I originally voted for StormCherry for Moonpaw, but I think I love the idea of Honeyfur for them instead - being named after her aunt is such a cute idea. Which led me to the next potential idea - Moonpaw as a FlipBay kitten (or PlumThrift), with any canonical siblings being for the other. Perhaps, just maybe, they end up with their kits at the same time - first time parents trying to figure out how to do everything, who end up relying on each other for advice for better or worse. If you do this, I'm not sure what kind of relationship they would have, but I imagine it would be fun to play with the dynamic of Moon and the other kit(s). Or like a sort of story of their parents struggles to be well... parents, told through the kit's perspectives of themselves/each other? I don't know if any of that made sense haha
It's a lovely idea, but I think I will try to avoid giving PlumThrift kittens unless it fits Moonpaw specifically the best. If I do end up doing it and Moonpaw comes with living siblings, I might go with the thought and give the extras to FlipBay though!
It would be useful genetically, for "futureproofing" the litter. PlumThrift can't have successful grandkids without tripping Rule 2, so if the writers grab a Moon sibling to have kits in the future I'd already be covered.
In a nutshell: PlumThrift Moonpaw, with siblings given to FlipBay.
That said, I'd love to explore the dynamic of "new parents helping each other out" with StormCherry and FlipBay instead, possibly with ShellFern in there if they have their litter around the same time. Then they'd be more like friends than family.
Plus, Stormcloud and Cherryfall are senior warriors while FlipBay and ShellFern are quite young in comparison. Something about that seems cute. Cherryfall would probably be stubbornly insisting she's got it all figured out and trying to pull rank, while Bayshine and Fernstripe conspire ways to get Stormcloud in the nursery more since he's obviously a better fit as a Mi.
Shellfur barges in whenever his love, Fernstripe, seems like she has a problem. Stormcloud takes any excuse to come and take care of everyone in there, probably becoming an assistant to Daisy for a while. Flipclaw has a surprising wave of maturity wash over him, finding out he's really good at weaving wicker bases for mossballs. Lots of little things like this.
I'll see what litters canon tosses at us in the next few books. I'm hoping Changing Skies opens up with a FernShell set to play with, or if we're REALLY lucky some kind of pregnancy announcement in the last book of ASC. Who knows. We might get a NightSun litter, which I'd IMMEDIATELY zap into SunFinch kittens.
If the nursery has less than 3 queens I'll deploy Leafshade and Honeyfur as StormCherry kits, who can grow up as Moonpaw's childhood friends.
(Provided Moonpaw doesn't become a StormCherry kitten herself, of course)
#Plus then if Leaf is growing up as her childhood friend I can give her a split tortie face pattern#And then cats in-universe can comment on how Moon's face is different from that#Like clearly not just a fur pattern but an actual chimera feature#BB!Moonpaw#Bb!cs#Better Bones Au

Hello, may I request a Nutshell of how would TFP Ratchet would react to the news of Nightlight sparked(?) And how he is as a dad. I'm in awe that he is an Uncle Ratchet of Medix in Rescue Bots Academy, which, if I'm not wrong, share the same universe as TFP. If possible, could you also add how Lithia and the future sparkling/s dynamics could be considering the huge age gap between sibling. Thank you!
In a nutshell...
I spat out my drink when I found out that Medix was Ratchet's nephew. Does anyone know who are his parents?! Why didn't Ratchet say he had siblings!?
Anyways...
I'm guessing that this would take place shortly after Cybertron had been restorded.
Ratchet nearly fainted when he heard Nightlight was sparked. After the initial shock he is estatic!
Now that there is more energon to go around, he is making sure that Nightlight gets top care for the bitty. He is on top of all her appointments and does a refresher on sparkling health for his kid.
Nightlight is a bit scared at first, she never thought that she would have a Conjunx, much less start a family. After some talks with Ratchet, she starts getting ready for the bitty to come.
The Rescue Bots are a bit confused when they received a surprise visit from Ratchet and Nightlight. Confusion replaced by surprise when the pair show their bitty to them. The students get called in for a surprise visit.
Medix is excited when he sees his uncle and aunt again, but a bit confused by the bundle in her arms.
Squeals and screams when everyone realizes that Medix has a baby cousin. Medix has met the bean for less than a minute and already loves them.

i keep thinking about the surprisingly complex dynamic of nahyuta and ema by the way
ema is clearly so baffled by nahyuta dragging her across the world with him, showing her such uncharacteristic kindness despite her openly supporting the other team. but knowing nahyuta and his habit of doing meticulous amounts of research on everything, he likely knows about the SL-9 incident, and more importantly, the difficult and torturous lengths that lana went to, in order to protect ema. he himself is doing the same with his own little sister. he knows that if ema found out the truth, at least she would understand him. she would get it. perhaps in a way that very few other people would.
and besides, he barely has anyone he can talk to. he doesn't believe in the mask he's being forced to wear, but what else can he do? he can't reconnect with apollo, because if ga'ran finds out that they're long lost family then apollo will be in danger, just like everyone else nahyuta cares about already is. he can never show mercy to the defendants. it's a lonely life he leads.
but ema technically works for him. officially, she's on his side. and yet she's friends with phoenix, apollo and athena, she wants the truth to prevail over injustice, she's everything nahyuta wishes he could be but can't. she's a good person. and she's just about the only person he can show any amount of kindness towards, without it putting her life at risk. after all, she works for the prosecution, right? in these dire circumstances she's the only friend he can possibly have.
he loves science -- it's the perfect excuse. he can travel around the world with her, getting away from khura'in for a while and experiencing a limited freedom from ga'ran's clutches, even if just for a few days. he can talk to someone who doesn't blindly believe that all lawyers are scum. he can breathe. in the deepest well of icy despair, ema skye is his lifeline, his reminder that all is not lost. there is someone out there who can forgive him for everything he's done. someone who, on an intrinsic level, will understand him. someone who he can care about without a guillotine hanging above their head threatening to take them away from him again.
and ema is baffled -- why, against all odds, does nahyuta like her so much?
eventually she learns the truth. in a nutshell, he did it for his sister. and that is something that ema can always, always understand. no wonder he trusted her. with this understanding of his nature, she can finally trust him too.
#i have too many thoughts about this freaking game it's so good#ace attorney#aa6 spoilers#random stuff#nahyuta sahdmadhi#ema skye#skyemadhi#(my aro brain as usual): h-hehe... is qpr? 👉👈#i've had this saved in my drafts for sooooo looong i'm just gonna post it now

Just so stories: Mommy and Daddy
In the (questionably) blessed White Picket Fenced America of 1955, things were deceptively simple:
Mommy stayed home, while Daddy was earning enough cash to buy that new Frigidaire.
Uhm. No, not really: see what happens to Mad Men's Betty Draper, the pearl-stringed suburbia matron. Not exactly a cheerful look, but perhaps a true, albeit neurotic, one.
For some unfathomable reason, one of the main dismissive arguments used against shippers reads along some very similar lines. I paraphrase, as this is a collective POV (probably stemmed from CO's laboratory and snowballed to great success across their dashboards):
'Oh, aren't they stupid! How can they expect C to follow him around the world, children in tow, at his beck and call? Or to wait for him, military wife style, as he traipses from Vegas to London to Paris to Belgium? What are these, The Fifties?'
To this Dorothy Dixon, along comes one of the Tumblrette Pundits, with a ready-made answer, always the same:
'Of course they are stupid! Of course she doesn't! Every time she is working somewhere, she brings McSideburns and The Blonde Bambino around! And McSideburns takes care of Blonde Bambino, as he should! Reality, not fantasy!'
Let alone they have absolutely no clue about the real state of play, given the almost complete, paranoid opacity reigning since at least a Certain Sad Event. Let alone that no other logical/common sense argument provided is accepted (cults seldom deal in both acceptance and common sense);
Nannies? Pah, so 1992! Family safety net? Pah, so suburban! Working parents? Pah, these people are stars, their life is a cornucopia of perks and freebies and glam!
So, in a nutshell, according to them:
Mommy is busy working and Daddy follows all along/ stays at home with Blonde Bambino, hoping that Mommy will bring enough cashola to finish that double glazing people usually install in December.
In other words, we immediately picture C as a 'starke, titanische Weib' / the strong, titanic woman German poets were so fond of back in the 1800's. Dragging along a diminutive, shy, understanding and private McSideburns, trousered Vestal extraordinaire. The rest is taboo (or should be, in my book), at any rate.
Something wrong with this vision? Yes. It's exactly the 1950's one they accuse us of espousing (we don't), but this time the male/female symbolic roles are reversed. As a result, a shrink would have many thoughts and probably a handful of questions about that need to completely castrate the Goddess's Consort to perfect oblivion. Obliterating his life, his story and even his name, for Christ's sake!
Not a good look for either C and The Prop and, to be honest, quite a weird, borderline insulting one, especially when coming from 'respectful, realistic' fans. The real utility seems to be concealing the emptiness of a Tale Forever Untold. It will be effectively replaced by the chorus with the perfect fantasy of a modern dad, a successful producer/manager and so on and so forth.
Reality is a bit different, if you just take a look on The Fratellis' Wikipedia page and follow the links:
But, but, but... 'additional personnel' (😱😱😱) - how could that be?
And yes, remember (LOL) David Eustace and the FMN shooting photo of the Happy Dynamic Duo? Happy to oblige to a friend who provided a work project (that album was postponed two or three times, then released in 2021) during COVID, probably.
The mere thought of a young, urban, sophisticated, committed and trusting couple, living and loving their best life, traveling separately or together, allowing 'spaces in their togetherness' (wasn't that The Prophet quote she liked and shared?) is something that gives them the shingles. Anything but this. Anything - even that sad The Empress and Her Additional Personnel narrative.
You see, they don't like The Obvious. At all.

Top 5 fave Dick, Mary, and John Grayson family moments?
Funnily enough there’s so many moments I can think off yet ironically so little moments overall involving those three that don’t involve Mary and John doing that fateful performance at Gotham canonically lol
Here’s some Flying Grayson 1.0 moments that stand out for me the most
5.
While this moment will most definitely not save Taylor’s writing at all, it’s still a nice one (Nightwing Vol 4, #83)
4.

That’s actually sound advice Mary, boosting your son’s confidence while tampering with the fact he can be too ambitions for his own good
(Batman Vol 1 #339)
3.

To think this one photo op will set both Dick and Tim(my)’s going forward in a path that makes them both heroes for the innocents of Gotham to be inspired by yet also names the criminal underground fears…all because Janet wants to make sure her baby boy had a fun day at the Circus
(Batman Vol 1 #436; Year Three Part 1)
2.

Really nothing else to say much here though I guess Dick might be either at a tender younger age or Mary just likes saying that to him cause that’s how Moms are like. Even over a great height, she can’t help but baby him a bit despite probably no doubt Dick going in his head, “Not a Baby, Mom”
(Nightwing Vol 2 #7)
1.

Really these guys’ entire dynamic summarized in a nutshell. Mary can only lose count of the many times when her husband and little boy taken all sorts of risks, whether on or off the ropes, and she can count pretty high. But damn it all, she love her two favorites no matter what.
Plus even this is further evidence of Dick being just a baby faced menace of a kid; good heart and soul yet he laughs and beams in the face of danger. He welcomes it if anything
(Secret Origins Vol 2 #13)
Quickie Honorable Mentions:
All these wonderful moments from the elseworld story The Lost Carnival: A Dick Grayson Novel

Thanks for the ask @spider-jaysart It’s appreciated 💙💜💙

i'd love to hear ur complaints abt modern geronimo! If u'd like to share that is
Thank you for asking anon, I’d love to share and you have inadvertently entered the dragon’s den/lh
But fr tho, it’s a lot. It’s mostly pertaining to the writing.
The reason why I hate modern Geronimo is in the biggest nutshell possible, they screwed up the original dynamic for the Stiltons, a majority of the books is just one big game of Geronimo torture porn between the other characters, and overall a lot of wasted potential for unique interactions between the wider cast and the rest of the Stiltons as its limited to just Geronimo himself. Hell a lot of the plots could have the input from the other Stiltons if they were brave enough. And there seems to be a new character every few books and there’s no rhyme or substance to it anymore. Since when did trap reproduce???

And you’re telling me von Volt has another relative???? Yk at some point you just stop reading the books. Oh and do not get me started on the Thea problem…
Let me start with the Stiltons real quick, somehow they got worse by watering down their personalities to a bunch of cheap jokes.
What made the classic (or early) books work was that the whole point of Geronimo’s character is that yes he’s a wimp, but that’s because he’s a tired boss who gets dragged into his family’s shenanigans, and by extension his friends and allies around him. Everyone has some eccentric personality that shocks or baffle him in some way, and that’s where the comedy comes from. He’s able to stand on his own because of his duties and eagerness to stay in his comfort zone is where the meat of the interactions come from.

His family especially Trap and Thea were meant to be respective foils to him. Trap consistently bullies him and Thea is meant to be the direct opposite of him, she’s the driving force in the group and has more pants to cover up what Gerry doesn’t have. She’s the one behind a lot of their adventures or scoops, hell she’s also the one who keeps finding them in the first place and drags her family and connections into them which makes sense because that’s her job and also where a lot of the plots start from. She fills out the spots that Gerry doesn’t have. Trap is just pure comic relief and is basically that outside force to the group. Hell the two even have a dynamic of their own where’d they just fight over the most trivial things and that makes us side with Geronimo more because of the ridiculousness of his family, that’s what made it click (to me). Highly recommend you read the early books, it shows the strongest character imo (#1-20).
Now Geronimo has all his autonomy stripped away and he’s been reduced to a nothing but a punching bag for everyone around him. I hope I’m not kidding here but try reading a classic book (let’s say #7 or #26) and compare it to the writing in a modern book (let’s say #46 or #74) it’s very jarring. They put more emphasis on different ways his day is ruined and give him no room to breathe or stand on his own. There’s just no charm to that anymore. There’s no fine line with his relationship with the other characters (Run for the Hills Geronimo is probably the worse one and represents everything I don’t like about the new dynamic)
Now over time that initial draw to action is also done by Trap, which I thought was cool because it still plays into the idea of Geronimo’s family dragging him into their shenanigans and the motives make sense to him specifically. It’s like he keeps getting calls from his relatives on schemes which is fun. But the more you keep reading the modern books the dynamic gets skewed over time and here’s the part I’ve been waiting for…Thea gets shelved completely. And now it’s somehow the GOD DAMN GINGER BROS SHOW?????
Now I think about it, Trap used to be a lot more clever in the classic books as well, he’s essentially a bumbling fool who keeps falling into the wrong situations to make a quick buck which slowly backfires on him. If you know me that well you know I’d call him a less scummier Grunkle Stan. The fact that there’s no Thea to balance it out or at least ground the dynamic to some level feels really annoying now.
You don’t really see much of her anymore as she’s either smiling at the back or doesn’t say more than five lines anymore, which is baffling because she’s the one who can pick up the pace the most. I really wished they showed more of her involvement again…They’re a trio, not a duo…and the books are suspiciously phasing her out to make room for the ginger bros fail routine and it ultimately feels very empty…there’s not much acknowledgement or involvement from her really like they could say she’s busy at mouseford or something but nope! Shelved completely without an explanation or a missed opportunity for a tie-in mention.
So far the only redemption I see is the Mayan Mystery one and the Soccer one where she had a more integral role which are way more recent but it still bothers me that they just shelved her for a majority of the modern run.

Listen if the modern books weren’t cowards she would SOLO all these people

she’d probably have an interesting dynamic knowing that she gets along with everyone well and is technically an adventurer. It’d be such a good parallel to her brother to play off of.
hell it’s even worse in the comics. Like there’s legit no acknowledgment of her at all, when trap is absent that gets an explanation but she’s just suspiciously…gone and the only time she does have a major role is when she’s used as a fake mask for a psyche-out to the villains (I’m sorry but if the comics are gonna pull that shit then I’m baited to believe that Thea and (cat lady) would have a homerotic switcheroo fight akin to Ms.Bellum and Sedusa. SHES THE TOUGHEST AND SMARTEST RODENT, USE HER GODDAMIT)

Idk man I tried reading some of the comics and it never worked out that much, again the dynamic feels suspiciously empty with zero acknowledgment. It’s not the Stiltons it’s just the fucking ginger bros for some reason. It doesn’t feel solid like it used to. I really can’t get into them which is a shame, and tbf why would I want to read a comic where Geronimo goes back in time and helps a colonist do his thing 💀

I’d be very happy if someone here can give me one good reason to get into them somehow, I want to like modern Geronimo, please/s
Look if there’s one character I don’t mind them putting in complete absence it’s probably the unaccompanied minors/s…Or Petunia which makes much more sense since she’s a family friend!

Look I actually like Ben and Bugsy as a duo, I think their whole concept is really wholesome, but the books don’t really push their parts that much, like there’s no meaningful interaction they have with the adults which is a lot of missed potential that or it’s just limited to Geronimo. Like listen I get that the whole point of the books was that it was from Geronimo’s perspective, but it’s not like everyone else was just “present”. They had more active roles and Gerry would just write all his observations down. You want a good example? The Mona Mousa Code.
Still…Benjamin had more charm and a bigger role in the classic books…that boy can hyper fixate and master niche skills in anything and was the emotional rock for Geronimo. But now he just goes along with his uncle being a punching bag routine :/ and I KNOW they could do a lot more for Bugsy here, especially since the paws are practically family friends.
-
But you know…I’ll do give it credit here this era has one of my favorite art styles in the series and notably the one I grew up with the most (classic books illustrations still hold more charm imo) but the way action and expression is illustrated is just *chefs kiss* there’s a certain bounce to it that makes it so memorable.
And I’ll do admit all those geography facts (even if it’s just basic facts I mean it’s a kids book) and long detailed lists or charts about a characters detail is really cool and somehow makes it more immersive.
And it’s really nice to see the universe get expanded.
But overall, the writing is not the same anymore, the original dynamic is screwed up, and lots of missed opportunity to round up the cast together. It’s either empty or I’m just getting too old…Maybe I’m just nostalgia-biased in different areas who knows. But that’s pretty all my thoughts I can pull out.
#I now understand how it feels to be a Simpsons or a SpongeBob fan#I would not be suprised if the modern books are written by ghost writers#I could use this in a four hour long video essay#I would if tempted hard enough#thinking about what a friend said I wonder if this would expose the way I characterize the stiltons#been holding this out for a while and also I’ve been busy#trying my best not to fume at the mouth#hope you like me rambling Anon#Keith answers#mouseposting#geronimo stilton#thea stilton

DEATH'S CAMELLIA AU MASTERPOST
✨ Fic Link ✨
In a nutshell, this AU is basically COTL but Narinder and the Lamb have a Hades/Persephone dynamic!
For a more lengthy, detailed, lore filled explanation...
In this AU, the Lamb and their family are gods, with their father being the God of Earth, their mother the Goddess of the Harvest. Both them and their siblings are deities who embody the seasons, with them being the God of Spring.
Their parents pledged their loyalty to the Bishops when they first rose to power in order to protect their children and secure themselves. However their father sacrificed himself for plot reasons and so their mother is fiercely protective of her children, not letting them leave her domain and keeping their true names secret from mortals and the Bishops. Though her children are very ✨rebellious✨ and frequently sneak out to play around near a spring.
One fateful night, however, Narinder happens to be passing by the spring during one of the siblings’ outings and sees the Lamb, proceeding to fall head over heels right then and there. Meanwhile the Lamb and his siblings also see the death god and immediately panic since of course THAT GUY had to be the one who discovered them. Shenanigans ensue as Narinder and the Lamb work through their feelings and oh look there’s a plot going on.

My RoLo Song for #RoLo Week 2025 Day 4 ... If I Told You by Darius Rucker
There’s something raw and unguarded about Darius Rucker’s “If I Told You.” It’s a song about fears, flaws, and the quiet desperation of wondering whether someone could love you—not in spite of your baggage, but with it.
And honestly? That’s Logan in a nutshell.
Logan isn’t the type to wear his heart on his sleeve, but this song feels like something he’d play alone on a bad night—whiskey in hand, staring at the stars while drinking alone in the woods on the school estate.
“If I told you all the stupid things I've done I blamed on being young, but I was old enough to know…”
Logan’s past is brutal. Violent. Messy. And Ororo? She’s a goddess in human form. Grace. Serene. Ethereal. He probably thinks he’s the last person who deserves to be anywhere near her. That if she really knew him—every choice, every scar—she’d turn away. But what he doesn’t realize is that Ororo’s strength isn’t just in her powers. It’s in her compassion. Her ability to see beyond pain.
She wouldn’t run. She’d stay. She’d understand. She’d accept. She’d love.
“If I told you the mess that I can be when there's no one there to see…”
We’ve all seen Logan fall apart. The way he isolates. How he acts out. And we’ve seen Ororo look at him—not with judgment, but with knowing. Like she sees the struggle within his soul and doesn’t flinch. Because while he battles the beast inside, she struggles to control her own storms.
There’s a quiet what if running through this song that fits so well with RoLo’s dynamic. Logan wants to believe she could love him—but he’s scared to ask. And Ororo? She wants to reach for him too, but she holds back, afraid that he isn’t ready to let go of his past.
“If I told you all the dreams that I have Would you still call me crazy? Still call me baby?”
For us RoLo fans, this song is a promise. That someday, maybe, Logan will find the words. That he’ll take the risk and tell her everything. And when he does, Ororo won’t run.
She’ll stay. She always has.
If I Told You
Song by
Darius Rucker
What if I told you about my little nothing town The two room house where I came from The man that I got my name from I don't even know where he is now
What if I told you sometimes I lose my faith I wonder why someone like you would even talk to me What if I told you there is no fixing me Cause everybody has already tried
Would you stay? Would you leave? I could wait It'll all come out eventually
If I told you all the stupid things I've done I've blamed on being young But I was old enough to know I know If I told you the mess that I can be When there's no one there to see Could you look the other way? Could you love me anyway?
What if I told you I don't plan on staying here My dreams are a million miles away And I know your family is gonna want you to stay You know what I don't blame 'em
So I'll say What I don't want to And I'll just pray You want what I do
If I told you all the stupid things I've done I've blamed on being young But I was old enough to know I know If I told you the mess that I can be When there's no one there to see Could you look the other way? Could you love me anyway? Aww, could you love me anyway?
So before we go any further here Let a week turn into another year There some things you probably don't wanna hear But you have to
If I told you sometimes I get jealous Sometimes I'm half crazy Would you say the hell with me, the hell with me If I told you I barely know what love is But girl if that's what this is I don't want to let it slip away No, no, no
Could you love me anyway? Please Could you love me anyway? Could you love me anyway? Could you love me anyway?

1x08 - Bugs
Score: 2
OK, another 2-points episode but I guess I'm not the only one because even Kripke doesn't like it (also talked about by Tyler Johnston in R2's Then and Now). BUT there's still much to say and analyze!
First of all: parallels. It's very obvious here because of bad writing: Sam sees himself in the young boy Matt. They both think they're a disappointment to their father. Matt for being a freak because of his interest in bugs. Sam for wanting to be normal in a very strange family. They even share the same hairstyle (before Tyler Johnston comes back as Samandriel).
At the climax, Matt tries to reason with his father, as Sam did in the past with his own father (both times against Dean's advices) and both times ended up in strong quarrels.
In the end, Matt abandons his hobby (quite a harsh moral of the story because of bad writing and you should neve junk living animals, even bugs) and reconciliates with his father. And Sam wants to apologize to his father.
The dynamic with Dean is interesting: they have opposite views on their father. Sam thinks they had a jacked education, whereas Dean loved their childhood. But Dean watched his mother die, and knows their father is also deeply affected by it, when Sam was too young to remember it. Dean has developped a deep understanding of people: they sometimes do bad stuff out of love, and you gotta learn to love them back despite everything, because loved ones can die and disappear at any time.
Apart from that, two weird things happened in the episode: Sam drove the Impala half the time, and they used umbrellas (as noticed by my partner in rewatch @youchangedmedestiel). I guess they were still adjusting what Supernatural was.
1x08 in a nutshell:
Score in details:
Dean is bi: 3 pts
He watches Oprah, a talk show in which Ellen came out, and which received complaints for discussing the sexual act of "rimming". Sam doesn't.
When a real estate agent implies they look like a gay couple, Dean feels the urge to specify they're brothers. Sam doesn't.
And... how many straight men, with short hair, wear towels like this?
First introduction of beloved characters/guests/well known actors: 2 pts
Tyler Johnston (our future Samandriel) and Jim Byrnes (Highlander series ❤️)
Banger quotes: 2 pts
"Honest/Fun and easy. It's no contest."
"We had a plan, Matt, what happened to the plan?"
Bonus: 3 pts
Direction (RIP Kim Manners).
Sound effects. They save the episode. They make us hear what special/practical effects can't make us see.
The bees are well done, considering what they had to go through.
Malus: 8 pts. Yes. That was that bad.
The brothers park at Oklahoma gas & power company building and the first guy they meet happens to be the one they're looking for: Travis Weaver.
There’s the promise of seeing Sam going down the hole where a guy died. They even make a long dialog about it between the brothers. And then, the scene is skipped.
Sam is talking with Linda Bloome until he sees a spider about to reach her hand. He interrupts the conversation and she just goes like "okay!" and out of the scene. How rude of Sam. And then, Sam instantly knows who the spider belongs to. This is so badly written.
Linda Bloome's death is ridiculous. Her character is really gratuitously disrespected.
We can see the spiders are fake, made of plastic.
The brothers found skeletons in an unmarked grave, then don't talk about it while they're driving, but only once parked in town??
Students found skeletons and brought them to their professor and he just answers their questions? He doesn't redirect them to the fucking police?? And he knows how old the bones are by simply looking at them??
Dean is ridiculous with his bug spray. I can't believe the whole crew approved this episode.

Here is my yume OC for MDZS~! (Note: this OC is shipped with Jin Ling, so if you are a no sharing or isn't comfortable with oc x canon, it's okay to block me) finally posting him here and made an tumblr account since I just found out that there are many people who also make MDZS OCs in tumblr! I usually play with some friends in facebook and X only. But since it seems that there are also people who post oc x canon and MDZS OCs here, so I decided to post here too. enough with the intro, so I'll yap about my OC. Name : Jiang Lanshui (born: Chang Lanshui) Age at the time of the novel : 15 Gender : Male Height : 163cm Weapon : Handfan (I imagine his fan is more like 2ha's Xue Zhengyong's) Cultication path : Medical Cultivator Short Background Story : [son between one of Chang family's son and a redeemed prostitute in Yunping, Lanshui survived Xue Yang's attacks due to him living with his mother away from the sect as a commoner in Yunping (his father planned to move out from his sect to be with his beloved, but it never came true, alsofor HC sake I made the Chang family have 2 sons.) After his father went back to his sect due to emergency situation and never came back, his family's economy affected greatly. The only work Lanshui's mother had worked is in the brothel, and so in order to make sure her children could eat, she sold herself back to the brothel while Lanshui and his sister worked as a servant there. One day, his sister had enough and thrown a tantrum and ran outside the brothel. Lanshui as an older brother ran after his sister, unknowingly this act has saved his life from the fire that has engulfed the brothel when they got back. And so they are an orphan and homeless. Eventually his sister who is younger and thus weaker than him both mentally and physically passes away. Lanshui was also almost eaten by cannibals who was driven by poverty, if the Jiang Sect didn't saved him from misunderstanding of the people. (people start to go missing and they thought it is due to ghosts or demon so they asked the sect to eliminate the ghost... which there is ghosts around the area but they aren't the cause). After saved by the Jiang Sect, he met with Jin Ling and practically follows him everywhere until Lanshui gained enough health. Though begrudgingly, they became close. When Lanshui was about to leave the sect to go back to the street, Jin Ling, who lowkey didn't want to lose his already few friend, asked his uncle to check Lanshui's affinity to cultivation. After checked, he indeed have an affinity to become a cultivator, and so he entered the sect as a disciple + becoming Jin Ling's attendant while he is in the Lotus Piers. ] --- Other than MDZS timeline AU, I sometimes also draws him in modern AU and some other AUs as well. (I also enter him as MTSF oc as SaltedSnake's adopted son). And so some of the images I show next will be combination of many AUs.. not just the MDZS ancient china one.

his expression almost never changed drastically. Despite his cheerful facade, it's rare for him to show any strong emotions. (bro is already too tired) and so their dynamic in nutshell:

Also some extra illustrations I had made in past because why not show their dynamic further:

If I should describe their dynamic with existing ship/characters..... [EDIT] Y'all... watching nezha 2 made me realize they are more or less like FCU OuBing. (tbh Lanshui in my oriverse is alsoa dragon so... yea, a young master cultivator and his dragon yao wife) so anyway, thank you for coming to my TED talk

My review of Bridgerton S3: Part 1
Ok, here we go...after rewatches, discussions and posturing. Here it is, a multi-part look at S3.
Disclaimer: These are my opinions, that does not make them right, nor am I posturing that they are the only opinion. Very up for discussion with y’all as long as it’s respectful.
Disclaimer: I do not stand for hate against any actors/actresses or writers. Please, please, do not send hate to them.
In a nutshell:
I loved moments, far more than the writing.
In this first post I'm going to highlight some of these moments before diving into the different storylines. So, in no particular order...
The family scenes. Part 2 gave us more family scenes and I adore them. They are the scenes that really keep me engaged in this universe. The bonds between this family, the different dynamics, the banter. *chefs kiss* .
THE BOYS IN THE CLUB. I adored the bromance between Benedict, Colin, John and Will. It is so rare in media to see wholesome, deep, male friendships that are just that—friendships. Both scenes with the four of them showed the genuine care and vulnerability they could be with each other. Colin revealing his worried about his writing? All of them supporting Will when his club closed? Benedict and Colin supporting John's worries with Bridgerton chaos? I LOVED IT AND WE NEED MORE.
Violet being the origin of her children’s obsession with their crushes eating.
The fact that Hyacinth and Gregory took Will and Alice’s son in as their friend without question? I loved.
The sets this season? The markets, the final ball, the balloon expedition—stunning.
Ginny Delacroix giving Pen great advice and a fun/enjoyable pre-wedding night get together. She is a queen.
Lady D staying behind when the queen threatened the Bridgertons… I grinned so much.
The charades game at the engagement party I ADORED. It was a good example of how writing can portray multiple things all at once.
The use of ‘light’ and ‘dark’ throughout the show. A really nice stylistic choice for Polin.
Bi Benedict? How did we? Huh? 2020 me could never realise my manifestations would come true.
Now…for the next post. Onto the main couple…

hi hi! ive been thinking about the ikevil suitors with a teen mc (14-16)? I guess you could see this as "what if the ikevil suitors encountered a younger mc instead of kate?". a younger mc who's said to be mature for their age could probably spark interesting dynamics with the gang. in a nutshell I'd like to see some hcs w/ all the ikevil with a younger mc! also no need to worry about including possible spoilers from the story. (found family perhaps :D)
Oooh this was fun to think about! Thanks for the ask Anon!
Younger MC HC for Ikemen Villains
Young MC HC:
She’s very confident and bold, at times reckless
She takes absolutely 0 shit from anyone and I imagine that she may have been living on the streets, stealing something from the mansion when she discovered the Crown.
Dad Energy:
Victor, William, Roger
Go out of their way to make sure the only missions she goes on are ones with minimal risk.
100% would give her a piggyback ride if she gets tired or hurt (especially Roger)
Always willing to listen to her stories and love hearing her talk about things she’s passionate about
Victor is unable to stop making dad jokes, he tried, he physically cannot restrain himself.
Not afraid to scold her if she does something stupid
Older Sibling Type:
Harrison, Elbert, Alfons
Very protective, refuse to let her leave without one of them with her
Tend to get exasperated by her recklessness since they feel personally responsible for keeping her safe
Like to buy her little gifts when they go on missions outside of London
Harrison definitely ruffles her hair to annoy her
Elbert will give in when she asks him to fix her hair
Alfons really likes to make her uncomfortable by talking ‘bout dirty stuff and thinks it’s hilarious when her disgust and discomfort show. He One time got her to cover her ears and walk away and would NOT stop laughing
Little Bro/Bestie Style:
Ellis, Liam
Like to tease her in a friendly way
Will do just about anything to get a smile or a laugh
Always offer to join her on missions, mostly because they enjoy spending time with her
It hurts them if she gets upset with them
Jude:
Finds her endearingly irritating
She does not put up with his attitude and dishes it right back
If they are in the same room they’re probably bickering/ exchanging insults
Will not admit he likes having her there. He will go out of his way to express how much he despises having her there but everyone (but MC) knows he finds her smart-ass mouth entertaining- no one else usually fights back with him like that.
Hates having her on missions, she never listens to him, ends up getting into trouble and he gets blamed for it when they get back
She generally tries to avoid him but does enjoy getting under his skin if she’s forced to be in the same place/ on the same mission as him.

In TFE Silver Aid (Buddy)
How's her relationship/dynamic with the OP, Megatron, & Elita-1 in Earth?
In a nutshell...
'Buddy' does have helmaches from time to time whenever she's with them, powers through.
She doesn't spend too much time with the other bots, preferring to stay with her family.
But when she does hang with them...
Optimus and her talk about the history about things before the war. 'Buddy' really wants to know what were things like before everything. Optimus gladly talks about things before the war. They get along just fine.
Elita and 'Buddy' got along like a house on fire. The two don't know how bet they clicked after a night on patrol. Elita liked 'Buddy' and her willing to stay by her families side. It reminded her a bit of... it doesn't matter anymore.
Megatron and 'Buddy' took a bit to get along. With the whole disagreement in the begining. But thanks to all the Maltos, they quickly found some common ground.
'Buddy' smiles to herself seeing Megs playing with the kids and being gentle.
Megatron smiles at 'Buddy' bittersweetly. She would have gotton along well with Silver Aid...

Posting my ocs I have refs for put the fixation into hyperactive so I'm adding some rambles/info for Noctus Datura and other stuff I have cooking. Feel free to read if interested, if not then that's OK ✨️
Noctus Datura College staff:
Headmage (Chernabog): Ahmya
History Professor (Yokai): Toshiko
Alchemy Professor (Madam Mim): Mira
Gym Teacher (Gantu): Kaimana
Shop Owner (Helga Sinclair): Claire Preston
------
Much like NRC, Noctus Datura College performs its orientation with its signature magical item. The school hosts a large Sundrop flower, its magic powerful enough to help power for the school. In order to keep it protected, a barrier is put up 24/7.
When freshman are inducted into NDC, they are given a potted datura flower bud for orientation. The freshman will approach the Sundrop, allowing its magic to allow the datura bud to bloom into the color of the dorm they most resonate with.
The flower colors are as followed:
Pradegala- orange
Felinox- white
Intica- pink
Sonneblum- maroon
Navisur- red
Cemuera- golden yellow
Samhaia- bright green
------
Ahmya (NDC headmage) and Crowley's dynamic in a nutshell:
Crowley: all my students love me ✨️
Ahmya: *turns to the students* raise your standards
------
Ahmya:
-originally from Briar Valley and is a fae
-sister dated Crowley and she was happy when they broke up because wtf did she see in him OR dobwhat a friend suggested with Crowley and her being bitter divorced peeps but idk if her standards would go that low.
-is strict with the NDC students, but will make sure all their needs are met as they attend school and help provide advice after graduation.
-24/7 Crowley hater
------
When a student is named housewarden at NDC, the stained glass that adorns the windows of the Sundrop's room morphs into their image. Beside their image is a portrait of their vice housewarden, allowing new students to identify who is in charge of their dorm. If a housewarden is beat, the stained glass will instantly morph to the new housewarden.
-------
NDC Housewardens:
Navisur: Fara Rogers (Captain Hook)
Intica: Yasmin Salazar (Yzma)
Pradegala: Imara Sarma (Shere Khan)
Samhaia: Scolia Nyx (Oogie Boogie)
Sonneblum: Althea Bellefleur (Mother Gothel)
Felinox: Rochelle Lechat (Pete)
Cemuera: Cecilia Montenegro (Ernesto de la Cruz)
-------
Hallow's Valley has a diverse array of fae, many of their cultures dating back since the kingdom's establishment. The abundance of species flocked towards the Hallow's Valley during the era where humans started to invade fae villages for resources. In order to avoid a war that could have resulted in many fae species facing extinction, the reigning Nyx family made a deal with the humans. In return for resources from the fae, the humans were made to work with fae to maintain those resources so neither would risk starvation. In order to keep an eye on the human population to ensure the terms were met, the Nyx family cast a barrier that hid the kingdom from plain sight. If the humans tried to cross them, no other human settlements would be able to know of their sudden disappearance.
Despite some opposition from both sides, the Nyx family were able to stabilize the human/fae relationship for the centuries followed.
In modern times, both fae and humans intersect in order to help each other as a community as opposed to Briar Valley's relationship with humans.
------
Hallow's Valley is a country home to various cites and towns with an abundance of cultures, thanks to the intertwining of human and fae. One of the most popular locations is Santa Cruz de Solaria, Cecilia's hometown. It's known as the birthplace of instrumental magic which the citizens have kept alive for centuries. Many spirits of the past roam the city's streets during the Festival de los Muertos, an annual tradition that honors the dead and let's loved ones reunite. However, if a spirit no longer lives on in the memories of the living, they vanish to the Isla de Olvidar where they can no longer wander with the living.
------
Ok thats all ✨️

Couples I Compare April x Amy(Apramy) to:
I've been having a massive Apramy brainrot these past few... weeks? months? I don't know how long, but I wanted to make a paragraph on the different couples I compare these two girls to! It's a pretty short list, since I'm very nitpicky on finding couple that represent my ship in a nutshell. I might update it in the future, but for now, these are the ones I came up with, so enjoy my rambling!
#1

Tara and Darcy from Heartstopper(Tarcy):
I picture Amy and April being a lot like Tara and Darcy from Heartstopper. Tara and Amy being the more collected and level-headed ones while Darcy and April are the more chaotic and impulsive ones that would drag their girlfriends into their shenanigans.
This scene just puts together why I compare them to Tarcy so much. I imagine for Amy, she'd be the type of person to come out later on in life, and after so many years of chasing Sonic, it's no surprise that people would be surprised she liked girls(I HC her as Pan), and since April has been out for a lot longer, so she sees April as more confident about herself and her sexuality, when in reality, April doesn't. She just goes with the flow and whatever feels right. And being there for Amy to listen to her and to help her out through tough times just to see her smile again is what feels right to her. They may both have their own different ways of dealing with their everyday life and inner struggles, but they won't be afraid to talk about how they feel, and open on their opinions without any judgment.
youtube
#2

Rapunzel and Flynn Rider[Eugene] from Tangled(New Dream):
The dynamic these two have is everything! Both Rapunzel and Amy are SUPER caring and loving to everyone they meet, even when it came to people who've tried to hurt her, she still managed to stay kind and see the good in them, while also standing her ground to protect the ones they love. All the while, they prove themselves to being able to take care of themselves, even when the odds are against them, they'll still fight for their friends and family, even if it means hurting themselves in the process. Meanwhile, Flynn and April show the same adventure seeking action they want out of life, and trying to make a name for themselves, since they only saw themselves as kids with nothing to their names growing up. And even with their snarky and cocky attitudes, they show a genuine care for the people they love, willing to go above and beyond if it means they get to live their lives.
Their are a lot of moments throughout the movie with New Dream that really speak Apramy, but if I were to pin point one in particular that really spoke in full volume how much New Dream is like Apramy, I would definetly choose these scene. Like I stated above with Tarcy, I definetly see April and Amy being more willing to open up to each other. However, I can see April having more trouble expressing her vulnerable side, since she wants to be seen as someone who's able to hold her head up high and bring a smile to everyone she meets. Amy would definetly help her express her vulnerable side, and help support her in her struggles to help her accept the person that isn't trying to live life as someone else, but as their own person.
#3

Luz and Amity from The Owl House(Lumity):
It's less based on how they met initially, and more on the relationship Lumity has in Season 2. While not as strong of a connection to the other two, I do definetly see some instances of Apramy in Lumity. Both Amy and Amity are extremely patient and kind individuals, but hold a fiery passion for the people they care for, showing a very protective side because of it. And Luz and April are both super energetic and bubbly, who want to find their place in a world that seems to always judge them for being weird. No matter what, they try to keep an optimistic view on life, even when in the face of danger.
The dorky and awkward moments that they share with each other are everything. Like, I can totally see April and Amy fumbling over themselves just to impress the other before they decide ask each other out. It's just those moments that bring a smile to my face.
youtube
Anywho, I think that covers it so far!
I hope you guys liked my ship comparisons to my OCxCanon ships, and hopefully it gives you a better understanding of the kind of dynamic April and Amy have!
Thanks for reading!
