Hi. My name is Auterrio.

I never thought I’d have to write something like this. But right now, I’m a full-time college student... who’s homeless.

No dorm. No apartment. No car.

I’m hundreds of miles away from home with no way to get back.

I haven’t had a proper meal in days.

I sleep wherever I can, scared, alone, and unsure how I’ll even make it to the next morning.

But I’m not giving up.

Even with everything I’m facing, I still show up for class when I can. I still try to be strong.

I still take care of my best friend my cat, Safari even when I’m running on empty.

He’s all I have right now. He curls up next to me when the world feels too cold.

He doesn’t know we’re struggling. I just want to protect him… and give us both a real shot at life.

I’m trying to raise $10,000 to

Get stable housing and food

Buy a used car so I can work and get to school

Support my family back home who are also struggling

Start a small business that brings in passive income so I never live like this again

I’m not asking for pity. I’m asking for a shot.

A shot to live. A shot to breathe. A shot to dream again.

Tim is very confused by the messages he’s been getting from the university he used to attend.

He’d stopped going to classes a while ago, yet for some reason they keep marking him as present and his work as getting passed in.

Nothing actually bad has happened using his identity that he can identify, but it’s still concerning.

Meanwhile, Danny has been having an amazing streak of luck!

Apparently he’s a dead ringer for this “Tim” guy who’d stopped showing up to class, so he’s been able to take that guy’s place and con his way into access to classes and campus resources entirely for free!

myrna calling robby fruitcake and cocksucker and it being an established thing yet abbot somehow doesn’t know about it has me thinking thoughts

what if myrna is/was a sex worker? and robby did sex work to get himself through med school? what if they knew each other and maybe kept an eye on each other?

it puts robby being willing to do a technically illegal abortion on a minor in a new light. maybe he looks after the other workers when he can; anonymously getting them in for std treatments and abortions and vasectomies, looking out for them when he knows they'd be discriminated against or even arrested if they came in at the wrong time

that he would be discriminated and arrested for just trying to keep himself above water

and it wasn’t all bad, sometimes it wasn't even all work; your brain doesn't know it's a stranger you're cuddled up to after being awake for 30 hours studying for an important final, surviving on coffee and whatever power bars you can grab if you thought that far ahead. it just knows there's a warm, soft body in your arms that wants to be there and wants you to be there and sometimes robby needed those arms around him even more than he'd ever care to admit

and it wasn't all that strange for those arms to be myrna's

myrna was the one who taught him what to wear and how to wear it, how to suppress his gag reflex and get cum out of his clothes, which streets to avoid and which were fair game

and it's myrna he fast tracks in the er when she comes in with a busted face and a long story about a short fall

they stuck together even when robby hung up his boots for the last time and he never stopped looking out for the people who took him in when he needed comfort most

Recently I saw a fanart where Stan and Ford managed to go to college together and it gave me the idea to create Au.

For now, this is just the beginning of the idea with this Au (drawing is not my strong point, so I don't think I will make many drawings from it) I'm thinking about making a mini fanfic series about this Au, but I don't promise anything!

Sorry I don't even think that I saw this on your blog but also I thought the post was a reblog from someone that didn't live in Scandanavia but it was about this group/organization of people (I guess you could compare them to the masons somewhat?) and they like it's like either about Sweden or Norway I think and they're kinda drunk a lot but are nice to everyone and sometimes have all their stuff in a cart and I guess that wander around I'm not sure but they're like nice to everyone because they have like a code of conduct that requires it and they have sort of a fanciful name and I think because the tradition derives from somewhere old do you know what I'm talking about? searching up scandanvia nice drunk people with stuff in their carts and code of conduct is uh not turning up much for me

I think it's related to the imagining of in patient psych as an ideal recovery environment for people who are clearly having serious issues in public. Obviously the street is not a good place for them, but the wish that people "like that" would be locked up and given treatment is primarily about this person being annoying or disturbing, a feeling that you didn't used to have to see this and put up with it because it was contained elsewhere, and a desire to go back to it being contained elsewhere. But many of us are aware that this impulse isn't good, so to soften it to ourselves, we imagine that the place where those people will be contained must be good for them. But that's not really any more scientific or data driven than people arguing that all institutions are only harmful and should be immediately abolished.
