ADHD money/budgeting system I'm currently using for my benefit is going well (I've been using it for like half a year now?), and I wanna recommend it.
You Need a Budget is EXCELLENT. 10/10 do recommend. Uhhh rambling about it and my generic disclaimers + gushing extensively under the cut but TL;DR I think it's great for ADHD ppl, I've used it for 6+ months now and I find it super SUPER helpful. also weirdly fun.
DISCLAIMERS:
Budgeting helps you understand/know your money, it can't make money appear where there is none.
Everyone should learn to budget even if you don't have much money (especially then)
This is NOT a magic trick solution. Just like everything else, it is an assistive tool. This is one of those adult things we can't simply opt out of without negative consequences, though.
My advice is based on something I am currently able to do. That is, I can spend an amount of money on this specific thing that works well for me. If you have no extra money to spend then previously I was tracking things in a notebook. So you can still do this.
I believe Dave Ramsey is a fundie fraud/hack and no one should listen to him about money.
DID YOU KNOW THEY CANCELLED MINT???
Okay? OKAY.
Ahem.
You Need a Budget is EXCELLENT.
It is called YNAB for short. The first 34 days are your free trial, and that is my referral link. If anyone uses it and then signs up for a subscription, we both get a month free. Also you can share a subscription with up to six people (account owner can see everything but individuals can pick and choose what they share amongst each other) so like...idk your whole polycule can be on one account. Or your kids. Whatever.
If you are a student, it's free for a year. If you aren't, a subscription is $99 for a year (paid all at once) or $14.99 monthly, which is equivalent to paying Amazon prime. Go cancel Prime and get this instead tbh.
They got a whole article just on ynab and ADHD. They also have like...a big variety of ways to access their info? They have a book, podcast episodes, YouTube videos, blog posts, q&A's, free live workshops you can join (you can request live captioning), emails they can send (if you want) a wiki, and so on. They got workshops on all kinds of topics!!
So whatever ends up working for your brain. It also has a matching app.
If you lost Mint this year they have a gajillion things for moving from Mint.
Also they have a "got five minutes?" Page which has a slider so you can decide how much attention/time you have before going on lol:
Tumblr media
They only have 4 rules of the budget, they're simple and practical, and it doesn't get judgey or like...mean about your spending.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
1. Give every dollar a job 2. Embrace your true expenses 3. Roll with the punches 4. Age your money.
THEN THEY BREAK THESE DOWN INTO SMALL STEPS FOR YOU! They even have a printable! Also these rules are great because there's built in expectations that things WILL HAPPEN and it's NOT all or nothing with a fear of total collapse into failure. Reality and The Plan don't always align, especially if you have ADHD. So it's directing our energy towards the true expenses and not clinging to The Plan!! over reality.
You can automate a lot of shit (you can sync with your bank accounts just like mint, but also automate tagging the categories of regular expenses/transactions). And if for whatever reason you accidentally do something that makes the budget look weird or wrong:
A) you can usually fix it somehow OR b) they have like, a button you can press that gives you a clean slate and archives the previous version of the budget for you.
So if you forget for a few weeks or months, or accidentally input something wildly wrong, or just don't want to look at a really terrible month anymore and feel like you need a fresh start you can usually either fix it or start fresh which is really nice.
The app also (for whatever reason) scratches my itch to have things like...have incentives or little game-like goals in a way mint never did? I don't know why. Filling up the bars or putting money into the categories to cover my expenses is satisfying lmao. You can also make a big wish expense category for all the fun shit you want, and fund it whenever you can and then you can see the little bar go up and that's fun.
Anyways I've been using it for like 6+ months now and I think it's really helped me when I use it.

Light in the Dark-ChrisMD
Chris's usually confident big achiever girlfriend starts to spiral down. Chris is there.
Depression symptoms throughout- this is a little self indulgent as my head space is not good right now.
Tumblr media
Y/N had built her life on movement. Planes, trains, boats—if it could take her somewhere new, she’d been on it. She was the girl who trekked through the Amazon on her gap year, bungee-jumped off bridges in New Zealand, and hiked through Patagonia, camera in hand, breathless with laughter. Even her work was related to travel, she started off as cabin crew before spending a year in China teaching English as a second language. Soon the age of twenty five came and while she was still young there was a part of her that yearned to have a base so she was off to London but still, as a sales representative for a big international company she still got to do what she loved. Those who knew her always called her strong, life was filled with exciting moments and adventure, she loved a challenge, and she was a joy. Everyone however had their secrets.
But now, she sat on her couch, staring at the blank screen in front of her.
Her laptop screen dimmed from inactivity, and she made no move to wake it. The words wouldn’t come. The ideas that used to flow so effortlessly had dried up, leaving her empty. The presentation usually came quickly, formatting was a breeze, never boring she always lived her breathed the topics she spoke about now there was only pure emptiness. She should have responded to her emails, planned her next meeting, wrote something, anything. Instead, her phone sat face-down on the table, vibrating occasionally with messages she couldn’t bring herself to read no one was meant to see her like this.
She closed her eyes and exhaled. The air felt heavy, like breathing in water.
Y/N stood on the rooftop of a hotel in Tokyo, wind whipping her auburn curls around her face. She grinned into the camera, holding it at arm’s length.
“So they want to open the account immediately, I’ve already drafted the initial paperwork but I will send it over to you to check?” Y/N said to her boss, it was only a month ago, this account was huge and she was so excited to get it.
“What would I do without you?”
Well right now he was going to have to try as, she couldn’t even imagine even opening her mouth to speak.
Y/N pushed back the meeting schedule. Just a week, she told herself. She needed more time to get the details right.
Then another week. Then another.
Her friends noticed first, well actually it was Chris’s friends, which seemed to cement her idea that her friends didn’t care. They did, they just assumed she was away again.
“You okay,?” George asked over voice chat. “Haven’t seen you in a bit.”
“Yeah, yeah, just busy,” she replied, forcing her voice to sound light.
Will chimed in. “You ghosting us, or what?”
She laughed. “Of course not. Just catching up on work.”
Lies. The presentation still sat untouched. The pressure built in her chest like a weight pressing down, harder and harder, but she couldn’t move. Couldn’t write. Couldn’t sell. Couldn’t be the person they all expected.
She was failing.
She stopped replying to messages. Stopped picking up FaceTime calls.
Even Chris, who she talked to nearly every day, got nothing but short replies.
Chris: Are you free for lunch? Y/N: Busy. Chris: Everything okay? Y/N: Fine.
She wasn’t fine. But what was she supposed to say? That she felt like a fraud? That every achievement, every milestone, every person she signed up to the company, none of it felt real anymore?
That she wasn’t sure if she even deserved any of it?
So she stopped talking.
Chris showed up at her door.
She didn’t answer at first. Just stared at the screen as his name flashed under the doorbell camera. He knocked again, then texted: I know you’re in there.
She should have ignored it. Should have let him walk away.
Instead, she opened the door.
Chris frowned the moment he saw her. “Y/N.”
She knew what he was seeing. The unwashed hoodie she’d been living in. The dark circles under her eyes. The exhaustion etched into her face.
“Are you sick?” he asked.
“No.”
“Have you eaten today?”
She hesitated. His expression softened. “Can I come in?”
She didn’t answer, just stepped aside.
Chris entered without another word, moving to the kitchen like he belonged there. He opened the fridge, frowned at its near-empty shelves, then started making tea.
Y/N sat at the table, staring at the grain of the wood.
Finally, Chris placed a mug in front of her and sat across from her. He didn’t ask anything. Didn’t push. Just sat there.
She should have said something. Maybe thanked him. Maybe lied and said she was okay.
Instead, she wrapped her hands around the mug and whispered, “I don’t know what’s wrong with me.”
Chris didn’t react right away. He let the words settle, like he knew how hard they were to say.
Then he spoke, quiet and steady. “Nothing’s wrong with you, my darling.”
She huffed a humourless laugh. “Doesn’t feel that way.”
Chris leaned forward, elbows on the table. “You know I am here for you.”
Y/N didn’t get better overnight.
She still struggled to open her laptop. Still flinched when a message came through. Some days, getting out of bed felt impossible.
But Chris stayed.
He didn’t push her to work. Didn’t tell her to "snap out of it" or "just be positive." Instead, he showed up.
He brought her food when she forgot to eat. Watched movies with her in comfortable silence. Walked with her when the walls of her flat felt too small.
When she broke down one night, confessing that she felt like she was failing everyone, her audience, her clients, most of all him he just held her, murmuring, “You’re not failing anyone. You’re allowed to feel this way.”
She still didn’t believe it. Not entirely. But for the first time in weeks, she didn’t feel completely alone.
And maybe, just maybe, that was enough for now. But that small glimmer of hope faded, she dropped and she couldn’t feel herself slipping. All Chris knew was that he had the next ready to catch her.
Y/N didn’t remember the exact moment when the sadness became unbearable.
It wasn’t one big event. It was everything the exhaustion, the pressure, the relentless voice in her head telling her she was a failure. It built and built until one night, it broke her.
She was sitting on the floor of her bedroom, knees drawn to her chest, her hands gripping her own arms so tightly they ached. The room was dark except for the glow of her phone screen, which was filled with missed messages. Her breathing was uneven, her chest tight.
Then, without warning, she started to cry.
Not quiet tears. Not the kind of crying that could be wiped away and ignored. This was the kind that stole her breath, made her body shake, made her feel like she was drowning.
Chris found her like that.
She barely registered the sound of her front door opening. He had a key now; she wasn’t even sure when she’d given it to him, but he used it without hesitation.
She flinched when he crouched in front of her, his voice low and gentle. “Y/N.”
She shook her head, gripping her arms tighter. “I can’t—Chris, I can’t—”
Her throat burned, her words coming out in sobs. Chris didn’t say anything else. He just sat down beside her and wrapped an arm around her shoulders, pulling her against him.
She let herself fall into him, burying her face against his chest. His hoodie smelled like rain and something warm, something safe.
“I’m here,” he murmured.
She didn’t know how long they sat there. Time didn’t make sense anymore. Nothing made sense anymore.
The next wave wasn’t sadness, it was anger.
Y/N had always prided herself on her independence. She was the one who figured things out, who got things done. Now, she could barely respond to an email, let alone film a video.
One morning, Chris came over to find her sitting on the couch, staring at her laptop with an untouched cup of tea beside her.
“Any luck?” he asked, careful.
Y/N’s jaw tightened. “No.”
Chris hesitated. “Want to take a break? Go for a walk?”
Something inside her snapped.
“A walk isn’t going to fix this, Chris!” she snapped, slamming the laptop shut. “Nothing is going to fix this!”
Chris didn’t flinch. He didn’t leave. He just watched her, his expression unreadable.
“I know,” he said quietly. “And I’m not trying to fix it.”
His calmness made her even angrier.
“Then what are you doing here?” she demanded. “You’re wasting your time! I’m useless right now. I can’t do anything. I don’t even know why I—”
Her voice cracked. The rage crumbled beneath the weight of exhaustion, of frustration, of shame.
Chris exhaled and sat on the couch beside her, close but not touching.
“You’re not useless,” he said. “You’re struggling. That’s not the same thing.”
She looked away. “It feels the same.”
Chris didn’t argue. He just reached for her hand, threading his fingers through hers.
She wanted to pull away. But she didn’t.
Some days, Y/N felt nothing.
No sadness, no anger, just an empty, hollow void. She’d wake up, stare at the ceiling for an hour, then drag herself to the couch and stay there.
Chris noticed.
One evening, he sat beside her, stretching out his legs. “Wanna watch something?”
She shrugged.
He put on a random episode of The Inbetweeners. It played. She barely watched.
But he stayed.
Another day, he brought her favourite food. She picked at it but barely ate.
He didn’t push.
She didn’t understand how he had the patience. Anyone else would have given up by now.
But not Chris. He knew what it was like, he knew what it felt like to have the weight of the world on his shoulders, it happened to him so much his brain wouldn’t switch off either, his brain constantly told him something bad was going to happen to him. He knew what had helped him but he also knew his love wasn’t in the position to hear it right now, the last thing he wanted to do was to push her away so he waited for the right moment, however long it was going to take.
One night, as they lay in silence, she whispered, “You don’t have to do this.”
Chris turned his head, looking at her in the dim light. “Do what?”
“Sit here. Deal with this.”
His brows furrowed. “You’re not something to be ‘dealt with,’ Y/N.”
She exhaled sharply, looking away. “I’m not exactly fun to be around right now.”
He was quiet for a long moment. Then, in a voice so soft it almost broke her:
“I don’t care about fun. I care about you.”
Her throat tightened.
She wanted to believe him.
The change didn’t come all at once. There was no defining moment where she suddenly felt okay. It was gradual. Painfully slow.
It started with one morning where she got out of bed before noon.
Then a day where she managed to shower without feeling like it took all of her energy.
Then a moment where she caught herself smiling really smiling at something Chris said.
She still had bad days. Days where the weight in her chest returned, where she felt like she was slipping back down. But they weren’t every day anymore.
Chris noticed before she did.
“You’ve been humming,” he pointed out one afternoon.
Y/N blinked. “What?”
“You used to hum when you were working. You haven’t done it in weeks.”
She hadn’t realized.
Chris nudged her foot with his. “Feels like a good sign.”
Maybe it was.
One night, she sat with Chris in the kitchen, their tea mugs between them. She hesitated, then said, “I think I want to start working again. Just a couple of hours a day maybe, catch up on some lost paperwork.”
Chris didn’t react with excitement. He just nodded, as if he’d known this moment would come. “Do you want me to sit with you while you do?”
She swallowed. “Yeah. Maybe.”
Chris smiled, squeezing her hand. “Alright.”
For the first time in months, she felt a flicker of something.
Not joy, not yet.
But something close.
Hope.

This is my last template. In view of the situation in occupied Palestine and the exactions committed by the Google company, I've decided to stop producing templates for RPGs. Indeed, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud signed a $1.22 billion contract to provide cloud technology to the Israeli government and military. By supporting Israeli apartheid with vital technologies, Amazon and Google are directly implicated in its entire system of oppression, including its unfolding genocide in Gaza. (Sources: https://bdsmovement.net/Act-Now-Against-These-Companies-Profiting-From-Genocide) To put an end to my use of this account as a template provider, I've decided to do one last GDOC (this time, for a fee) to donate all the funds raised to kitchens set up by refugee families in Palestine, Lebanon and Syria. Naturally, I'll be giving you regular updates on these donations in order to keep transparency on purchases. The price is set at 3.50 €. Happy Turning Day!
Tumblr media
This is the movable holiday in my personal calendar when the approach of autumn is celebrated. Turning Day marks the day when reddening maple leaves are first observed prior to the autumn solstice. In my area, this typically happens in early September.
Maple trees tend to be the first trees to display seasonal changes. They blossom in late winter/early spring, their seeds begin to drop in early summer, they often show the first signs of color change in early autumn, and their sap runs in winter the minute the weather starts to turn toward spring thaw. Thus I look to them in my practice as harbingers of change and the cycles of life, growth, and harvest.
Other personal holidays in my calendar include:
First Robin Day - the day on which the first wild robin is seen following the winter solstice, heralding the spring
First Flowers Day - the day on which early blooms are first observed in local gardens before the spring solstice
Planting Day - the day on which I plant my first round of seeds for the year
Dandelion Day - the day on which the first yellow dandelion appears in my yard in springtime, heralding the summer
Falling Flowers - the period during which blossoms from cherry or myrtle trees start to come loose and drift on the wind or collect in piles
Spirit Day - the day on which the local Spirit Halloween opens
First Frost - the day on which frost is first observed on windows ahead of the winter solstice
(Due to climate change and my local climate zone being different from the one I was raised in, seasonal changes are a bit off-kilter and solstices and equinoxes don't always directly align with the type of weather I grew up knowing. So watching for these little signs helps me to celebrate those changes and have something to look forward to.)
Note: This is my UPG (Unshared Personal Gnosis) and thus is not subject to peer review or approval, nor do I expect it to fit perfectly into or account for the beliefs of others. That being said, the creation of personal holidays and observances is a practice as old as humanity and I happily encourage others to try out the idea themselves if they feel so inclined.
(If you’re enjoying my content, please feel free to drop a little something in the tip jar or check out my published works on Amazon or in the Willow Wings Witch Shop. You can also check out my show Hex Positive on the Nerd & Tie Podcast Network and wherever fine podcasts are heard. 😊)

Where & How I Finally Started Getting Paid With Affiliate Programs | 💰💰💰
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Harsh Truth About Affiliate Programs (And What Actually Worked for Me)
Let’s be real—not all affiliate programs are worth your time, especially if you’re just starting out. I tried a few, and let me tell you straight up: some of them SUCKED.
The Flops:
1. Digistore24
Absolutely not. From faulty links, unreliable dashboards, to emails that wouldn’t stop even after deleting my account, Digistore24 was a complete waste of time for me. I’m not even going into details—it’s just that bad.
2. Amazon Associates
Trash. The only way you’re making even $100/month is if you have a blog on your own domain, 100+ affiliate links, and consistent traffic. And even then? That payout takes forever to build up—and don’t forget the payout fees and percentages they take. Imagine earning 50 cents and having to pay a fee just to cash it out. No, thanks.
Better Option: The Amazon Storefront
If you’ve got a face-based brand on TikTok, YouTube, or Twitter, consider applying for an Amazon Storefront instead. It’s more creator-focused, but they’re picky.
What Actually Worked:
3. Small Brand Collaborations
When I was starting out, I personally emailed a bunch of small fashion and beauty brands. Most of them didn’t even have an affiliate program—but because I reached out, they created one with me or offered me a custom collab.
Why it worked:
• I had a solid email pitch highlighting my strengths and how it would benefit them
• Small brands are more likely to say yes
• They’re open to flexible deals
• It’s mutually beneficial if you grow together
• Just don’t overcharge—be realistic. These are small businesses, not Nike.
The Game Changer:
4. ShareASale
This is where the real affiliate income started for me. ShareASale is a marketplace—meaning it’s not just one business, but hundreds. You sign up once and can apply to merchants in your niche (fashion, beauty, finance—you name it).
What I love about it:
• No need for a huge following—you can have a Tumblr, Pinterest, or Insta
• Most merchants approve you easily
• You can earn flat rates or commission
• It’s now partnering with Awin (even more brands!)
• You’re not locked into one niche—you can explore multiple
If you’re a beginner and want to see actual results, start with ShareASale. Take note that AWIN has owned ShareASale since 2017 and from the end of 2025 onwards, ShareASale will be completely renewed through AWIN, so if you’re signing up for the first time, I suggest starting now with a profile on AWIN so you won’t need to worry about the transfer unless you’re just looking to explore and don’t plan on doing affiliation long term.
Bonus Tip: Pinterest = Goldmine
Pinterest has become my go-to platform. If you’re serious about building traffic without showing your face, Pinterest is perfect. I created an eBook, the M3, that teaches you how to get 1 million monthly views in under 6 months (yes, it’s possible, if i did it you can too)
I’ve already helped over 20 people, and I’m proud of it. If you’re new to Pinterest or trying to scale your account, the M3 is your guide.
If you’re already doing well on Pinterest but don’t know how to monetise it, download my new ebook Pin to Profit which teaches you how to analyse, learn more on SEO & more.
all links down below
If you’ve tried the affiliate game and you’re tired of the fluff, I hope this helped clear the air. This is real talk from someone who’s been through it, earned the cents, and finally found what works.

TIPS AND TRICKS FOR hEDS AND POTS
(Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome)
First some background, I am a college student living in a dorm. Had my symptoms since 16 and was officially diagnosed at 20. This is what works for me and my symptoms. I’m still learning more and more about POTS as it was kinda shoved under the rug for me.
- for low blood pressure have salty snacks. I personally hate flavored water and unflavored electrolyte water still tastes weird. I have a little snack corner with snacks and salt in case my blood pressure drops
- be a part of the disability program at your school!!! Even if you don’t need a specific accommodations join it. It helps the school and your teachers be aware. Since I’m part of my schools programs, if needed I get get a ride to my classes.
- TENS unit!!! This thing is my lifesaver when I have a dislocation. You can get some on amazon but depending on insurance, you can get one covered as well.
- eat more protein. Diet won’t cure anything but I find having more protein has really helped with my energy levels. I don’t eat much meat myself but chicken is always a good one. I also get Kodiak protein muffins (the double chocolate ones are good, rest are meh), fair life milk (more protein compared to most other brands), and fiber granola bars. I’ve found that fiber bars tend to have protein and vice versa.
- supplements!!! Most patients with EDS will have some vitamin deficiency. For me it’s B12 and D3 (which I find is most common) Talk to your doctor of course but supplements can help keep your body normalize better.
- mobility aids!!! Always talk to a doctor or physical therapist to ensure you are using them correctly but my cane really helps on certain days. Don’t go through insurance because you can easily get a nice cane for cheap online, insurance will only cover so much use it for bigger items like a wheelchair.
- fans. I’m always overheating, I keep my room cold and have a fan going most times. I just cover myself in blankets if I’m cold. Just easier for me personally.
- compression socks! I personally don’t like most compression items as they bother me but my ankles are really unstable. I got two compression sleeves at Walmart and they help me feel more stable walking. Sole inserts as well.
- If you have a high arch get some good hiking/running shoes, I love my Hokas. Sadly they can be expensive but there’s many cheaper options available! (I’m unsure what is best for those with flat feet)
-chronic fatigue, make a schedule that can account for naps if needed. I ended up taking sleep aids and it has really helped. But even just being able to have the luxury to take a nap if needed has really been helpful
THINGS I WISH I DID FOR COLLEGE
- ask about the dorms!!! I was under the assumption everything would have an elevator and my apartment on campus does not.
- if you use a shower seat, always ask which dorm has accessible showers.
- as stated earlier sign up with the disability services right away. It only helps with finding dorm housing.
- get a single room if you can! My medical equipment and pills takes up space and it’s much easier to keep it locked and secured when alone vs with a roommate.
Feel free to share more!! There’s always room to learn and discover new things

Just wondering: Where did you read any of the GOTG/Rocket comics? I've looked for a while and can't find a reliable site to read them for the life of me xD
hey babe! this is a great, fair question.
honestly, as an artist and as someone with an ever-decreasing trust re: companies honoring digital licenses, i like print media for my favorite comics. i have most of the modern rocket, rocket & groot, and groot arcs in print.
i care much less about most gotg comics at large lol, so i have been more creative in my consumption of them. some ideas below (and maybe others will see this and add their own!) ♡ i am US-based so these may or may not be options in your location.
i was very lucky in 2023-2024. my partner had a free one-year subscription to marvel unlimited, so i consumed a vast amount of gotg comic content then. i don't love a lot of gotg comics (i'm a cretin, i know; a lot of the human characters are boring to me) so i read a lot at that time when it was free lol. things may have changed but marvel unlimited at the time was not a super-intuitive app (it might have been better from a web browser?), and there is a three-month lag from the comics hitting the shelves to be available in-app, but i didn't care about that too much at the time since i was mostly reading older stuff. marvel unlimited is $10/month i think. it looks like there is currently a free trial period you can access with a Disney+ account (not sure how long that lasts), and a code for 50% off for two months.
comixology through amazon is $6/month i think, and there's a 30-day free trial. if you're interested in going that route, i'd recommend lining up all the stuff you want to read in a list before you even sign up, and then consuming as much as you can before you cancel. you read through the kindle app, and some comics are available through kindle unlimited, too. if you've got money to spend and you enjoy electronic copies, you can also straight-up buy most of the comics through kindle. i haven't done a comparison on e-price vs print-price, so you'd probably want to double-check that.
finally, we also have a used bookstore near by with a decent tradebacks section, and we usually stop in about once a month. there was a pretty decent hardback version of rocket raccoon 1: a chasing tale (2014, skottie young) there two weeks ago, and it's actually where i got my copy of groot (2015, loveness & kesinger) about a year ago. i think i got it for like a quarter of the new-print price, and it was in really good condition. all the pages were nice and there was a little grime on the hardcover that i was able to get off (carefully) with some dish soap and a damp cloth. i've also gotten a couple gotg arcs there for cheap.
of course, all this relies on having at least some expendable income (unless you're gonna just truck through your whole library on that 30-day trial from comixology, which i fully support). i have not looked into this recently BUT if you have access to a local library, a lot of times they do have tradebacks/comics and will get what you want with an interlibrary loan if they don’t have it on hand. in most places you can coordinate the whole thing entirely online (even accessing the media digitally, sometimes).
beyond that, there really isn't (to my knowledge) a good way to access the comics for free, which i have complex feelings about.
i hope one of these options works for you nonnie, or that there are better options available and you can find them quickly! best of luck, and happy comics-hunting, my friend. ♡♡ may you find exactly what you need.

I’m extremely excited to announce that we are now opening submissions for the second volume of JUNK.
First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone who read or contributed to Volume I. I’ve received a lot of valuable feedback over the past three months, and I have a lot of new ideas for how to further develop the concept. While the submission process will stay roughly the same, there will be some key changes…
1: Because I was on a time-crunch last time, I didn’t have the opportunity to do the kinds of content-level editing typical for a literary journal. This time around, the submission window will be much longer so that I can read every piece and then return it to you with feedback for improvement before publishing (unlike last time where the edits were grammatical/structural/superficial).
2: Instead of using email, which was very messy on my end, I’ve set up a Google form and Google Docs account just for the journal. Submissions will be done via this route, but if you cannot use that for whatever reason, just email it and I’ll upload it in for you.
3: After doing some more research, I’ve found a relatively cost effective way to upscale from handmade zines to books, so this next edition will be printed in both paperback and hardback via Amazon publishing. Yay. All volumes will also still be published in free eBook form. Down the line I would like to switch to an independent printer because you all know my opinions about Amazon, but that will require some fundraising.
4: Because the journal will be switching from zine format, I can include a lot more content. If possible, I would like to accept a lot more non-fiction content, longer form projects like novellas, essays, screen and stage plays, journalistic and travel writing, photography, and so on and so forth. The first volume had a lot (a lot) of poetry, which was to be expected, but I think having some diversity would make the product more broadly attractive.
Anyway, thank you for reading and I will be posting more updates as things move along. Submissions will be open from now, March 24th, until May 1st. Links to the Google form and email address are in bio.
All my love
Rose

wait how are you banned from amazon
it is merely an assumption, not particularly a definite certainty.
i made over 10 accounts and with those accounts i signed up for free 30 day prime~ next day free deliveries. (then cancelled before the 30 days were up!)
now, when i make a *new* email to sign up and try to purchase something, it doesn't work. says refer to my bank.
now, when i log into any of my previous amazon accounts~~~ it doesn't work. says refer to my bank.
upon analyzing this i've deduced that i am/may be banned.
it's tedious to call my bank because i have deep seated anger issues.

I'm Jack (he/they), a writer and sex worker activist, and here's my new pinned post!
Tumblr media
Where to find my work on the topic of sex work and transness:
You can find articles on my website about my experiences in sex work, breakdowns of the law, guides, essays on the issues sex workers face, and more.
If you're interested in reading about the experiences of transmasculine sex workers in particular, you can pre-order a copy of Working Guys: A Transmasculine Sex Worker Anthology!
If you'd like updates about articles I've written about sex work for different publications, links to podcast episodes I'm in, sex worker news, and free digital zines about sex work, sign up to my mailing list here!
For those interested in sex worker history, you can get a copy of the first English translation which I recently completed of Contemporary Prostitution: Study of a Social Question by Léo Taxil, originally published in 1884. You can get it from Barnes and Noble (US) or Blackwells (UK) or Amazon (worldwide).
I also have an AO3 account, where I write fanfiction mostly about sex worker characters or characters I make into sex workers for the purposes of the fic.
