Hey there folks, this is kind of a bummer message to write. The county fair is in town, so the motels in the area are all pretty expensive for the next three weeks. Even with the discount we get, it was about $900 to extend for the week. That's most of my dad's monthly check gone. My mom's job is also going to start splitting her monthly check into two payments. Meaning on the 10th when we usually get about $1100, we will only be getting $550. That's not even enough to cover a full weeks rent, especially for the next three weeks in this area. So we need all hands on deck to share our fundraiser links on social media, with friends,.family, coworkers, etc. Any and all donations are needed now more than ever before as we basically have to figure out a new way to budget every month thanks to this unforseen change in the way my mom gets paid. Please consider helping us in any way you can or can suggest to me. I'm going to spend this weekend looking into mental health options and on Monday I will be going to make sure my insurance is still active. As a filipino and an Lmk fan, I am Conflicted and worried. As someone who lives in luzon, we might get dragged into this war.

As for my fellow lmk fans that are Chinese, please don't hate or go against us. We're only trying to protect our sea, it's where we essentially get our natural source. We already have problems with the economy, we don't want to lose our natural supplies. I'm sorry.

I tried to talk to one in tiktok and they called us monkeys. (That's straight up racism if you ask me)

The reality we face remains as dire as when we first shared our story, and we find ourselves once again reaching out for your compassion. Despite our efforts and the help we’ve received so far, the struggle to survive and continue our journey to Uganda continues.

The situation has not improved. Since the last update, the €420 we received was used as best as we could to help the sick with much-needed medication and to provide a minimal amount of food for the most vulnerable. But with only limited resources, we have barely managed to keep going, and we are still stranded.

We continue to be in desperate need. The goal to reach Uganda, where safety and the possibility of rebuilding our lives await, is still very much out of reach. Every day that passes without enough support puts our survival in jeopardy.

For the 110 of us—and our animals—we are still in urgent need of $55,000 to continue our journey. This will cover transportation, food, and basic survival necessities for the next phase of our journey.
