I have a theory-

So all my posts abt Tim Drake have done significantly better than any other character.

I’m also pretty sure he has the most fans out of the Batfam.

I think the reason bc of this is bc he’s the easiest to project on.

He’s an upper middle class vaguely smart boy who’s had so many different personalities over the eras that at lest one has to resonate with you.

I mean the entire idea of Robin used to be a self insert for teen and young readers. But once Tim took up the mantle, the kid under the mask also took up that role.

Bc he doesn’t have any hyper specific quirks to his backstory (assassin, gymnast, ext,) thus he was much more relatable.

I’m not saying it’s necessarily a bad thing— it just creates an influx of “stans.”

Well in some Au’s (like Court Family, Shuck, and Owl Song) it wouldn’t have a chance to happen. Mostly because I’m a fan of killing off Joker early and in a very unspectacular fashion (because Joker would hate going out without a show).

But in general terms, all of them would be horrified. And I think Jason would spend a fair amount of time being terrified of Tim, depending on how Tim’s recovery process is going. But… yeah, theyre just not a good combo during that time.

The others would try their utmost to help Tim, obviously. With various degrees of success. In most Au’s this would probably also be the last straw for anyone of the Bats (but I’m partial to Jason… which tracks) to kill Joker. Have him out of their lives once and for all.

Still, I think the largest issue here would be helping Tim recover while simultaneously not triggering Jason too hard. So… different wings of the manor for them both.

Maybe you could try and guess were the hell bruce found this one, in a villain attack? No there hasn’t been one of those in a while. And it seems he is quite comfortable, maybe he was adopted a few months back?

Found in crime Alley? No Jason would have found him first, and if he had? Oh he would never let Bruce adopt him.

From a one nightstand that died? Nah most women would have told Bruce the were pregnant, and get some money.

Parents Died in an accident? Maybe, possibly the closest one yet.

A sigh came out of Bruce’s mouth before he finally said yes after thinking on it for a while. Damian know how to protect himself, and if you really were born into the league than you should know how to fight.

“ Reader I have been meaning to ask you this, how did you find that batcave?” Bruce asked he known you were Talia’s ‘twin’ but.

From what his been observing, it seems like you hadn’t had contact with the league for years. And that includes Talia, and maybe even the demons head himself.

just noticed something while rewatching season 5 episode 08!!

The part where they are chasing the second bomb, and the man gets the bomb off?? Right?? Um tell me why the dashcam footage shows Tim’s arms wrapped around Lucy? Has anyone else noticed this, or is this just a normal thing and I’m being too much of a fan boy.
