1000 kg/m³.
All these blocks are available in decorative facings like fluted facing to provide artistic effects.

Solid concrete blocks
     They should be manufactured for specific concrete strength of 4.0 and 5.0 N/mm² in 28 days. These blocks are used as load-bearing walls and have a density of not less than 1800 kg/m³.

Paver blocks
     These blocks are solid concrete blocks of different shapes specially made for exterior ground paving on sidewalks, parking lots, driveways, petrol pumps, industrial floors, etc.

AAC Blocks
     AAC blocks refer as Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Blocks. These blocks are also termed as light-weight hollow blocks.
They are prepared as solid blocks from cement, water and materials like ground sand, pulverized fly ash together with additives to aerate and stabilize the air bubbles.
The final result is a mixture of thick liquid which is then poured into steel moulds to form large cakes. After some time, the mixture sets and ready to cut into a serious of individual blocks of required size using taut steel wires.

Very light blocks for partition and moderate-weight blocks for light loadbearing walls can be obtained from aac blocks. These blocks do not shrink on drying as the material is obtained by autoclaving.
The autoclaved cement product is crystalline, which is different from the product obtained by normal wet curing or by ordinary steam curing.
Sizes and Tolerances
The nominal dimensions of concrete block as per BIS are as follows:
 Length - 600, 500, 450 or 400 mm
 Height - 100 or 200 mm
 Width - 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, 250 or 300 mm
Actual sizes will be less than 10 mm of mortar thickness. For Concrete and Hollow concrete blocks nominal length 390 mm and height 190 mm. The thickness for loadbearing walls is 190 mm, compound walls 140 mm and for filler walls 90 mm.
These dimensions can easily be achieved in machine-made blocks than handmade blocks. The width of blocks use for load-bearing walls is 200 mm and for parapet or filler walls is 100 mm.
Points to Remember:
The mortar strength should not be more than the strength of the blocks. With high mortar strength, cracks will be less and very large, but with low mortar strength, cracks will be small and distributed.
 We should use only blocks that are cured properly for at least 14 days and dried for 4 weeks to avoid shrinkage during construction.
 We should not wet the blocks while placing in masonry construction.

 Freshly-made and uncured concrete blocks should never be allowed on the work.
 Blockwork, particularly ordinary cement sand blocks and soil-cement blocks should not be used as loadbearing walls for concrete slab roof which favours to expand and contract with temperature.
 The maximum difference in sizes allowed is ¹5 mm in length and ¹3 mm in height and width.
 They should be protected from rains while being stored as they absorb moisture by wetting and shrinking on drying.
     The main disadvantage of concrete blocks is shrinkage due to the movement of moisture content which is not present in bricks. As these blocks are much larger than bricks, any foundation movement will cause blockwork to crack more than the brickwork.
