Woe fan seasonal spirits be upon ye ✨

YEAH THATS RIGHT for one of my uni projects I decided to design some seasonal spirits plus a guide for my own hypothetical Sky season! The original concept was having a skykid guide the player helps uncover some of the ruins and truths left buried by the ancestor spirits, though I kinda had to just focus on the designs themselves due to time woooo

Each of these spirits were probably alive when the dark stone pollution/general issues in the kingdom came to ahead. The idea that Fearful Florist was trying to preserve some of the flowers destroyed by the pollution, Caring Fisherman used to fish for light creatures for dark stone processing but later came back and freed them and finally Starry Manta Rider used to raise Mantas but slowly watched as they were either taken or became spirits.. mmmm we love fun lore ✨

(The seasonal location would probably be in a desert area outside the Vault of Knowledge, similar to Isle, Wasteland and the Little Prince area! I imagine it’s accessed through a crack in the vaults walls. Maybe the player follows a little starry manta to get there?)

I did have ideas for seasonal quests like uncovering the spirits pasts or saving the guide from a krill during one of their investigations of some ruins but did not have to do draw it sadly ;-;

BUT YEAH enjoy these silly concepts I hope yall enjoy them!

I would like to think Dead by Daylight was paying homage to Marsha with their first openly trans character, Orela Rose. (For those who don't play the game she has such a beautiful backstory and bravely marched into the fog when she heard a cry for help)

have you seen the new nightwear groovy? alas, the dream of the animal onesies or the pillow fight groovy are dashed 😞 - i have yet to see the card's story but i assume that yuu is interviewing the boys again this year like the birthday boy cards cause there's no other characters in the card (?)

I too am disappointed that we didn't get a big full-on pillow fight. 😔 but he DOES battle by throwing his pillow, so at least we get some cushion action in there!

it looks like this round of birthday cards aren't going to be interviews/conversations, at least not for most of it -- the first part was Jamil talking to Ortho (who he duos with) about what his dormmates are doing for his birthday (they're setting up a surprise party/parade (because Kalim) but they're doing an extremely bad job of it and he's having to go around making sure that they don't screw it up) (being Jamil is suffering). second part was Jamil talking to his (unvoiced mob) roommate and answering Crowley's School Improvement Survey (he wants bigger bathrooms) (also a fridge in his room) (actually, make that a whole kitchen) (but mostly bigger bathrooms). then third part was his ~morning routine~, aka talking to himself about his hair and makeup, as one does in a visual novel. it's less cohesive than the previous birthday stories, but it's all pretty chill and there's some fun stuff in there! (Najma sent him hair stuff for his birthday that's way too fancy and he can't decide if she did it to annoy him or not. truly, being Jamil is indeed suffering.)

if all the cards are going to be about nightly/morning routine though, we're going to absolutely melt when we get to Vil, brace yourselves

With the "it has the best stats but it's an offense to the senses" thing still an issue and likely to remain that way, I'd like to commend Xenoblade Chronicles X for the revolutionary game design of having slots for the gear you use and cosmetic slots for what it looks like you're wearing so you can get the benefits of both the most useful gear for the situation at hand and still look devilishly handsome in the process.

Yes, this is me begging Nintendo to port the game to Switch, why do you ask?
