Fuck it, Honkai 3rd worldbuilding time.
============
Anti Entropy Server Network > General Information > Honkai Energy Weaves > Necessary Weaves
An Introduction to Honkai Weaves, presented by Doctor Henry Clarke, (Formerly) of St Freya
(Note : This edition of the document was written shortly after the incident with the Wind Herrscher.)
Honkai Energy is all around us, in doses large and small. From the smallest of AE’s batteries to the Herrschers themselves. To be a Valkyrie, or analogous, requires one to have an immense understanding of this.
Honkai Energy, when used through the outlet of Humanity, and Intelligence as a whole, is best utilized through what are commonly called Weaves. Weaves are highly complex, layered semi-constructs of Honkai Energy, used in everything a Valkyrie does, be it enhancing their body beyond human comparison or summoning giant cat paws.
In this introduction, I will go over two of the most common and crucial weaves, while more complex and niche ones will be introduced to students individually.
Now, to begin with we have the Enhancement Weave, a fairly simple weave that you’ll become intimately familiar with soon enough. The Enhancement Weave, as should be obvious, enhances the physical form.
It’s laughably simple, in truth, to generate. While I can’t explain it’s workings in an understandable way here, as it’s something rather esoteric and they still won’t update the system to support graphs and images, I can explain what it does further.
The Enhancement Weave increases speed, strength, reaction time and so much more, but what’s important is two factors. 1) This enhancement uses your current state as a basis, meaning the better your condition the stronger you are. 2) When you unravel Deactivate if you want to be boring. the weave not all it’s effects are lost There are ways to trigger this effect without unraveling it, but all are highly complex. In fact, roughly 5% of the effect remains indefinitely. When you couple these two things you get the ever increasing power of a Valkyrie.
Now, onto the next weave, which is important less often to B rank Valkyries, but is essential if you seek the A rank, alongside simply making many other things easier.
I am, of course, talking about the Friction Weave. The Friction Weave, while having a gross oversimplification of a name, is truly necessary when you reach the levels of an A rank Valkyrie. Now, you are all likely to struggle with this weave, as while it’s considered among the basics it’s also one of the more complex weaves you’re likely to run into.
The weave itself is not of human creation. In fact, to my knowledge, it was copied unfathomable long ago from either a rather powerful Honkai Beast or a full on Herrscher, both of which are known to generate it by their very natures.
The Friction Weave has very little to do with friction, inherently. But ignoring that for now, what it does, most importantly, is negates sonic booms1. It’s this weave that allows A rank Valkyries to move at speeds in excess of Mach 2, when the situation calls for it. It’s this weave that allows the most massive of Honkai Beasts to even move without tearing themselves apart. It’s this weave, all of it. And we barely know how.
However, this isn’t the time to lament the limits of human knowledge. Instead, I have one last thing to mention regarding the Friction Weave. In certain atmospheric conditions, few of which are even vaguely natural in occurance, the weave actually has the opposite effect. It generates devastating effects of various natures instead, typically vaporising everything nearby.
(Archived note, attached to main document after transfer.) It is this fact that makes me believe that a fully realised Wind Herrscher would’ve been a threat like no other. While we never got any halfway decent scans of Wendy’s weave, battlesuit scanners meant to monitor the condition of Raiden Mei (Atmosperic sensors included to note possible stormfronts) detected forming type 1 and type 5 environments all around her during the event.
1 Which can be rather terrifying when they interact with Honkai Energy, being known to have pulverised solid steel and deafened everyone within 40 meters during testing.

regarding connections between amphoreus and genshin impact…
… spoilers for hsr 3.0, ofc…
aquila seems very celestia-esque. destroying civilizations that attempt to break the firmament? dropping nails even here i see.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
it is said that when aquila closes their eyes, wherever they were looking turns to night. this is referred to as “evernight.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
in genshin impact, the land of enkanomiya was severed from the surface world, thus losing any contact with celestia (or any gods at all). it was always dark then, which has also been called evernight… (and yeah yeah the other one is whitenight. pause for aventurine to do his dance.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
enkanomiya is part of inazuma, which is like. fantasy japanese. BUT! they only started naming things there with inazuma style names AFTER regaining contact with the surface. before that, they had greek names/words. liiiike amphoreus
Tumblr media
and in amphoreus. the “blacktide” that’s been wrecking the place manifests as glitchy red and black cubes. like the sustainer of heavenly principles is known to fight with, like a place struck down by celestia is surrounded with, and like we see when we break the false sky.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(photo of walter young gazing upon the blacktide obtained from @voidwelt.)
talanton, the law titan, created all laws and maintains balance, but sometimes they transform people into horrifying monsters. for some reason.
Y’know who else created laws and strictly upholds them. y’know who ELSE curses people to turn into horrifying monsters.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
CELESTIA’S LITTLE HEAVENLY PRINCIPLES.
what is going on out here.

So, what is Arlan hiding, anyways?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Judging by how stoic he is, he obviously must be hiding the wound because he doesn't want people to worry about-
Tumblr media
Hmmmm...
Something doesn't add up here. Let's do some more digging. Looking through Arlan's voicelines and character stories turns up nothing useful- in fact, our only scrap of information about Arlan's past is hidden in Asta's second character story. It's almost like Arlan is extremely reluctant to reveal anything personal about himself, and everything we know has to come from third party sources. (Remember in his companion quest when Asta had to emotionally blackmail him in front of us to get him to admit he thought Herta was overbearing? Good times, Good times)
Tumblr media
...so he's had this 'wound' since before he met Asta. On a related note, isn't it interesting how his right side, the side with the wound, is almost completely covered up?
Tumblr media
You could say there's an entire side to him that's being kept closed off and hidden away from the world. How strange.
Come to think of it, doesn't Arlan's whole deal seem rather familiar? A conspicuously 'foreign' (read: dark-skinned) looking character you meet in the starting area who was absorbed into a wealthy household at a young age?
Tumblr media
Kaeya is, of course, from Khaenri'ah, the faction whose war against the gods serves as the inciting incident for Genshin Impact's entire plot.
So, assuming the parallels are intentional, what does this mean for Arlan?
Which faction in HSR might raise a child who knows nothing except violence, for whom generosity and charity are not simply unheard of, but completely alien concepts? Which faction is frequently associated with breaking chains and liberation but also an obsession with continuing the cycle of violence through revenge?
Tumblr media
Which Aeon is known to bestow a mark on all THEIR most loyal and dedicated servants?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
What sort of power can create a wound that never heals or fades, not even years later?
Tumblr media
I'm just saying if I had the blood of Nanook perpetually dripping from a wound on the back of my hand I'd probably want to keep it covered up, too.
Also LOOK AT HIS AETHERIUM WARS TEAM

i just had an idea. it probably makes no sense and is extremely self-indulgent, like most (if not all) of my ideas.
what if, after Void Archives left the Astral Express, he found himself on a planet that's on the verge of collapse, saved it and became its leader. he transforms a dying civilization into a modern utopia.
in my head it looks sort of like the Crème Republic from Cookie Run: Kingdom, because somebody pointed out in the comments of a tiktok video that Clotted Cream Cookie kinda looks like Void Archives. though there would be traces of Schicksal here and there, like, in the churches and government buildings.
ofc the express crew end up visiting this planet one day and Welt is just like, "wtf? THIS is what you've been doing this whole time??" (and then they kiss.)

These are merely personal theories and headcanons. All could be disproven, so please consider them with a grain of salt.
My top headcanons and theories:
1) I firmly believe that Kaveh is Hine Mavuika's reincarnated sister. I am willing to defend this belief; I will die on this hill.
Tumblr media
2) This is less of a theory and more of a headcanon: I believe Alhaitham arranged for or sent Kaveh away during the Sumeru Archon quest. Regardless of whether you ship them or not, they care for each other. I found Kaveh's sudden trip to the desert during the Archon quest to be random.
Tumblr media
3) I also play Honkai: Star Rail and have a theory, though I do not have any supporting evidence. I think the Traveler and the Trailblazer are the same species. They likely both have a Stellaron inside them and share the same golden eyes.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
4) The small saurian in the Natlan world quest is the reincarnated Pyro Dragon.
Tumblr media
5) Headcanon: Alhaitham can see the Aranara, not due to childlike wonder or the Aranara themselves trusting him, but simply out of spite.
Tumblr media
6) Another theory: Herta from Honkai: Star Rail is possibly one of the witches belonging to the Hexenzirkel.
Tumblr media
7) Honkai: Star Rail takes place after the Genshin Impact storyline.

I love theories that fall into the category of "I Can't Prove I'm Right, But You Certainly Can't Prove Me Wrong".
My current personal theory in this category: "Akivili of the Trailblaze (from Honkai Star Rail) is actually the Third Descender (from Genshin Impact). Y'know, the Descender whose remains were turned into the Gnoses?"
Is there anything saying that I'm right? That these objects connecting the Archons to a Higher Presence, the same objects also called "curses" and said to bring misfortune, are actually the dismembered body of a mysteriously vanished Aeon from a completely different game? Absolutely not!
Is there anything saying I'm wrong, though?

Alright, who’s ready for another theory.
Today’s subject is:
Who is the Voyager
I originally planned to post this after 5.7 but the thought of this entire theory getting debunked kinda scared me… so the sooner the better (plus I have not posted in a hot minute minus some reblogs)
So, my claim on who the voyager is, is none other than the a missing aeon, Akivili the Trailblaze. No I have not lost the plot, in fact this is so genius that I began to fear myself.
Let’s start with Teyvat, our dear beloved land in which all of the beloved people of the past, present, and future live on. During the wars between the dragons and heavens, Phanes created the false sky to hide teyvat away from extraterrestrial beings out of love for humans. Many describe it as a cage or prison.
Tumblr media
Thus Isolating Teyvat. You want to know what else is Isolated? Pegana, the home world of the Aeon, Akivili.
Tumblr media
The Tree of Existance, a tree which birthed all of the universes planets, also reminds me of another important tree that contains all of Teyvat’s history via leylines. I could draw a line and claim that the Irminsul is a “branch” of the Imaginary Tree. Though I’m not too well versed in either topic so if anyone is interested to adopt it, take it away.
Back to why the Voyager is Akivili…
Akivili isn’t necessarily dead, they are just missing and another fellow aeon, Nous, may seem to know what happened though THEY have kept THEIR mouth shut about the whole situation. We all Know how the Voyager isn’t from teyvat, and had drifted through the cosmos for some time know before being awakened by our favorite dragon King Nibelung. She traveled all across the cosmos finding people and civilizations that were bond to fall, and could not warn them. She tried to warn Nibelung but failed thus when she returned to teyvat, she was confused as to why the dragon king was missing and his people were (mostly) gone. (Let’s all collectively boo at Phanes).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both Akivili and the Voyager have great ties with traveling through countless galaxies. Much like the Voyager has ties with fate, the aeon has ties with Destiny. If I’m not wrong, those are fairly close concepts to each other further proving my point that they may be the same being. The Star Rail’s purpose was to connect distant galaxies together, establishing connection through those galaxies. I am unsure if Akivili THEMSELVES could directly communicate with said galaxies but I fear I’m entitled to question why create this whole express if they, a Aeon, could not just communicate with the galaxies THEMSELVES.
Tumblr media
“Ink your being crazy, they probably are not connected” Ok fine, if they aren’t connected then at least I can confidently say that Akivili is tied to teyvat. Look at THEIR page.
Tumblr media
Two points I can make here.
One: the Unknowable, if this is not a reference to Forbidden Knowledge, then I don’t know what is. (This one is more or less connecting Akivili to Teyvat rather than the voyager, but still note worthy)
Two: “Countless Shooting stars streak across the night sky, if your pick the right one, it will carry you wish to thousand of distant worlds.” I got sent instantly to that one dialogue sentence in Yoimiya’s second story quest of how when you wish upon a shooting star, it summons the meteors. This could also be taken as, when you wish upon something, they are bound to come true. We also know the connection between the Twins of Teyvat and shooting stars. Im just saying.
Tumblr media
Anyway this is my theory before everything gets debunked in 5.7 or maybe (hopefully) hoyo won’t pray on my downfall and instead make me a theory genius, either way I’m throwing this out while I can. Before I bid you farewell and say thank you for reading this mess, i would like to add…All Hoyo games are connected, it’s a hoyoVERSE for a reason, and I’ve been doing everything to connect them. Akivili may be that connection I’ve been (heh) wishing for.
But hey, it’s just a theory, a HOYO THEORY…. Not funny? Im sorry.

How could Serena have become Vivian? (theory)
more of a ramble, + extension of my previous posts about this. quoted text is from various wikis, reddit threads, etc (slightly edited for readability) & an hi3 tweet.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Misteln was born from Ceclila's act of splitting her body and stigma, with the Schariac Stigmata Space, and with the Abyss Flower to cut into the Imaginary Space."
Cecilia Shariac had something called "Holy Blood", and only her and her descendants could wield the abyss flower. the holy blood is a result of Otto Apocalypse attempting to make "the secret weapon Spear of Destiny, which was the HSN-b46 serum that neutralizes honkai, also considered as the completed holy blood." very similar to the Exaltist's aim to create the Sacrifice Serum, meant to allow humans to exist in and outside the hollows.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Cecilia had used one half of her power to repel Honkai away in a massive radius. Her holy blood, which Otto warned her not to use, was used. Sadly, it was used to the extremity to stop the Core. Since the core would be foreign to the Imaginary Space, she would succeed, and then die. [Basically, she sacrificed herself.] After some time, Misteln, without a name, appearing with what was now a human form, was now living stigma, one that manifested in the world after the Second Eruption... At that time, she would constantly slip out of reality itself, since she is a being from the Imaginary Space, and couldn't exist in reality."
The Abyss Flower, which holds the power of the Herrscher of Death, the Key of Creation.... "Can split into two separate weapons, with each taking either recreation or destruction (White Flower and Black Abyss respectively)"
Tumblr media
from Vivian's trust event: "[Without much hesitation, Vivian picks out a small pot of purple flowers.] ... This is a purple-leaf violet, one of my favorites. ... These clusters of purple-leaf violets look like butterflies, ready to take flight. ... I can't help but think... when the blossoming season ends, even though their petals seem to wither... But in truth, they deceived everyone, shedding their old form and soaring into the vast sky."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Castorice/Thanatos:
— This sea of flowers blooms on dead land because we sowed it with our tears of loneliness... Yes, the only thing "Death" is allowed to create are flowers that bloom from blood and tears.
— "You shall wither, and through that, the dead will sprout again from the remains, and be reborn again with the dead flame..."
— You've been tempered by life and death. I know you'll be able to give this wasteland its first breath of life... Like a raven butterfly flying switfly into the nether realm, perching on the twig of death.
The Reaper ("Death was originally a pair of hands.")
— [Thanatos]: If the Reaper raises their left hand, the soul is granted death and allowed to enter the nether realm to await reincarnation. If they raise their right hand, the soul is rejected by the nether realm and returned to the mortal realm to continue walking the earth.
Hugo:
— Heads represents lies, and tails, death. Yet the result has long been decided.
— "When the musician's third string breaks, the Gatekeeper whispers to me: In which hand hides the coin for the underworld ferryman?" // "The left hand holds death, the right hand holds deception — but the raven has already flown away with the answer."
— Heads for the flowers that bloom in the abyss. Tails for the dawn that sets the world alight.
— A coin for the ferryman of the dead. Guess; is it heads or tails?
— You know, the world is full of contradictions yet remains unified. A cat can be both alive and dead, I can exist in both light and shadow...
Plus. there's a trust event thing with hugo where he asks you to pick which hand he's hiding a coin in, and you can choose "right, left, or neither". i've done all options and basically both hands are holding a coin. whatever you answer, he gives you a prize in return- he sneaks something into your pocket, a flower. specifically, a flower made of folded dennies. (dennies are money, usually coins)

kokomi is pearl's descendant — in this essay, i will ☝🏻
Tumblr media Tumblr media
okay, i know they are obviously similars and this happened before (like with yae sakura/yae miku and raiden ei/raiden mei) but HEAR ME OUT OK !!!!!!!
a lot of theories are going on with the new part of the archon quest. one of my favs is the black hole theory, but honestly my personal theory about pearl and kokomi can fit any other theory because what i think is (and i need you to follow me ok) that in a matter of timeline hsr happens before genshin, like if hsr was the past and genshin the present
since the ipc is the interestelar peace corporation obviously the acknowledge different planets (and maybe universes), and i believe teyvat was accessible until the cataclysm
the sangonomiya lineage comes from enkanomiya, like all the ancestors of the watatsumi people, tho, enkanomiya exact location in time and space is kinda of "a mistery"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
my theory is pretty simple: with her power, knowledge and tecnology, pearl settled in enkanomiya and founded the sangonomiya clan — since she was probably super influent, a foreigner (kinda of a "descendant" in theory) and well, pretty powerful, she could conquer the trust and respect of orobashi, deserving the title of general and priestess that now belongs to her descendant, kokomi. which pretty much explains why the archons kinda turned their backs to enkanomiya, ofc there's all the orobashi and khaenri'ah stuff, but why? bc it was led by an outsider.
or i'm just crazy. who knows? it's 1am and i should be sleeping...

Edit: Now that it's not late at night and I have my laptop out, I'm editing this so it sounds less like the ramblings of a madwoman (tho there's a limited amount I can do seeing as it is, in fact, the ramblings of a madwoman lol). Also formatting and clarity and any additional theories/headcanons/whatever I think of while editing this.
Partly crack, partly copium, but I've got some theories/crossover/au thing going on that I wanted to write down so here goes:
Crack/Copium/Theories:
All 3 of the trailblazer kids are actually "dead" aeons.
Stelle/Caelus: Akivili (Herta makes us LARP as Akivili in Hertian Realm and we're known as the Trailblazer while Akivili is known as the Trailblaze so idk I know the player character looks like Nanook but they ain't dead soooo...)
Dan Heng: Long (maybe the High Elder Vidyadhara is actually Long's own reincarnation but they have no idea bc memory wipe. TBH makes no sense for the Permanence to be dead)
March 7th: Idrila (this one's a bit of a stretch so bear with me. The Aeon of Beauty could be HoHe Elysia expy and March is also kinda Elysia expy so ??? And March was froze in ice without memory so it's totally possible that's Idrila's mysterious disappearance)
Also:
Sampo is Aha. He gives strong vibes of being a Masked Fool in canon, but I think it'd be funny if he's actually the Elation.
Pom-pom was created by Akivili to protect the Express after Aha blew it up. Pom-pom is also a proficient marksman. This is bc of some canon evidence alluding to Pom-pom actually being really powerful (Yanqing and Welt both make mention of it iirc) and the engine of the train looking like a revolver. (Also headcanon that the Astral Express itself was made from one of Akivili's twin revolver pistols. Perhaps the other has the ability to summon the train?)
Lan has not and will not kill Yaoshi bc yin-yang/life and death balance and also bc what is a hunter without prey. The Hunt had no issue killing the Propagation, so this seems like the most reasonable reason why the Hunt has been after the Abundance so long without killing them.
On aeons and the relations between paths (I might end up making a relationship chart?):
Death Aeons: Nanook is unnatural death (think murder, natural disaster, etc.), while IX is natural entropic death (like degradation from aging), Lan is controlled, balanced death (think like hunters/predators keeping ecosystem in balance), and Oroboros is the death caused by one's own greed (think pollution, overconsumption). Terminus is the end of time and final death of the universe.
Life Aeons: Tayzzyronth is overabundant life (think how invasive species population boom bc outcompeting native species for resources), Yaoshi is overabundant continuation of life (think unnaturally prolonged life), and Long is eternity (without change or growth, entropy comes for all).
Mythus and Nous are polar opposites in path direction. Akivili is midway between the two (to trailblaze is to turn the unknown into the known).
Some paths are directly at odds with each other (opposite directions), some paths have overlap (too much overlap leads to one path consuming the other like with Ena and Xipe), and some paths are neutral (running perpendicular to the others). Mostly this matters in relation to pathstriders who walk multiple paths, as it is extremely unlikely to find, for example, someone simultaneously walking both the path of the Hunt and the Abundance.
Hooh's is the ultimate neutral path. Akivili's is also a fairly neutral path, though slight odds with Mythus's (to seek to make the unknown known doesn't really work with the idea nothing can be known) and maybe Aha (just bc Aha is a jerk and like Herta said, surely Akivili would've taken offense to Aha blowing up the Express). Idrila, Xipe, Fuli, Aha, and Qlipoth also have relatively neutral paths, though Qlipoth and Fuli are at odds with Nanook and Mythus. Xipe sometimes does not get along with Aha, if Aha is being particularly antagonistic.
Crossover/AU (Genshin):
Traveler and twin are Akivili (one soul two bodies, don't think too hard about it). Akivili is presumed dead by HSR universe bc Sustainer of Heavenly Principles imprisoned Akivili on Teyvat (a world at the fringes of the known universe/Yggdrasil/Irmunsul/Imaginary Tree). Claiming that they are siblings is far easier to explain than that they are two halves of the same god.
Zhongli/Morax is a high elder (do non-high elders have the ability to turn fully into dragons? are there any high elders who are not Dan Heng? idk) vidyadhara who arrived on Teyvat shortly before rebirth. Idk weird Teyvat magic or something made his rebirth cycle this time 10x longer than normal (should only be 600-700 years between rebirth and he's canonically 6000 years old). He is unaware of anything HSR related bc memory wipe from rebirth and nobody around to explain things.
The Imaginary Tree in HI3 and HSR and Irminsul in Genshin are the same tree (Yggdrasil), but some may only be branches of the other
So yeah, stay tuned to see HoYo prove my theories and headcanons wrong in the upcoming years.

Im pretty sure a lot of people have already pointed his out. Also there's some extra nonsense that might not make complete sense
Since its pretty heavily implied that the black tide on Amphoreus is probably the antiorganic equation. And also how Genshin has started vaguely hinting towards maybe being apart of the greater hoyoverse (we probably will have to wait for 5.7 to release first).
And since Teyvat and Amphoreus are ridiculously similar. Who wants to bet that the Abyss is just the antiorganic Equation/like a evolution of it? Also it would fit the forbidden knowledge thing that makes people go mad ya know. Since knowing the equation itself makes you have the affliction in the first place?
On another note, if Genshin is in the Hoyoverse proper. Would that make Nibelung a leviathan?
Also also. Since Amphoreus is built on a scepter as a simulation, what if Teyvat is also reliant on a scepter? And when Nibelung "ruined Celestia's functions" it was breaking the simulation. It corrupted the scepter's processing like on a computer? It could also be that Teyvat itself didn't start as a simulation and it was Phanos' shell that makes up the firmament that took it into the Scepter's control. Also the 5.7 trailer had the Abyss twin talking about reuniting in the "real universe".
Pov what if our Abyss Twin is part of the simulation and like the samsaras are how many times our simulation has reset like on Amphoreus. We are the Phainon of Teyvat. Idk I'm just rambling nonsense. What if our twin is a simulation of us? Its simulating how we became apart of the Abyss.
This doesn't necessarily mean that our twin doesn't exist its more like our twin is a puppet retracing our steps. They are following a script we already wrote. They are playing their part.

Hsr Amphoreus prediction (a bit of theory too)
Major 3.1 spoilers below the cut
At the very end of the 3.1 quest, it looks like Castorice is narrating the fact that the trailblazer is going to die on Amphoreus.
Tumblr media
I think we all know that the Trailblazer isn’t actually going to die. At least, the Trailblazer definitely won’t die permanently. I’d like to predict/theorize what is going to happen after their “death”
Summary of my prediction:
I believe the Trailblazer is just going to wake up on the Astral Express. I know it sounds kind of lame, but there’s more. The Trailblazer’s “death” on Amphoreus is going to be exactly what the Nameless needs. The Trailblazer “dying” and reappearing on the Express is a perfect opportunity for them to recon and finally discuss what’s going on in Amphoreus. The whole reason only two members of the nameless left first is because of how unknown the situation was, but with the Trailblazer’s (possible) return they’ll have more information. With new information, Trailblazer returns to Amphoreus with Himeko, Welt, and Sunday. Meanwhile the Herta, Fu Gue, and Black Swan stay behind. My reasoning for those specific characters is because of one scene in the “Nameless Faces” Trailer.
Why I believe the Trailblazer will survive their “death” and how I think they’ll survive:
I have multiple reasons for why I believe the Trailblazer will just wake up on the express after their “death”. The main one being how similar Amphoreus is to Teyvat, but that’s way too much lore to dive into right now. So, I will just summarize why the parallels to Teyvat are important. Basically, a lot of issues that harm or even kill people in Teyvat don’t affect the Traveler because they aren’t connected to the leylines since they’re a descender. A very common theory is that Teyvat and Amphoreus were both locked away from the rest of the world because of them both being “stories.” I will not provide evidence for that theory because there is WAY too much and I do not want that to be the center of this post. Anyways, as “descenders” the Trailblazer and the Traveler can both be seen as “readers” of Teyvat and Amphoreus.
(Although, they themselves don’t see it this way and instead of idly watching what happens, they try to fight and save lives. This is where the whole concept of changing fate comes in, two very reoccurring themes in both Amphoreus and Teyvat. Making them more of writers then readers. Hence the theme of writing in RMC’s kit, and the whole journal thing with Mem. But that’s besides the point)
When reading a story, you should be able to close the book and pick it up later whenever you want. And yet, it is very apparent that neither the Traveler nor the Trailblazer can do that. When the Traveler tried to leave with their twin, they were interrupted by the unknown god. And the Trailblazer is completely unable to contact the Astral Express. But what if they could leave through a way they’d never think to try? (obviously the traveler still wouldn’t leave bc they want to leave alongside their twin.) What if dying in a world they never belonged to—a world that never expected them to enter—is just a way for them to leave said world. Sort of like dying in a dream and waking up. After all, everything we’ve seen about death in Teyvat shows that souls connected to the LeyLines still will live in Teyvat. But when a person dies, wouldn’t you expect their soul to go with them? What I’m saying is that when a person in Teyvat or Amphoreus die, they don’t die in the way someone outside that world would. Their soul stays alive, and this is shown in multiple ways in Teyvat. One being the border (introduced through Hu Tao’s story quest and further explored in 5.3 Lantern Rite), and the Night Kingdom (pretty much half of Natlan’s plot). We also see it in Amphoreus with the river of souls, but we don’t have enough information on it yet to really consider it credential.
Although, the Traveler is completely unaffected by the border and the Night Kingdom. Especially when compared to the way those places affect people connected to the LeyLines.
I believe if the traveler were to be killed by something belonging to Teyvat (A living being born in Teyvat, a toxin born in teyvat, a piece of technology built by Teyvat materials and Teyvat knowledge, gravity belonging to Teyvat’s atmosphere, etc.) while in Teyvat, they will die the same exact way someone from Teyvat would. Except as a descender, the world wouldn’t be able to place their soul in an afterlife. So, their soul would just be pushed out of Teyvat. And then a living soul that isn’t trapped in any form of afterlife, is simply a living soul. It is completely possible that death in Amphoreus works the same way. And if my interpretation of death on Teyvat is even just a little accurate, then it would make complete sense for the Trailblazer’s soul to be pushed out of Amphoreus when they die.
Why I believe the Trailblazer will return to the Astral Express, and why they’ll go back to Amphoreus while bringing Himeko, Welt, and Sunday with them:
How they exactly land back on the Astral Express? I honestly don’t know. The power of friendship guides their soul back or smth lmao. BUT, the reason I believe the Trailblazer will reunite with the nameless is because of a scene from the “Nameless Faces” trailer.

In this scene, Sunday, Welt, Himeko, Dan Heng, and the Trailblazer are all seen in amphoreus together. While I do think this scene can be interpreted as metaphorical (especially because right after this the trailblazer “turns” into Phainon) I think there is also reason to believe this is foreshadowing future events. This is because March 7th isn’t there. If the scene was purely metaphorical, March 7th would’ve been shown. We all know March 7th is currently in a critical condition, but even so she would’ve been there if the scene’s only point was to represent “the nameless trailblazing through Amphoreus.” But I think this scene represents those specific characters journeying through Amphoreus.
And yes I know that at the end of 3.0’s quest, Sunday and Welt were on Herta’s space station. but between then, now, and when the trailblazer goes through their “death,” they would’ve had more than enough time to get back to the express. I also believe Herta would’ve gone with them because she is the emanator of erudition, and she won’t miss an opportunity to learn about a whole ass planet she never heard about.
I do find it hard to believe that practically all of the Nameless would go to Amphoreus because it’d make sense for at least one of them to stay behind to take care of March. BUT, it’s still possible because they’d feel at ease knowing Fu Gue, Black Swan, and Herta would be there.
